- Adja Ndeye Bineta Samb (4/5): A deception I wish I will never have again in my life - Only the fact that the property is near bus station First of all I loose like 1hour to find the bedroom keys, no video showing how to open the box where the host put them. At the night the other customers were making noise, high volume of music, running and laughing until 5 AM like there were at their own home. A lost night cause I did not sleep hole night and that gave me serious headache. Trying to tell to the host and say that if it is how they work im gonna find somewhere to spend the next night, she sends me the person who clean bedrooms to take me out then she can clean for new customers. It was a very big deception

Nonostante diversi messaggi inviati, non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna informazione per il check-in. All’arrivo, nessuno ci ha accolti e non c’erano indicazioni su come accedere. Questo comportamento è inaccettabile e ha causato un grave disagio, costringendoci a cercare un’altra sistemazione all’ultimo momento. Esperienza estremamente negativa: sconsigliamo vivamente

- Kikiopoulou (4/5): Deeply disappointed ! - I liked the fact that it was clean (although the bathroom bin didn’t have a plastic bag), also I think that it was comfortable enough for one night, though there wasn’t a tv or anything actually besides a bed and a bathroom. I really didn’t appreciate the fact that no one informed me that the house was right next to a strip club because if I was travelling with kids I think that it’s something very important to know. Also the neighbourhood wasn’t quiet at all, the were people shouting and singing all night long. It was really hard to get to the house using the metro. We had to walk a really long distance and we had no other way to get there besides calling a super expensive uber. Also in comparison with other houses I have visited the only thing that was offered was two bottles of warm water (it was really hot outside) and two espresso capsules.

- Mārtiņš (4/5): Disappointing - It was clean and not far from our destination. Our double room was changed without prior notice, which was disappointing. The bed was also not very comfortable. If you’re planning to stay over the weekend, be sure to bring earplugs—the nearby club can be quite loud.

- Victoria (8/5): I can still recommend it for a short stay. - The property was okay, very clean which is a big plus. The location is not too far from the Milan city center, the tram stop was 5 minutes walk away from the place. There was a couple of cafes to have breakfast. Unfortunately, we received a different room from what I booked. There was supposed to be 2 sleeping places and we got 1 king size bed… it’s not a problem when you are traveling with a friend, but they shouldn’t just change it for no reason like that. The window was broken in Room 2 and we spent 3 nights in a stuffed room with no ventilation. When I asked the owner to fix it, she said it’s not possible. The soap was not there as it is in the description. There were ants…

- Hjördís (4/5): Not recommended 🥺 - I can unfortunately not recommend this place to anyone. On our way from the airport we got information from the owner through whats app about the city tax and that we were supposed to leave it on the counter when we left. The amount she wrote was much higher than the info on booking.com said. We looked it up on the Milano official site and it turned out to be truly higher than the booking site said, but still less than the owner said. We sent her message about it and then she said that she had made “a mistake” and we said ok that is fine, we will pay what is right. Then she started texting us about that we payed a lot less for the room than she usually asks for (we just paid what booking asked us to pay) and she sounded like she was not happy about it. When we came to the place we were supposed to call her and we did, she had some woman come from inside of the house to collect the tax money because she wanted it straight away, sounded like she did not trust us any more. That woman was calm and polite and went some where inside to get change to give us, and in the meantime the owner called me several times and shouted at me that if I did not pay the city tax I would not get the code to the key box and could not stay in the room. Usually I never get pissed off but this time I lost my patience and let my husband take call number 4, and by then she had learned that we had actually paid in full and we finally got the code to the key box. Air-conditioning in the room offers either 30 degrees heat or no heat/cold at all. Tried to set it on 10 degrees and the heat was on full blast a short time after that…. So no use of that air conditioning. Sun shines through two big windows in the morning and we woke up around 9 like two boiled eggs, and no possibility to open either window as one handle was broken and no handle on the other one….

- Wendy (2/5): Bad experience - The room was big The accommodation is next to a strip club that is running loud music until very late. The bathroom in the room is big and gorgeous, but completely unusable bc the water doesn't stay the same temperature and goes from very hot to very cold every half a minute or so, so using the bath is not doable and the shower you need to continuously switch the temperature gouge. The bed is very hard and not at all comfortable. They have wifi, but don't provide you with the password, so you can't use it.

- Bruce (5/5): Thumbs down Milan Forester. - The room was of a good size as was the ensuite. Our request for an iron was attended to reasonably promptly.The building had a lift to access the second floor rooms. The location was in a light industrial area a half hours drive from central Milan with no nearby train or bus stops. This necessitated the use of taxis to get to the tourist attractions ( Sforza Palace, Duomo, etc.), which was expensive. On top of that, the property is next door to a strip club which meant that sleep was constantly disrupted by loud music and the crashing of bottles being dumped at the rear of the building. Initial access to the premises was delayed due to a language barrier between us and the owner/manager. We had to use Google translate to enable effective communication with a person we never met. The only toiletries provided were in the form of a one litre plastic package of liquid soap.....better than nothing, I guess. All in all we have to say it was a most disappointing experience.

- Oskar (1/5): Extremely Disappointing Last-Minute Cancellation - Nothing I had a confirmed reservation at MILANFORESTER, with check-in arranged between 14:00 and 15:00. On the morning of my stay, I received a message from the hotel at 08:04 confirming my booking, only to be told at 12:23 that my room was no longer available at the price I had booked for. This last-minute cancellation was especially frustrating as I was in the air at the time and had no way to adjust my plans. I was left scrambling to find another place to stay, resulting in double bookings and extra expenses. The cancellation felt completely unprofessional and caused significant stress. I had already made arrangements for a rental car and my onward travel, so this sudden change disrupted everything. I would not recommend relying on this hotel for any important plans, as they may cancel on you at the last minute without warning.

- Neculai (9/5): Nice, clean and comfy. - Clean, comfortable. I was told we can’t check in after 8 pm even though this property has a self check in system. Eventually the lady allowed us to check in later. There was loud music till morning coming from a bar.

The person that rented the room was talking to me on the phone in english but then the person that shows up didn’t speak any English. She thought that the booking was only for one so she was going to make us pay twice, even I showed her the booking, she called her boss to ask her again.

The flat itself is located in some sort of a mall with very strange surroundings and the view to a strip club and rubbish bins. I don’t recommend going there if you don’t have a car and want to have peace during your stay.

Definitely coming back to them next time we're visiting Milan. Location is okay, Metro and bus station is 30 minutes walk. Ippodromes are also 30 minutes walk approximately depending to which one you need to go.

- Knezović (7/5): I wouldnt want to return there. - Room was clean and new. Beds are new as well as mattresses. Communication with the host. She was very rude and didn´t give us enough info on how to collect keys. She also charged us extra because we came later than expected. At the end everything was ok. It seems that there is a guy called Marco that works there and he was really kind to us. The host was just supposed to say "dont worry I have an employee there who will open the door for you". Untill Marco has send us a message around 20.30 h we didnt know whether we will able to enter the room or not. This was really strange experience. I dont like the felling of being almost left on the street. There is a striptease bar there that works whole night. Two nights out of three that we stayed there was really noisy.

Had a comfortable self check-in but because of the location and the shady entrance to the property, I hoped for a person to assure I was at the right place. Connections to the property at night are very bad.
