- A. (9/5): Fantastisch! - Mooie en ruime accommodatie. Erg sfeervol. De keuken met de authentieke details vonden we fantastisch. Fijn om een parkeerplek in de straat te hebben. Goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Dartmoor NP.

- Christine (10/5): Excellent stay will be back - Beautifully decorated apartment. Large enough for a family of 4 All the rooms were lovely especially the living room
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Self catering and dog friendly. Massive bedrooms with options of twin or super king size bed. Beautifully designed. Amazing shower and bath facilities. Massive kitchen with basic needs Inc. Microwave, toaster cooker. Small garden area outside, let's dogs go out safely. Great shopping facilities in town and 2 minutes walk from station and walking on dartmoor. Only negative is parking due to being near station. Managed to get parked each time, but difficulty getting small children in and out of car seats as road so busy.

- Davies (10/5): Exceptional - I had a delightful stay at Fernworthy - my second time at the property. I stayed for a few days either side of New Year, visiting my son who lives in Okehamption. As before I found the property spotless and comfortable, and Chris had even put up a Christmas tree and some tasteful decorations throughout the apartment. Little touches like that make all the difference :^)
Chris is also communicative and friendly. Before my arrival, he let me know about a potential issue with one of the beds - but it was really just a warning, as he had it all sorted out by the time I arrived. As before, I can't really criticise. It's incredibly difficult to think of anything negative to say about the property. If I had to really nit-pick, the walk back to the apartment from town is up a pretty steep hill. That's not really an issue with the property itself, though, and is counterbalanced by the train station being just up the road, making day-trip access to Exeter incredibly easy.
- Lucy (10/5): A wonderful stay, great location and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend. - Great location, spacious and spotlessly clean
- Dormor (8/5): Very good -
- Jonathan (10/5): Excellent apartment in very convenient location. - Very spacious, clean and well equipped. A short walk to the station or up on the moor
- Davies (10/5): A clean, spacious, comfortable, modern and well-appointed property - highly recommended - The property is impressively sizable, and splendidly appointed. The beds were comfortable and my stay was frankly fantastic in every respect.
I booked for a long weekend to visit my son who lives in Okehampton (but in a single-room bedsit/studio apartment, so it isn't really practical to stay at his place). Booking Fernworthy meant he could stay with me instead and I could even cook for him while I was there! We had a great long weekend together - he got to show me around his adopted home town (Okehampton is lovely) and we spent the evenings chatting, making merry and listening to music/watching TV in this exceptionally comfortable apartment.
Bonus points also for having a decent Internet connection at the property. I clocked it at around 350mb/s, which is far better than I usually find at BnBs and rental properties like this.
I will certainly book Fernworthy again whenever I visit him - assuming I'm lucky enough to find dates when it's available. It's only a minor gripe, but I would have appreciated the kitchen having at least one larger casserole dish/pot to cook in. I didn't want to put the saucepans in the oven in case their handles weren't oven-friendly. Similarly, a large serving spoon would be handy (as opposed to just a ladel). However, I do appreciate that most guests probably won't be turning up with the intention of cooking their kid several days' worth of meals to freeze and take home - so I'm really only mentioning this because it's the only thing I can think of to place in the "down-side" category. It certainly doesn't impact my 10/10 rating.
