• Jackie (10/5): A very relaxing few days in a beautiful property - We have been visiting Lyme Regis for over 40 years and Conifers is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. Our room and ensuite were very spacious and both were immaculate. It is very peaceful, good parking and well located for Lyme Regis town centre and the surrounding area. Tina was very friendly and welcoming and was always on hand with any recommendations. Would highly recommend. Nothing - everything was perfect

The gardens and sea views towards Lyme Regis are breathtaking. We really like the architectural design of Conifers and we look forward to coming back for a longer stay. Nothing we did not like.

The owner was so lovely, helpful & informative. The location was perfect for our day of fossil hunting. You won't be disappointed booking Conifers. It really is a top end property / room to stay. We only stayed 1 night but we will certainly stay there next time we go to Lyme Regis. One of the best places we've ever stayed in. We've travelled all across Europe and this really is one of the best, if not THE best !!! Parking was also free, (right outside our room) parking is important for us as we normally travel by car. Cannot recommend Conifers enough, thank you for a wonderful evening.

Tina our hostess was friendly and accommodating. The property is a good 20min walk into Lyme Regis though we drove in and parked in one of the many car parks. A later check out maybe

• Glen (10/5): An exceptional experience. - Everything about the accommodation was perfect and the hosts truly lovely people. They even took care to ensure my motorcycle was safely parked under cover. My room was absolutely spotless, really nicely furnished, very comfortable and equipped, the bed lovely and the room very quiet. Couldn’t ask for more. The entire building is rather impressive. The recommendation I received based on their local knowledge for dinner was spot on. I’d accidentally left something behind, and was very soon after leaving contacted and able to return to collect it. A big thank you! Thoroughly recommended. Nothing - All perfect.
• Alexander (10/5): Our first stay in Lyme Regis and at Conifers was thoroughly enjoyable. A very friendly and helpful welcome from the host - This newly built property is spacious, very comfortable and immaculately maintained. The rooms are fresh, quiet and enjoy views of the garden and/or the distant coastline. Easy to locate and safe parking. A comfortable guest lounge and patio space. The walk into Lyme Regis is downhill but the return uphill is quite challenging. Car parking in the town is free after 18:00 which we found useful.

Lovely hosts with extensive knowledge of the area. Bright, spacious and comfortable room, immaculately clean. Lovely sunny terrace with beautiful sea views. Great parking and location, only a short walk into the town centre via steps/footpath to the sea (or pavement along the main road).

The whole atmosphere was lovely, and was of a very high standard. Brilliant few days! It would have been nice to have breakfast provided but the rest of the experience certainly made up for that.

• Slawomir (10/5): Excellent place to stay. - Excellent service and a very clean and comfortable room with everything new. The location is about a few hundred yards from the sea side, close to the city centre.
• Paul (10/5): In a word relaxing. Quiet at night, no stresses at all. - The room was soo clean, in fact the whole place was to a high standard of cleanliness. Tina and Mike the hosts were lovely. Tina gave good advice of where to eat, where to go etc. A lovely bubbly lady. Maybe a microwave in the lounge. I chatted to Tina about food etc and i do understand how in the past in previous B&B places she has provided breakfast but now has hung up her frying pan. You can take your own cereal etc though.

• Charlotte (10/5): Homely and beautifully maintained accommodation with incredibly accommodating and friendly hosts - Warm, welcoming space which was very much appreciated on the rainy days! Lovely hosts who had thought of every detail to make the stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We were given lots of recommendations for sights to see, walking trails, restaurants etc. and enjoyed the shared living space, that made the space feel extra homely, to play some of the many games provided. Bed was very comfy, the whole space was spotless and bathroom and shower water pressure were excellent. Nothing!

• Stephen (10/5): - This was our second stay at The Conifers. The property is conveniently located on a quiet street off one of the main roads into Lyme. There is plenty of parking, the room was spacious, well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Tina is a welcoming and friendly host.

The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and a great powerful walk-in shower, and the shared lounge and outdoor seating area are a great place to sit and relax or chat with the hosts and other guest's. Great access to the town and beach within walking distance downhill or there is a bus stop at the end of the close or a park and ride just around the corner. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. We will be returning. Leaving

The room was so clean, modern with good quality linen which I appreciate. The views from the terrace are also so beautiful. Also fresh milk for a coffee. Great value foe money. One of the best place to stay. Thank you Tina The only bad point is i didn’t book to stay longer.

• Gregg (9/5): - The location is near top of the hill, however this does give the location a great view into Lyme. It’s a very modern building, that’s clean, spacious, airy and safe.
• Gary (9/5): A great place to stay in Lyme Regis - Really excellent place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation with great facilities. Tina was a lovely, obliging and extremely helpful hostess. Walking back from Lyme Regis would have been a long climb up a steep hill. Fortunately there was a good local bus service.

I think I prefer a more traditional self catering set up but the Conifers provides fresh milk, tea and coffee plus communal space to bring and eat your own breakfast.

• Geoffrey (10/5): Overall we had a nice stay and revisited the area that we had not visited many years. - The Breakfast was not included but facilities were available for your own with fresh milk supplied and crockery etc. which suits us us as we always prefer not to have full breakfast. It would be difficult to find fault as a great deal of thought has been put into all aspects of the accommodation and the warm friendly welcome we received.

• Clare (10/5): A real gem - What an amazing find for exploring. Right by Lyme Regis but also a verys short drive to the lovely bay in SeaTown and West Bay. The room was marvelous and the house it is in is beautiful, like something off Grand Designs. The owner is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back.
