• Kimberly (10/5): The best hostel I have stayed in ever! - Everything. This stay was truly out of this world terrific! The staff created a sense of community and joy. The rooms were clean - and cleaned every single day. The co-working space was super comfy, and as an open mezzanine level overlooking the main space I could work and feel connected to music and social gatherings…The main space - with breakfast, lunch and dinner along with live DJ or music each night made me want to come home each day. Truly I hope to stay here again. There was not one thing i can say that I didn’t like.

• Lara (10/5): Great time at Okupa - I stayed 2 days at Okupa. I loved everything about this hostel. The room and other areas were absolutely clean. Such a good atmosphere, live music, the rooftop has an incredible view to the Acropolis. The staff were extremely polite. The location is great, I didn’t need transport to go to the sites. I came back ant night by foot annd felt safe. Unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool but looks lovely. I strongly advise anyone to stay there.
• AYSEL (9/5): unexpected and enjoyable - The hotel reflects the spirit of the city. Every moment is enjoyable. It's easy to explore the surroundings on foot, and afterwards you can relax by the pool. Sometimes it's so good that you might just want to stay at the hotel. when the black doors are opening, there is no warning signs. so you can hurt someone and should be careful . it would be nice to have screen for balcony because of bees. And the elevators are burning man.

This might have been the nicest hostel I’ve stayed at in the over 20+ hostels I’ve visited around the world. Large lockers, curtains on each bed, clean bathrooms (cleaned daily), really comfortable beds. Amazing large coworking space! Perfect place for digital nomads or remote work. They have two phone booths and a meeting room! Rooftop pool has amazing views and vibe. Perfect place to chill, read a book, or hang out. Not as social as the common spaces function more like a hotel but honestly not an issue for me, plenty of other ways to connect with travelers.

• Stefan (8/5): Amazing with little flaws - For Athens, this place looks amazing! The building is fairly new, looks modern and clean. Stands out and it is hard to miss it. The interior is clean and looks great for a hostel. Has different rooms for different activities, such as library, working, open space. Also, the place is fairly easy to access from the Airport, because the bus station is 15m walk away, and it is also at a great location for the main objectives, Acropolis being at 15min walk. An amazing value for its price! There are, though, some annoying little things. - The bed misses a shelf where you can leave your phone, glasses, while you sleep. - The sink is designed poorly, making it difficult to wash yourself. - There is a design failure in how the shower cabins were designed in the hallway, leading the water on the floor. I have presented those issues to the staff and they received the feedback well. I am sure that they will fix those issues in the future.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is just amazing. I saw the sunset in the terrace, which was a great bonus. Heureusement une jeune fille sympa a été nous faire des decas contrevenant a cette règle bureautique et absurde défendue mordicus par le personnel du bar!!

Thought it was quite a cool idea, we dont watch much TV on holiday but decided to watch a film one night. The sound of projector running was so loud we couldn't hear film.

I wanted to go to the swimming pool but did not have the time to do that. Hopefully next time. Great people working there - patient, helpful, kind and very nice! We had a little problem with someone taking over my storage space - they reacted immediately, solved it while I was having dinner and dealt with the situation very professionally! The only reason it is 9 and not 10 on the rating is because I wish there was one flat surface in the room where I can unpack and pack my luggage. I had to use the floor and wasn't very happy about it. I know!! - it's not a big deal but in the view of all perfection and all thoughtfulness of everything else it kind of stuck with me. And TBH the first room had one but the second didn't :(

The staff are very friendly and helpful — they assist willingly and with genuine kindness. Late returns or check-ins are not a problem, and they can also prepare a breakfast box if you’re leaving early. Everything is just like one the hostel gallery!
• Bino (9/5): Top! Gerne wieder - Unser Aufenthalt im Okupa war einfach großartig. Wir haben zwei Nächte dort verbracht und waren rundum begeistert. Das Hotel ist super modern, stilvoll eingerichtet und die Zimmer sind wirklich top. Auch die Lage in Athen ist ideal – perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden und ideal auch mit Hund aufgrund der Nähe zu Parks. Ein echtes Highlight ist das Frühstück – wahnsinnig gut und mit viel Auswahl. Abends sorgt ein DJ mit entspannter Soulmusik für eine richtig angenehme Atmosphäre. Dazu kommt eine tolle Bar mit extrem guten Cocktails. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Konzept tagsüber: Das Hotel funktioniert gleichzeitig als Coworking-Space und ist damit perfekt für Digital Nomads. Super schnelles Internet, durchdachte Arbeitsbereiche und sogar separate Kabinen zum Telefonieren – wirklich hervorragend umgesetzt. Sehr positiv fanden wir auch, dass wir nach dem Check-out noch in der Lounge und der Gemeinschaftsküche bleiben und weiter arbeiten konnten. Das war extrem praktisch und sehr gastfreundlich. Insgesamt eine absolute Top-Empfehlung für Athen – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
• Laure_B (10/5): Excellent hôtel, vivement recommandé - Excellent hôtel avec des chambres d'un confort exceptionnel (notamment les lits) et espaces communs très design et branchés (DJ etc.). En prime, les espaces extérieurs : cour arborée et rooftop avec piscine superbement décorés ! Très bon accueil du personnel.

• Roland Clairvoyant (8/5): I stayed there for one night before taking my flight back home and I had a generally pleasant stay. - Beautiful and modern hostel, with a lot of things to do on location. DJ set in the night, pool on the rooftop, library/study area. The location near the hype neighbourhood is also very good. There were people snoring in my room. However, the staff was kind enough to give me ear plugs which helped.
• India (10/5): Perfection. - I loved this hotel. It was, hands down, the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in a European city (and I’ve done my fair share of travelling). The room was really large, beautifully put together, with all necessary amenities plus some great fun touches such as a working vinyl player. The terrace had an amazing private view of the acropolis with beautiful loungers. The pool on top of the hotel is genuinely nice, quiet and there are loads of loungers to choose from. It felt like a real sanctuary being up there after a busy day. One thing I also loved was how quiet the room was - you could not hear a peep from other rooms or the outside world. Plus, the hotel smells amazing. Nothing.
• Maaike (10/5): Aangenaam verblijf in een mooi, trendy hotel! - Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De inrichting was heel mooi, leuk terras, tof dakterras met zwembad (wij waren er in april en was voor ons nog te koud). Vlakbij vele gezellige restaurantjes. Alles was top!

• Bellot (9/5): Hotel tendre proche des quartiers animés et des lieux culturels - La localisation, le design l'ambiance, l'écran géant dans la chambre. Aussi, la zone bibliothèque était très pratique et bien conçue! Le personnel était charmant Bien qu'il y avait du choix, le petit déjeuner était relativement moyen.
• Dominic (10/5): - Super Lage, ruig aber trotzdem sehr zentral. Grosse Zimmer mit Balkon und super coole Hotel Lisening Bar. Kleiner Kritikpunkt auf sehr hohem Niveau: Die Matratzen könnten etwas komfortabler sein.
• Eddy (9/5): Knap hedendaags concept - Schitterend hedendaags concept, met sfeervolle ruimtes en lief personeel. Comfortabel en knap design, ook inzake meubilair. Degelijk restaurant met menukaart en ontbijt. Prima muziek, zowel met deejays als live. Zelfs een lees- en werkruimte met bibliotheek. Dus ook interessant en creatief publiek. Aan de sanitaire gebruiken moet men even wennen, zoals in de rest van Athene. Televisie via projectiescherm is misschien niet voor iedereen ideaal.

• Corina (8/5): - Die Lage, die Schlafkojen, die Dachterasse. Das Konzept ist sehr stimmig. Das Personal ist generell sehr nett. Ich habe diesmal allerdings von einem Rezeptionisten zwei mal eine falsche Auskunft zur Umgebung und dem Nahverkehr erhalten. Es hätte mir viel Zeit erspart, wenn er zugeen hätte keine Ahnung zuhaben.

• Minjie (10/5): 超棒！！无脑订就完事了！ - 很干净特别干净，前台的每一个店员都特别友好，尤其是一个年轻的女孩，跟我闲聊了一会儿。清洁人员每天都会来打扫，我没有退房床上放了东西回来发现被整理好了被褥叠整齐连衣服都帮我叠好了。🥹🥹公共空间也很漂亮，厨房还有好大的电视可以用。室友们都很安静。 唯一可惜的是我每天都回得太晚总是赶不上去天台的时间有点可惜，大家一定要上去试试哦。 不算是不满意是我自己的问题，但真的蛮希望天台能开久一点的🥺

• Hugo Francisco Martin (10/5): Parfait pour voyageur solo - Tout est soigné, propre. La chambre partagée (4 lits) avec rideau opaque, casier avec locker, salle de bain propre... j'ai rarement vu autant de confort pour des chambres type auberge de jeunesse. Le petit déj : très bien : plein de choses à disposition, sucré et salé, et même on vous prépare ou des œufs brouilles ou sur le plat. Il y a une petite cuisine si vous souhaitez préparer vos repas (seul bémol : trop peu de vaisselles pour cuisiner ou manger ! Il faut pas être 10 à avoir la même idée en même temps !!!). Le salon en bas et la mezzanine pour lire ou travailler (ambiance bibliothèque), sont super confortable. Il y a une terrasse avec vue Acropole mais pas eu le temps de m'y attarder. Si je reviens à Athènes, j'y retourne sans pb !

• Ruben (9/5): buena relación precio calidad - Habitación de cuatro camas amplia y con baño dentro de la habitación. Todo muy limpio. Está a unos 10-15 minutos caminando del metro que te lleva hacia y desde el aeropuerto. -
• Anne (9/5): Super Lage, sehr modern und stylisch. Für uns passte alles! - Sehr modern & stylish. Freundliches Personal & tolle Atmosphäre. Küche ist nicht so gut mit Geschirr etc. ausgestattet. Dachterrasse bisher nur spärlich ausgestattet (war wahrscheinlich noch nicht die Saison). Man fühlt sich etwas „genötigt“ in der Lobby auch etwas zu bestellen. Es hat eher einen Bar Charakter. Aber das war jetzt nicht so schlimm.

• Thomas (9/5): Top Tier Athens Hostel - Staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming & helpful. The hostel vibes are cool - loved the social areas & breakfast was top tier even though it's an extra €12 it's worth it - eggs your way + self-serve very varied buffet. The DJs & music were also a total vibe for hanging out on an evening.
