Guest Reviews
- EitanM_12 (4/5): a very disappointing experience - Although we booked a room with two beds, we got a large bed and a sofa that was very uncomfortable.
The hotel only cleans the rooms upon request. When we asked to have the room cleaned, we returned and found it with the beds not made, the trash can not be emptied, the glasses in the room were not cleaned or replaced until after several requests.
The location of the hotel is very good, close to two major metro stations and in the area with many restaurants and pubs.
Overall, a very disappointing experience
- carlotam (2/5): Perfect location. Very dirty - I gave one star for the room due to the extremely poor first impression. We stayed in the Premier rooms on the higher floors, which are significantly more expensive, yet the condition was completely unacceptable.
As soon as we stepped out of the elevator, the corridor was visibly filthy. The carpets looked as though they hadn’t been vacuumed or deep-cleaned for months, with stains and dirt throughout. Unfortunately, the same was true inside our room: the carpet was dirty, and the wall was chipped.
The worst part was the bathroom. There was a clump of old hair in the sink drain, the shower tray did not drain properly ( I didn’t dare to look what was blocking it!), the shower head had visible mould, and there was also black mould around the shower screen frame. This level of hygiene is simply unacceptable.
Being a three star hotel does not excuse a lack of cleanliness. I fully understand that furnishings don’t need to be brand new, but I do expect a spotless, hygienic room regardless of star rating.
At least the reception was friendly, but that’s all.
- T9113XIpaulam (10/5): Excellent location & Great beds ! Excelkent value for money. Right beside stunning london tower - Excellent hotel Great cosy beds, Fantastic location. Delicious breakfast. Will defo come back. Highly recommend. Thank u
- martincK1403SI (10/5): Top Marks for Adriana, Khattab and Jumman at London Bank (Tower) Premier Inn - We recently took our 7 year old Granddaughter to London for her first visit, so we booked a Family Room at The London Bank (Tower) Premier Inn. We have stayed here several times and always found it to be a nice and friendly place but on our last visit it was looking decidedly tired and in need of some TLC.
I’m happy to report that it has a had a Wonderful Make Over and it looking very modern and clean, our room was amazing with a a double and single bed, plenty of space for us all and a decent sized bathroom.
Breakfast is really good and “Free for Kids” it can get very bust between 9am to 10am (so go earlier) but the staff were Absolutely Marvellous at keeping everything Ticking Along, clearing tables after each course and the food just kept on coming, a most enjoyable experience !
I would like to make mention of the Manager who had everything Running Like Clockwork, he was clearing tables himself and filling up the coffee machines. He organised his staff expertly and was very friendly and helpful, I would like to make Special Mention of Adriana, Khattab and Jumman who were Truly Amazing and always had a Smile on their Face and couldn’t do enough for us, Thank You Vey Much
- changodeyio (10/5): cosy evening - They were kind, friendly, open, welcoming, and understanding. A very pleasant and relaxing evening. Thank you to them both. See you soon.

- E4442ZRgarethe (4/5): Windowless, convenient, pricey on weekends. - It has, this Hub By Premier Inn,
all the essentials: shower, bin;
substantial telly, lounge downstairs;
slightly iffy dryer of hair.
But one flaw that you ought to know:
half of its rooms have no window.
Its airconditioning is somewhat
lacking oomph, and leaves you hot
on sweaty summer London nights;
the lighting, piteously bright
sears eyeballs till they start to steam
when fumbled straight onto high beam.
The beds are small, tho benefit
from pull-out drawers to stash one’s s***;
but for two adults seeking rest,
they are a trial, a faff, a test.
The shower’s head is weirdly low
the curtain hooks drag awful slow.
It’s drizzle more than waterfall;
you’ll bang your head should you be tall.
The only seat is plastic hell
from Tokyo's cheapest love hotel.
In sum, it does what’s said on tin;
would I return? where to begin?
Located well twixt many park
where one can lounge until it’s dark;
because once back in Hub’s dark halls,
there are no windows, only walls.
Its pricing surges on weekends
preclude us ever being friends.
Machine-dripped "coffee's" only sorta--
(double shot dumped into water).
In sum, it rates four out of ten;
I would not stay at it again.
- 239jemmac (10/5): Best Budget Hotel In Central - Lovely hotel in the heart ot marylebone - clean and quiet - great noise proof rooms so you cant hear the old marylebone road. Nice breakfast. Good sized beds and great lighting. Complementary water throughout the stay. Tidy rooms, tidy foyer, friendly staff. Easy and quick to check in. Very secure and safe. Would reccomend 10/10
- thetopof (10/5): Great stay, great staff - Great stay in this hotel again.always stay here when in London with the wife.great location for exploring everything.the staff at this hotel are amazing and made our stay this time extra special.the only gripe would be to have a staff member on the bar in the evening that can make a cocktail instead of only been able to have simple drinks but all round fantastic stay
- Kenneth1960 (10/5): Well located hotel - I like the location, clean and comfortable accommodation ( handy for public transport). Great service from the staff.
- 835chefe (4/5): Disappointing - shower too cold and no perks in premier inn plus room - Great location and reasonably cheap . However - the premier inn plus room had a lot of wear and tear. The self check in didn’t work for us on two machines, which meant we had to queue (we were told this was because there was only one set of towels, which seemed slightly odd). We were not provided with complimentary chocolates or water on either night of our stay. We asked at reception and were told someone would bring them to us, but they did not. That might sound trivial, but they advertised as one of the perks of the room. Also - the shower was too cold despite being set to the maximum temperature. Overall - disappointing and not up to the standard of many other premier inns we’ve stayed in.
- arX3765ZK (10/5): Great hotel - This hotel is in a great location rooms were great, comfortable and very clean and the breakfast was amazing as were the staff especially khatab , Jumnan and Claudia
- P9539UBrogerb (10/5): A pleasant night's stay - Easy walk from Marylebone station. I was welcomed and checked in quickly and efficiently.
My room was clean and quiet
Good value for money
I would have liked a window I slept well
- Smithy_Gang (10/5): Great Premier Inn & Staff - Great Premier Inn & Staff
I travel quite a bit from work and stop in various chains IHG, Marriot, Hilton and Premier Inn. As with all chains some can be hit and miss especially in recent times with Premier Inn (maybe because Lenny Henry left 😂). Anyway with a trip to London for and exhibition and function location was key.
After busy day I checked in the Premier Plus room which was clean, spacious and as expected. Too tired to venture out in the cold for food I opted to eat in which I rarely do. Prior to eating I had some calls to make which the staff left me to make in a very quiet corner of the restaurant that was probably closed but it was appreciated with a nice pint.
I ordered steak with the trimmings with onion rings and I’ll be honest not expecting too much. The service and food was excellent and better than some restaurants charging double.
Breakfasts have been equally good with the buffet fresh and nit stood and dried out as you sometimes find. Thanks to all the team including Naim, Ellen & Brenda
- jimmH463ZW (10/5): Another great stay at a Premier Inn. - Another great stay at a Premier inn.
A good clean and comfortable room. Nothing fancy or chintzy. A good functional room and bathroom.
I slept really well so the bed must have been comfortable.
- E9795VHdanielaa (10/5): Great - Very great place, the current price is right for the services and the area. The personnel is polite and willing to help. Everything is clean. Highly reccomend
- gwenb426 (10/5): Great location and friendly staff - Great location and helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are snug but perfect for a short stay. Nice touch to offer complimentary tea and coffee too,
- JonG290 (8/5): Clean, comfortable but customer care could be better - Clean and comfortable room. Quite expensive and an efficient, if somewhat soulless, check in experience using the digital screen. The fact that staff entered my room twice in the morning (unannounced on the second occasion) was annoying and disturbed my sleep.
- whereisthemenu (6/5): Mixed experience! Could be better - We had to move bedroom as there was black mold on the ceiling of the bedroom near the window - this may be because the extractor fan in the en-suite wasn’t working. The hotel should have not given us this room.
Good breakfast but no gluten free bread (one of us has an intolerance)
Ordered poached eggs but they took “ages” to arrive. The breakfast service is extremely under staffed when the hotel is busy eg on a weekend
One lift wasn’t working and the other didn’t stop on our floor for some reason (on occasion), all a bit random
Pillows are extremely hard
However, the hotel is well located and other aspects of the breakfast are ok eg lots of fruit, pastries etc.
- David-on-T (4/5): David on Tour - I’ve stayed at this hotel lots of times, but sometimes you just get fed up with poor service. Premier Inns now do not clean your room if you do not request it before 12 each day. You can’t even say can you do it every day of my stay, no you have to tell them at reception every day. They started doing this in covid times and now it’s standard poor service and procedure. When your paying £220 a night you expect some service, so I asked for my room to be cleaned and to a certain level it was but this excluded making the bed and replacing tea and coffee making items.
- B2620EJmarkc (10/5): Premier inn oldstreet - The Premier inn (Old street) is a fantastic location to stay if you are looking for quick and easy access to see the sites of London. The hotel has fantastic food, drinks and really friendly staff. I have been staying in the Premier Inn for over a year now and have been really pleased with my experience. All the staff have been really helpful. Especially the manager Daria, who has been very accommodating during my stay.
- Sightsee67816961238 (10/5): A gem in the heart of London - We expected a very small room with small bed and limited facilities. The reverse .. large bed good linen. Great shower and soft towels. Special place for case under the bed. No disappointments at all. All staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was the icing on the cake. We ll be back.
- dartmoorp (10/5): Great Choice - Great hôtel, fantastic views from the plus rooms on the 12th floor.
Food was consistent very good. Hakar was friendly and recommended dishes from the menu. Gordona worked efforlessly keeping the restaurant clean. Will stay again.
- MonkeyLover70 (10/5): Very friendly and helpful Spotlessly clean - Super friendly staff- Daria was very helpful and welcoming. As a solo female traveler it’s good to know that you have a welcoming place to stay.
Centrally located and super accessible- clean and tidy
- T5736XPchristinem (4/5): Shower cold - Location was good.
Staff were friendly and chatty.
Bathroo. We had trouble with the shower when the repair guy came he was friendly.
Although my husband had to go to reception twice to get the shower sorted.
When i adventially got my shower the water was not hot at all.
- evaoR810RY (10/5): Incredible! Front desk personnel was so helpful - It was a great experience, staff anee helpful and sensitive to guests' welfare. Will surely return.. it was a wonderful experience. Kudos !
- D8655ONsp (10/5): Excellent customer service - Excellent location and fab personnel: Adriana deserves a specific mention, phenomenal customer service and very helpful even before you check in. Strongly recommend, will definitely use again!
- 33grahamm (10/5): Good City Break Hotel - I enjoy the Hub brand and the hotel made a great base for the city. The compact room has a comfy bed, good shower pressure and I liked the view across the city.
The breakfast was decent and good value and I enjoyed the complimentary access to hot drinks throughout the day
Staff were friendly and helpful.
- kenuvan (10/5): Great first experience of the Hub. - This was the first time of trying the Premier Inn Hub and I was sceptical initially. After seeing the rooms online I thought it may be a little small and cramped.
How wrong I was. We went for the larger hub room and there was plenty of space. All that is normally expected of a Premier Inn but at a cheap price.
The room was comfy, bathroom clean and large enough with an exceptional shower.
Breakfast was excellent for only £8 and also free coffee in the bar at anytime. I much prefer this to having the kettle in room.
- E8932CQkyleh (10/5): Great hotel, great location - Great hotel with great staff. We stayed with our young family for my partners birthday. It's a perfect base for going out site seeing the delights of our capital city, Very close to the Old street underground Northern line
- Compass44512085988 (10/5): Mina and Arun made the stay a delight - Very fine experience. Great staff. Helpful. We want to highlight Mina who is a joyful person and very attentive. She could train all the Hub hotels on how to be! Also we appreciate the care and consideration of Arun who helped in myriad ways. When we return we hope to see them again.
Definitely try the breakfast, top notch!
- Marbeag (10/5): Great central location - Location was amazing! Views of sky garden and the shard! Walking distance to many famous attractions! Walking distance to the underground! The kids loved the welcome pack on arrival! Clean, modern rooms! We will definitely be back when we return to London!
- G6661SEstevew (10/5): Excellent stay - Stayed two nights Hub Marylebone, very pleased with all aspects of this Hotel, although the rooms are not large they have everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
The breakfast was very good for a very reasonable cost.
The Bar area in the hotel is also very good also.
I would certainly recommend this for a place to stay in London.
- StrangeKindOfWoman (10/5): London Family Trip 2025 - This was my family's 2nd time staying at this hotel. We stayed here in 2023 and had no complaints. Great location(5 minutes from Monument Tube Station),Attentive staff and lovely room.
- 75vaughanm (10/5): Great experience - I had an exceptional experience. The team at Old Street are “second to none”. Daria and Naim are amazing always looking out for us. Will definitely return :)
- 589jehanm (10/5): Fantastic! - Fantastic staff, delicious breakfast! Dinner menu is nice. Rooms are clean, super comfortable and we had a great night sleep!
- teresabQ5741BN (6/5): Oh dear not too good - Although the room was a nice comfy bed etc the restaurant and bar was dreadful. Sorry but such delays in delivering food ordered and bad food too.
- SteinN19 (10/5): A sentral Hotel with good service - Exelent service. The room had everyting you need. Good breakfast t
Gave a good start on a busy day. A couple of minutts to the underground.
- angiem939 (8/5): Great overnight stay - but more towels please! - My partner and I decided on an overnight stay as we had things to do in London on the Saturday and Sunday, so rather than go home we decided to book a hotel. On the whole the experience was really good. We were only in the hotel briefly to get changed from travelling and then to sleep. The location was great and we both liked the room. It was nice and quiet at night and we both slept really well. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived.
The only downside we felt was that the booking was for 2 people, however there was only 1 big towel in the room. We didn't notice that until the following mornning unfortunately and neither of us wanted to go down to reception to ask for another one so we ended up using the same towel between both of us which wasn't idea. We did look in obvious places in the room to see if there were any extra's. So please, if the booking is for 2 people, please provide 2 lots of towels.
Otherwise a great hotel and one we will be using again.
- elizabethmE8695BS (10/5): Excellent and welcoming stay - Welcoming friendly staff and very clean room. Stayed for 5 nights and the reception area was always spotless. Rokeya and Rodica were both particularly helpful and worked very hard even late at night to look after everyone.
- I4410CRsharonm (2/5): Poor customer service - Only good thing was the location.
Not a good experience.
You had to ask to get room serviced before 12pm daily. Twice we asked, one day at 6.30am and next day at 7:00am and left tag on door and neither day was the room serviced. Towels had a revolting smell to them. Booked into restaurant for dinner at 8:30pm one night only for lady to tell us they were too full and no. The gentleman who booked us in did get us a seat but the lady was aggressive when serving us and was swearing and angry throughout the evening at the man. Was very uncomfortable especially when the restaurant didn't have many people in it.
Customer service really let them fien
- A9294WMcatherinem (10/5): 2nd Visit - Great location, our second time at this hotel. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Great breakfast and a comfortable and quiet room/bed.
- GrahamMcM (6/5): Rooms not ready for check in - Checked into this hotel at 3.30pm and there seemed to be a problem. Check in took longer than usual as they seemed to be struggling to find us rooms. I was there with my brother and we had booke d a room each. We were allocated rooms and when we went to them they hadn't been cleaned. There were towels on the floor, the bin full and the bed unmade. When we went back to reception the receptionist was very apologetic and helpful. He allocated us new rooms and it was second time lucky for my brother but not for me, my room hadn't been cleaned again. Again the receptionist apologised and said there was a problem on his computer system meaning he couldn't ascertain which rooms had been cleaned. Then he allocated another room but this time he went to check it was clean before giving me the key and third time lucky I got a clean room this time. He couldn't have been more apologetic and it wasn't his fault but it wasn't really a good look for the hotel getting an unclean room which I've never had on any of my four previous stays at this hotel.
After the initial problems were sorted out I enjoyed my stay. The rooms had been renovated since I was last there two years ago, the beds were comfortable and the room was also very quiet. Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is close to Monument and Bank underground stations giving good links to the rest of London.
- david-jane27 (10/5): Massive Rooms - Family of 2 adults and 2 children staying for one night. Check in quick and friendly. Room was enormous! Very clean, great bathroom. Faultless for a one night pit stop!
- Curious55986304708 (2/5): Terrible - Cushions were uncomfortable, hairdryer didn't work, cleaning was slapdash (full bin bag left on the side, hair and debris left around, cleaning cloth left out) and worst of all we were placed by the main doors from the elevators into the rooms, which banged everytime somebody came and went, my husband has epilepsy which means sleep is very important, and despite our complaints absolutely nothing was done.
- jerryf2025 (10/5): Great management and service! - Harris and Shamin had amazing service. Great job guys thank you so much for a great experience for our London visit! Definitely going back on our next visit!👍
- X1559GBpeterr (8/5): Room clean, tidy, refurbished and quiet. Avoid the restaurant - Refurbished room on the 5th floor is nice, spacious and clean. A food nights sleep as it was quiet. The restaurant is poor - bith food and service - and is best avoided. The room wasn't cheap at £254 a night - you'd think they would try a little harder with the restaurant at that price.
- Sightsee01852283903 (10/5): Second time around. - For me my second visit and won’t be the last.
This hub is located well for everything. Buses and tube are local. Good eateries and museums close by and excellent. neighbourhood.
Staff here are amazing and will do anything at all for you.
Rooms are lovely, although no tea and coffee in the rooms, always available downstairs 24/7.
Very clean rooms. Breakfast is great and plentiful.
We had a room on the top floor and were fortunate enough to have good weather so the views across London were fantastic.
- Simen (8/5): - Location, location, location.
- vaniyam2025 (10/5): Lovely stay - Staying at the hub was such a fantastic experience, especially with the late-night bar. The drink options were plentiful, and I really enjoyed trying them out. The atmosphere was vibrant, making it easy to unwind and have a good time. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun night out.
- BearsHol (2/5): Insect bites and head office denial - Came home covered in insect bites. Complained to Head Office and Environmental Health. No tea and coffee in the rooms. Food was mostly overcooked and cold. Just a horrible stay.
- Jchurchill_15 (10/5): Great place to stay - Me and my partner stayed here for two nights and I cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are compact yet spacious at the same time everything is laid out perfectly. The room was clean and everything was new and in good condition. Really good vibes from the lounge/bar area especially as they have free coffee from a bean to cup machine whenever you want it. We were worried that because of the small rooms it would be noisy however I did not hear anybody all night extremely quiet and all the doors are soft closing to avoid slamming. Lovely stay highly recommend.
- W7180OXveronicam (6/5): Great location but no fresh air in the rooms - Perfect location and in a well serves area of London but not very clean rooms and... please give us the opportunity to open the windowas and get some fresh air from time to time. The air in the room was thick and humid!
- GORKEM (8/5): - check in and check out time is bad
- 896stewartp (10/5): Have the breakfast!! - Good value, delicious all you can eat breakfast, comfortable bed, great location. Would definitely stay here again!!
- ShilS (2/5): Good location, poor cleanliness - Location was the only good thing about this hotel.
Cleanliness of room is in need of major improvement. Each day the room was supposedly “cleaned’’ we came back to a filthy bathroom which had visibly not been attended to. The only thing the cleaner did was change the towels.
There was remnants of toothpaste/hairs/dust etc covering the white good surfaces.
Dirty mugs were left and not replaced meaning we had to request clean ones from the bar.
Infact, one of the nights my partner had an accident on the bed (she was menstruating at the time) and it was visibly soiled on the outer surface of duvet cover - this should have prompted the cleaner to change the duvet even without request however instead it was left like this for the duration of the stay.
Due to the above, we did not feel that we were in a clean and comfortable environment and this affected our ability to get a good nights rest.
In addition, reception and restaurant/bar needed to be staffed better - there was only one person manning both reception and bar with extreme long periods of wait times to be served each day/night - customers were all disgruntled by this.
- 210keelyr (10/5): Superb stay - We stayed here as we were visiting Wembley for a concert. It’s a great location, 5 minutes walk from Marylebone and 9 minutes direct train to Wembley stadium. The hotel was fantastic, clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a larger double room on the 5th floor. An easy walk into the lovely Marylebone village with their fab deli’s and shops. Staff were polite and efficient. First time in a hub hotel and would definitely stay again and recommend.
- 465davef (8/5): Location just right for us, decently priced (for London) - Located just right for us (near the family members we were visiting), decently priced for London, and reasonably quiet and comfortable. Despite the QR code reader failing to read my printed QR code, check-in was pretty good. We will certainly stay here again for future family visits.
- Valerie (10/5): Excellent stay for a family - We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the bed/pillows were super comfy. We had plenty of space for our family of 4. The location was perfect to the Tower of London, plus many shops and restaurants.
- V1713JUjaym (6/5): Helpful staff but poor facilities - The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was very busy but the staff always ensured the service was to a good standard and that there were no food shortages.
The rooms were very dated compared to other premier inns I have stayed in which made it feel worse value for money.
- 603LauraW (2/5): Threatening behaviour to female guest by the night duty manager - I have used Premier Inn many times for business and used this one to stay with my children. Very aggressive and intimidating behaviour from the duty manager when we checked in, coupled with waiting until 1am in the morning for bedding.
Raised with head office and nothing has been done, also asked for the GM of the hotel to contact me but hasn’t.
If they had monitored the CCTV that was above the reception desk that evening it would show how disgraceful his behaviour was.
The whole experience with Premier Inn has been in-excusable and will not use this chain again.

- Bekir (10/5): - The hotel was great and the beds simply spectacular as advertised. The staff was very helpful but if you are going to this hotel, know that there aren’t as many staff members as you may be used to at other hotels. Breakfast buffet was very good. The location is excellent, but please mind that it is on a narrow cobblestone dead-end street that’s some walking distance from the nearest station. If you have luggage, choose Uber for travel.
- CORAL ELENA (10/5): Excelente para familias - El hotel excelente ubicación a un min del sky garden. Todo el personal muy amable y la comida del
Restaurante excelente, los niños son gratis al consumir un adulto .
- Manuel (10/5): - Great Stay in London
The hotel is spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. It’s in a great location with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to get around the city. Despite being central, it’s wonderfully peaceful at night. Breakfast is fresh, generous, and excellent value.
- Florian (10/5): - Very close to several public transport platforms.
In walking distance to Timo, the tower, the Tower, Bridge and Evering alongside the Thamse.
Also, just a five minute walk to the borough market.
- Rahul (10/5): - Hotel was very well maintained. Everything worked well except key card access. Had to change card almost everyday.
Othe than that, this is the best place to stay. Quiet, easy acess to 24 hr. Tesco, Underground train and taxi or Uber.
Staff was also very helpful.

The hotel Is nice, well located and breakfasts are awesome.
My problems however started after I left the hotel.
I had to cancel last night of my stay due to other circumstances, hotel receptionist confirmed I will be issued a refund for unused night. However few days later I realized that my card was charged for the whole stay, including the cancelled night.
I reached out to Expedia. Few hours later I received a notice that they cannot contact the property and cannot issue me the refund.
So, I called the property, a person asked me to fill the form on Premiere Inn website, another few days later I received a notice saying that they won’t talk with me because I booked via Expedia.
I reached back to Expedia, and they basically refused to help.
Next time I will book my hotel direct.

- Francisco (10/5): - I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations—from the warm and welcoming staff to the spotless rooms and excellent amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the service. The location is perfect—within walking distance to the Tower of London and London Bridge—which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.
