Tres bon accueil avec des supers conseils pour profiter de la ville Le manque de basique en cuisine (café, sel, poivre, huile et vinaigre) La mauvaise qualité du canapé lit L'odeur dans la salle de bain tres fréquente en Espagne malheureusement

Hosts provided clear check in information and recommendations for things to do and see. Great access to local train system and easy walk to all sights in the town. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sit on and some appliances had worn power cords.
• Martínez (7/5): Vacaciones de pintxos - Esta bien situado , el apartamento esta bien , tiene de todo , si se quiere cocinar. El personal super agradable y atento. Por mejorar yo pondria cortinas opacas para la luz y el sofa cama es muy incomodo debido a su uso .
• Javier (9/5): Perfecto para visitar Donostia - Personal muy agradable que te aconseja muy bien y nos solucionaron un problema que tuvimos. Ubicación muy buena, te puedes mover en tren por la ciudad y pueblos de al lado. Quitando que faltaba algún vaso estaba muy bien equipado. Muy acogedor. (No es del alojamiento) Para aparcar en la zona está muy complicado ya que es zona azul/residentes. Hay que ir a un parking disuasorio que hay en Anoeta o a paradas de tren como Intxaurrondo.

• Ben (6/5): - location was great, host was really useful, had decent amenities, generally was pretty clean. i stayed on the sofa bed which was really uncomfortable and had a sheet which may have already been used inside it already. The toilet was leaky (by sound nothing on the floor), and there was only one loo roll given.

• Montse (8/5): - Juan y Jose Mari han sido muy amables en todo momento, dándonos buenos consejos y recibiéndonos estupendamente. La ubicación del apartamento es muy buena. Nuestra reserva ha coincidido con las fiestas del barrio de Amara, del 30 de julio al 3 de agosto, y no se podía descansar hasta la madrugada que era cuando acababa la música de los conciertos y actividades diversas que estaba muy alta. El sofá cama no está preparado para un adolescente, quizás un niño pueda dormir bien.
• Marion (8/5): - Our hosts were so helpful & kind. The apartment had plenty of towels, sheets etc. The location was great, walking distance to the beach, Main town & old town. There was a beautiful park outside & lovely cafés nearby. The fan's in the apartment were great. Our apartment was beside the lift, which found was very noisy sometimes.

• Clare (9/5): Comfortable apartment in a convenient location - Good apartment close to Amara station and within walking distance of the beach and old town. Has everything you need, comfortable bed and a nice shower. Easy check-in with host who responded quickly to our messages. A bit of a musty smell in bathroom.
• Nuala (9/5): Comfortable apartment invtgw - Very central, comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities,spacious, No air con. This didn't matter to us as we visited in Mid October but the summer months might be a lot different. We were beside Amara train station, trains started up around 5am but with windows closed probably not an issue.

Check in was great, and helpful advice given regarding the local area. Perfect for our needs. Everything was excellent.

• Martine (7/5): A good base for a stay, but skip the City Tour bus - A comfortable apartment for our 5 night stay. Very helpful host, who explained that taxis could be difficult, offered to book for us if we had a problem. We took him up on this for the taxi on the last day to ensure we got to the bus station on time. Brilliant service, thanks! Several good cafes and a big supermarket nearby. 10 minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately the bathroom (drains presumably) had an odd, strong smell. Avoid the hop on/off City Tour bus. We couldn't find a seat where the headphones worked to hear the guided tour. The website and app showed no 7 stop at the Church of the Good Shepherd but this stop didn't seem to exist- the no7 signpost was at La Concha. The bus went fast and didn't run to time -the expected 1hr loop took us 45 mins max, meaning we met several people who had missed their return trip as it arrived too early. It didn't stop at scenic views long enough to take a photo. We rang the request bell to get off at Old Town no4, but the bus didn't stop for us, even though we came downstairs and called to the driver. A waste of money.

• Philissa (8/5): Great value and location - The location was perfect. Nice to have an apartment to relax in other than a hotel. The pillows were really bad. Really too soft as well as the bed.

• Michael (9/5): Excellent time ina nice flat. - Superb, large flat, not too far from the centre, very close to Amara Railway Station. I could only find one large cup in the kitchen. Couldn't get cooker hob working & couldn't find any instructions.

There was a problem with the WiFi which was outside of the responsibility of the owners, they did everything to solve the problem as soon as possible. Contact to owner and organisation of check in was very good.

• Joni (9/5): Would recommend this to everybody! - Big, cosy and well equiped apartment with great location. Juan the host was superhelpful and nice. We would love to come back! The only downside was the 4-day festival outside in the square that sounded a lot at night (we have small children).

Welcome by hosts and information and advice to get the most from our stay. There was a bit of noise at night but only to be expected for such a central location so not a problem for us, home from home!

We used it as a base to explore the city, and its location next to Amara station made it easy for arrival/departure. We appreciated all the facilities in the apartment (especially the washing machine and dishwasher). The hosts were very helpful with queries, both before and during our stay. A couple of things we would have liked to find in the kitchen - some proper coffee mugs (we could only find tiny espresso cups, so we bought a couple of larger cups and left them in the apartment), and a small knife for fruit/vegetables.
