- Darius (9/5): This was one of most favorite places to stay during our road trip. The close proximity to the beachfront made our stay m - We really enjoyed the location of this property being right up against the water. Our host was very nice and accommodating to our various requests. The included breakfast was also a great addition to start off each morning. The bathroom facilities were somewhat dated but still very clean.

- Jürgen (9/5): Schönes Zimmer in ruhiger Lage am Meer. - Lonkot ist ein Einzelgehöft nördlich von Hofsos. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Aussicht aufs Meer. Sehr bequemes Bett. Julia, die Eignerin war sehr engagiert und warmherzig. Morgens gab es ein reichhaltiges Frühstück.
- Kirsten (10/5): A gem in the north coast of Iceland. - A gem of a place to stay. Great location on the water. We awoke to whales, dolphins and a pup seal and mom. The beds were comfortable and the rooms nicely decorated. The host was kind and took time to tell us about the area. Breakfast was good assortment. Would highly recommend and hope to be able to visit again.

- Marcin Zemanek (10/5): Great place close to nature - Great place! Wonderful location 50 meters from the ocean, a quiet and peaceful place where you can feel close to nature. - Sigurður (8/5): Gaman að gista í fyrrum fjárhúsi og fá morgunmat í fjósinu. Yndislegt að vera í ró og næði í náttúru - Fínn morgunverður og huggulega fram borinn. Okkur líkaði svo vel hvað var stutt niður að sjó og friðsælt og gott að vera í Lónkoti.
- Charlene (10/5): Wonderful, book it. - A lovely selection of food for breakfast. The owner made us fresh expresso and chatted with us about our travels. This was such a wonderful place to rest and reset, the beautiful view, the clean and tasteful design of the rooms. I have already recommended this to others. Staying in Lonkot and visiting Hofsos Emigration Museum was on of the highlights of our 2 week trip. I highly recommend booking this wonderful retreat. There was nothing we didn't like.

The views are breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable and the room beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We very much enjoyed our stay!
