• Angelique (10/5): Ocean view unforgettable break away. - It was a beautiful stay. A built in fireplace so we had a braai on the first evening. There is also an outside braai facility. Bedding was comfortable. A double bed in the one room and two single beds in the second room. Shower and toilet facilities were superb. One role of toilet paper was supplied. We brought extra as we read the reviews beforehand. We brought our own coffee, tea and sugar as we realised we booked for the accommodation and not a bed and breakfast. Lovely sea view and listening to the waves at night made it felt extra special. Towels and bedding were provided. Everything else you need is there. We took a chance but unfortunately no can opener was available. Would have packed but forgot in the end. Still a lovely stay. The owner gave us Mariana’s nr if we needed anything. The wifi connection was not working but it wasn’t a train smash. We were able to bring our little Jack Russell and that made it worth the trip. We enjoyed breakfast at The Anchorage restaurant. Friendly staff and they also have a pet friendly area. They had supplied dish washing liquid, cloths and two tablets for the laundry machine. There is a TV as well and if you bring along enough data to hotspot you could enjoy music via youtube or watch what you wanted. Check in and check out was easy. Finally being able to stay on the seafront felt like we went on holiday for two weeks instead of just the two days. We will definitely be back. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your holiday home. It was fantastic! Everything was better than expected! No complaints😊

• Sandlover (9/5): Modern, relaxing stay. - Great location. Everything you need. Main bed comfortable albeit a bit squeeky. Don't be fooled by the weird complex the house is in. It is a great place. We will definately return. The bush in front blocked the spectacular view. ☺:)

• Ciskia (8/5): It really felt like we could relax and recharge. - We loved the location and the view from the property. The option to braai both inside and outside made our stay more enjoyable on days when it was too windy to braai outside.

• Veronica (8/5): Enjoyable and relaxing. - Location and neat interior. WiFi access. Front door couldn't lock. Could not use TV without own access. No ice trays. Outside braai had no levels to adjust grid.
• Visser (9/5): Perfect family getaway. - The decor was perfect and thought-out. We had an amazing stay, and the size was perfect for our family of four. I especially appreciated the stocked kitchen tools and utensils which can lack at some rentals. There were also extra towels, including beach towels - bonus! The Neighbours were friendly and overall welcoming feel in Duinepark. The shower is a bit tricky to navigate at first, but by day 2 got the hang of it.

All of the necessary amenities provided. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the shower was a bit finicky.

• Mariëtte (7/5): Nice place, just sort out as mentioned - Good location. Cosy cottage. Front stoep was not cleaned. Shower warm and cold water difficult to adjust to right temperature. Nicer towels would have been nice, ie a bath towel and facial towel of a better standard. Plumbing very noisy when using shower. Person suppose to met us on arrival, not at all friendly when we had a problem with unlocking the door.

• Gabriel (8/5): Great for a summer holiday - Great location for a summer holiday. Cottage is small but well equipped. We stayed over a cold & rainy weekend. Living area is freezing. Bed rooms have heaters but living area is freezing when it's cold weather
• Liesl (8/5): Perfect couples getaway in Witsand. - Gorgeous cottage with a superb outdoor entertainment area and a sea view. Beds were comfy and beautifully appointed. Shower was an issue as it was determined to only supply scalding hot water or icy cold water. Nothing that can't be fixed though.

• Natalie (7/5): Good - Close access to the sea and tidal pool. Unfortunately it was raining our entire stay, which is not their fault, so it did put a damper on our stay. Check-in was seamless. There is a damp problem, rain dripping from windows. Internet was a bit erratic. A little too close to neighbors. Shower was not great...either cold or too hot.

• Stijn (9/5): Lovely - Off the beaten track, you could say, but easily accessible as well. Charming little cottage right at the ocean. The relaxing sounds, the view and at night, that starry sky and the milky way.
• Enid (7/5): Pleasant stay for a 1-nighter but the house is in need of some TLC... - Proximity to beach. Clean and neat house. Lovely big patio area in front of living area. Very quiet which was fabulous! Comfortable furniture in lounge and dining area. Would be nice if the vegetation in front of the house could be trimmed to allow a view of the sea whilst sitting outside on the patio area. Broken wooden windows. Old and in need of a clean curtains. Shower - difficult to get correct temperature (either too hot or cold).

• Andreas (10/5): Exceptional - The view from the living room/Kitchen is just stunning. Whale watching from the breakfast table was quite an experience. There is also a little terrace with view of the ocean, but was too windy during our stay. From the compound you can do fabulous walks on the beach. A very good restaurant (Anchorage) is in walking distance. We had a very enjoyable stay. We stayed here twice. At the first stay the handover of keys did not work as expected, but they came fast anyway. Also the dustbin was not emptied after the previous guests. But apart from that, everything was perfect.

• Nol (9/5): Uniek location with all the comfort you need - The location! And the cabin has all you need to have a pleasant stay. Beds are good, kitchen has all you need. Comfortable couch and outdoor seats and tables. Good wifi and fireplace which we didn’t use. Outdoor grill. The water pressure in the shower needs some improvement

• Annelien (8/5): Cozy cottage with view - Easy access onto the beach. Beautiful sunrise and views over the ocean. It's a small cozy little cottage, but it is very neat and well stocked with cutlery, glasses, plates and pots etc. Very safe for children. Pet friendly... Small patch of grass for dogs, but lots of space to go for walks. Small maintenance issues for example the main room sliding door was not working. The patch of grass is not fenced.

• Paul (9/5): Superb - Location. The cottage is set in a safe area within a short walk or drive to beach. Lovely views. On either side the neighbours' windows are within 1m to 2m of the boundary and on both sides they overlook the bbq/outside patio area so not much privacy outside.
