- Patricia (8/5): We’d recommend this property for its location, facilities and comfort - Property was spotless, location was excellent. Always hot water. Comfortable beds. Very quiet at night. Outside area overlooking water great for relaxing with a drink. Although we were only a couple, property would have worked well for a family, with plenty of bedrooms and two bathrooms. TV remote control was faulty. Very fiddly trying to operate channels with it as it kept skipping. Someone had set a reminder which we were unable to cancel and so the channels kept changing every few minutes. Resorted to watching on iPad. A couple of more bowls for use in microwave would have been useful.
- Carol (9/5): Great place to stay - Location was lovely and had everything we needed. Squeaky floorboards on 1st and 2nd floors, leaky shower on 2nd floor
- Irene (10/5): Fantastic - Location was wonderful, house was lovely and clean, beds comfortable, everything we needed.will be back . Nothing
- Swainbank (6/5): A nice house but could be better! - The location of the property was great and it was clean and tidy. We were warned prior to our arrival that the car park was flooded, we weren't informed that the whole road was under water.
It seems that there's squeaky floorboards in every room which isn't great at night.
There is a plumbing issue with the shower on the 2nd floor, if you're in the first floor front bedroom there's the sound of constant dripping for around 30 minutes after someone has had a shower above you.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Malcolm (8/5): Good location. Well equipped house. - Well equipped kitchen. Outside seating area by the waterside Sofas in lounge were not very comfy
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Only 5 minutes from shops and cafes Nothing
- Rob (7/5): Family break - Good location near town and the river.
Quiet road.
Good kitchen facilities
Allocated parking space Vanity unit In double room not usable when seated, as mirror too high ,also there is no electric socket nearby for hairdryer use.
Lack of sockets in bedrooms..
Intermittent pump noise from first-floor toilet, including during the night, when not in use.
- Jayne (9/5): Great stay at this lovely house, would definitely stay again. - Location is excellent and the house is very well equipped & comfortable. The noise from the building site opposite but that was unavoidable.
- Robert (10/5): Great place to stay - Very clean, located right next to the water.
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Lynne (10/5): Vety enjoyable - It was clean and tidy. Liked that it looked out onto the water and boats. No one contacted us to let us know the key code prior to our arrival, we had to message and then ring to obtain it.
- Gary (10/5): fantastic - great little house with parking and mooring
excellent location being only minutes from town nothing
- Glenn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danyell963 (10/5): Perfect Bank Holiday Break - We loved every minute of our short break at this property. No one wanted to go home and get back to reality!
This property is in a perfect location. The Norfolk Broads are just off the back doorstep! We were tucked away from the main road just enough for it to be quiet and peaceful but just a five minute walk away from the local pub, shops, and places to eat. The nearest train station is only a 10 minute walk away, and we were able to pop into Norwich for the day easily.
We had everything we could have needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils and pots and pans that we needed. The beds all had warm quilts and a throw for extra comfort. Everything was clean and in great working order. It really managed to feel like a home away from home. The decking overlooking the water was a lovely little spot for a cup of tea in the morning!
This place was amazing value for money. The property can sleep six. We only booked for three, and yet the price per person was still better than many alternative smaller properties that we had looked at for our short break.
Very grateful to the host! We had a lovely time and already plan to rebook in the future! We didn't find any issues during our stay!
