The wood cabinetry and high end decorating made this feel like a much more expensive stay! The minibar options were actually affordable and the complimentary shortbread was delicious. The attached restaurant/bar is lovely along with their small lobby/workspace. The honor bar and breakfast/snack area was not fancy, but it had a casual elegance that was a surprise at this price point. This will be my go-to hotel choice in London!

The room is quirky in its interior - would have been helpful to have a small bin near the dressing table and a plug near the full length mirror (to do hair). Lighting not good by dressing table or in bathroom, so only good mirror to use is the full length one, but no socket! Very friendly check in staff

Only thing missing was an eggless choice from the a la carte menu. The location is also amazing as it is just a short walk from a major station.

Staff were largely helpful. Breakfasts were great quality if lacking some variety of choice of things like cereals & bread types. Breakfast was good and filling. My only complaint would be the lighting in the room. The lighting was too dim for putting on makeup or shaving. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again. If you want to go to the theater to see Wicked or Hamilton they are right outside the hotel.

There was nothing that I did not like. one thing I would suggest was instead of sparkling wine that we did not use as a VIP access gift, they should have given us credit for breakfast or something that we would use.

- Giuliana (8/5): - This is a nice, new boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room was nice. It was studio apartment. However, we had a few complaints. 1. The bathroom did not have outlets for anything other than electric shavers. The voltage in the bathroom outlet differed from standard UK voltage. We found this very odd. I could only blow dry my hair in the hallway while I sat on the floor in front of the mirror. 2. The elevators broke continuously during our stay. 3. The door to our room did not have a deadbolt, which made me feel uneasy. Any member of the staff could have entered our room at any time without a deadbolt to stop them. 4. The lids to the trashcans in the room did not fit in the cabinet, so we could not close the cabinet to the trash (under the kitchen sink) without taking the lids off. These are all minor issues, and overall out stay was nice.

Decor is beautiful, staff really helpful and location is perfect for exploring London. We would definitely stay again.
- Donna (2/5): - I could not fulfill my stay at this hotel due to an airline strike. The hotel would not move on its “non refundable” stance even with the strike beyond my control. In addition just before I was to leave my home country, I was some urgent medical information. If I got stuck in London I would have lost the surgery date, and I have been waiting for years. As it stands, the strike is still not resolved. Have a heart!

- Irma (10/5): Home Away From Home - The July is our new hotel when in London! The interior decor is quirky and homely and the staff service is commendable. It really is a home away from hotel with a kitchenette in each room and access to a laundry where you can wash and dry your clothes for a small fee.

- Mark (10/5): Stylish and fresh in Victoria - An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Victoria. Super stylish. Comfy beds. Lovely mini kitchen in the room. Even has a laundry room and a fab little gym. My only negative for the stay was the water was off Friday night and Saturday morning, but this is unlikely to be a regular occurrence 😛

- Tarryn (10/5): - What a charming spot to spend time exploring London; located near multiple public transportation options, restaurants, and shops, The July was quiet, clean, and modern. The staff was helpful—even when dealing with infrastructure issues that was completely out of their control. Another visit to London and The July is at the top of the list, hearing they have spots in other cities is also enticing! Cons: no outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer and no mirror close enough either, let alone one close enough to do hair or make up.

- Douglas (10/5): New hotel feels fresh - Great layout that was quite large for a London hotel. The decoration was impeccable and even though we didn’t use the kitchen elements they were very appreciated. Location was convenient. There are a lot of doors in the hallways for what I assume is fire safety but can easily get turned around
- Jean (8/5): Rather chaotic - Well despite the overall experience being very positive the start to it was a little bit chaotic,. I arrived before the check in time and was told that I could leave my luggage until the time for check and arrived. I therefore. Arrive back at the appointed time and was told that my room would be ready in five minutes. It was not ready until some half.An hour later and when I arrived in the room I found a travel cot assembled ready for my use. This has been requested and was eventually removed when I ran reception. After. Then I received one visit from somebody.removing the travel cart.Another person arrivied to take away the travel cot.And then somebody arrivied to ask whether the service in my room completed on that day had been satisfactory. I explained it was my first day in the property. This was. Most unfortunate because the actual service from the people.There was friendly helpful kind but I do think they need to sort their organization out.
- Sarah (10/5): Clean, comfortable, quiet! - The hotel is new, comfortable, pretty, well-equipped, quiet, and has friendly staff. They had only been open a month when we arrived so we were understanding when our AC didn’t work properly one night. They immediately fixed it the next day and it worked well after that. Staff helped us with suggestions, taxis, and checked us in early. Wonderful stay. Guests will find this hotel a great place to stay!!

- Timothy (10/5): - Hotel is almost brand new. Less than a 5 minute walk to Victoria Train/Underground station so very convenient to public transportation. Cardinal Place shopping mall is about a 5 minute walk away as well. Plenty of shopping and dining options there. A few shops and Asian restaurants right outside the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was great also, although as a suggestion it would be great for them to get paper takeaway cups for coffee and takeaway containers for food. The area seems a bit up-and-coming and there were many homeless hanging around the area; there may be a shelter nearby and a few were a bit aggressive, my wife was not comfortable once and ducked into a tourist shop for a bit, otherwise a nice area. Had the air conditioning fail in our room during our stay and the staff did a great job fixing it. Overall a great stay, beautiful hotel, friendly staff and convenient to dining and transportation. Would definitely stay here again.

- Christopher (10/5): Oasis concert - When we first arrived we had to wait to check in and once to the front the room wasn’t ready which is fair enough, it wasn’t 3pm yet, but it still wasn’t ready at 2.55pm so we just left for the concert. Other than that, everything else was brilliant, the rooms, the location, the people and cleanliness.

- Verified traveler (10/5): A sumptuous stay - The team at the desk were super friendly and knowledgeable which made a great impression. Relaxed but professional. The hotel is beautifully decorated and feels sumptuous and inviting. The room was gorgeous too with every little detail considered and a VERY comfortable bed. The handwritten card is a nice touch too. My only suggestion would be to have signs stating where the elevators are - lots of fire exit doors and signs but was unsure if opening one would trigger an alarm at 6am!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice new hotel near Victoria - I really enjoyed this stay. Hotel is clean, comfortable, reasonably quiet, and very close to Victoria Station for transportation to and from Gatwick and around the city. They offer nice touches like heavy blackout curtains that actually work and premium soaps and a well-equipped kitchen for a relatively small space. The beds are comfortable. The gym could be a bit better equipped but I was just happy to have one wirh weights. The area directly around the hotel is not that exciting but blocks away there are many restaurants and it's easy to get to some of the tourist highlights from this location. I do wish the windows opened more than a sliver. But small complaint for an overall good value.

- Heloise (10/5): Retro-Stylish aparthotel in the heart of the city - Beautiful place! I was in the city for 1 night to meet friends for dinner one evening and then catch up with family the following day. The hotel is well located to explore central London and beautifully appointed. I would definitely return for a longer stay as I didn’t really take full advantage of the well equipped kitchenette or the gym and sauna. Also didn’t try the breakfast as I had other plans. The honesty bar was a nice touch, you can help yourself to a good choice of drinks, snacks and pantry goods and pay via a QR code. As a gold member I was treated to a bottle of fizz in the fridge but I had to leave it as I didn’t have the opportunity to drink it or take it with me. Thank you for a lovely stay

Rooms are so spacious for such a convenient location, and the little kitchen, which we didn’t use, looked to have everything you’d need for cooking. Breakfast the next morning was high quality and tasty. Only improvement would be the gym which was a bit empty and soulless.
- Bashir (10/5): - I was thinking of staying in a hotel in Mayfair but chose this because the rate was reasonable and I am glad I did because it seems like a brand new hotel with latest amenities and sort of retro fittings. The service was great too and the two bars in the hotel are convenient and cool too if you don't feel like venturing around the area near Victoria Station after business hours.

- Joanne (10/5): Excellent. Stay here! - Amazing new hotel, everything you could need or wish for in the room and a good location. Pillows were out of this world comfortable, I had to look and see the brand to try and buy them. Despite living fairly close to London and not usually needing to stay over we would 100% return - we’ll be going to Amsterdam next year and have already decided to book the sister hotel there.

Loads of great food and breakfast options within a really short walk from the hotel. Room was new, super clean. Small kitchen was a great addition. We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the street but it was super quiet. Great stay, would definitely stay again
