• Kyriakos (10/5): Καταλύματα σαν την Locanta, μετατρέπουν την απλή διαμονή σε ευχάριστη εμπειρία. - Αρχοντικά ρομαντικός ή ρομαντικά αρχοντικός, δεν έχω καταλήξει, η Locanta κρύβει μεσα της κάτι και από τις δύο έννοιες. Ένας υπέροχος χώρος, όμορφος, αρωματικός, γαλήνιος, ρομαντικός, αρχοντικός! Πεντακάθαρος ακόμη και σε σημεία που δεν το περίμενα. Με τοποθεσία εντός του κάστρου και δίπλα ακριβώς απο το τείχος του, οι διάφορες πύλες περιμένουν να σε οδηγήσουν τόσο στην ομορφιά της λίμνης όσο και στην ομορφιά της παλιάς πόλης. Η οικοδέσποινα μας μας άφησε τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις. Ευγενική, φιλική, εξυπηρετική, διακριτική, πάντα διαθέσιμη για οτιδήποτε χρειαστεί. Πέγκυ, μοναδική μας αγάπη, εις το επανιδείν..! Στην διήμερη διαμονή μας δεν βρέθηκε κάτι αρνητικό, μας άρεσαν όλα!

• Anastasia (9/5): A beautiful and central accommodation - The accommodation was so nicely decorated and so well equipped. Very clean space with character, and great for even 4 people. The style is unique, the location is very central and the host is very thoughtful. We had water, a wine bottle, small breakfast elements and coffee. For winter it can get a bit chilly but there is air-conditioning in every room that can be used.
• Moriya (10/5): - מושלם!!!! ישר להזמין! דירה ממש ענקית! שני חדרי שינה זוגיים גדולים ומפנקים. סלון, פינת אוכל ומטבח גדול ומאובזר ביותר. שירותים ומקלחת ואמבטיה חצר קידמית ואחורית פרטית ונפרדת. הדירה בתוך העיר העתיקה ונמצאת צמוד לשער יציאה רגלית לטיילת יש חניה צמודה ונוחה. יש מפתח ידני נוסף לשבת. במטבח- מקרר גדול, תנור, כיריים גדולים. חסר מכונת כביסה ושירותים ןמקלחת רחוקים מהחדר.

The host gives great care to details: there was cake and croissants for breakfast, coloring kits for the kids. she also gave us great tips to discover the city and surrounding area, including excellent restaurants Everything was great

The host was available, kind, and answered every question we had. I highly recommend it. We will definitely come back again.

• Theodore (9/5): - Πανέμορφο κατάλυμα, σε κεντρικό σημείο, με άνετους χώρους για μία τετραμελή οικογένεια. Ο χώρος έχει όμορφη διακόσμηση και εργονομικά σχεδιασμένα δωμάτια, που προσφέρουν άνεση στον επισκέπτη. Χρειάζεται προσοχή με το ζεστό νερό, διότι η θερμοκρασία είναι υψηλή και μπορεί εύκολα κάποιος να πάθει έγκαυμα. Επίσης στο ντουζ θα ήταν καλό να βελτιωθεί το σύστημα απομάκρυνσης του νερού, έτσι ώστε να μην συσσωρεύονται το νερό μαζί με τις σαπουνάδες, δίνοντας την αίσθηση ότι το σιφόνι επιστρέφει βρόμικο νερό.

• maoz (10/5): - מיקום מושלם בתוך העיר העתיקה של יואנינה. מרחק הליכה מהמצודה מהטיילת ליד האגם. חניה יש ממש סמוך לדירה (בחינם) דירה מקסימה, מעוצבת בטוב טעם. מאובזרת בכל מה שצריך. ריח טוב של ניקיון כשנכנסים מזגן בכל חדר או חלל בנפרד. מקלחון + אמבט עם שמפו ותחליב רחצה. שירותים אחד יציאה אחורית לגינה מתוקה עם שולחן אוכל. שהינו בדירה זוג +2 לכל זוג היה חדר שינה מרווח, מיטה זוגית מאוד נוחה, כריות נוחות , מצעים ומגבות שמריחים טוב. בחלל המשותף סלון נוח עם טלוויזיה חכמה שולחן אוכל גדול ונעים מטבח מאובזר בעלת הבית היתה זמינה לכל שאלה כמו כן היו בדירה פינוקים כמו בקבוק יין, לחם, חטיפי אנרגיה, לחם וכו' ולצידם פתקים קטנים ומתוקים עם כרטיס תודה שבחרנו בה (חימם את הלב) הכל מושלם אך היה נחמד אם היתה ארונית או מדפים בחדרי השינה לשים בגדים במקום שיהיו במזוודה במהלך השהייה כמו כן , כדאי לקחת בחשבון שעם רכב גדול קשה להתנייד שם כי הסמטאות לדירה צרות .

The best place in Ioanina - Locanta is the perfect place to stay in Ionanina: The location cannot be beat, you can walk to the museums, the waterfront, the ferry and many restaurants. (Just use the parking pass the host provides) The place is very clean, well decorated and comfortable. The 2 bedrooms are great for sleeping, and 1 person could even use the sofa. Initial items are provided, which made it easy for breakfast the first morning. The host is very friendly, communicative and easy going. The beds are comfortable and the AC works perfectly. The place is like new, well appointed. Just watch your head as it is low in 1 spot. No problem. The bathroom is good, the bath nice. The house is very quiet, you can get a good night sleep. We highly recommend this place as the best place in Ioannina. Actually there is nothing we did not like. This place is really good.

This is really should be a ‘ten’ rated house, but a couple of niggles: No washing machine nor anywhere to dry clothes. A shower with no wall mount, and a shower screen which is so small….it is all but impossible not to wet the bathroom floor. There are a couple of VERY low doorways: the addition of a rope or equal cushion might reduce the number of headaches! These are intended more as helpful advice…for it is a wonderful house, thank you!

• Laura (10/5): Perfection! From the hosts to location to facilities and decor…Locanta is fantastic! - Locanta villa decor is both calming & charming with a modern, minimalistic twist. We found it to be immaculately clean & tidy and the beds were so comfortable and dreamily soft! Our favourite feature was the luxurious corner bath… It is situated perfectly within the castle grounds close to areas of interest (within 1 min walk of the lake!) and local bars and restaurants. Our hosts were responsive, friendly & professional. Can’t rate Locanta higher and will certainly be back!

Fantastic location, a house with everything you need on vacation with the family, close to everywhere (we didn't move the car within the city), excellent location for sightseeing for those who don't want to move apartments in the villages every day. The host Peggy is simply amazing and considerate, she was interested in our well-being during our stay, fulfilled every request with joy (we received a Shabbat key instead of a smart card), in short we would love to stay there again.

Unfortunately the couch was very uncomfortable. We also couldn’t find tea towels and didn’t have a small clothes line for washing some clothes. Those would have been really helpful to have during a longer stay.

The thought that had gone into the furnishings and decor was so so nice (small Christmas decorating touches too which was lovely!). Very comfortable beds, high quality bed linen and quilts, and air con in every room, including the bathroom, so we felt snug and warm throughout the property. Had a great kitchen too which would be perfect for a longer stay but we only stayed one night. Right inside the castle walls with parking nearby and restaurants and bars a 5 minute walk away. Nothing!

The house is in a really quiet area inside the castle walls (the road outside is pedestrian only) in between the two castles. There is a gate that leads to the lake about 20 metres away.

• Daniel (10/5): Our family of 5 loved Locanta. Didn't want to leave :) - Locanta was amazing for our family. Peggy, the host, met us on arrival, even though it was late at night. It was easy to check in and out. The house is beautiful, outside there is a private front and back yard. The bedrooms were great and the decor was rustic, very charming. We loved the bathroom the best - a huge bath and great shower. The ouzo and biscuits and bread were a great welcome. The location- couldn't be better - right inside the grounds of the Ioaninna castle.
