Guest Reviews
- Daydream03613103509 (2/5): Do not stay in Room 1! - We are regular visitors to Liverpool and choose this premier inn on a regular basis. It's in a great location for most things in Liverpool and is usually a reasonable price.
Most of the time we have been fortunate to get a view overlooking the dock.
This time we were allocated room 1 which is on Level M.
This room overlooks the main entrance to the hotel and is one of the noisiest rooms we've ever stayed in. All night there were people arriving, but also deliveries of stock and laundry being collected and returned to the hotel.
I would advise any one checking in to refuse rooms 1-5 as you will not get a good night's sleep.
- 712eveb (10/5): Great customer service - Julia was an amazing help today. Incredibly patient and kind when dealing with a payment issue. Fantastic customer service.
- Flyer321963 (8/5): Good value - Comfortable beds, quiet nights and gorgeous listed building. Rooms need updating but can’t beat the price and location.
- 656nassers (2/5): Bad experience - I was charged £200 for a side room with no access to open air worse than a cell in prison!! This room was not worth more than £50/night! The room is interior with the window in the room is fake! The fan in the air conditioner was noisy with unbearable loud sounds and should have been replaced long time ago. The spare pillows were smelling sweat! I had to use the bathroom towels to sleep. I was tired and honestly thought if I make a foss in the reception I get no more than more misery and if you change my room you will still push this room on someone else! This was my unfortunate stay on the 29 November 2025 in this hotel.
- 544Betty (4/5): Poor accommodation - There was only one good point about this Inn ie location it is so close to the Arena.
It was worn dated and extremely cold in our room 202 2nd floor we had to get into bed fully clothed to stay warm.Very disappointed as we have stayed in all the Premier Inn in Liverpool now and this was the worst. We have stayed in Premier Inn all over the country and find that they have cut down on staffing the Inn that's why we did not go down to reception and complain.Never go back there we are going to start booking other hotels now .
- Globetrotters478 (10/5): Nice hotel, great location, worth it. - Great location, spacious room, comfortable bed, good price, and lovely staff. Breakfast and meals can be pre-ordered for the restaurant, with a good variety to choose from. What's not to like!
- jeffmW5108KS (10/5): First visit Liverpool - Excellent experience kind friendly efficient staff who helped with our questions Steven mark tash john to name a few. My first time in Liverpool. What a friendly city. All the sousers are brilliant your city is an exceptional place to visit. Thank you scousers for a great weekend
- andrewsB2021HO (10/5): Pleasant stay for a stress-free early morning flight - I stayed here for a short overnight prior to a flight. The hotel was easy to get to on public transport and the staff were friendly and polite. I had a Premier Inn Plus room, which was well presented and looked to be a good choice for a longer stay. Breakfast was good; good choice of continental and nice to have the hot items cooked freshly to order. Good location as only a 5-10 minute walk to the airport
- andrewlovejersey85 (10/5): Great break away - The location was excellent great atmosphere the room 123 was amazing I would like to stay in same room next time the value of money was wonderful
- wixon (8/5): Friendly, warm, great location - We were received warmly and given a high room with a view over the docks and down the Mersey. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the room was peaceful. We paid for ultimate WiFi but on the second day only one of us could access it so we paid for something we didn't get. Breakfast was relaxing and delicious.
- RainGlows (10/5): Great Stay. - The hotel was right on the docks, which is where I needed to be for my regional meeting. I didn’t stay for evening meals, but I did want breakfast, so when I did, it was exceptional, as I’ve stayed in many premiere inns for work through the years, and this one was my favourite stay. I come to liverpool for work, and this is the best one in the city for me. I stayed for a couple of nights, and wanted too shout out one of the team members working, don’t know if he was the manager or a general team member, but his name was Chris, and everything wasn’t too much trouble. I observed him chatting to other customers and they seemed very appreciative of what he was doing. I found the same, even though it was very busy. The room, was great, I loved some of the open brick walls, which was something I’ve not seen before. Being so close to the city, but just off the path, it was ideal for everything I needed. The only thing I found a slight hiccup with was the speed of the WiFi, as my laptop wasn’t connecting as well or my phone, but still managed.
- stephaniebW8008PF (10/5): Lovely stay ,perfect location for shopping. - We requested the same room we had the previous year and we got what we asked for .Staff on reception are very helpful and polite restaurant staff helpful and obliging. Rooms clean ,beds comfortable.Breakfast is lovely so much choice .
- Dreamer16271125112 (10/5): Faye was superb!! - Stayed here for a business trip and was met by Faye, let me tell you what a credit to Premier inn. From start to finish my time here was excellent (Thanks to Faye) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I’m even planing return trip with my wife in the new year. Only thing I could fault was the attitude of one of the managers Dean.
Thanks again Faye you really made my experience GREAT!
- Kingorotava (8/5): Close to airport - Only 10 minutes walk to airport for early flight.
Room good.
Dinner was nice and at a reasonable price.
Staff plesent.
Only negative floors are floorboards, so woken up a few times..
- lisasF2947CY (8/5): Great location but no view - The location was was brilliant. The staff are really friendly. Breakfast was the same as in every other Premier Inn which is good. One of the lift did break and a lot of people are having to take the stairs rain constantly and it was a huge puddle right inside the door, but the thing that did last down Was we paid for a view and there was no view
- teresatB3702FH (10/5): Amazing staff - Absolutely brilliant customer service. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially young women who likes to wear her slippers on her night shift lol which I loved. She was the loveliest kindest staff member I've come across recently and stayed in a few premier inns recently. So thankyou for being so friendly and welcoming young lady ur worth ur weight in gold.
- 514adrianw (10/5): Great few days in a great location - Great location, lovely hotel with many original features. Perfect location, with plenty to do on site and only a short walk to the city centre.
- Upthereds123 (10/5): Great stay/ new place - Usually stay at Moorfields but they were full so paid the extra for Albert Dock. Not disappointed. Great people, great stay with no issue. What a lovely place. Might stay here in future due to location and lovely views.
- Safari57026278553 (6/5): Average - We were a group of 20 family members from different parts of the world visiting together and although they do have big tables they insisted on separating the family during breakfast. Very disappointed
- AlandeWalden (10/5): Good central base. - The Hotel is in a historic building: a former warehouse that was the first in the world constructed with brick, steel and cast iron to reduce the risk of fire. It is also part of the largest site of graded buildings in England. As far as possible the character of the building has been preserved.
Our room was comfortable, well-maintained and clean. I'd add the small proviso that the exterior window do gather condensation, which can detract from the view over the actual dock: makes the view a bit 'foggy'. Check-in was simple and welcoming. Food is good. Obtaining a taxi is easy. It is a short walk to the historic Pierhead and both cathedrals and other attractions. We were there over the Remembrance celebrations.
I should also mention the prompt, business-like response of the staff when the fire alarms sounded early one evening. They reacted very well. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. Tip: ask for a view overlooking the dock.
- Flyer01659906977 (6/5): Don't eat there !! - Location, great. Room ,small but nice and clean
Food was terrible. Really terrible. Breakfast was edible but evening meal was really bad.
- barrio2022 (2/5): Poor Premier Inn - Very disappointed with this hotel not what I expected from Premier Inn or the beefeater restaurant.
Cleanliness in the hotel was not good, staff unfriendly and unhelpful overall not a nice experience
- northernbird18 (10/5): Short solo break - Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and couldn’t get much closer to the arena which was perfect for me. Great area with lots of bars and restaurants and sights nearby and a short walk into the city centre. If I’m ever back in Liverpool I would definitely stay here again
- lakelord (4/5): A tired hotel. - This location is well past a refurb. The standard rooms are below standard compared to other vendors and other Premier Inns for that matter. Simple things like USB connections (for charging) etc are non-existent.
Although the view from our room was nice, it was impossible to see unless you opened the window as the windows were filthy. On a positive note, the staff were efficient and friendly so no issues there.
- dawntJ9285IM (6/5): Poor checking-in Process - The hotel is in a great location, room was large and comfortable but the experience was massively let down by the poor checking in process which really needs sorting out.
Check-in was 3pm to which we had to join a very large queue, only 2 people serving on the desk and the process was lengthy. When we finally reached reception after about a 30 min wait we were told that not all the rooms were ready and we had to pay for each room separately which was bizarre as I had 2 rooms to pay for!
The hotel needs to either look at staggered checking in times or have more people working at peak times. Rooms should also be ready to check into at the stated time.
- TMIN2018 (10/5): Great value for money - Beautiful room with a great view every thing was spot less in the room slept so well plenty of hot water and super comfortable bed
- Global425760 (4/5): Noisy - Rain on the window, the window sill or similar kept us up all night. I appreciate that the rain is a natural occurrence so premier inn cannot be held accountable for that, but I don’t get kept up all night in any other habitable dwellings when it rains so it must be a flaw with the building itself, which premier inn are accountable for. Seems a strange thing to complain about but it was so loud.
- Quest53580014675 (4/5): Disappointing Experience - Booked our rooms online and paid, there was a booking change and charge which the portal information stated to pay the balance on arrival along with the parking fees for the duration. We were meet by a receptionist who was abrupt, unhelpful, and condescending, threatened to not book us in or help with parking payment. Most unpleasant experience in a busy reception area
- TheRealHG (10/5): Cosy night pre flight - Stayed here overnight as was getting on a plane early morning so needed a bed for the night.
Room was large with a plush soft bed, a very powerful shower as well as tea and coffee available in my room.
Free wi-fi was decent and staff were very friendly and approachable.
Would highly reccomend for airport travellers as there is a bus stop right outside that takes you straight to the airport. Very convenient.
- A8581OQpatrickl (4/5): Disappointed - This place needs a total revamp. Extremely tired looking inside.
We were met by cheerless receptionist who seem to have forgotten how to smile. l suppose when your work in a soulless atmosphere it much be catching.
The room was okay reasonably clean....however the bed was extremely comfortable. Which is why l give this review 2 stars instead of one.
Most of the doors in the corridors where battered and bruised especially the one connecting the hotel th the restaurant.
Then the price, it was priced at over £50 more than it normally is. l've checked it out over several different days.
l use Premier lnn several times during the year but l certainly won't be coming back to this one
- 718richies (4/5): Mouldy room. Hotel needs a refurb - The room was rank. Horrible smell when we got in. Room 30. Then figured out the bathroom ceiling was covered in mould. And the toilet barely flushes. We will never stay here again. A health risk. I can’t speak for other rooms in the hotel.
- stevenkD1593FL (10/5): Great hotel. Walking distance for the airport. - Great hotel. Booked a premier Plus Room and it was lovely (Certainly worth the few pounds extra). Didn't need to deal with any staff as used the self check in machine. Left early so didn't need breakfast but I would certainly use this hotel again if in the area. Thank you.
- natalierL495WB (10/5): Highly recommend - We booked this hotel after a flight as we didn't land till around 00:40, upon booking I called the hotel to let them know we wouldn't be checking in till around 1am, the lady on the phone was very helpful and polite. When we arrived check in was very easy. Our room was very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was lovely! So much variety to choose from as well as plenty of hot and cold drink options. All staff were very helpful and polite. We enjoyed our stay, we would definitely book again.
- jamessO6293ZK (4/5): Not what i expected - Big car park. Very friendly staff. Room was very clean but the noise levels really let it down. I was on the ground floor. I was woken every single time anybody came in or out of reception. Also the walls were so thin I could hear the couple above using the toilet like they were in the room with me !!
The breakfast was awful. The food was left under lamps and was rubbery.
Would not stay here again.
- lorraineh592 (4/5): Just not for me, not right at the airport and a bit dreary - This hotel is a 10 /12 minute walk from the airport - which if on an early flight or bad weather is not an option, £10 for a cab - no shuttle service. Rooms are dreary, bathroom was poor, bed was comfortable, would look at alternatives if staying in Liverpool airport again not good value for money for what you get and not up to Premier Inn standards - though in recent years they seem to vary greatly from location to location- some are great and some are very poor.
- G2306JMjulier (10/5): It was a perfect start to our holiday! - My friend and I booked two rooms at Premier Inn John Lennon airport hotel, the night before our flight, to Palma Majorca.
It was our first time staying at this hotel.
When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the receptionist I can't remember her name,I wish I had made a note to. Anyway this lady had a good sense of humour and she was very helpful. We booked dinner and it was delicious,my friend had a burger meal and I had the chicken curry with all the trimmings! We had an early morning flight so no time to have breakfast! The taxi booked from reception arrived on time. The rooms, bed, bathrooms we had were very clean, and modern,in fact they were spotless. The rooms were silent so we had a good night's sleep.
We will absolutely 💯 stay at this hotel again! It was also very convenient for the airport, today we walked to the hotel from the airport it took 10 minutes and is a straight path.
- LadAndHisTravels (2/5): Freezing Aircon and terrible internet - Check-in was self check-in, this was fine, but the key to one of our two rooms didn't work, so had to find somebody to make a new key, this took 15 minutes as they were all working in the bar/restaurant.
Room aircon temperature was freezing, no matter what we changed it too, but the biggest issue was WiFi, I just needed to check some emails and look at a couple of websites, terrible, it was restricted to 250kb, that meant the BBC Home Page took almost 2 minutes to load, it is an absolute disgusting practice to clean free WiFi when they restrict it so much you are forced to pay for premium which did work as advertised at 5mb
- ajb1997 (6/5): Two night stay - We recently stayed at the Premier Inn M8 J3 and found it to be a convenient and reasonably priced hotel with the added benefit of good parking facilities, although the spaces did seem to fill up rather quickly later on in to the evening. The staff were welcoming and the overall service was in line with what you would expect from a Premier Inn.
That said, there were a few drawbacks. The room we stayed in was located at the back near to what appeared to be a delivery point for goods in, as well as the waste collection area, which meant we were disturbed very early in the morning by operational noise. In addition, the traffic noise was more noticeable than expected, which further affected the quality of sleep. The hotel itself also feels a little dated and would benefit from a refresh to bring it up to the standard of some of the newer Premier Inn hotels.
- A3253QXmatthewc (10/5): Great staff, comfy beds and clean! - We had to stay here for 6 nights, because our Landlord turned our home into a building site, which wasn't safe with my mobility issues. I genuinely couldn't fault the staff and how well they looked after me and my family! Gabby, Julie, Margaret and the rest, where always happy to help and did so with a smile.
The food is great, albeit a little limited after 6 nights, the Katsu curry is particularly very tasty and the mixed grill offers good value for money, even if the steak is a little underwhelming.
The rooms were immaculately clean when we arrived, and everything you'd expect from a Premier Inn. The only criticism I can really make is with housekeeping during a long stay. We asked for a full room make up, several times. But, housekeeping kept missing things like emptying the bathroom bin, or changing the bedding, despite it being requested if we made the beds in the morning. Nothing major, just noticeable during a long stay.
While Speke is definitely not somewhere I'd choose as a holiday destination, if we ever need to be near the airport, or if our landlord turns our home into a disaster site again, we'd gladly stay here again.
Thanks guys!
- ManxieLass (10/5): Happy with our short stay here - Arrived late and stayed for one night. Check in was quick and easy which was appreciated as it was nearly 1am. Room large, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was standard but the lady who served us was friendly and helpful.
- U6755UUcherylb (4/5): 4 night stay. -
Great & helpful staff. Good restaurant with generous portions. Rooms clean but dated. Noisy wooden floors above us. Unhygienic shower curtain. Sensor lights in corridors (otherwise dim).
- Jackarino (4/5): Poor value - The rooms are tired looking, drainage poor in toilet, staff are hard to find on reception and those you did find, looked fed up. The breakfast service was poor, nothing was replenished timely even though it wasnt busy and things like cereal, fruit and herbal tea, they were awaiting a delivery, very poor. Gone are the days when a premier inn was cheap, it was expensive for 2 nights for 2 rooms with breakfast.
- 964nevilleg (10/5): Lovely hotel & lovely people. - I couldn't have asked more of this Premier Inn. Everything was brilliant. So very different to Hotel Indigo. I had the evening meal & breakfast meal deal on both nights I stayed. That saved 30%. The staff were all very friendly, helpful & had a smile on their faces. Very enjoyable & pleasant stay.
- Healsby (4/5): Hot as balls and noisy as hell - Unbearably hot in room, was 18 degrees outside but our room on the second floor did not dip below 25, much too hot for a comfortable nights sleep, despite having a fan in the room. As others have said you need to leave the window open but close proximity to M8 means it’s noisy through the night. Duvet was too thick for summer. Room was tired, too few plug sockets and old wood shelving and table. Really need to be booking hotels with AC in the summer now in the UK - premier inn need to retrofit some.
- bubbles2two (2/5): 2 star hotel, red hot room, needs a refurbishment - Good night guarantee does not exist! I did not get a good night sleep and they did not honour the policy! Do not stay here, it needs a deperate refurb. It is a 2 star hotel in the state it is in.
I explained the bath matt was disgusting along with the bath. There was silver tape on the towel rail, stains on the carpet. The description said it had no air conditioning but you could not open a window as it was so noisy outside. It was insanely hot even with the fan on. If the heat doesnt kill you the noise will. Constant doors banging, room service shouting in the morning and noise in the carpark .
The staff were lovely, when i spoke to them they agreed the bath tubs are disgusting and the place needed a refurbishment. There was no roilwt roll and the holder was filthy. Had to ask for toilet paper.
The light leaks in the room feom above the curtains.
It is worth getting the breckfast at the beefeater, if you do decide to stay, it is very good value for money.
If you have a gig at Murrayfield stadium do not stay here. You will get there but wont get back. Took us 3 hours to get home as there was no taxis.
The room had three plug sockets by the kettle none at all by the bed.
- jonathanh5392 (4/5): Tired hotel and very warm - The room was unbelievably warm and didn't cool over a three night stay
Plenty of parking and nice beefeater next door
One member of reception staff Kasia has 0 customer service skills
The place is a bit tired
- Dustin (8/5): Good but Don’t pay for internet ahead of time - Overall it was a good stay. I had paid for the “ultimate internet” at the time of booking on Hotels.com but that did not reflect on my reciept or on the paperwork that was sent to the hotel. The basic internet was free but extremely limited. The breakfast was fantastic.
- 564sianw (4/5): Avoid - stressful experience - Stayed here before an early morning flight with my husband and 16mo son. The room was nice enough - spacious, clean and comfortable.
On arrival, no staff around anywhere. Checked ourselves in using the self service kiosk. My dad dropped us off and went to find a staff member to check if he needed to pay for parking and a staff member in the restaurant confirmed the first 20 minutes were free - great.
I had previously arranged for the travel cot we were taking (as they don't provide mattresses in the ones they provide?) to be collected by my dad the following day as we would be going away for a week and did not want to travel with the cot. I confirmed this with a staff member upon check out at around 4am the next morning. He assured me it would be fine and to send my dad a picture of the collection tag which I did. Upon his arrival, the staff member he spoke to refused to give him the cot without the original tag (which was boarding a flight with me), I spoke to the staff member on the phone and he was completely unwilling to do anything remotely helpful. So I boarded my flight quite stressed and feeling bad for my dad and sent another email confirming the arrangements that had been made in advance of our stay. My dad returned later in the day and spoke to the duty manager who did return the cot to him after commenting that she had seen my email (didn't bother to reply though). We thought it had all been sorted until today - almost 2 weeks after our stay - when my dad received a parking ticket claiming he had parked overnight!! He wasn't even a guest at the hotel and literally dropped us off and picked the cot up (successfully on the second attempt). Absolutely abysmal experience and instead of being a convenient option has just made a nice holiday a totally stressful time. Would never ever use Premier Inn again. Pay a little extra and stay at the Hampton at John Lennon - save yourself the headache.
- Voyage29007983731 (10/5): Night before an early flight. - A great place to stay before an early morning flight. Well within walking distance to the airport. Usual high standard of a premier inn with a bar and restaurant too.
- Angela (8/5): - We had problems checking in as the sepf checknin couldn't find our booking. Then, I had to wait for a member of staff to come, and it took the lady a long time to get us checked in. The rooms were lovely, very clean snd spacious.
- jenbL2386IX (10/5): Great place to stay for a friends wedding. - We were part of a small group of people who were staying for a friend’s wedding - including the Best Man and the photographer. People from the group travelled from England and Ireland as well as local friends staying - including the Groom for the night before his wedding. The hotel rooms were comfy and convenient and the restaurant and bar were also great for meeting up at and having good times with our. friends. The staff were all so helpful particularly Kerrie who was knowledgable and really cared about her work. She helped the Best Man so much and sorted our shareholder breakfasts so it was easy.
- neilsA9706OW (10/5): Great Night in Livi - Had a great time staying the night before my wedding. The staff were helpful and friendly. Had a good night in the bar. The breakfast was great and set me up for my big day. The woman working reception gave me a small gift as I was leaving to get married.
- liamp555 (8/5): Decent overnight stop - Handy little hotel within walking distance of the airport.
Main entrance is hidden around the back and isn't visible or signposted in front of the hotel as you arrive on public transport.
Facilities all right, if relatively basic. Reception was unmanned when we arrived, and 1 of the 2 newly-created keycards from the self-service machine didn't work.
You pay a premium for being so close. The Travelodge is only a little further away. There is a Hilton even closer but several times the price.
- 566reenam (6/5): M8 is really noisy throughout the night - No AC in rooms, and you have to keep the window open for air. M8 motorway traffic continues all night, and you won't be able to sleep well in this hotel.
- 465siobhanf (8/5): Pretty much was what you expect from a premier inn - One of the better Premier Inn I've stayed at! Simple and easy check in/out. They attached beefeater was again one of the better ones we've used. A few hidded cobwebs but no complaints over cleaning standard. Would definitely use again.
- govinderm2025 (8/5): I enjoyed my stay. - Nice Staff, Good Parking, Good Room but no Air Con. I had som expensive items left in my room over the 3 nights I stayed, and these were not messed around with. But then again, they did inform me that nobody will come into my room, unless I requested so.
- 769nathanm (8/5): Dated for a Premier Inn but clean and comfy - One of the more dated Premier Inn locations I've stayed at (time for an upgrade soon, hopefully!) However, the room was clean and as spacious as you can expect for a family of 5. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful when checking us in.
Rooms aren't air conditioned and windows have limiters on them so in the midst of a (rare) Scottish heatwave, the room was verging on too hot to sleep in. The night was saved by the fan provided in the room and helped us all get a much-needed rest.
Great location, only 15 minutes away from Edinburgh Airport, which was the reason we chose this location. If you don't opt for the breakfast at the adjoining restaurant, the BP across the road provides a great selection of Marks and Spencers food.
- acoulton (10/5): A great night's sleep - Very handy for Liverpool Airport, smooth check-in when we arrived from our flight at 2:00am and brilliant to have a 12:00 checkout in a quiet & comfortable room so we all got a full night's sleep before the drive home.
- Elena (10/5): - Great option if you have an early flight. Good value for money.
- keithmG6701NE (6/5): Beware parking charges - I have no problem with the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for an early morning flight from Liverpool Airport and the room rates are reasonable.
But be warned, you have to pay to park there when you arrive. When I booked my room, parking was £10 a night. Not long before I was due to fly, I got an email saying the cost of parking had gone up but if I spoke to a member of staff on reception, they would honour my original price. That's just as well because it now costs £30 a night to park there (there is a slight discount available, but it is slight).
All a bit of a ripoff really and other hotels are available.
- Q5626BFfionac (8/5): Four night stay for highland show - Check in was very easy, straightforward and quick. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
Room on second floor. Clean, tidy and comfortable bed. Room was nice, roomy and airy.
Had meals next door in beefeater to which I’ll do a separate review.
Plenty car parking available and free of charge.
- Jane (8/5): - Very busy area as it is convenient to the airport
- newenglandgrl27 (2/5): Cheap and nasty - It may have been good back in the day but today is not that day.
The parking lot and entrance are littered with trash and there was an overflowing trash can by the front door. A large bag of ice melt lies on the ground forgotten on the other side.
If you are disabled or have your hands full of luggage or children you will struggles as none of the many doors are automated.
Check in was fairly quick. I did
not appreciate providing a copy of my passport when I already booked and paid in full.
The receptionist was nice and seemed to be working with a trainee. There were not many staff seen.
The room was a huge disappointment. It was run down and just not nice.
There are no amenities at all. They obviously consider soap a luxury so they don’t give you any. You can use wall mounted combination shower gel and shampoo.
I’d be careful what you eat and drink because using hand toilet is quite unpleasant. They can barely spare you some toilet tissue. Not only do you not get soft paper, it’s not even a roll rather it’s a dispenser that is wall mounted and dispenses a single sheet of rough single ply paper.
The hotel common areas are not
Clean and have a musty smell.
The restaurant was not good either. It used to be my favorite place to grab a steak.
The table was sticky at lunch. The menu changed and not for the good. Gone are the nice meals replaced with what appear to be cheap microwaved pre made food.
Breakfast is no longer a full buffet. It’s a continental buffet with the ability to order some cooked items.
It was ok but not as what we expected.
The hotel was more like a homeless shelter than a hotel.
- Foodietraveller0301 (10/5): Great short stay! Would stay again :) - We stayed for 1 night ahead of the Edinburgh half marathon so it was important we got a good night’s rest! We did - the room was warm, beds were comfy and the shower was good too. We even had a tea using the complimentary bags before leaving early the next morning. Thanks!
