Idéal pour nous qui recherchions un peu de repos, car il est situé sur les hauteurs, près de la plage, mais loin de la circulation et du bruit. J'aurais mis 10, s'il n'y avait pas eu ce ventilateur externe qui faisait du bruit la nuit dernière.

• Menno (8/5): Top gastvrijheid - De service en vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar en zijn moeder springen er echt uit. Ze zijn heel behulpzaam. Wij waren de enige gasten maar er werd toch een compleet ontbijtbuffet opgetuigd en de poolbar ging gewoon open als we er waren. Het complex ligt er piekfijn onderhouden bij, vooral zwembadgedeelte is mooi. Uitzicht vanaf de balkons is mooi. De kamers zijn basic maar hebben wel prima airco, gerenoveerde badkamer (wel wat klein) en zijn schoon. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is heel goed. De kamers zijn vrij basic en gehorig, bedden kunnen beter. De weg van en naar het centrum en strand is heel steil, goed voor de conditie…

• Ines (10/5): - Wir haben das Hotel Aretousa aufgrund der guten Bewertungen gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Lage oberhalb von Tolo ist wirklich toll – von unserem schönen Zimmer mit Balkon hatten wir einen herrlichen Meerblick. Man sollte allerdings gut zu Fuß sein, da das Hotel auf einer Anhöhe liegt. Das Zimmer war mit einer kleinen Küchenzeile ausgestattet, die alles bot, was man braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der schöne Pool mit Poolbar. Alles war tipptopp sauber. Ein großes Dankeschön an dich, lieber Vasilio, für deine Freundlichkeit – wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

• Andreas (10/5): Wunderschönes kleines Hotel mit Pool - Kleines, gemütliches und sehr sauberes Hotel, in dem die Betreiberfamilie dafür sorgt, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Das gesamte Personal ist freundlich und herzlich. Unser Doppelzimmer war ausreichend groß, der Balkon mit Tisch und 2 Stühlen bot eine unglaubliche Aussicht über die Bucht von Tolo. Das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr gründlich gereinigt. Die Küchenzeile hatte einen großen Kühlschrank, einen kleinen Herd mit 2 Platten und ein Spülbecken, war aber nicht unbedingt für das Kochen von Menus geeignet. Ein Wasserkocher war auch vorhanden. Am Pool fanden sich immer ausreichend Liegen. Die Poolbar bot kleine Snacks, Getränke und verschiedene Kaffeearten an (Frappe, Cappu freddo ...).  Die tolle Aussicht hat einen kleinen "Nachteil": Der Weg vom Strand zum Hotel ist für Ungeübte schon recht steil und anstrengend. Aber wir (schon etwas älter) betrachteten es als Training und nach 10 Tagen Aufenthalt machte uns der Anstieg nichts mehr aus. Viel wert sind die hoteleigenen Parkplätze hinter dem Hotel, von denen man direkt zum Zimmer gehen konnte. Kleiner Tipp: In der Nähe von Tolo gibt es viele schöne Strände, die auch Ende August nicht mehr überfüllt waren. Hierfür ist aber ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert. Da gibt es nichts!
• אלה-ela (10/5): - המלון מאד נוח. יש גישה עם הרכב עד החדר. החדרים פשוטים ומאד נקיים. המיטה מאד נוחה, מרפסת עם נוף לים. כיף אמיתי. מידי יום מנקים ומסדרים. ארוחת בקר בתשלום נוסף נהדרת. את כל המאפים מכינה אמא של ווסיליס מנהל/ בעל המלון. ווסיליס מקסים, נענה בחיוך לכל בקשה/שאלה. מאד נהננו המיקום על הגבעה. למי שלא בכושר העליה תהיה מאתגרת ברגל אבל אפשר להגיע עם האוטו לכל מקום ותמיד מצאנו חניה במרכז העיירה.

• Arie (9/5): Hotel, dorp en omgeving hadden alles te bieden wat ik leuk vind. - Fijn dat ontbijt vrijblijvend was. Je kon altijd aanschuiven wanneer je zin had. Ontbijt was zeer ruimhartig. Zwembad is fijn na dagje strand of sightseeing. Kamer comfortabel en balkon ruim. Het hotel ligt aan de Upper main road dat betekent naar winkelstraatje langs het strand moet je steil weggetje naar beneden en dus ook weer terug omhoog. Leuk haventje waar je bootjes kunt huren of een dagcruise kunt boeken naar de 2 eilanden Spetses en Hydra. Aan begin en einde van het dorp Tolo liggen ligt een heerlijk zandstrand. Tolo is een gezellig dorp en handige uitvalsbasis voor tripjes naar de bekende stadjes Nafplion, Epidaurus, Korinthië, Nemea, Mykynes en de hoofdstad Athene. Als je van archeologische vindplaatsen houdt dan is deze regio Argolis geweldig! Wat accommodatie betreft viel niks tegen. Alles kunnen ze voor je regelen. De schoonmaaksters komen iedere dag ook op zondag. Personeel en eigenaar zijn ontzettend aardig en beleefd. Wat tegenvalt is de loop naar beneden en weer naar boven van hotel naar dorp en andersom. Het is een afstand van niks maar wel erg steil.

• Alfredo (10/5): Entorno incomparable en un hotel tranquilo y a tu servicio. - La piscina, su ambiente y la atención del personal. La limpieza. No hacen las camas y no reponen el champú. La cocina es básica y el espacio para 4 muy reducido. Pero estas dos últimas cosas ya lo sabes cuando reservas. Calidad/precio. Excelente.
• carole (7/5): Bon séjour dans l’ensemble - L’extérieur avec la piscine et la vue de l’hôtel. C’était très propre. La cuisine très petite ainsi que la table pour manger. Le lit à ressorts peu confortable. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas inclus mais l’hôte nous avait dit que nous avions des petits déjeuners. Nous avons dû les régler à la fin du séjour.

A dieci minuti a piedi dal centro città e dal mare. Parcheggio privato gratuito molto utile perché in zona non si trova. Rampa del parcheggio molto ripida.

• Anthony (10/5): The most friendly hotel we've ever stayed. - Everything, especially the management and staff. There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. My only criticism would be the steepness of the hill walking up to the hotel.
• Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - Gem of a place, on top of a hill so the view is stunning. The walk into town is a bit steep, I have mobility issues but just took it slow and steady. To be honest i guess The walk helped me digest the wonderful food on offer in the town! If you have serious mobility I would suggest a car or cab. The staff were excellent, rooms very clean. I thank you from the bottom of my Heart for the stay! The pool is so refreshing I would recommend this hotel. Nothing that I didn't like.
• Yvonne (10/5): Book- It's the best kept secret in Tolo - The hotel facilities were great! But, what made this place extra special was the staff. They were amazing and took great care of my family!! The Aretousa had what many hotels lack- that personal touch. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. I look forward to returning. It is located at the top of quite a steep hill however, Tolo is hilly in general. But, the view from the pool and bar are magnificent!

• Phil (10/5): Perfect property in the most perfect location. - Just no matter the time of day we were always greeted with a warm genuine smile. The place is spotless - top to bottom. Rooms are spacious. Lovely views overlooking the town and sea below. Peaceful location. No silly morning towel ritual to get a spot by the pool. The hill is fun to come up - pretty sure we all have buns of steel now 😂

Very accommodating & friendly staff....beautiful view from our balcony....sufficient daily breakfast available...and gorgeous pool/bar area to relax and enjoy the views of this gorgeous little beach village, Tolo. Free parking, on site, a plus! Close to town, near great restaurants & shopping. Loved Johnny's Beach area, too. Would highly recommend!! Walkability to town was a little steep for us "old" folks; however, I wouldn't consider this a flaw. We were able to drive our car in to town, so it was NEVER really an issue.

• Ilir (10/5): Exceptional - The property is in a great location, offering a beautiful view of the sea and featuring a cozy pool with a bar where you can enjoy delicious cocktails. Everything was excellent, and my family and I had a wonderful experience. My only suggestion would be to note that the hotel is situated on a hill, so having a car would make it much easier to visit the beach and explore other nearby attractions.

• Spyridon (10/5): relaxing with a great view! - The hotel staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. The room was very very clean. We used the room kitchenette and it was ok. The pool bar prices were ok! The hotel is a 10 minute walk to Tolo’s Main Street. When returning it’s a bit “hilly”, so it’s better if you pass though the parking space of King Minos’ hotel. The bed could be more comfortable.
