Guest Reviews
- gmxh558 (8/5): Good location - Stayed here many times, comfortable and well situated for transport links. The new social is very good except for the bar, very limited range of drinks, no proper beers or ales, just poncy hipster drinks.
- mobciral (10/5): Good for the money - Friendly, predictable, comfy beds. Well placed for transport to central London, relatively cheap parking, you know what you’re getting with premier inn, this is one of the better ones, rooms are generally reasonably priced compared yo other options.
- B593IYmaryn (10/5): Nice - Best stay. Everything was good, clean rooms , great location and the staff is just amazing, very welcoming and friendly.
- neculitas (10/5): Great - Nice experience .Very friendly staff ,and the new restaurant is just amaizing .We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner and everything was great.
- claudiagT5939ZV (10/5): Really friendly team and fab location - Had a lovely stay at the Premier Inn in Holborn with our family. Great Location for Covent Garden and walking over to Oxford street. Took our daughter to London for her birthday weekend. Chaabi from the breakfast team was really kindly and made my daughter a massive hot chocolate (I thought the coffee machines did hot chocolate as well but they did not) and he made her day! Thank you!
- elrich97 (10/5): Friendly - I was at the hotel with my partner and was having a drink .. the staff was friendly.. and the manager was friendly n helpfull aswell
- 950deepikak (2/5): Absolutely Unprofessional Conduct by Manager Marius - My experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing and far below the standards expected from Premier Inn. I checked in on behalf of my partner and requested a room on the top floor. I was initially told it would be ready in five minutes, but I was left waiting for approximately twenty minutes.
When I finally received the key, I went to the room and found that it was far too small for two adults. I returned to reception to request a room change, but the manager, Marius, refused. He insisted that the person who made the booking needed to be physically present to make any changes—an explanation that offered no real solution to the issue.
Throughout our interaction, Marius behaved in an unprofessional and intimidating manner. As a female guest, I felt extremely uncomfortable due to his stern, authoritative looks, which appeared intended to pressure me into dropping the request. When my partner called and asked to speak with him directly, he refused to engage at all.
After making me wait an additional thirty minutes, the “policy” he had stated suddenly changed, and he eventually provided me with a different room without any explanation. What made the situation even more unacceptable was that, despite being a manager, he addressed me as “darling”—a completely inappropriate and unprofessional term to use towards a female guest in a hospitality setting.
His conduct caused us significant distress, and the lack of professionalism displayed throughout was extremely disappointing.
A Note to Future Guests:
For future bookings, I would strongly recommend confirming room needs clearly in advance and keeping all booking details accessible. If you encounter any issues on-site, do not hesitate to escalate them promptly. Guests should always feel respected, supported, and treated with professionalism throughout their stay.
- A1601GTannj (10/5): Another excellent Premier Inn experience - We stayed at Premier Inn ,Holborn because it was the nearest to the theatre we were going to. We always look for a Premier Inn to stay at because the standard is consistently high and PI Holborn was no exception. The room and food were of the expected high standard and all the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and approachable. Javed booked us in. He was absolutely spot on. He was everything you want and expect after a long journey. He is a real credit to Premier Inn. We will be back down in London early next year and there is no doubt at all about where we will be staying.
- 11fakruli (2/5): Rude manager Marius - ⭐ 1-Star Review — Premier Inn Hayes (Hyde Park)
My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. My partner checked in for me and asked for a room on the top floor. She was told it would be ready in 5 minutes, but ended up waiting 30 minutes. When she finally got the room, it was very small.
When she asked to move to a larger room, Marius at the front desk incorrectly claimed that the person who made the booking had to be physically present. This is completely false — Premier Inn customer service later confirmed that as long as the booking reference is provided, room changes are allowed.
Marius was rude, unhelpful, and even refused to speak to me on the phone, despite my partner asking him to. The attitude and lack of professionalism were shocking.
Reception is also often empty, and it takes far too long for anyone to deal with even simple issues.
I would urge others to be cautious before staying here. This is not the standard you expect from Premier Inn.
- LewisBaskerville (8/5): Good overall - I stayed here whilst taking my son to Great Ormond Street Hospital. The hotel was good overall and a good location for the hospital. On arrival all of the check in machines were out of order and reception was unmanned. After a few minutes wait someone did appear and check us in and they were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good but could be improved with better quality fruit, better pancakes (they were a bit dry), and some maple syrup (there were two empty bottles). I would happily stay here again. I've stayed in about a dozen different Premier Inns and this was about 4th best.
- b0rbilat (10/5): Super - Excellent stay .We enjoyed our stay ,my family was happy with the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Nothing to complain.
- 779rianad (10/5): ... - I had a good time, good food, great service and happy stay. Pleasant bathrooms with warm showers.I Would like to visit again.
- K1452TMjoannas (10/5): Highly recommend - Great rooms and restaurant - We had a great stay. The new opened restaurant was a great surprise - delicious food and relaxing atmosphere.Highly recommended!
- 221jayak (10/5): Nice stay - Stay was lovely, nice restaurant staff were very helpful clean rooms the welcoming attitude of staff was pleasant and felt like home
- lauraaP6547KT (10/5): Great stay - Great stay at Premier Inn Hayes!
Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, and a convenient location. Excellent value for money- I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
- Travel31024479429 (10/5): Vacation - London - If you're looking for a peaceful vacation this is a good place to be at. The service was good, I couldn't ask for anything more:) Didn't have to rent a car since the train station is close by.
- Guide55732856838 (10/5): Excellent - We had a great stay, the new restaurant is lovely with delicious food and great service from everyone, rooms are clean and location convenient to travel.
- Sebi8800 (10/5): Great - Everything was great, nice and very helpful staff. The price was very reasonable and the location is very convenient as it is near a train station.
- 287libertyj (10/5): Yasmina - Wanted to shout out Yasmina on the front desk specifically. She was kind and helpful and welcomed us warmly. Made a wonderful start to our day.
- K7268WAclarab (10/5): Great stay - Only a 15 minute walk from Waterloo station so a good base to explore London. The staff were friendly & helpful and the rooms were clean. The meal deal was good value so enjoyed a 2 course meal in the evening and a cooked breakfast the next day. All in all a lovely stay.
- Rayybies (10/5): Warm and Welcoming - Some of the nicest staff I have experienced, all were happy to help and welcoming. The rooms were lovely and quiet and beds super comfortable. A great location for exploring the Waterloo/Westminster area!
- AgentPaws (10/5): Excellent Premier Inn - Great location, around 10 mins walk to the tube (Lambeth Road), but there are frequent busses into the centre of the city from just round the corner. Lovely staff, and everything still feels new. Excellent views.
- 897finnd (10/5): So good - I wanted a hotel after travelling to London for a concert.
This hotel was perfect for my needs.
It ticked every single box. All the staff were friendly and gave me a warm welcome. The room was warm and spacious. The view for the room was amazing.
The bed was so comfortable. I didn't have to get up once during my sleep.
The breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked.
Every single member of staff were welcoming, with a warm and friendly smile. I felt that they all went out of their way to ensure that my stay was perfect. It was.
A huge thank you to the whole team there.
- Bev_Hull (10/5): Great location, hotel and staff - you can not go wrong if you stay here! - What a great location - we had a Premier Plus Room with the views - OMG they are amazing. Hotel very clean and tidy. All staff went out of their way to help you. You can not go wrong staying here. We used Uber from Kings Cross only about £25. From £15 into Covent Gardens area. Tubes near by too. Had breakfast only one day and it was great - very busy but got seated in prime time very quickly and easily and plenty of food available. Had a bottle of wine in the bar one night, good choice and very reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back next time in London.
- Passport811499 (8/5): Great location, friendly staff - Well located on a fairly quiet back street in a great location. The hotel is good, staff are friendly(especially Sabina). Little things I noted were cleanliness issues like grubby lift walls, tired looking stairwell paint but on the whole not too bad. The room we stayed in was fine but the carpet was sticky in places and again looking tired. Good tv channels. Great breakfast !
- F8204ZCcourtneyw (6/5): Overall okay but let down by a few things - The hotel was in a good location, was easy to walk to most locations/tube stations to get around, the location was quiet in the evenings. We checked in online however on arrival the screen wouldn't work to get us a key card, however staff were quick to answer the support button. The room and bathroom overall were clean and tidy. The bed was quite creaky, and too short for my partner who is 6'1. We had one meal in the restaurant in the evening due to the rain, and it was very poor. The restaurant was empty, only another 2 guests present, and the food tasted frozen. Typically used to when Premier Inns are attached to 'chain pubs' and was looking forward to a decent meal however this was not what was received, I think the restaurant is run independently by the hotel which seemed to make a big difference.
- christinewG4896HM (10/5): 10/10 one night stay - Excellent location near transport links and restaurants, very clean, comfy beds, efficient check-in and friendly service. Next door to the Imperial War Museum.
- P9847JYsallyk (10/5): Excellent stay - Excellent, quiet location. Staff are so positive, polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is very good and well presented. Room was so quiet and very comfortable. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.
- 518arn (2/5): Worse than expected! - The actual rooms are much worse compared to what they show on the Internet/Website.
The room we were assigned also had a bad smell. We asked for a different room because we couldn’t stand the smell but all they did was spray air freshener to hide/mask the smell instead of assigning us a different room.
We were planning to stay 7 nights but after the second night, we had had enough. We checked out and went to Marriott hotel. What a HUGE difference it made!
Wi-Fi at Premier Inn also does not connect. And whenever it connected, the speed was agonizingly slow. You get faster speeds from your regular phone.
The restaurant was closed therefore we did not have proper breakfast yet they still charged us full price for the stay. Felt like a rip off.
- H805EFdeborahe (10/5): Lovely Premier Inn - great location - Nice hotel in great location - lovely area, nice bars and eateries. Great view of the city and watching the world go by. Happily stay here again.
- mariasB6960LZ (8/5): Nice hotell overall - Fantastic service, especially from a wonderful woman named Danielle. Easy to check in and out. Dated rooms but clean. Great location on a calm street but easy access to restaurants and the tube. The wifi wasnt very good but it worked.
- X3695OGstephenm (8/5): Hayes town review - Location was good and room was clean. Ac in room was quite noisy and had to set it at the lowest fan setting or switch it off as it disturbed our sleep.
- P2008DBnatalieb (10/5): We loved this hotel - We stayed over the weekend for 3 nights, all staff we have seen have been super friendly, it was simple and quick to check in, was explained they don’t clean rooms everyday now but if we wanted it we could have or just ask for more towels/tea coffee stuff, our room was 704, not the best view, but we haven’t come to London to look out of our window, very short walk to Lambeth North underground station and for a bit more of a walk you can be at local attractions ie parliament, London eye, London Bridge. We had breakfast and it’s a buffet style, the staff work hard to keep it all topped up and clean, plenty of hot food available, we did also do a meal deal for 1 night, £21 for 2 course a drink and your breakfast the next day is a bargain to be had. To be fair there isn’t much choice on the limited menu however there is something, and if you want your breakfast at 10.99 you’re basically paying a tenner for 2 courses and a drink. It really is a good money saver if you need it to be. Thanks again to all staff! We will stay here again!
- Whitelegge1989 (10/5): Amazing stay in a perfect location - We visited as a family had a amazing stay in a great location hotel was quite staff where all amazing all of them couldn't do enough to make sure the customer was happy excellent people skills especially with the kids keeping them entertained with various things to do
Food was excellent especially the breakfast credit to the chef every part of the cooked breakfast was fresh enough and cooked perfect
The two ladies and the two men running the bar and reception are very good at making the stay a pleasant one
- lauraaU3041YN (4/5): Not the best - Firstly I would like to say the staff were lovely and very helpful. Probably need more on as they were having to be everywhere at the same time!!
Room was ok .. the shower was broken and the shower doors didn’t close and flooded the bathroom.. odd noises too and didn’t sleep a wink
- 856valeriet (10/5): Belle surprise - The hotel is well located, clean and the staff are very pleasant.
Hearty breakfast included and the option of half-board for dinner is very convenient (especially with children!).
- C3681OVscottm (10/5): Family London Visit - Thank you for a lovely stay. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was spot on. Food very good value and tasted great with plenty of choice.
First rate experience all round. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- G8620JCandream (10/5): Great central hotel with good sized family rooms - Excellent family room - 2 adults and 10 and 13 year old children.
Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is very well located for all the ' touristy' things, we walked everywhere .
I would highly recommend this premier inn.
- sarahmochan_ (10/5): Family trip - Good, quiet location but still central. Just a short walk to Westminster and close to North Lambeth tube station. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Perfect for a family trip to London.
- mybestfriendsparky (8/5): Nice hotel close to tube links. - Good hotel and quite close to Lambeth North tube so easy access to London.
Rooms decent but shower fell apart in my hands.
Staff were really good and attentive. Mush and his co-worker were excellent.
Food was good value and very decent considering it’s not a proper restaurant.
Would I use it again?? Definitely.
- Camper05492467558 (10/5): Good central location close to many south bank attractions - Two nights in this really central site, family room (810) . The room is perfect for our stay, clean and a great view of the night cityscape, comfy beds, this is based upon visits to other premier inns across the UK this is definitely the most comfy, slept like a log, second night ate evening meal in the restaurant which for the area was very competitive and perfectly acceptable though we would've liked a little more selection but what we had was good fayre, the two young men running the restaurant and reception were very attentive and super pleasant. Breakfast was standard PI fayre, the breakfast room is snug for the number of people using it at times and the staff work incredibly hard to get everyone through in a timely manner, hats off to them! In the room we'd have liked a few more milk pots (think this is a complaint across all hotels not just PI).
- Y4809PZmrg (10/5): Excellent hotel with great staff - I recently stayed at this hotel whilst working in the area. From the minute I entered the hotel, the staff where extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention goes to Aika, Tonima and Mish who looked after me all week. I should also mention the Breakfast staff whose names escape me. The food was excellent and always hot and a great choice. The rooms are quiet and really clean as is the restofthehotel. I stayed in another Premier Inn the month before and this experience was so much better. I am back here next month for work and am already looking forward 2 it. I would definitely recommend staying here.
- F6949CMgrahamm (10/5): Good value accommodation in a very expensive city! - Having never stayed at a Premier Inn before, I was very pleasantly surprised. The Lambeth Rd hotel is fairly new, the rooms were nice, the bed was super comfortable & the staff were lovely. We ate in the restaurant at night for dinner, it was great value and the food was really tasty. The breakfast was also great value particularly because we were a big family group with children. The selection was adequate and everything seemed fresh and tasty. The coffee was okay too. I would definitely stay there again.
- ralucam684 (10/5): ********************************** - Good locatiob,good staff,rooms clean,breakfast nice*****************************************************
- hayleybN8999MZ (10/5): Holborn is excellent - Staff couldn't do enough, we didn't book an early check in but a lovely lady stored our backpacks and when we checked in the gentleman at the desk helped us with directions to our theatre trip including bus times etc. breakfast was perfect, fresh and very tasty. I cannot fault the staff or the venue. Would definitely book again.
- A3291SDmuratk (4/5): Good location but - I stayed at the hotel for the first time based on a friend’s recommendation. Unfortunately, our experience at Premier Inn London Holborn was disappointing. Our room was on the ground floor, and the windows were locked — something we were not informed about beforehand. The room also didn’t match the photos shown at the time of booking. Because the windows couldn’t be opened, the air in the room felt stuffy and unpleasant throughout our stay. I would recommend offering first-time guests a healthier and more comfortable room option.
- Wilton2 (8/5): A Very Good Stay - Booked a 2 night stay. Had a nice room on 5th floor. Was nice and quiet and had good nights sleep. Very comfortable bed - as always. Very good shower. Had breakfast 1 morning. Breakfast had a good selection of both cooked and non cooked items. Was very good apart from the strawberries in the fruit - still frozen. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
WiFi - no info in the room on how to access.
Hotel is well located for restaurants and pubs plus only a few minutes from Holburn Tube Station. Good situ for attractions as well.
Overall a very good stay.
- HDEK123 (4/5): Not great - Poor experience, possibly unlucky. Bed wasn't made up, no cuts in room. Got moved 2nd room the same. 2nd room seemed liked it was often used. Very dusty, stains on carpets, roof tile moved off ceiling. Bathroom floor hadn't been swept/cleaned in some time. Room was pretty awful.
- maorory (10/5): Gt - Great location, nice staff , everything was ok.Very spacious rooms.Nothing to complain. Will be much better when the restaurant will open
- U217LGmariak (10/5): Great - I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy ,very close to the train station.
- J3815NZbeckyb (4/5): Stay somewhere else if you can - Horrendous - room right on the road opposite a pub. The noise with people right outside the window was terrible - did not feel safe.
The room itself was old but ok.
The shower had zero pressure and the usb port and plugs did not work. I was here for work and ended up with a dead phone and laptop.
I did request a room change which was refused - terrible service
- Karen-h-64-lincoln (10/5): Lovely hotel - Highly recommend.
Ideally situation, quiet to traffic.
Very clean, room lovely.
Staff all excellent, we left a bag in restaurant, remembered whelks we left, went back and staff had out behind reception. Thank you whoever did this.
All staff prof and helpful.
- T9919SLjanem (2/5): Dishonest - I left my pyjamas under the pillow in my room (yes my stupid mistake) however I went back the following day and housekeeping hadnt found them! Really? That means either they left them under the pillow for the next guest to find (unlikely) or housekeeping took a shine to them and stole them or threw them away, but either way housekeeping definitely found them! I am really disappointed at the lack of honesty displayed by the hotel. Premier inn have gone right down in my estimation and I’ll think twice before booking with them again!
- Resort583235 (2/5): Poor experience. - Bit of a shocker I’m afraid. New chef in the restaurant was clearly under trained. Two meals sent back ahead of mine due to being under cooked or inedible. Final straw for me was overhearing the wrong starter had been made for me. I cancelled my order and went out to eat. Wasted 35 minutes. Only 7 covers in the restaurant so not busy at all. I hope no-one was ill afterwards.
Asked for an iron and ironing board. Got the iron. Ironing board was without a cover so I was presented with a towel.
Breakfast. Stood waiting to be checked in for 5 mins. No-one about so proceeded to help myself (I’d paid for breakfast). Coffee was dishwater and overtopped the mug when being served. Cooked breakfast was sloppy.
For £260 plus for the night, this was a really poor experience.
- Ratish (6/5): - Great location , walkable distance to key central London attractions. Basic no frills room . Breakfast option is an added advantage
