• X1043CZpaulg (10/5): great service and location - Must praise the service I received in the hotel. I'd booked for the wrong date, John and his colleague at reception were super helpful for sorting me out. The 14th floor bedroom was nice and clean, with a a view on the city. Recommended.
• B4767IIcherylm (10/5): Excellent - Our room was spacious and clean, walk in shower room was excellent, clean and spacious too for any type of wheelchair and 2/4 people. The endless supply of tea, coffee, sugar and curtains of milk from the reception day and night. Lovely to be able to bring in food and drinks of your liking and its great they like to recycle too. The meals were picture perfect and delicious Breakfast was brilliant, full English and continental with extras and you can go up for more. I was allowed to take some of the food back upto my room for later, as long as I didn't go overboard and take all the tasty blueberry muffins.! The staff were helpful,cheerful and go out thier way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. Top marks for everything I experienced and yes I definitely will stay at the premier Manchester city. • DixieJSuds (10/5): Good quality night sleep in Manchester - Stayed on the 6th floor at the Premier Inn Manchester Central 28th Nov 2025. Lifts were super quick & quiet. Room was lovely & clean with quality comfy beds & bedding. Our room was at the front & had Triple Glazing. Although Trams do go past on the road below we never heard any noise at all. This Hotel was "Perfect" for The Bridgewater Hall. It was practically next door & only a 2 min walk away. After going to a show in the evening we came back to the bar connected downstairs for a drink & prices are reasonable. Manchester Oxford Train Station is only a couple of blocks away & Manchester city centre is walkable & lots of bus/tram/train options available. We ordered the Buffet Breakfast in the morning & the Full English Breakfast was lovely. Lot of other choices available Cereals, Yogurts, Fresh Fruit, White/Brown & Seeded bread, Croissants, Fresh Cakes & variety of Juices & Hot Drinks with good Tea & Coffee Selection.
• 276cazt (4/5): Not so Premier anymore! - The cleanliness on arrival was poor in the reception and corridors. The fan in the bedroom was loud that I had to turn the heating off to get some sleep and could still hear the fan next door. There was an alarm going off on the scaffolding outside for over 2 hours during the night. There's no parking so had to park next door which cost a fortune. There's only one plug on one side of the bed to charge your phone. No biscuit with your tea/coffee and not bottle of water on arrival. Lots of costs being cut but still charging the same. The overall quality of Premier Inn has gone down this past year.

• lindajO9638GP (4/5): Not great at Manchester ( disappointed for a Premier ) - Hotel ok , shower had some problems , parking was a nitemare for this inner city hotel , ring road to navigate , nearest car park at Central , under the building , quite a walk , stairs and a busy road and tramline to cross .£66 to add to bill for car park charge Breakfast was ok , no one around much first morning , left empty box out of tea , still not replaced following morning ( sloppy attention to service ) went onto Southport next night , much better in every way !!!

• KellySt94 (4/5): Stained bedside table - I had a mixed experience at this hotel, when I stayed overnight for a work meeting the following morning. When arriving staff were friendly and attentive and check-in went smoothly. However, when I went into my room there was… a suspicious white substance… over my bedside table and bedframe of the liquid variety… 🤮 I went down to reception to complain and the receptionist looked a bit non-plussed but apologised and sorted me another room which appeared better but it did put me off, understandably! Mistakes happen and this was clearly missed but I probably wouldn’t stay here again

• Beth1923 (4/5): Premier plus lacking the plus - Premier plus room was lacking in comparison to other premier plus rooms at different locations. The hair drier and coffee machine both didn’t work. The room and bathroom was also small again in comparison to other premier plus rooms I’ve stayed in where they were almost double the size. Would definitely say for value for money was not there as it was relatively expensive for what you got. Unfortunately, I’ve come away disappointed of spending that much money for a hotel room.

• bernardo912 (4/5): Avoid, there are many better. A very run down restaurant with unhelpful staff . The hotel is not the best either. - I stayed at this hotel with my wife as we were going to a nearby show that evening. I had already checked in prior to arrival. The weather was stormy so we decided to eat in the restaurant The Bishopgate which is the attached Premier Inn restaurant serving the hotel. Hotel reception staff informed us that we did not need to book but just turn up. This was far from reality. When we did go to the restaurant at 5.15 we were told by the staff that they would not serve us as they were fully booked. When I told them that the hotel reception said I did not need to book they just said that they were wrong and the restaurant was not the same company as the hotel. When I pointed out the internal door between the two there was no reply. I was left with no option other than to seek out a local restaurant to eat in. We did use the restaurant for breakfast and found it in need of a complete refurbishment. Torn and dirty seating that is well beyond its expected lifespan. The breakfast itself was mostly cold although some items were luke warm. The fried eggs had obviously not on the heat very long in the kitchen as there was very little egg 'white' but a lot of clear uncooked egg. It's not difficult to fry eggs but seemingly beyond the abilities of the 'chef'. As for the hotel itself, it was very basic but functional. The bed was at least comfortable and the tv worked. The bathroom was exceptionally small. It was not possible to stand in front of the sink without the back of your legs being in contact with the toilet seat. Would I recommend this hotel? No. I have stayed in other Premier Inn hotels, even in Manchester, and never felt the need to review negatively. They must look at this establishment and make improvements.

• Pacmama (10/5): Ticked all the boxes. - Great location for the bridgewater hall. Lovely clean room Restaurant attached was lovely. Nice little corner with a Christmas teee and a fire. Food basic pub grub but nice enough and reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

• binapiraeus (8/5): Good service as always, great view over the city - An unusual place to stay, I must say - above nine floors of car park! The view from up there is very interesting, though, and we got all the ushal Premier Inn amenities: soft bed, quiet and dark room, big TV set, tea and coffee, bathtub, plus very friendly staff and good food and drink on the site. The only problem was the temperature: both our room and the restaurant were a bit cold.

• neilsI1079HE (2/5): A hotel in need of a refit. - Tired, worn out rooms with flaking trim on the desk. I would be careful walking in bare feet on the carpet. The room was 17 degrees when I entered and took a couple of hours to get to 21c. The whole place is covered in scaffolding. It is obviously waiting for a refit and I would wait for them to finish this before booking this hotel. There is a radiator at bottom of the stair well, not attached to the wall anymore but still wired in. The staff on the evening shift were great, helpful and engaging. The meal I ate was a watery curry with 4 pieces of chicken, tasted great though. The breakfast staff must have just finished a shift at Strangeways prison. 'Name----room----sit where you want'. No coffee machine, it was broken and you had to resort to plastic sachets of cheap instant coffee (no one explained this and it took 6 minutes to find the prison officer to ask about the machine). Sausages were under cooked, nothing brown about them, like they were boiled. Tomatoes were sour, no eggs at all. I paid over £200 and have had better stays at a youth hostel.

• siobhanj68 (10/5): Would definitely recommend - We have just returned from a two night stay in this hotel, I could not recommend it enough. On the evening we arrived Leigh and Sylvia were the perfect hosts, Sylvia making the check in process seamless and Leigh providing great service and menu advice at dinner time, the accommodation was clean, spacious and warm, well wanted, considering how cold Manchester was Saturday.. I would definitely stay here again, there is scaffolding but this obviously temporary, it didn’t impact on my stay in anyway
• ruths388 (6/5): Ridiculous cost to park - The room was comfortable and shower great. However, the entrance wasn't apparent given all eth scaffolding and the cost of any nearby carpark is quite frankly extortionate. I was stunned to discover there was no reduced rate agreed with the nearby NCP so it was £30 to park overnight. As such, I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend either

• Brock5909 (8/5): Had a great time but ....... - First things first, we had a great time here and would return (when the scaffolding has gone). We stayed for one night for the Christmas markets and had a lovely time. Staff at the hotel are really lovely and very helpful but not always easy to find. I think cleaning is not quite as good as it used to be but this is true of the three Premier Inns we have stayed at in the last three months. It tends to be the general public areas that are less good, not the hotel rooms. We paid for Premier Plus (and would do so again) but our toilet bowl had a spider web crack in it, our sink a thin crack and the bath front a hole in it. Not quite what I expected! We would not let the scaffolding stop us if we had a near booking but it is true that it looks like a building site from the exterior. Premier Inn have done what they can and placed a covering on the windows that prevents anyone from seeing in. Will return in the future.

Very comfy bed and peaceful rooms. Had a great sleep. Very good value for money food and drink offers. Staff were polite and friendly. Overall a very good experience at this hotel.

My friends room had even more blood stains than my room. There were also lots of questions splatters around the room that looked like 'bodily fluids'.

• MartinW4726 (8/5): Good stay - Stayed one night for the Duran Duran concert at the co-op arena, good location, 10 mins walk to Piccadilly station and easy to get the tram to the venue. Easy to park in the attached Circle car park (extra charge, can pre book) and walk straight into Premier Inn from inside the car park. Large room, bathroom was very clean, (nice to see no signs of mould at all) bit of dust on skirting boards by bed in the room n couple of marks on the carpet by the mirror, but generally cleanliness standard was good. Bed mattress and pillows could have been more comfortable, ok sleeping on your side but not comfy led on your back, but have slept on far worse. Tried both sets of pillows provided. Breakfast was very good, cooked items looked recently done and appetizing, the tomatoes were properly grilled with some colour on them! Overall the stay was good.

Avoid booking the Meal Deal - Unbelievable how bad this eating place is it's filthy! shiny arm chairs I the bar, with grime stained dining chairs, sticky tables and a dirty filthy wooden floor, first night food over done spring rolls after a very long wait, then virtually nothing left on the menu, unfortunately we were booked for our second night as we have the Premier Inn Meal Deal and that's when it all kicked off with people walking out after at least an hour wait, we still stayed faithful as we had a young child, but things didn't get better with the manager of the Premier Inn jumping in accusing the the restaurant of bringing them in the to disripute! LoL we did pay Premier Inn so they were responsible, I do not blame the staff of Table Table the two lasses were brilliant and so apologetic at the lack of trained Chefs or new Chefs, I actually wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to also run the kitchen along with the bar and restaurant. I blame the Company, ultimate responsibility lies with the Premier Inn who we booked the Meal Deal through. Photo of the Vegetarian Pizza that lacked Veg, it literally had a bit of Mushroom! We waited 90 minutes for this. We are booked to go to this Premier Inn again in January but will be eating elsewhere.

• 583lee (10/5): A great experience - A great experience all round. We visited Manchester as a family to combine business and a day out in the city with our boys. From start to finish the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. A special mention to Mark cooking breakfast who was so friendly and concerned to ensure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and we had dinner there too. Big thanks to Tamara for our meal which was delicious. The room was pretty much what you expect from a Premier Inn. Comfortable, clean and our 2 boys fitted into their separate beds well. Being so high up above the traffic, we didn’t hear anything of the flyover close by. In fact we had a great view which was a bonus. Parking is operated by NCP, so we did have to pay for that separately which we could do via an app or visiting the pay machine as we did upon leaving. All in all, I can’t fault our stay which was really nice and Emma on the front desk did all she could to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Manchester.

• R99QSalanm (10/5): Never a disappointment. Wonderful staff. Excellent value. - Arrived here after abandoning our booking at The Pendulum Hotel a short walk from here. The Pendulum was a huge mistake. We paid £50 more to stay here at Premiere Inn which was money well spent, with polite, helpful and cheerful staff (especially the cheeky Chappie in the kitchen who was far too cheerful at breakfast time 😆). The room was as expected for a Premier Inn. Clean comfortable and spacious with fresh decor and a sparkling en suite. The bed, huge and so very, very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent value and short of nothing. Our cook on the morning was only too happy to provide us with fresh cooked Vegan sausages. The staff during our visit (27-28/09/25) were fantastic and a credit to themselves and to Premier inn. Thanks for making our short stay so pleasant.

When we arrived there were only two beds in the room instead of three, but Julia at reception sorted it straight away. By the time we came back later, she’d added another bed, tidied the room, and even left colouring pencils and sheets for my daughter. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made a difference to our stay. She clearly takes pride in her work. Thanks again, Julia!

• luxykaur885 (2/5): Worst hotel ever!!! - Worst stay ever staff were rude disrespectful and awful major refurbishment going on looks like construction site hotel normally I stay at Travelodge big mistake not booking a night there instead I would have got it cheaper and been much more comfortable. Disappointed and Quite frankly will never be staying here again.

More signage about needing to use your room key to access your floor would have saved me a couple of trips up and down on the lift, thankful for the kind person who pointed that out to me.

• denfrusnamunnen (6/5): Alright but was forgotten about. - Have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years and I've never really had any complaints. Felt a little disappointed about my stay here, however. I pre-booked an early check in, however on arrival there didn't seem to be a room for me and I had to wait in the lobby for quite a while whilst the issue was worked out and I eventually got checked into an accessible room which was the only one available. I don't really understand why there wasn't a room available for me upon arrival - surely if I have booked for early check in then they would ensure there would be a room available? It wasn't great because I'd been up since 4am and just wanted to sleep for a bit after my flight back to the UK! Food was really nice in the hotel, but I also didn't get the drink I ordered with my food, which was quite disappointing! It didn't put me off staying at Premier Inns in the future, but I don't think I would return to this one as I couldn't help but feel like I'd been forgotten about for my entire stay there!

• clairewych258 (6/5): Standard weekend stay! - Hotel is situated above Circle Square NCP. The “parking for guests” is on level 8, be wary that the car park is a little dizzying. Also, the lift for the hotel is on one side of the hotel, and the NCP lift is on the other. The NCP clocks your reg plate upon entry, and you pay on the ground floor machine when you’re ready to leave. Hotel reception is on floor 9, and takes you into the lobby. They have self serve kiosks but they didn’t work for us so we went to reception and got sorted there. The Room - We had a double room with a view, and was on the 15th floor. The view was great. The windows don’t open at all. Not even a touch. They do have aircon and it worked well. Amenities are standard, nothing fancy. Tea, Nescafé coffee, long life milk, sugar, sweetener and kettle. Bathroom amenities include hair and shower gel (combined) and hand wash. Double bed, supplied with one pillow each. Extra pillows are above the wardrobe in a tamper seal bag. There is also a hair dryer. The tv is standard, with freeview channels. Breakfast was good! The hot breakfast was delicious, and the chef was very friendly. Hot drinks are available via machine, and cereal/toast/muffins and a small selection of fruit and yoghurt is available too. The view itself from the restaurant is fab! Staff are friendly, the the place is clean! A bit overpriced for what you get I’m afraid. But we had a nice weekend overall.

• nickdE3477FE (2/5): Sodding abysmal - Accommodation was ok , staff under manned which led to diabolical service at evening meal and the food was awful , no stock so lack of choices (to the bare minimum ) order a steak pay extra to find out they have only a half a steak left some 20minutes after ordering , all food arrived not cooked to request , they asked how my steak or half of it needed to be cooked , I requested well done, arrived dripping with blood , had wait at the bar to request malt vinegar, while staff ignored me and carried on serving a constant cue which arrived after me drinks from the bar (lack of staff). So by now really bad food and lack of choice poorly cooked ignorant staff and cold food , but the check-in was easy
• I473DBpaulb (6/5): Cheap, for a reason. - Building under maintenance. Drilling noise can be heard during the day. Room smelt of damp and windows would not open. Reasonable price and location.
• I4897YCvickyb (6/5): overall is good, hopefully the room service will be better. - good location, good canteen, nice and friendly staff. however the room service can be better, 3 nights 3 people only had 3 towls, no one cleaning the bins.
• Kat394 (4/5): Stay elsewhere- active building site - You would be better off staying at one of the other nearby Premier inns rather than this one. It’s currently covered in scaffold and an active building site with work starting at 8am each day. The rooms were also tired tatty and not particularly clean compared to other Premier Inns I’ve stayed at before. Overall not great at all.
• Z5989QWravid (10/5): Amazing Service - I stayed in the Premier Inn Plus room. The room was great and the service was amazing. The fuse in my laptop charger needed replacing, and I asked at reception to see if they had a spare, but they did not. The lady working on the night of 01-09-2025 went out of her way to give me the fuse from her phone charger. Wow, amazing service, I was meeting with an important client the next day, and this amazing lady saved my lead. Thank you to the lady and Premier Inn for hiring AMAZING staff.
• mrdigitalpanda (10/5): One of the better premier inns - I stay at this Premier Inn regularly for work and it’s always a reliable experience. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable and well kept. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Breakfast is a pleasant start to the day not overly busy, so there’s never a rush and the food is well presented. Overall, a solid and dependable choice for business travel.
