Guest Reviews
- 480olao (10/5): Amazing 🤩 - I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend it
- 190iwonao (10/5): Great stay and excellent service! - I had a very pleasant stay at the Premier Inn Dagenham. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience very comfortable. My room was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The hotel is well located and easy to access, and the atmosphere inside is calm and welcoming. Overall, great value for money and excellent service. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.
- magdaab (2/5): The experience was bad. - Hardly there is someone in the reception. Most of the time I need to call someone to come and serve. The room was never cleaned despite I made the request twice. I changed my own towels, bedding never changed and I was cleaning my own bin.
- R2173BEnataliag (10/5): Highly recommended - Very satisfied with all experience. Clean room, very comfortable beds, friendly staff. Recently renovated.Highly recommended .
- Navigate49411990751 (10/5): Happy with the stay - Very cosy Atmosphere, highly recommend
Good location, friendly staff. Rooms are tidy and very clean in good value. Happy with the stay
- 212marlenao (10/5): Totally worth visiting - If you are looking for hotel with unusual, helpful service then it’s the right place for you. Home-like atmosphere, rooms are super clean, spacious and in good condition. I’d give 5/5 for that place but for stuff even more than that ;)
- beatao945 (10/5): A very nice stay - The hotel was very comfortable — the rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and varied, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Special thanks to Edyta for her exceptional kindness and professionalism. I would gladly stay there again.
- 544mateuszo (10/5): Excellent Stay! - I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. Everything exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again.
- sealoinks (10/5): Excellent staff service - Excellent service from Shareef. He is very prompt in his service and he ensures that every customer is well taken care especially during breakfast. In fact, every staff in this hotel is very friendly and all of them go beyond the mile to extend their help to customers. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.
- Jimgrim101 (2/5): Room 817 - room from hell - We've stayed here several times and found it great, but tonight we got the dreaded room 817. The extractor fan sits directly above the room and pretty much vibrates the room all the way through the night. No sleep for anyone.
- 198moi (2/5): Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs - After a **5.5-hour drive**, the last thing I expected was to be greeted by reception staff who behaved more like **prison officers** than hospitality workers. Despite already checking in online, I was met by **two incredibly rude staff members** who literally looked at each other to see who would be bothered to serve me. No welcome, no warmth, not even basic courtesy. They handed me a key card with attitude, barked at me to pay for parking, and offered **zero directions** to my room.
I paid for a **Premium Plus room**, and although the room itself looked nice at first, the **lights were flickering constantly**. I thought it was just a minor issue—until the entire **electrical system failed**. Since the room had **no phone**, I had to walk all the way back downstairs to report it.
And that’s when things went from bad to unbelievable.
The same rude reception staff looked me dead in the face and said, **“What have you done?”**—as if I had somehow caused the power failure. I explained I hadn’t even plugged anything in, yet the attitude continued. Both of them huffed, puffed, and acted like checking the problem was the biggest inconvenience of their lives.
They spent **25 minutes** playing with switches while I sat in **complete darkness** and watched my food go cold. After nearly 30 minutes, one of them **laughed** and said, “Well, what are you going to do? We don’t have any more Plus rooms.” The level of disrespect was shocking.
I asked if there were any unoccupied rooms that hadn’t been checked into yet and was told **“No, because they’ve already paid and we can’t let them down.”**
So according to this hotel, **I paid too, but it’s fine to let me down.** The staff even admitted this outright.
Eventually I had no choice but to accept a **downgraded room**. They didn’t offer to help move a single bag. I had to make **three long trips down the corridor** on my own. Any decent hotel would have offered help, especially given the circumstances, but not here.
The next morning I spoke to the manager, expecting at least a proper apology or partial refund. Instead, I was offered **£9 back for parking.** That was it. No compensation for the downgrade. No acknowledgment of the awful service. Nothing.
This hotel clearly has **no concept of customer service**, no accountability, and no respect for guests who pay for upgraded rooms. The behaviour of the staff was rude, dismissive, and totally unprofessional from start to finish.
**I will never stay here again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.**
If you value basic courtesy, working electrics, and not being spoken to like a nuisance, choose somewhere else.
- 778niladrib (10/5): Great experience - Stayed there for couple of nights for business meeting. The venue was close to the hotel. The room was good. Staff were brilliant. Highly recommend
- marsI7249OW (6/5): Check-In Ruined by Unprofessional Staff - I recently stayed at this hotel for a three-night trip and unfortunately had a disappointing experience at check-in. I had pre-booked a specific room type, but when I arrived late that evening, the night manager refused to give me the room I reserved. What made the situation worse was the attitude I encountered—he was not pleasant to deal with and offered no apology or explanation for the mix-up.
After a long day of travel, this lack of courtesy and professionalism was really frustrating. The rest of the stay was fine, but the initial impression set a negative tone that could have easily been avoided with better communication and a more respectful approach.
I hope management addresses this so future guests are treated with more consideration.
- neallew (10/5): very comfortable, clean and quiet - Clean well sized room. comfy bed and quiet room. brief stay but great friendly staff and able to leave left luggage. no idea of parking or food as didnt use.
- balkardigwa (2/5): Small family room - Paid for a family room for 2 nights but was given a small family room not the same as my other family members that booked family rooms. ( there family rooms were bigger ) no table in my room. Receptionist had a face on like she didn't want to be there ( maybe get a new job if your unsatisfied with your current one ) I've stayed here before and it was OK but I wouldn't stay here again unless it was FREE. Do yourself a favour and book a different one!
- Janet_Sarah (10/5): Consistently Great - We love this Premier Inn and stay at least a couple of times a year. The location is perfect and the hotel is clean and comfy, but what really makes it great are the staff. Particular shout outs to Amrit, who always recognises us and looks after us admirably, and to Farhana, who looked after us for the two nights we ate at the restaurant, and whose service was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to seeing you both again.
- bradleywX9917XJ (10/5): Breakfast - Great breakfast, both cooked and continental, all items were available. Selection of hot and cold drinks also great. Speedy service Thanks to server Shareef.
- natashagG2524EC (8/5): Good experience - Hotel experience was good. Restaurant staff is very friendly, and helpful. Shareef was very helpful at breakfast service. Will visit again.
- FarAway39212057549 (10/5): Good value , great people - Great location, friendly staff clean rooms, Shareef in the restaurant was an absolute delight very helpful and friendly, great customer service
- I8963KXrachelc (10/5): 5 star will be back - room was very modern and clean, friendly staff great service very happy to help. would recommend and be back! Good location and great value for money
- mariakennedy1 (10/5): Shareef served us and he made the experience so lovely. He was professional and kind. I would really recommend - Shareed served us and he made the experience so lovely. He was professional and kind. I would really recommend. The breakfast was lovely and the room was clean.
- Suthager (6/5): Decent stay, but disappointing check-in experience - We are giving Premier Inn Edgware 3 stars. When we arrived at the hotel to check in, we didn’t feel very welcomed. The receptionist told us that our booking was “not actually valid,” but that he would let it go this time. This was quite strange and confusing for us, as everything had been properly booked and paid for in advance.
We were also given a room designed for guests with special needs, which was not the room type we had booked or wanted. The stay itself was fine overall, but the check-in experience unfortunately affected our impression of the hotel.
- tommygilboy (8/5): Repeat Customer - Looking Forward to Our Next Visit - REPEAT CUSTOMER - Pleased with the service and comfort provided at a great price. Only small disappointment is the Bar Area .. seating here needs a major renovation. Seating is tired and dated, showing signs of wear and tear
- nights0ut (4/5): disappointed me expected better - Got there and told no restaurant it was closed. So everyday had to go to another premier inn for breakfast. I had booked breakfast but because it was a promo was told no refund and have to go elsewhere otherwise no breakfast. Then got into my room and there was a noisy machine stopping me sleeping. Went and complained and they said they had done something but it did not fix it. So could not sleep so that was disappointing. It was very disappointing overall. It looked clean. But bed was not to my liking. Location a bit far out and walk from tube. There was no atmosphere don't know what i am supposed to say about that.
- 423aggelikiv (10/5): Lovely - It was great the food everything and the room service I eat curry with chicken and rice served by ambrit and ruchik.and the breakfast was great too
- elizabethoG7761UL (6/5): Ok but didn’t get what I paid for - Arrived having paid for early check-in - no staff member present. One family said they’d been waiting 20 mins. I waited around 8-10 mins; some arrived and said they’d check in lady was on her break and would be along shortly, which they were. Nice Premier Plus room.
Next morning I left for the day at 9 am and wanted to request that my room be serviced - no one around in reception… so I went to the restaurant. Member of staff wrote down my room details into her phone. I think it was the lady who had checked me in. In fact I returned to my room as didn’t need my jacket and saw a member of cleaning staff so I told her I’d requested that the room be cleaned, told her room number, showed her the room and told her that check in lady had made a note of it.
Returned that night, room untouched….. so no nice tea, clean glasses and mugs, Green and Blacks chocolate, water in fridge etc.
Left the next morning around 8.45 am, no one to talk to at reception so…
All in all, a bit haphazard. Short staffed. Otherwise “ok”.
- Martha Maria (8/5): - Friendly staff, good room with comfy beds, good selection at the bar
- H9366QAcm (10/5): Excellent - Really excellent hospitality very friendly welcoming and efficient very hardworking, thank you Sehaj and Sangita. Very good quality tasty interesting dinner menu.
- 58maksw (10/5): Brilliant - really enjoyed every stay at Premier in Dagenham.
The staff are awesome—always helpful and friendly, making you feel right at home.
Rooms are spotless, clean, and recently renovated.
- MV0419 (8/5): Excellent value. - Excellent clean premier plus room. Easy parking. Friendly helpful staff. Close to the tube station with good food and a nice restaurant and bar. We would stay again.
A star docked as I was never offered the code for the free ultimate WiFi which came with the premier plus room. When I asked for this the next morning the receptionist could not log on and asked me to go back an hour later. I didn’t bother as we were going out sightseeing. Otherwise highly recommended!
- Salvone1985 (8/5): Good experience - Nice room with basic services but no complaint. Spacious shower and good quality soap.
Lack of a wardrobe so ok for short stay. Wi-Fi is too slow to be used.
- TIMOTHY (4/5): - Staff lack training.
They need to review the room service situation. If you want your room serviced you’re require to notify reception before midday. The problem is that they have the multi tasking running the bar and breakfast areas. This results in pressing the call button at reception, but you still wait minutes for staff to arrive.
The multi talking also means that check in takes around 10m.
We had the do not disturb sign on the door, but the cleaner still waked into our room. On checking out the reception person asked how the stay was, which I replied ok. Then he said only ok. Informed him that cleaner had walked into our room. He said you must understand they start early and have many rooms to clean. I said we had the do not disturb song on the door and he said but you know they are busy. Extremely poor end to the stay as this is the second time we have had staff walk into room with son not disturb sign
- P1283LLmichaels (10/5): Clean and tidy. - A very clean and modern room, Shareef and Sehaj were very attentive and efficient. Sehaj was in the restaurant Friday evening, great service.
- Van A (4/5): - Don’t care to
- Samkappes (10/5): Very good value for money. - We had an absolutely amazing time at Premier inn Dagenham. It was a fantastic hotel stay. It was 6 minutes walk to the Dagenham Dock train station and 18 minute by train to central London, which was incredibly convenient for our travel.Room was clean and we appreciated the comfortable bedding, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. I can't fault the place and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this Hotel for everyone visiting London.
- 441michalinar (10/5): I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area! - From the very first moment we arrived to the very last, we enjoyed every second of it. Beds and pillows were so comfortable we didn’t want to get up in the morning.
The staff at were incredibly welcoming and attentive.
- 153andrzejo (10/5): Great stay - Great friendly staff, very clean room. Would recommend. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was very easy
- 641natasav (10/5): Family holiday - The staff is amazing quick check in room is clean absolutely live to stay there shop are close station is close great place to stay we stayed in premier in plus room beautiful hotel

- JanHunnt (10/5): Lovely stay . - Lovely stay – the rooms were spotless and the beds really comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout. Great location with easy parking, and overall really good value for money. Would happily stay again
- Walk_53 (6/5): Not The Best - Room okay, but needed a clean, shower screen leaked water onto the floor, wi-fi as always in PI is not great, reception was small and always very busy with people, it was quite threatening and uncomfortable at times. Pub next door had no beer, cider or Guinness, barman was not interested. I had a lemonade in the end, food was okay but should have been hotter.
- Sabrina (8/5): -
- Mr_busine22 (6/5): Overpriced due to event - So like every hotel, if there's an event they hike up the prices, pretty disappointing really, but I am not paying the company is, so given that when the company spends £400 for two nights I EXPECT free WiFi! Not crappy free that doesn't work then upgrade to ultimate at extra cost!
this is just disgusting!
Place is OK, I'm in room 205, clearly redone on the cheap as not a single plug, sink or power socket has been installed straight, it's quite laughable really, but it is clean, parking is again a rip off, £9 per night,
way better offerings available than this cash rip off, search around
- Maija (8/5): - service was good,thank yoi
- Kely (2/5): - Mr sheriff was very rude no customer service at all the Jamaican young lady is very helpful and friendly anybody coming to this hotel i advice you avoid mr sheriff he will ruin your stay
