Guest Reviews
- Jones (10/5): Worth staying here - Good response from the owners. Very quiet neighborhood. , large garden. Some useful odds and ends of food supplies. All good, but would have liked some garden chairs and an occasional table for drinks in the lounge.
- Raquel (10/5): - The house is very nice, very close to the city center. The beds were very comfortable. I would come back again for sure.
- Crista (8/5): Convenient suburb property - Good communication with the host. On street parking was a bonus for a city stay. Very close to public transport to easily get into the city centre. It is a complete home so facilities were brilliant. Decor was a bit dated but comfort was top notch

- BohemianFrance (10/5): - Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. 😁
- Robin (7/5): -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Mintaras (10/5): Brilliant vibe - It was super clean and easy to find Everything was perfect
- Noémi (10/5): Lovely place - Very nice apartment and hosts, well equipped and easily accessible by bus from the city centre. Some outdated parts, e.g. separate hot and cold water in the taps.
- Sarah (10/5): The property was absolutely perfect for our stay and if I was visiting this area again I would most definately look for - The property was clean, had everything you needed The second bed was a bit lumpy could do with a new mattress or topper on it
- Laura (10/5): Perfect - Mi sono sentita a casa..good vibes
- Mark (10/5): Awesome house that cater very well for our every need. - Clean
Great comfortable and extensive facilities
Very well appointed to regular bus transport
Very spacious
- Dean (10/5): Great stay. Highly recommended - Good location only a few minutes to the centre of Belfast. House had everything we needed for our stay. Good shower and very comfortable bed. Good communication with Dougie during our stay
We really enjoyed our visit to Belfast and stay here Nothing
- Stephen (8/5): Nice stay - It was nice and quiet location. Had everything that we needed. The hosts were very friendly and appeared nice.
- Chris (9/5): Very comfortable - Very close to G. Best city airport. Second toilet downstairs. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet. Private backyard would be nice in summer. Sign on front fence or large house number visible from road to aid finding the house in rain and dark.
Car parking is on far side of small green common in front of the house but it's only few metres away and seems quite secure.
- Terry (9/5): Excellent value in Belfast - Excellent value for money. Good facilities and spotless. Handy for local transport. Would recommend. Need a plug for the bathroom sink.
- Nicolearthur (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts of the property were so accomodating and helpful- catering to our flight times with check in/out which made for a far more enjoyable trip. Noone likes hauling luggage around whilst waiting to go to the airport! The house itself is lovely, lots of extra little touches like fresh flowers and some chocs etc as well as leaving basics like tea coffee sugar milk eggs etc. Access was simple and the house sits in a lovely clean and quiet little cul-de-sac. It has great public transport links to the city centre and not too far from the city centre/airport (George best Belfast city) in a taxi. House was clean and well equipped and we would definitely return to stay at waveney. Thank you for a fab trip! No complaints at all the house was perfect for our needs.
- Martin (10/5): Property was excellant -
- Linda (9/5): A little gem of a property - The house is lovely, with a stunning kitchen/diner, though i understand it is going through phases of refurbishment to certain parts. It really felt homely. The beds were super comfy. Lots of nice little touches. Arty was easy to contact. It is on a council estate but is an ideal location for trips to the city. There are frequent buses, but we didnt use them. (10 mins in a car)(uber approx £11) The location is very quiet, with ample on-street parking. I would def stay here again should I visit Belfast again. Thanks Arty I would suggest maybe some foot stools and side tables in the lounge and perhaps a new sofa, it was quite difficult for me to get up from, and quite soft. Just my personal opinion, as not everyone will think this. The lounge as a whole was lovely.
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (10/5): Best stay - Home away from home. Fresh flowers, live plants, so spacious and comfortable. Excellent kitchen provisions, eggs, milk, butter, well equipped kitchen. We've been "on the road" in UK and Ireland a month and this is a standout property. Bus very close by to Belfast. Host, Arty, very contactable. 👍👍😊 Our stay was only 2 nights 😞
- Kim (10/5): Cosy stay with everything you need. - This place is perfect for a long stay. It has all the amenities you need and more. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed for our stay which made us feel so welcomed. We loved the cosy vibe and the neighbourhood. If we ever return to Belfast I would not hesitate to book this place again.
- Erik (7/5): Good - House was great, and the hoast was very easy to communicate with. Great location for getting into the city. We were a little taken aback by the bunting hanging in the street. It made us feel uncomfortable and was a little intimidating.
- Martina (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place, well eqipped in a very quiet area, yet central, 3 min walk to the bus stop
We loved our hosts, although we didnt meet, they were in touch and very helpful all the time Nothing!
- Emanuele (10/5): Exceptional - This is the best place you can find in Belfast super comfortable in every aspect. The hosts are very good people. Highly recommend.
- Piyanut (8/5): Very good -
- Shawney (10/5): The perfect accommodation - We loved this house. The check in was easy and we were kept well informed throughout the day leading up to checking in. The house is in a brilliant location, 10 mins to city centre and close to all of the lovely tourist attractions. The garden was lovely for our little boy to kick a ball in, and we didn't hear a single sound from anyone or anything the whole time we were there. If you want a peaceful relax, come here. The little details mean the most to us as a busy family, and that is good bedding, a comfortable bed, fluffy towels, and even a bowl of fruit on arrival. It felt truly like a home from home. The kitchen / diner was our little social hub and we just enjoyed hanging out in this house. The flowers and garden are also beautiful, as a gardener myself I loved those touches! Nothing, you could stay here for a month and you wouldn't want for anything!
- Valerie (8/5): Very good - Quiet and comfortable. Little extras Parking not exactly on site and a bit of a struggle for disabled.
No plug in bathroom sink
- David (10/5): Very Good - Lovely accommodation,
Had everything and more from coffee machine to an umbrella for the rainy days. 10/10 Taxi drivers two in fact on our first day warned about the location of our accommodation due to us being from southern Ireland ourselves.
However neighbours never bothered us and seemed peaceful in the couple days we stayed.
So definitely be weary of taxi drivers 👀
- Slawomir (9/5): Superb -
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy and nice flat with everything that you need! Only a short bus drive from city centre. Communication with host was excellent. Should I go back to Belfast I would definitely stay there again!
- Richard (9/5): Enjoyable stay - Clean and comfortable
- Karen (9/5): Family Belfast visit - A well equipped house, suitable for our family visit trip. Home from home, clean and good location Nothing major. The house could do with an update in parts, but I understand that the price reflects this.
- Lucy (7/5): Weekend break - Clean, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, very quiet area. A little too far out of town to walk, taxi or bus required.
Shower wasn't great.
Some things were a little dated, some improvements required some finishing off.
Cupboard at the end of the bed needs moving as you cannot walk around the bed.
- Sheena (10/5): Belfast... - The house was lovely and clean
Beds really comfy, could not fault this house hopefully we will return in the near future... Bit further out from town than I thought but wasn't a issue as we had a car, I'm sure there is a good bus service but we didn't get to try it out.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (10/5): We will be back , lovely stay while visiting the Xmas markets in Belfast - Very cosy.. very straightforward check in.. excellent communication with hosts. Can’t fault in any way
- Amy (10/5): Exceptionally helpful hosts, house was lovely.Belfast was very friendly, house as close enough to town, museum etc, with - Great house. Everything we needed was there as well as extra’s. It took a long time to warm up, but it was a very cold weekend.
- Danny (10/5): Exceptional - Just a beautiful house, decor, tea, snacks, breakie, more than enough of everything Really couldn't say very much wrong, maybe could do with a iron and ironing board, Area was a little bit scary looking with all the union jack flags , not every taxi was willing to take use back to the area were wee stayed from city centre, were advised to call a taxi from the area wee stayed in,
- Agudelo91 (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Jim (9/5): While 2 bedroom house great location. - Whole house with refurbished modern kitchen extension. Few minutes walk to bus stop. About 1.5 miles from city centre View of Cavehill at the back. Great value and a great host. Second time I’ve stayed here in 4 weeks. Nothing
- Fish (10/5): Defo recommend and will return. - Very clean and homely The floor near the front door was slippy but nothing too bad
- Sachin (10/5): Worth - It was just beautiful
- Jim (9/5): Great, affordable accommodation. - Great location and beautiful modern kitchen extension
Arty is a great host, can recommend this whole house.
- Alison (8/5): Clean, bright and quiet property - Good location for getting into the city. Good sized kitchen diner. Comfy bed Sofa very uncomfortable. Limited plug sockets in bedroom and lounge.
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhiannon (10/5): Great property with and attentive host, close to the city and really comfortable. - Arty was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us a quick handover. Basics like milk, tea and coffee were supplied which meant we didn’t have to rush out after travelling.
- Nicol (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place. I could stay there forever. We were just two people but this place could accommodate 4. Equipped kitchen.
Arty was super friendly and kind.
I totally recommend this place.
- Sheryl (10/5): Great kitchen, comfy lounge and bed and two toilets - what more could you want! - A delightful place with a lovely modern kitchen with plenty of bench space as well as a nice table and chairs. Comfy lounge and bedroom. Washer was very useful and we loved the yard at back, including an outdoor clothesline which we used. Great frig with some supplies - everything was fresh and unopened. Toilets upstairs and downstairs was a bonus. A tiny thing but the main bedroom had a large chest of drawers at the end of the bed which made it difficult to get past - as there was another chest of drawers in the room perhaps this one could be moved out. But this is only a tiny point - the place was really very well set up.
- Rytis (9/5): Superb -
- Tracy (9/5): Great time, very comfortable home - Very helpful host.
Great facilities very comfortable home and wonderful garden
- Ashleigh (10/5): A home away from home! - Arty is a lovely host! When we arrived he talked us through all the amenities like gas cooking, heating etc. House is gorgeous with a new kitchen, huge garden and spacious bedrooms! I'd recommend for friends and families to stay in. The house is lovely kept, cleanly and the beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Arty was attentive and passed on his number for contact if we needed him at all. We only stayed overnight but would recommend and definitely stay again. No dislikes for this property, was very pleased with everything for such a brill price.
- Anna (8/5): Friendly communicative host with a magical peaceful garden. - The garden was lovely and it was clear Artur had taken trouble to grow beautiful plants and fruit. This was a place with fairly basic accomodation but good value for what it was. I think it would be helpful to have a short guide to how things worked and to check in things like normal tea bags and salt as I don't think they were there.
- Charles (8/5): Very good - Wrong location for us. Too far from city.
But that’s on us.
Great for family with kids. Room to run around.
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (10/5): great stay close enough to Ormeau park and a lot cheaper than 2 hotel rooms - lovely little house that makes a great base of your going out in Belfast
- Ken (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good - great stay - very comfortable - ideally located - very helpful host
- Donnach (10/5): Lovely house - House was nice and tidy, area was quiet Nothing
- Brenda (10/5): Perfect - This was such a great little home with everything you would want , they even left us some milk which we greatly appreciated. The beds were comfy and they also supplied 2 pillows each which I really like. Shame we only stayed here for 1 night but would absolutely use this as a base next time we come to Belfast . Our lovely host met us onsite to hand over the keys and show us around. No sugar for our tea , which was a bit weird.
- Graham (9/5): Excellent - Our host, Arty, met us at the door to hand over the keys, showed us around and then left us to it. His communication, answering queries, was extremely prompt. The house was clean, very comfortable and very good value. If, or more likely when, we retunr to Belfast, we'd be more than happy to book here again.
The location was also extremely good for accessing the city centre. Nothing I can think of, we had no issues at all.
- Angie (10/5): arty was very accommodating when our flight was really delayed. He provided us with a welcome pack of milk, bread eggs e - I liked the fact that it was like being home from home. Arty has nailed it with every comfortable detail from the modern kitchen with stocked cupboards with staples to help you with cooking to the comfy beds. there was nothing we didn’t
like
- Pablo (10/5): An excellent stay, comfortable and clean house! - The house was clean and comfortable, the owner was great with us. nothing
- Leonie (10/5): Brilliant - Absolutely loved our family stay here, everything we needed for a family break. very handy to the city center, host was great and very accommodating. Photos don't do the place justice, house is lovely. very comfortable stay

Was met by Arty , which is a VERY VERY KIND person and VERY PATIENT .The house have a very good vibe, very clean and fully equipped . Very comfortable bed, very quiet and I slept really good. - Tanya (10/5): Excellent! -
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb -
- Chahrazed (10/5): Excellent… Arthur was also very flexible and so kind - Everything. Arthur was also very kind and flexible
- Kathryn (7/5): Friendly host - Kitchen is a lovely space
Arty is friendly and helpful.
Beds were comfy.
House was clean.
Price is good. The air fresheners in the house were overpowering and we had to move them because they made myself and my daughter feel ill.
I found the many trinkets around the house a bit overwhelming and would prefer a clear space without them all, but I accept that that's personal taste.
We'd have appreciated some extra blankets - we had to use some spare curtains from a cupboard.
No glasses in the kitchen, except for wine glasses.
Some wear and tear to items - blinds in back bedroom are broken and curtains in there would help too .
The spare chest of drawers in the front bedroom seemed unnecessary and made it difficult to get round the bed.
I was slightly concerned when, after Arty had shown me round, I was sitting outside the house in my car looking at emails and noticed him go back into the house. It made me nervous about whether he would come back over the weekend. My understanding was that once the keys have been handed over, he wouldn't re-enter the property until the end of the rental period.
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Arty was so helpful even before we arrived he very helpful direction on how to get to lovely home I would recommend to anyone very good bus service to and from the city a all day ticket is only four pounds and forth p great value for money Not thing
