• Jasmine (10/5): - Had such a wonderful stay here! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was kind, responsive, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. I really appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout the space. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

• Abdul (10/5): - Tonon House is in a quiet and good neighborhood.. Also it's very clean and the host is kind and considerate.. My flight was delayed and I came late without booking. I booked right away, the owners called me and told me not worry and they made everything easy for me. It was my second time, I loved staying there. I would highly recommend it.

• Dmitrii (3/5): Bad - Nothing Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing. There was a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals and plastic throughout the apartment, and it did not go away even after leaving the window open for several hours. Cleanliness was a major issue. There were hairs on the towels, visible stains that did not seem properly washed out, a dirty mirror and walls, a smudged TV, hair on the bed, and a dirty refrigerator. The soundproofing was extremely poor. I could clearly hear someone in the neighboring room speaking at a normal volume, as if they were just a few meters away. Check-in was also inconvenient. Although it was scheduled for 3:00 PM, I only received the instructions and access codes at 3:10 PM, which felt unprofessional. The refrigerator was placed right next to the bed and made a loud buzzing noise, making it difficult to fall asleep. There was no trash bin in the room, which was very inconvenient. On one of the mornings, the water pressure was extremely weak. Additionally, since the unit is a basement, it was consistently cold inside.

• Ugo (6/5): My stay was not as comfortable as l expected. - The cleanliness. The host being helpful in getting me to my room. I was so disappointed with the neglect l got from Van after complaining that the television in my room wasn't working. She promised to come and check it. She never sent her daughter neither did she show up. I stayed all through with no television. Also, the room was not heated. There were so much noise from the other visitors and it was difficult to sleep comfortably.

• Camargo (9/5): 10! - Muito boa localização para quem busca a experiência dos bairros mais afastados do centro. Região com muitos mercados e lanchonetes. É necessário pegar o metro para explorar o centro de Toronto. Para chegar ao metro é necessário pegar uber ou onibus. Tranquilo, coisa de 20 minutos até a estação, mas é importante considerar. Senhas de acesso poderiam ser melhor explicadas.

Very strong odour. When we unpacked our bags at home, the smell was still embedded in our clothing. Not very pleasant. The floor in our room had some sort of film on it? It was almost greasy. Standing in front of the mirror doing my makeup and my feet would slowly start sliding out.

• Kaydyn (3/5): Smelly, Dirty = Overpriced. - Good location. There's an immense smell of raw sewage permeating throughout the basement. It was very unappetizing and made it difficult to enjoy the stay. The floors were so dirty. They definitely were not mopped prior to our arrival. You could feel and see the dirt on your hands after touching it. My partner and I had to throw away brand new socks because they got so dirty after only a few minutes. The mini fridge in the room was leaking water, which resulted in me having to clean it up multiple times. All of this was brought to the property owners attention after checkout but was left with a response only concerning the fridge and nothing else. Walls are also super thin, so prepare to hear everyone's conversations and alarm clocks in the morning. Considering you have to share common areas with 2 other rooms, the lack of cleanliness, and the wretched smell, $125 for 1 night is ridiculous, being in Toronto or not. The best part about this place is the location (and the flowers for the bees). Thanks for the accommodation but would not recommend.

L'établissement est très propre, et le personnel est à la fois sympathique et correct. ​J'ai particulièrement apprécié la cuisine, qui est bien équipée, calme et très propre. C'est un vrai plus ! De plus, tout est prévu : serviettes, gel douche et shampoing sont à disposition. ​Un grand merci à la personne qui est sortie si vite pour me rendre mon câble de charge que j'avais oublié. Ce geste montre bien la qualité du service. ​Le seul petit bémol est l'emplacement, à environ 30 minutes du centre-ville, mais cela n'enlève rien à la qualité de l'expérience.

• Marie-Anne (10/5): We had an amazing stay! - We had a very good stay for our trip to Toronto. The owner is very nice, always asking if you need anything to make your stay more comfortable. There were some people staying in the rooms next to us, but we couldn’t even hear them that much and we had our own private bathroom which was much appreciated for this low price. The location is ok with a bus stop 10 minutes away that can get you easily to the subway.

The check in required three doors with a code for each, which made us feel safe and secure. It was within walking distance of several restaurants. The complimentary water was appreciated. Maybe a list of the restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance.

Clean room and restrooms, quiet stay with complete toiletries, mini fridge with complimentary water, ice trays and tv. It’s also cold with centralized AC with fan also inside the room, even though the pantry is shared it is peaceful and clean, can use the microwave. Overall is a great first time experience for us booking a room in a shared property 😊 Nothing. All good.
