Guest Reviews
- Yvonne (9/5): Everything was as we expected - The property was just what was needed for 2 nights. Close to a very nice pub For some reason the fridge had a funny smell
- Olinda (8/5): -
- Stephen (7/5): - Location and private parking Not enough toilet roll
- Kevin (8/5): -
- Lindsay (9/5): Superb - Boscote was quiet, clean and comfortable. Its location is excellent as you can walk to the town easily along pleasant paths. Parking was execllent and we enjoyed our stay, thank you.
- Michel (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (3/5): Awful and noisy lacking in the small stuff like a pair of scissors or a pot of salt and pepper. - Nothing Got to the property about 3.30 and it was constant noise from next door banging laughing and parting up in till 11.40 that night so packed all our stuff up at 8.00 the next morning and left. The property was very small couldn’t even dry the dishes not even a tea towel. No blinds in kitchen or on the back door would not recommend this place or go back!
- Nicola (9/5): Superb -
- Eirini (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katrina (10/5): Exceptional - Room had all the essentials and more: bed, kettle, toaster, microwave, hob, air fryer…
It was a very quick walk into town through a beautiful park. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Very happy.
- Tracy (8/5): Would recomend - Very clean and equipped well.
Parking great and location with 15 min max walk to center. Unfortunately the bath room was very small for our needs, but would be fine for others.
Two nights max for us but if not for bathroom then would stay longer.
- Ryan (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy great location for the town Bit small
- Sharon (10/5): Great location - Room clean and everything we needed great location
- John (9/5): Our four day stay was very enjoyable. and Walking distance to town centre - Breakfast did not apply Self Catering. The location was perfect. Nothing everything was good.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - Value for money, 15 minute walk to the centre ,parking Very small accommodation, tiny table so nowhere to eat food
- Elaine (7/5): Value for money and ideal location. - Brilliant location for centre of Stratford upon Avon. Just a very few minutes walk in to the town centre. Free parking spot on the driveway which was extremely useful in Stratford which is really difficult for parking. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. It is a very small flat. On my own that wasn't a problem but a bigger person or a couple might find it a bit of a challenge. Good heating but the shower really was only warm. Not sure why. It was already turned up to maximum when I arrived. Very good communication from the owner. Thank you very much. Shower being too cold.
- Paul (8/5): Small apartment but GREAT for what we needed. - Location to town. Off road parking. Adequate kitchen and ability to cook most of what we wanted. Mattress comfortable but bed frame creaks a little.
- Deborah (9/5): Just exactly what I needed. - Was exactly how the pictures depicted, clean & comfortable. A lovely touch was a jug of fresh milk to go with the tea, coffee & sugar that was in the property N/A
- Leslie (9/5): Cosy self catering flat a picturesque walk from the centre of Stratford Upon Avon - Nice compact accommodation including a kitchen with oven, microwave, air fryer(so I was told, but I did not look for it). Easy to make simple meals and there is a Waitrose supermarket less than 10 mins walk away for provisions. The double bed was very comfortable. The flat is ground floor attached to the main house. The walk into the centre of town is a pleasant stroll through the park or along the Old Tramway no need to use the road. Handy for the RSC. I would use this accommodation again if visiting Stratford for a multi night stay. The washbasin is a bit of a squash and the mirror above the washbasin has to be used at right angles as the toilet seat is in the way. This is not as bad as it sounds, and taking into account the big picture of the overall facilities, just a minor inconvenience.
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- Mihail (5/5): Passable - Kitchen The bed is extremely uncomfortable and very noisy.
We can't sleep two nights
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - The location was perfect for where I was working, but more importantly were the owners who are really friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible.
That was really appreciated
- Gillian (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (8/5): Good location - Short walk to theatre also you get parking with your apartment value for money if your not too fussy The fire alarm in kitchen very sensitive
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Stanley (9/5): Superb - A nice and cosy studio good cooking fersilites nice shower all in all good Everything was GOOD
- Elaine (7/5): Nice place - There is everything you need in this place it's very clean and the location is great .very nicely decorated It was just too small for us .and very hot in need of a fan
- Theresa (7/5): Good -
- Celia (7/5): Lovely couple who owned the property very friendly and informative about the area. - Near to centre of Stratford, small but comfortable. Would have liked a little more space.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (2/5): Studio was disappointingly tiny and poorly set out. Chairs were camping foldaway and table tiny - Cheap Bed uncomfortable possibly broken. Kitchen appliances did not work. Toilet was obscenely small. Washing machine couldn’t be used because it was broken.
- Ray (9/5): It worked very well for a short business trip. - Off road parking. Good location. Comfortable bed.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean and compact the distance to stratford was very close the hosts were very helpful leaving instruction of where to go great value for money and very cosy The smoke alarm was very sensitive but apart from this everything was fine
- Purnima (7/5): Good -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed - even offering their washing machine since the one in the room needed maintenance. Provided great advice on the area as well as the easiest paths to take for all times of the day and night! The location was great and the room was a perfect size for a couple on a little getaway to visit the beautiful Stratford-Upon-Avon.
- Rhme (8/5): A bolt-hole near the Bard - Excellent location 15 minutes' walk down old tramway track across park from theatre (but if you could feel vulnerable after dark take longer route by road). Hosts helpful in correspondence (though we hardly met in person). And a car parking space if needed A bit bijou: if you need an armchair as well as a bed it's not for you; kitchen neat and tidy but slightly limited in facilities. But ideal if you just want to rest your weary head after (or between) plays
- Melanie (4/5): Disappointing - Great location Poky space. Toilet space too tight. Finished decoration tired. Nowhere to sit other than bed. TV too high in relation to the bed so caused stiff neck. Access to the bed from one side or crawl up from the bottom. Shower shelf fell down and hit person showering.
- Viviana (5/5): Not a cmfortable place - The room is located in a very nice neighborhood. The place is a few minutes walk from the main attractions. I hope I could have more good things to say The size of the entire place. Too small, too narrow. The bathroom is the worst bathroom I have ever seen. The vanitory is for a dooll's house. No exageration. You cant wash your face without getting compleately wet. I had to wash my face and teeth in the kitchen's sink. Yo cant sit down on the toilet with the door open. I feel the bathroom they offer is a lack of respect to the guests. The bed is not a bed but a sofa and it is very low, really uncomfortable. Only one chair which is hang from a door hook since there is room for nothing. In all this scenario, the best seems to be the kitchen. Unfortunately, because the kitchen has no window or ventilation, the fire alarm goes off 5 minutes after you turn on the hot plates. The kitchen drainage is plugged and the kitchen smells to humidity
- Cheryl (10/5): Enjoyable cosy stay - Can’t believe how well designed this studio was. Compact but with everything you need for a fantastic stay. Clean, warm and well presented. Such a comfortable bed too. Easy to walk to the town centre and in such a lovely area.
Never saw the hosts but the communication was excellent. No issues with entering the property at all. Nothing we knew it was going to be small in size so had no other expectations.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Good location, quick walk into town. Well appointed, everything you could need.
- Clapham (9/5): Perfect place to stay to explore Stratford and really reasonably priced. The owner was lovely as well and very welcoming - It was comfortable, clean and warm. The toilet was a little confined. But perfectly usable. I just thought a tall man may have an issue!
- Susan (10/5): A lovely autum break with easy access on foot to the town. - Comfortable and convenient location.
- Eades (9/5): Superb - Central location
- Rye (9/5): Superb - The place was very comfortable, and Fran the host was very kind and helpful. It’s location is also good , as you can walk through the park to head to town The place was a bit small, but impressed with all the facilities that was provided in such a small place
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional - Super great location, a kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Just was a nice stay really and for the price I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay! Nothing at all! It was perfect for me and my partner :) Thank you so much for letting us stay!
- Susan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Behn-katz (10/5): Exactly what was promised! - Great hosts, had everything I needed A little far from the centre of town, but nothing crazy - about 25 min walk
- Allan (6/5): Pleasant - Location and on-site parking Very small for two people. Hard to move around unit due to layout
- Jane (8/5): Overall excellent with everything we needed for 2 nights - Compact, comfortable bed and very close to the town, excellent value for money Toilet very small
- Clifford (9/5): Very enjoyable - Central location excellent for going into town walking Little bit cramped, not suitable for a disabled person
- Cassia (10/5): Had every thing we needed for a very very pleasant weekend - Clean and quaint, had everything we needed including small details like milk in the fridge and biscuits in the cupboard which made us feel very welcome. Good location. N/A
- Graeme (4/5): Our stay was ruined by the size of the space. - Location was good and the owners (who live next door) were lovely. The owners have tried to give the best experience. This is not suitable for a couple, it is way too small. We booked for 3 nights but left after just 2. You have to have the toilet door open to use the facilities, no extract in the toilet (smell straight in to bed area). There was a tiny table and just 1 chair that had to be hung on coat hooks so you could move at all.
- Robyn (8/5): Very good - I liked the location. It was a quick walk to the city centre and about 25 minutes to the train station.
- Susan (6/5): Pleasant - Efficient shower, comfortable bed. Washbasin in loo was so small that even brushing teeth was difficult. Although the little kitchen was well equipped there was no comfortable place to sit to enjoy a meal.
- Darin (8/5): Very good -
- Zanetta (3/5): Poor - Unfortunately, the whole studio is claustrophobic. To use the restroom, you either have to sit sideways or have the door open. To eat breakfast or even drink coffee, you need to unfold a plastic chair, a wooden table, and put it next to the bed so that the other person can sit on it. Unfortunately, the photos from Booking.com do not reflect reality.
- Evarista (9/5): Superb -
- Skelly (8/5): Lovely little bijou studio apartment a short walk to Stratford Upon Avon - Was close enough to walk into Stratford Upon Avon. There was free parking.
The host was very welcoming and friendly and let us borrow a USB plug as we had forgotten ours.
The little studio apartment had everything you need within it. My husband has very bad knees and really struggled to get in and out of the bed because it was so low.
We didn’t moan about it because there was absolutely nothing the hosts could have done to rectify it.
Just be aware if you book this that you are able to stand up from a low sitting position.
It’s usually something I check but it never even occurred to me to ask.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): very pleasurable. looking forward to staying again - well situated there was nothing I did not like
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Andy (9/5): A wonderful place to stay, allows freedom to explore Stratford, could not be happier - The location was wonderful, allowed me to easily explore Stratford and all the wonders it has to offer I would struggle to find anything I did not like.
- Marie (9/5): awesome facilities & location - cute & comfortable with good off street parking. handy walk to Town centre & supermarket. host was very friendly. good cooking facilities nothing
- Kieron (8/5): if you’re looking for somewhere close enough to explore everything Stratford upon Avon has to offer on a budget, this is - great location close to the town centre.
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sarah (9/5): Excellent stay. - Cleanliness, location. All good, no complaints.
- Adrian (6/5): Pleasant - close to all that Stratford has to offer .
- Marcus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maite (3/5): Unclean - Location is okay, a 15 min walk from the city centre. The room smelled weird and wasn't properly cleaned.
- Tracy (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (10/5): super welcoming reception from owners.Fantastic location for walking into Stratford. park was stunning over the road. qu - the warmth, location amazing, super friendly and great room. perfect for our needs all weekend. all great
- Raymond (8/5): Pretty good for the price - Reasonably close to the centre, clean comfortable room. All amenities, hot shower, cooker, washing machine, microwave, toaster. Etc. Needs curtains on the middle door to the kitchen or blinds on the kitchen door and window.
- Andrew (10/5): Fran and Mark are really nice warm caring hosts and I really enjoyed my stay - cosy clean and close to town nothings
