• Terrie (10/5): GIRONDA is a 10! Perfect in every way! Book early there are only 3 rooms each one special - All I can say was blown away! The room was just breathtaking stately and I loved waking up to fresco’s on the ceiling. We had the green room which was an Emerald color. The bed was so comfortable and the TV had Netflix available that we could watch in English a nice touch. They had an elliptical in the side room right before our bathroom entry. Also, a very nice touch. The bathroom was spectacular and the location perfecto.! The proprietor and the staff couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. I have to say this was probably one of my most favorite stays and there has been a lot of competition. GIRONDA stands out! Absolutely nothing!

• Andreas (10/5): Un piccolo albergo, ma veramente di classe! - La stanza piu bella mai avuto nella vita! Comoda, spaziosa, silenziosa di notte. La gentilezza del personale era eccezionale. Colazione dolce e salata servita in una bella sala con vista giardino. Albergo sul primo piano. Un ascensore c’è, ma non si puo usare da solo senza chiave. Per me andava bene, ma per le persone che fanno fatica salire le scale potrebbe esserci un problema.

• Agnès (9/5): Très jolie adresse réellement au coeur des sites touristiques de la ville - Lieu magnifique très bien situé, chambres extrêmement raffinées et spacieuses, rapport qualité/prix absolument imbattable compte-tenu de l'équipement des chambres ( mini-salle de yoga et mini-salle de sport privatifs ! ) Grande gentillesse du personnel, massages de grande qualité ! Calme absolu dans cette structure très intimiste ( il n'y a que trois chambres ! ), on se croirait à la maison d'autant plus que la cuisine est en libre accès si l'on souhaite grignoter ou se faire tous types de boissons chaudes, et de nombreux manuels d'art, d'histoire ... sont disponibles à la lecture ! Tout petit bémol, largement compensé par le reste, les petits déjeuner pourraient peut-être proposer plus de choix ( mets salés chauds )

• Kathleen (9/5): An Opulent Stay in the Heart of Ravenna - Gironda, set in Ravenna's centro storico, offers guests unique, conveniently located accommodation. The rooms have been lovingly restored and furnished to create an opulent experience. Our room had a private sauna and yoga room, two features most can agree are not the standard! Due to its location above a courtyard off the street, it was very quiet. There was free wifi and breakfast, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. The main piazza was steps away, and there were loads of dining and drinking options at your doorstep. As the hotel is in a historic building, there are some steps to go up/down to get to/from the elevator; those with mobility issues will want to take note. The lovely front desk team helped carry bags up and will surely assist others.

Our room (Gold) was beautiful and spacious (and cool in the heatwave!). Breakfast was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Attention to detail was evident throughout - fresh, beautiful flowers in our room and on our breakfast table, stylish crockery, beautiful linens... I could go on! Emanuela and Rico were charming, welcoming hosts, and helpful in making recommendations. We would love to return! Nothing!

• RAUL (10/5): - One of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in Italy, and for sure the best room I’ve ever stayed at. Gironda is as unique and authentic as it can be. I stayed at the Blue room and the perfect temperature and went to bed listening to classical music on a record player. Emanuela was a delight and helpful, I reccommend to live this experience. Looking forward to come back soon.

The property was clean and Emanuela was very friendly and helpful. The location is in the Centre and everything was within walking distance. I did not like the fact that I had to leave!

• Karen (10/5): Luxurious designer home with a welcoming host. - The hotel is an oasis in the town center. It’s close to everything. But once you are inside the big front door, you enter a tranquil world. You feel like a guest of a beautiful house. You can come back to take a rest during your stay. The house is so spacious. There is a lot of space to chill out, not just your room. It feels totally luxurious. It’s even better than how it looks on the photos. None.
• Mary (10/5): Heavenly stay in the heart of Ravenna. - Extraordinarily beautiful property, well decorated wonderful hosts next to the Piazza. Only three suites so you feel like you’re staying in someone’s home and the frescoes on the ceiling are exceptional. Everything about it was heavenly, although it should be noted that there is a half a staircase to get to the elevator.

The owner matched a well designed modern equipped style with keeping the spirit of the building as a unit. The owner Emanuela makes you feel from the first moment as a guest who is honestly welcomed at her place. Gironda is the dot on the I when visiting Ravenna. There is nothing to complain about😉

• Thomas (10/5): Very unique and excellent hospitality concept. - This is the most unique hotel I've stayed in, and also one of the best. It consists of three unique rooms in a historic palazzo, each with their own theme. We stayed in the "Gold" room, which includes a sauna and meditation room. The service and breakfast are excellent. The location is excellent as well, being next to Piazza del Popolo and this somewhat in the center of the historic UNESCO sites. I wouldn't change a thing.

Impeccable design, fantastically gorgeous furnishings and decor, building itself is perfectly restored. Lovely service. Could never imagine staying anywhere else in Ravenna. • Lilia (10/5): Fabulous! - Absolutely gorgeous 3 suite boutique hotel, housed in a beautifully renovated palazzo. There is a gold, blue and green room. We saw all 3 (in between cleans/checkins), but stayed in the stunning gold room The proprietor has thought of everything, quite literally, from amazing common areas with impeccable attention to detail (eg loose tea to make, different coffee machines for caff and decaff, water without gas and sparkling in the room, lit up makeup mirror sleekly hidden flat with the wall, which revealed eye masks and earplugs (not that one needs it in this super quiet area with windows in d'Oro gold room facing into medieval neighbouring buildings and garden. Beautifully restored freschi, painted 16th and 17th century ceilings, stunning homewares, bedlinen and towels. Books for one to read, honesty bar for cocktails & other nightcap options. Such a comfortable huge bed! Wonderful sauna and meditation/yoga room that Gold suite comes with, and small personal gym at both blue and green room. Usb ports, adaptors, they thought of everything! Cake and tea and coffee, nuts and fresh fruits, whenever you need them, in the huge kitchen adjacent to the commonpalatial dining room. The soul of the hotel, for us, was lovely Marco, who manages the place, checks you in etc. The most fun, passionate about this property front of house lead that any proprietor would want. He talks about the property and hotel with such sparkle in his eye, shows such warmth and kindness to the guests, the epitome of service - he makes it a joy to stay here. I would come to Ravenna just to stay here again, it is that good of a place. Lockable storage could be a nice addition (for later checkout/train later in the day situation. A few more hooks in the bathroom for bath robes, but everything else perfect
