Guest Reviews
- Jessica (10/5): Fantastic weekend away! - The hosts were very accommodating. They always responded to any questions we had promptly. The house was fantastic, nice and large for the group that we had staying there. The garden was well maintained, and we were able to play a soccer match in the yard. Fantastic views of the Grampians. Vineyard was right next door, however unfortunately we didn’t get to experience it as they were closed for renovations. You really knew you were in the country from the sheep and rooster noises :). The doors could use some WD40, they were a little creaky which was noisy during the night. The water pressure wasn’t amazing. These are things if I was knit picking!
- Sandy O (10/5): You can't do better than this beautiful house and spectacular view. - The view was spectacular and we enjoyed the serene setting. The house was comfortable with all the modern conveniences and plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the inside of the house was lovely and clean. The host was happy to be contacted about anything. The instructions for leaving the property were different in the onsite book and email. The front porch chairs and windows could do with a little TLC.
- Kathleen (8/5): Great location, comfortable & will return. - Living areas were spacious & comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped & appliances spotless. Beds very comfortable. Fully fenced for the fur baby ! Small insects able to get in through the fly wire screens. Had to spray bedroom - tho I did leave small light on as hallway dark.
- Simon (10/5): Perfect place for a group stay. - One of the best presented properties I have stayed at. Very clean and well appointed - also well laid out for a large group. Nothing really. There were a couple of things missing from the kitchen but really minor issue.
- Stephanie (10/5): Great place to visit - Amazing house and quiet Beds were too soft
- Louise (9/5): Great location, lots of room - Lots to love: The location - lovely views to the Grampians and only 10 minutes’ drive to Hall’s Gap. The Pomonal local store had great coffee and local produce (Blue Wren bakery bread in stock if you’re lucky) and we had an enjoyable lunch at the winery next door. The house was clean, well stocked and spacious - more than enough room for 5 adults with a bedroom to spare. The owners were friendly and responsive and quickly sorted out a few glitches. The evap cooling kept it comfortable on hot days and wifi was fine. Pet friendly with a fenced yard. Kangaroo visitors sunrise and sunset. Just a few minor things. Perhaps some more comfortable furniture in outdoor spaces/balcony would make it more appealing to sit outside. Verandah room slatted windows could do with a cobweb clean to show off the amazing view. Bedroom TVs mostly didn’t work: some remotes missing/ not compatible, one had sound but showed an error screen... We gave up trying to sort them out and did without them - not a big issue.

- Hollie (10/5): Fantastic stay! - Everything!
- Philip (10/5): Beautifully appointed very well kept with lots of space and gorgeous views - Excellent Quiet surrounds beautiful views of Grampians Water pressure

- Kerry (10/5): Excellent - Clean, comfortable, functional, perfect yard for dog Nothing
- Christine (9/5): - The hosts were very helpful and quick to reply to our little issue.. which is just us city folk being uneducated.. the house was beautiful and surrounds were just lovely. So quiet.. and a resident wedged tail eagle that visited every morning. We managed to sit outside and have a fire in the outside fire pit which was fantastic. We loved every moment. Not too far from halls gap too! And may I suggest you go to Barney’s bar around the corner.. that was fantastic! Great service. Great people. Wish it was down here in Mornington so we could keep going!!
Great holiday to had 😃😃
- Tomasz (10/5): Nice place to stay - great location N?A
- Elaine (9/5): Perfect location, secure, light and inviting - Location
Facilities
Cleanliness
Everything was great Remote for gate and roller door didn’t work.
Second key would have been a handy option
- Calum (8/5): very enjoyable would definitely come again - The enclosed area for our dog to run around safely in. The beds were creaking and too soft , there were no remotes for the tv's in the bedrooms
- Maria (10/5): Amazing experience, first time I felt home and relaxed. - Everything is beautiful. Amazing place, we felt like home. Except for the bed in the bedroom close to the first toilet, where the bed has screeching sound when moving in the bed, one of the three couples had difficulty sleeping on the first night. If that bed be fixed, everything is perfect.
- Lynne (8/5): Serenity - Perfect location, all we needed and lots more. Have already passed this property onto friends and family travelling to the area and looking for accommodation,
Very happy
- Stephanie (8/5): -
- Kerrie-Anne (9/5): Lovely stay in the country - Lovely home in a wonderful quiet location. Plenty of room if you’re there with the family but we were just as comfortable on a couples getaway. .
- Mark (10/5): Excellent. Wonderful getaway for family - Mountain views, seeing sheep and kangaroos large block of land fir kids to play. Spacious rooms and clean. House had everything Oven was a bit tricky to figure out.
- Adheesha (10/5): -

- Gondar (10/5): Great weekend away for a girls weekend. - It was nice and secluded but still close to everything we wanted to do. The house was beautiful and amazing. So close to Pomonal estate. Everything was easy and accessible.
- Bryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reddy (10/5): Exceptional - It was so good mainly the ambience was crazy and very aesthetic
- Cheryl (9/5): Plenty of room inside and out, clean and cosy. - We were very happy with the location. Even though we were 10klms from Halls Gap this suited us. Plenty of room for our dog to play out of doors and be safe.
The house had everything we needed. Loved the lounge room, and the beautiful windows through the house. We needed Fly Spray .
- Mattia (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (10/5): On the doorstep of the Grampians, a very comfortable family stay. - A fabulous 4 nights with the teens. Fantastic indoors and outdoors. The Cavoodle dog especially happy. So close to Halls Gap and Grampians day hikes.
- Paul (9/5): Step back in time with this beauty, quiet, welcoming, neat, cute & comfortable - Lovely house, nice quiet location, short drive to Halls Gap, winery next door, very comfortable
- Anne (10/5): private and peaceful - A great location close to the Grampians with beautiful views of the national park and surrounding rural landscape. Well appointed kitchen with everything we needed and the house was spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable and cosy. Good fencing for dogs. We will stay here again.
- Alan (8/5): A pleasant stay and nice to sit on the veranda and enjoy the sunset - Location was good and there were lots of facilities House was clean and neat but we tended to prefer the conservatory which could do with a good clean, especially the windows. We couldn’t get the hob to work despite checking the instructions and contacting the hosts.
- Jiawei (9/5): A wonderful stay in here. This is a great choice for a group trip to the Grampians National Park. - A good location with beautiful garden. We meet a kangaroo in the garden, so cute. The kitchen and bathrooms are very clean. The wifi connection in bedrooms is not very strong.
- Seg (9/5): Superb - Beautiful place and was exactly as pictured with an amazing view. The old books and other items within the house add to the extra charm of the place making the experience even more enjoyable. The door to the bedroom hallway creeks a bit, thus personally would have preferred for this to be an open entrance however I understand its part of the house design.
- Marcia (10/5): A stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings! - Lallibroch is a stunning home that has been beautifully decorated with special little touches. The host has thought of everything that you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The home has picturesque views of the mountains and is situated next to a winery. It is a perfect getaway with peaceful surroundings and wildlife. The only thing I didn’t like was that a weekend wasn’t long enough!
- Siobhan (10/5): Blissful home - There was absolutely everything we could have possibly needed in the house plus the location was spectacular with very handy drive to the zoo and Halls Gap. Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had all the basics and some. Would definitely book again, thanks
- Ganna (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Ros (10/5): Great accommodation, want to return. - Great location. Very handy to Pomonal Estate. Fantastic Views. Great heating. Space for the dog and secure fencimg. Nothing
- Debra (10/5): Excellent communication with host, well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. -
- Carole (9/5): Superb - Spacious and clean property. Close to points of interest. Safe and secure for the doggies and lots of gardens for them to explore. Great to have the herb garden so close as we cooked every night during our 3 night stay. Loved everything Struggling to think of anything to be honest
- Dhillon (10/5): Awesum - Cleanliness, view, house, amenities,,, everything Nothing to say

- Vivienne (9/5): Relaxed country stay. - Everything you need to relax. Nice and quiet. I had to ring twice to get details of how to get in to the property.
- Amanda (9/5): Very relaxing place with amazing views of the Grampians - It was right next door to a winery which we didn't go to but if stayed longer would have. It had a great General Store very ecclectic but seriously good produce and coffee. Was very peaceful and relaxing views of the Grampians superb. A short drive to Halls Gap if you want to do some hiking or cafes. All good
- Geoffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (9/5): Our family wants to go back every year! - The well equiped house is spacious for families with 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property has a fully enclosed yard which was wonderful for our 2 dogs. The The views of the Grampians are lovely. The open fire place outside was really great to sit by with a glass of wine. The oven didn’t work and is overly complicated. However, the owner was lovely and very receptive to my feedback .
- Andrew (9/5): Great stay with the family. - Great facilities with lots of space for our family of 7 plus dogs. Short walk into neighboring winery with good food and vibe Nothing significant
