Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): - My room was quiet considering the neighborhood below the hotel is a busy pub area
- Peter (8/5): - Bra läge, ren och fräscht, mycket bra frukost!
- uk144 (6/5): Average and poor breakfast. - Good location. However difficult to drop bags because of parking. Overnight parking a bit of way from hotel and expensive. Breakfast dried up ( bacon hard and eggs rubbery). It is not what the adverts say.
- 915paulineb (2/5): Not a good experience - Very unhappy with the stay. Arrived after daughter graduation in Bristol no on-site parking have to stay in all night car park a mile away and pay for that privilege. We had no idea. Restaurant for breakfast was freezing as automatic glass doors kept flying open. Staff were very dismissive and rude. Reception took ages to answer phone when approaching the venue but we're polite whilst on site.
- marktH841BS (8/5): Midweek overnight stay. - My wife and I visited during the week on a Thursday night.
The hotel is centrally located with excellent parking.
The room was warm and comfortable and the check-in was a breeze.
The food was reasonably priced and surprisingly good and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
All in all an enjoyable stay.
- V7122FGphilipk (6/5): How cold is it at a premier inn? - We has a family were very disappointed with our stay
The room was very cold together with common areas We were told the heating was broken and they had been waiting two weeks for repairs.
We were given a heater which was electric hence to use it we had to leave a card in the room hence a possible fire hazard but we were advised to do this by an employee.
The breakfasts were reasonable and on the whole staff were adequate.
As a result of the lack of heating my wife has been unwell and was glad to get home
We have used premier inns on numerous occasions and are very disappointed
- lilyo541 (4/5): Worse premier Inn we have stayed in - I normally love premier inn but this one is awful housekeeping obstruct the corridors with all there trolleys and rubbish blocking my wheelchair access and they decide to dump it all outside of a wheelchair accessible room! Room 207, awful for signal couldn't access my phone services and internet, premier Inn WiFi don't work. Such a shame as this premier inn has 3 reliable lifts and it is right next to the bus station which was ideal for us flying back from Alicante, staff were lovely but those 3 things are the only positives
- PierreGas (10/5): Premier Inn Briddlington stay this week - Stay at Premier Inn Briddlington
I stayed there from Wednesday night to Sunday morning this week..
Despite the car park being difficult to find at night if you have never been there, I had a lovely stay.
Staff all around were helpful even late at night on my arrival,I was delayed by the snow between the motorway and the hotel...
Breakfast was amazing, can not faut it...
- Mrsmiddi (8/5): No heating in the snow! - Arrived with friends and family checked in at 3. Two couples in premier rooms all fine but couple in standard room paid for their room only to be told after that there room had no heating after! A small heater was placed in the room was told by lady on reception this was on a day where it was snowing and very cold! Was told no room available to swap to as hotel full! Was told by reception that they had tried to contact everyone to let them know but we had had no contact whatsoever! The heater in the room was very unsafe as feet were damaged. Was told the next morning that the heating wouldn’t be repaired during our stay but still no offer of any change of room. After speaking to a different receptionist was told to contact customer services as no manager available which we did only to be told nothing can be done till we checked out. Was asked was we offered alternative accommodation no we weren’t! Anyway basically we had to put up with no heating for two nights and use a dodgy heater! Luckily the two premier plus rooms were excellent and the rest of the party were happy. £5 a night to park paid on arrival and hotel is in a great location. On returning home we did get an email to say our money we had paid for the room with no heating would be refunded. Overall a good stay but slightly disappointed with the attitude of staff and communication with us
- seffdowniecorbett (6/5): Comfortable enough - The lady front desk staff was unpleasant which was however changed by a better service coming from the next day staff (Samuel). The new room where we have been transferred made a huge difference with our unpleasant experience.
Parking needs to be paid as u have parked otherwise you might end up paying fine.
- A2095EAcolinb (10/5): A most enjoyable and relaxing stay - Very courteous, professional and helpful staff. Not just the receptionists but room attendants and catering personnel as well.
Clean, tidy and clutter free.
- FalmouthLucy (8/5): Great value room with everything we needed - We thought a very good and convenient hotel haven't been here in many years but would definately return.Great for gig at Thekla We had a super room on 3rd floor and view of water.Clean bed was comfy and as a Sunday night quiet outside so could have window open.Fridge coffee machine and iron in room.Easy to park outside for £6 till 9 am and we just topped that up for an hour .Staff were friendly and efficient
- AndyLaz65 (10/5): Excellent and what a view - Pretty standard premier inn.
Clean and comfortable, bed lovely.
Great view from the 4th floor.
Samuel on reception was great, went that extra mile to make us feel welcome.
- 996angie (4/5): Premier Inn not like it use to be…. Cleanliness is a major issue… sheets get changed but that’s about it - Rooms were tatty and dusty. Net curtain was badly creased and had holes in it.
Towels were grey and like concrete… I asked for some newer ones but that was the best they had!
Check in staff were miserable and not welcoming at all….
- M2851PGalanc (8/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - ideal central location, especially for the Beacon Centre with its varied concerts, also shops close by to browse. Great choice of restaurants. Only downside is the check-in-time is 3pm unless you want to pay £15.00 more
- M2818ISjohnm (4/5): Needs updating - Our first time at Bridlington Tuesday 21st October. Man on reception helped us book in and also assisted with operating the car booking in machine. Compared with Scarborough North Bay we found the room small and only had a walk in shower. Asked about a better room but was told the hotel was full. Okay accepted that. Next morning the shower was a dribble from a cheap shower head. Down to Breakfast. The tables were sticky with black residue in parts. The person on duty said it was because of the varnish. Had someone tried to re varnish the table top and it had not fully taken? From a hygiene point of view did not seem impressive. My paper napkin actually stuck to the table as if it was glued to it. Onto the food which was on a hot plate with lamps above. The heat was still frying the black pudding as it sizzled. The eggs looked and tasted like plastic. The bacon was so hard my knife would not cut through it. Ideal for resoling my shoes. We then decided to order poached eggs from the kitchen and these proved to be ok as they were freshly cooked. So breakfast consisted of poached eggs, beans and a piece of bread. Nothing like the £10.99 all in.
There is evidence of wear and tear in this hotel and come on Premier Inn get these table tops replaced. Position of the hotel is good but otherwise far behind North Bay. Where is the management of this place. The guy on the desk when we left looked untidy and sums up this hotel.
- casucardamone (10/5): Excellent service - Nice hotel.lovely location.
Samuel on reception gave us excellent advice about the area.
He was very helpful and gave a great service. We had a lovely sea view room which was spotless and the cleaning staff were very helpful too. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
- c0nnellf (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - Stayed here the weekend, hotel clean and comfortable, check in was quick using the self serve. Breakfast was good plentiful and tasty. Bar staff on the evening was abit miserable. Nevertheless will return when visiting Bristol.
Bonus managed to get on street parking
- Mark020Shan (10/5): Scooter rally - Hotel is well placed near to many attractions, bars and restaurants. The car park on site was a good size. Room was clean and also a good size, the addition of a coffee machine and the fridge was very welcome. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
- johnhouston2 (8/5): The rating reflects the location and the standard of the room. - The Premier Inn on Bridlington seafront is in an excellent location and has a large car park. You have to pay for parking but get a special rate as a hotel guest. You simply enter your registration on a pad by the main door and pay (£5 per day).
Check in was friendly and our room up to the usual good standard.
We didn’t opt for the breakfast buffet as, to be honest, I’m getting a bit fed up with lukewarm Premier Inn fare. I reckoned that Bridlington would have plenty of traditional cafes where you can get a freshly cooked breakfast. I was right, and highly recommend Tea @33 on Hilderthorpe Road.
- L6942YQmarkusb (6/5): acceptable - Decent room, I found the level of staff was lacking in quality and numbers on shift was a disservice to the customers. Trying to get a an accurate answer out of any of them was impossible and the manager did not really know what to do and seemed passive aggressive when she actually showed up (Her office was opposite the front desk)
- Y5694FKadrianf (10/5): Spot on service - I’ve been travelling staying in premier inns for many years. I can honestly say Joe and Aurelia are a massive credit to the hotel and company. Always service with a smile and friendly. When in Bristol this my hotel of choice.
- U2900NVmikea (2/5): Take your coat, hat and scarf! - Take you coat hat and scarf as the rooms are freezing. Also check the bed on arrival as they get a lot of use and also check for questionable stains on furniture!
- Furiousgeorgina (10/5): Excellent choice for a stay in the centre - This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel and it was perfect.
We were able to check in at 3pm, and were in room 301. There are 3 floors in the hotel.
We had a standard room which was huge. A wardrobe for storage and separate hooks by the door for coats etc. There was a kettle and tea and coffee (you can also help yourselves to more supplies at reception).
The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Our bathroom had a bath with a rain shower which was good and powerful. We also had a window that we could actually open which helped to get fresh air in. Housekeeping isn't generally done for a short stay but you can request it if needed, and you can get more towels at reception if you need them.
All the staff we met were welcoming and friendly, and on our last day they had a little pot of sweets, chocolate and biscuits at reception which was a thoughtful touch.
The hotel is in a fantastic area, just round the corner from pubs on King Street and a few minutes walk to the harbourside or St Nicholas market. We also found it convenient to get the airport bus as the stop near Queens Square was less than 10 minutes walk away.
A excellent choice, would stay again.
- Relax24003922798 (10/5): Amazing Staff - Amazing Service - All staff were amazing!
Especially Sam (nightstaff), Samuel, Hannah & Hayley.
We stay every year and couldn’t ask for better service.
AMAZING!
Rich & All of TAG Circus!!
- Departure53881655982 (10/5): Great seaside hotel. - Quality hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and good value. Only slight downside is you have to pay for parking which i think should be included. but it is under £5 for 24hrs.
- L5298MNdaveg (6/5): Mmmmm dunno about this. - Two nights, and not impressed, sea views are there but it was a side view through net curtains.
Room OK, bed comfy, however, eating area dirty, breakfast , bit over cooked and rubbery eggs. Down stairs loo for gents closed, used handicapped loo it was dirty, felt dirty using it. Hotel in good location. Parking tenner for two nights. Would I use it again. Possibly, but prefer full front sea view.
- susanmary6 (6/5): Central location - Central location. Large room. Good lighting & a decent hairdryer. Comfy bed but hard pillows although there is a zipped bag in the room where you can get softer pillows. No phone or fridge in room. Bathroom large but basic with only liquid soap on wall provided. Toilet had a school type toilet sheet paper dispenser. If staying longer than one night you have to make a request at Reception to have your room cleaned & bed made (I thought this was a hotel?) Reception staff very helpful. Good selection at breakfast. Be advised that if you are unfortunate to have a room facing south (harbour side) there is a very loud and noisy kitchen fan extractor. On the two days I was there, it started ay 6.30 am until 9.30 pm all day, could be heard above the TV and the following day it was from 5.30 am, which woke me up. Unfortunately Reception could not change my room as busy. so try and get a room on the North Side, facing Flamborough Head.
Parking expensive but there is off street parking adjacent for 1 hr between 9 am & 6 pm & overnight no restriction. Premier Inn is at the budget end of the many hotel chains but still can be expensive depending on the time of year that you visit, because it is a holiday town.
- gle215 (4/5): Wouldn't return to this one - This is the worst premier in we have stayed in we are usually happy with them. Hardly anyone present at reception you need to press the buzzer for attention. We were given a room on 4th floor when we opened the door onto the corridor the smell was terrible. The room had a bad smell as well. We went down to 3rd floor awful smell there and the same for the second floor. The first floor was ok. The young girl changed our room to 1st floor but our room had a damp smell which every time you entered it hit you. The hotel windows do not open and I do not think this helps. The corridors are the same no fresh air. We were never told when breakfast was just assumed it would be the same times as other ones. The breakfast was good. We had previously stayed at Liverpool dock a couple of weeks ago and the difference in staff there who are friendly and always on reception. The windows can be opened as well. The one at Bridlington does have a good spot and the sea views are from the side but the smell means we wouldn't return.
- robkS6797MP (6/5): Expensive break - Paid £135 for one night then checked on the day of my arrival and the room was down to £75
Then have to pay a further £5 to park in the car park
That days of premier in been a cheap break have gone
- janiced329 (10/5): Holiday - September a good month to go. Not so busy more relaxed. Great staff very helpful. Good wet room easy access.
Very pleasant stay warm & comfortable.
- gregorymQ7437TO (10/5): Perfect Location - Perfect night away for a gig in Bristol, hotel was a 20 min walk from the train station and 5 mins from the venue. Check in was easy, room was comfortable and clean. Very pleased with value for money.
- dekofnot (8/5): Pleasant stay - All in all a very pleasant stay. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast that we had was good quality. The one and only downside was that my wife who has a lactose intolerance couldn't have any cereal at breakfast. We have not found any hotels so far in the UK that stock lactose free milk.
- enriquecR9079NS (10/5): Premier Inn – a 10/10 stay in Bristol - What I liked the most about this hotel is the wonderful staff you have — every shift treated us with great kindness and professionalism, and it’s clear they truly enjoy their work. The restaurant team is also fantastic. The overall quality of this Premier Inn really impressed both my daughter and me. We’ll definitely be coming back at the end of November. The hotel’s location is also a great asset.
- 434MarkH (6/5): Noisy - Despite double glazing & secondary glazing, we still had a lot of noise from outside!! 1 bar underneath hotel & 1 boat bar opposite, bars also around the corner so noise continued by people walking home! Location was good for exploring around the center & riverside & room was typical Premier Inn & was good apart from firm pillows. Breakfast was in pub under hotel & was good.
- Stay815050 (10/5): Very Good Premier Inn in the City Centre - We have stayed here several times, It's a very good Premier Inn: clean, comfortable and really well-located in the centre of Bristol. The service is very good.
- LichfieldBoy (4/5): Not a great stay and expensive - Parking was a 5 minute walk away and cost about £16 per day. The hotel is in a nice location close to a vibrant area with many pubs and restaurants none of which were chains (a couple were a bit bizarre), however as a result it was very noisy from two big open air bars just below our room until about 23:30. We booked a premier plus room so I was a bit disappointed that it didn't seem much different to a standard one. The shower was over a high sided bath when we had hoped for a walk in and it leaked water out of the side screen creating a big puddle on the floor each time we used it. The air conditioning in the room had a loud rattle which stopped you from sleeping so we had to switch it off then had very hot nights. There was nowhere to put clothes apart from a very small hanging space (partly taken up by an ironing board) so they mainly had to stay in the case. The wi-fi was so dire we ended up just using our mobile phones to create a hot spot. The single button hairdryer had no power or heat. As usual for Premier Inn these days the room was only cleaned if you put in a request to reception.
Breakfast was good but involved walking outside around the corner in the rain. Because we were staying for the WRWC semi-finals the hotel was charging premium rates and it definitely was not worth the £406 we paid for 2 nights. I've stayed in many, mostly very good, Premier Inns and this has to be one of the worst.
- Daniela (2/5): - Overall disappointing! We had an Superior Room booked. It came with THE smallest bed only lovers in their honeymoon would feel comfortable in. No chance of getting an extra bed or even a mattress. At some point I slept on the floor.
The tiny bed only comes with one blanket ment for two people.
The not really helpful lady at the front desk was not even sure if we get a second blanket. At least that worked out.
Make sure to book a twin room if you go there with two people. The superior is not a good choice!
On the plus side: The location and the breakfast is great. Everybody in the restaurant was truly lovely.
- tinytim2016 (2/5): Nice staff terrible location and noise pollution, people and very loud music. Do not recommend. - Terrible, to the point that I'm sat in the room as I type. If you want to have no sleep and to be surrounded by drunks and bars until gone midnight then stay here. Location is terrible, I've stayed in a lot of hotels but this building must be cheap to rent, there's no other explanation for locating here. The worst and I wouldn't come back. Staff are good but breakfast.... I probably won't stay that long.
- Go368591 (4/5): Poor premier inn - Unfortunately this premier inn is way below others that I stay in other cities. Dirty room. Mirrors smeared. Rubbish from previous person still in room. Shower holder broken Requested room to be cleaned on 2nd day. Never happened and was offered towels when I complained. Restaurant smelt by toilets and was cold in evening with overpriced disgusting food.
- R4751CNandrewt (10/5): Great stay - Great location close to Bristol bus station. Rooms clean and comfortable, and had a great night sleep. Good value for money. You really can't go wrong with a premier inn hotel.
- Silver_lady_m (6/5): Comfortable and good location but unclean - Very comfortable bed and great location but the bathroom was really not clean enough. There were long dark hairs around the bathroom including on the bath mat! The shower gel container had nothing in it, so we had to use hand soap to shower with. There was a huge ball of fluff by the bathroom door
- marianneheleneg (10/5): Fantastic receptionist made my stay - Traveled to Bristol on the 29th August for a three night stay to see the Wallace and Grommet displays. The receptionist on duty on the Saturday morning, I believe she was called Brenda, was amazingly helpful in marking different places on my map and sent me off in the right direction which enabled me to achieve my objective of seeing as many of the models as possible. My room was nice and clean and the meal deal was good value for money with plenty of choice.
- J7351VGkarenl (8/5): Great overall experience. - I love this hotel. Great location and the room was clean with comfortable bed and also ample lighting. Love the water pressure in the shower. I wouldn't recommend choosing the breakfast though especially if you have to leave the hotel early in the morning. They advertised that the earliest time you can have breakfast is at 6:30am but the hot breakfast is rarely ready at 6:30. On all 3 mornings, I had to wait circa 10 mins before they start putting hot breakfast out. Food is the basic staples - eggs, sausage, bacon, baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and hashbrowns and the usual croissants and pain au chocolat, fresh fruits and yoghurt pots. OK in taste. Overall, I would recommend this hotel primarily because of its central location and the fact that it is hassle free in terms of check in and out. The staff are friendly and helpful too. I would return to this hotel.
- Strifae (10/5): Great stay - The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly with good local knowledge and explained about the breakfast and booking recommended. We always like staying at this particular hotel as it's right next to the town centre
- angelawP3365SU (10/5): Great staff recommend this hotel and restaurant next door - The lady was amazing on the reception when we checked in she was friendly and welcoming we had missed a flight due to an accident on the motorway so we were frazzled and tired she cheered me up. Well done premier inn ❤️
- HelenL2402 (10/5): Great location - Have stayed at this particular Premier Inn previously. It is a great location being close to the shopping centres with easy access to bus stops. Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Always feel safe staying in Premier Inn because only guests can access upper floors.
- paulbukav (6/5): Tired and rundown. - Tired looking and was not as clean as previous Premier Inns that i have stopped at. Staff were also not as friendly as other Premier Inns.
- Explorer10094262531 (10/5): Convenient and comfortable - Needed a comfortable bed for a couple of nights whilst a relative was in the hospital. This premier Inn was super convenient and provided some well needed relaxing space. Handy also for the shops to pick up emergency supplies. Very easy to book at the last minute, really all quite hassle free.
- MissHayleyK (10/5): A fab stay - Great stay with the family to do the Gromit trail. Great location, room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.
- doreenhC4402WL (10/5): Bristol stay - Very clean and comfortable room ,the food was first class and staff very polite and welcoming. The price was very good. Local to the city centre.
- A4987CYmatthews (10/5): Great stay! - Lovely stay, room was satisfactory. Airline lost my bag and Amy went above and beyond to help me with arrangements to get it back. Really helpful in a stressful time.
- Adventure20661494838 (10/5): August 2025 stay - Amazing stay! Spacious, spotless room with a stunning view. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 10/10! Impeccable customer service from Emily too
- 979rhysm (10/5): Enjoyable and comfortable stay in Bristol - Very friendly staff and great accommodation. Emily was very helpful, kind and welcoming. The location was great only a few minute walk to the center of Bristol. Spacious room with good air conditioning and a very comfortable bed.
- mich250 (6/5): Basic but ok - We booked a 5 night stay at the Premier Inn in Bristol (King Street).
The good
* Ideal city centre location. Short walk from railway station.
* Surrounded by some nice bars and restaurants.
* Beds extremely comfortable and high quality. Great sleep each night and no back pain but morning 💪🏻
* Rooms clean and tidy on arrival.
However, a few minor inconveniences where room for improvement could be made.
* No 'do not disturb' sign available. Someone entered our room without warning (most likely staff) whilst we were in there. At thatbppit we hadn't requested any service so there was no reason for anyone to go in.
* On day 3 we requested a light room tidy, only really requiring new towels and more toilet roll. They didn't put any toilet roll in despite us again that was more important than anything else.
* We were in room 215 which sits right next to a housekeeper storage room. The light in there activates a fan which vibrates very loud against our wall and can go on for hours if the staff don't bother to turn it off. We had to go to reception twice to ask for this to be turned off.
We are regular customers of premier inns. On this occasion if say it served it's purpose as a city centre location room at reasonable price. But certainly not the best we've been in
- claireinabudhabi (10/5): Overall great - Such lovely staff! Hotel fine for city centre, no frills but none expected. For us, the breakfast topped the lot. The restaurant (Bar and Block) was packed and there was only one server but she was amazing! So polite, kept her cool and made a bad situation better.
- G44AIpaulh (10/5): AMAZING! - Lovely stay, great staff. Come weekly for work and always to expectations. Emily and Tracey alwAys helpful and a joy at reception.
- William (4/5): - Overall the hotel is tired - not much else to say -- Restaurant was weak. Toasters never worked and eggs were either cold or over-cooked.
- ip565 (10/5): Nice weekend away - Lovely location for a premier inn, very lively area with plenty of bars and restaurants around. Staff was nice and friendly. Amy was very helpful in giving directions and information, lovely to talk to
- L3799ZLportlandgal (10/5): Great location and staff - We've stayed at this hotel a few times and it's in a great location, perfect for nearby restaurants and bars and for Queens Square. The girls on reception were ever so friendly. There's a really handy snacks machine in the lobby too - great for late night snacking.
- 133AM133 (6/5): Great location - needs cleaning addressing - Had a 2 night stay here last week. Found the following:
Plus points
- Great Central location for the town centre, tourist attractions, pubs, & dining
- Warm welcome on arrival
- Usual Premier Inn facilties in room, with a comfy bed, air-con & heater
- Great unlimited breakfast in their restaurant nextdoor (bar + bloc)
Negative stuff
- E-mail received saying early check-in MAY be available for £15... but they can't tell you if it is until you arrive. A bit pointless for most people! There is bag storage available though.
- Coridoor outside room stunk (but inside the room there was no smell)
- Room clearly hadn't been hoovered, or if it had, they need a new hoover!
For somewhere to get your head down & be near the town centre, (which is what we wanted), it is ok. We've stayed in loads of Premier Inn's & this one did let the side down a little bit with the cleanliness.
- O1447QUryanc (10/5): Sorry I guessed your age wrong - Had a lovely stay, all staff helpful. Great location right by the pubs and busy night life. Emily on desk was very helpful and kind. Also, Brenda was really helpful and so fun and patient whilst our group was checking in. ……………………………………………..
- Departure52110588255 (10/5): Great location. - A good stay here last night in a first floor twin room. Really good location for the city centre and the breakfast venue next door was really nice. Very helpful and attentive staff especially lovely Brenda and Emily on reception. They were brilliant! X
- Dreamer66259642330 (6/5): Needs updating - In need of updating, there is no sound proofing on the windows so it was very noisy in the rooms facing the main street. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable as expected from a premier inn. There is no onsite parking at this hotel, but there is parking a 5 minute walk away which was reasonably priced at £6 for overnight parking
