Guest Reviews
- H315QQstephenf (10/5): Excellent experience - The staff was very helpful and friendly food was very good .
Ester was very helpful with helping us to how things work.
We stayed for two nights had a evening meal and drinks .
Are room was clean and tidy plenty of tea and coffee in the room
- Arnar123 (8/5): Good night sleep - Our first stay at the hotel post Covid but we had stayed there once or twice a year several years in a row pre Covid. We were very happy with out room all though one of the family, who had another room, smelt mold smell in the air. This was only one night so that person did not complain.
The bed was great and gave us a good night sleep after a long flight.
We felt the hotel was overall just the good old one since pre Covid. The bartender made is great cocktails and it was relaxing sitting in the lounge.
One letdown though........the registering for the room took a long time and wasn´t smooth. Afterwards we should have done it on line and we will do that next time around :)
- P1717AEtracys (10/5): Would visit again - Great hotel and pub opposite.
Very welcoming in both hotel and the pub.
Nice reasturant in the pub and good selection of food and drinks
- waynebI3210QH (10/5): Great Family Stay and close to shopping and nights out - Great location for everything. Attended a gig at the Dome which was only 5 mins walk away.... its across the road from joining 'The Lanes' for shopping and eating out. Train station is a 10/15 mins walk and also the seafront only 10 mins away. Staff really helpful and friendly... shout out to Louise... breakfast was really nice and had a really comfortable stay. Even found a couple of little welcome gifts left in the room which was really lovely :-). Would stay again!
- kathykent121 (6/5): Did not sleep well. - Been going here to stay for Christmas shop with daughter for many years. Always have a certain room and ask for it every year. On arrival we checked in at the desk personally. The girl took a while looking to confirm our room. She said the lights weren’t working properly so found another similar room which we found looked the same. However I personally did not sleep at all well as the room in a very windy tunnel and the the howling wind kept me awake. Also found the lights round the mirror in the room did not work. I could not go through all the packing up to even mention it all to reception . So had a terrible sleep for two nights. Also noticed rooms are shabby.
- hannahdW7898KD (10/5): We will definitely stay again. - Loved our stay at Brighton north street. A special thanks to Louise she made our stay so much better with her kindness and daily help. She went the extra mile with a smile.
- 917saniahg (10/5): Extremely helpful and kind - Everyone at Premier Inn, Pantruthyn Farm, Pen Coed, are always extremely helpful and kind, and completely understand my needs. Thank you.
- johnandmojgan (10/5): Super friendly and awesome breakfast - Friendly and very accommodating.
Arrived late and asked about dinner options, was directed to the Restaurant across the street but told be quick as they stop orders at 20:30hrs.
I went straight over as it was 20:20hrs, was turned away immediately, not even offered a bar meal or anything.
Needless to say I was somewhat disappointed as my day started at 07:30hrs when I left Dunfermline to get there.
Now the good stuff, lady in the Premier Inn reception was lovely and gave me a sheet with a selection of places local to eat or request delivery.
I fell asleep on the super comfortable bed, woke up in the morning ready to eat for Scotland.
Breakfast was sublime, freshly cooked bacon and eggs with the nicest sausages I have ever eaten in an establishment like this.
The lady’s that looked after me, Tracy and Kelly were the difference to a lovely breakfast to a truly great experience of great food and hospitality that really made a difference.
Thank you Premier Inn for getting it right with this location, whatever you are paying them needs to be doubled as they have represented you above and beyond.
- nicroz (10/5): Breakfast with a smile from staff. - We go to the Brighton North Street Hotel for breakfast nearly every day. Always lovely hot food. Lots to choose from. The staff are soooo lovely. The short middle aged woman (not sure on her name) is a delightful person! Always has a smile. The other staff are great too! Always polite, on hand and they just make it have a great atmosphere. My favourite place. In my opinion that woman should get a bonus. Well all of them should really.
- GudrunSolveig (10/5): Great hotel and fantastic staff - We had very great help from Louise in the lobby. She was assisting with everything we needed to know. I highly reccomend this hotel too. It os so short way frim shops and Christmas spirit
- R802DMcarolineb (10/5): Perfect for a mini break - This hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of Brighton. The rooms are basic but clean and suitable for a short break. Tea/coffee & kettle is provided in room and there is heating. The staff are very helpful and willing to solve any issues. Special mention to Louise who checked us in and helped with a small issue we had.
- 958phillm (10/5): Very satisfied - Louise who checked me in was really welcoming and made it a great experience when travelling such a long way and walking through aweful weather.
- allanrJ3261BP (2/5): AWFUL - 2nd time staying at premier inn Brighton and it was worse than our first visit which was not great. The location is the only decent thing about this hotel. The room was once again smelt damp. Even more disappointing was breakfast. Last time we stayed the hot food was a buffet this time you had place an order. We was told take a seat and we will come and take your order. After ten minutes we had to find the waiter to take our order. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for breakfast so the toast we had gone to get was now stone cold. The breakfast was not very nice at all with burnt sausage and bacon dished up with undercooked soggy hash browns. Will not be staying here again as also the guy serving breakfast was so unwelcoming.
- B334ZAmichaelr (2/5): Extremely dissatisfied with this hotel - We have stayed at several premier inns and have always been pleased with our accommodation but from the moment we arrived at the Brighton premier inn we felt very disappointed. The whole building needs a complete refurbishment. Our room was very dated, the carpet was very dirty and the bathroom area didn’t feel clean. It was also very difficult to control the heating and felt very cold at times.
We didn’t feel very safe entering the building due to rough sleepers near the entrance. We think that there should be more security, especially as on one occasion we found it difficult to enter the building due to paramedics having to attend to a drug taker. We would certainly not stay again and not recommend this hotel.
- G8898KEkeving (6/5): Getting a bit tired, needs a refresh. - Ideal location for the city, but it’s all getting a bit tired. Room was basically clean, but behind the TV it was thick with dust. I was only looking there as there was no TV signal. The hairdryer was temperamental, which made the wife the same. Not good. Breakfast was hot and cooked well.
- timmZ4677ED (8/5): North Road,Brighton, Clean tidy ,Great place experience Brighton fromnce - Not being people who use hotels often we were not used to key card use, you need it to get the lights on in your room, and to use the lifts, we weren't told at the checkin, it felt a bit rushed . The parking is about 3 mins walk away and cost around £18 pound from the time i checked in to check out.
- mtR5040DU (6/5): Review - Good location central - 10 mins walk from the sea. However, more like a hostel - very tired building. Seems to lack the use of a hover on the corridors .
- honda124 (10/5): Good Place To Stay - Good hotel, right in the heart of Brighton. Breakfast, rooms and staff excellent. No faults. Lots of bars, restaurants and the 'Lanes' are nearby
- Roam30585746675 (10/5): Wonderful Time and Fantastic Staff. - We had a wonderful time at the premier inn from the 14th - 16th November. The rooms were clean, the service was fantastic, and everyone made us feel at home! A special thanks to Gino and Katrina for their attentive support during our stay.
- Adventure35890804938 (2/5): Room 512 - Wish i could give a 0 rating, room consumed with mould as soon as you open the door and step inside it stinks of damp, carpet damp to the touch, condensation dripping from the ceiling mould on all the walls and in the bathroom. Arrived really late no one to be seen at reception, avoid this hotel at all costs normally premier inn is great for the night but this hotel put shame on the company even communal areas run down and dirty.
- lindaeB1048AB (2/5): Worst Premier Inn we've stayed at - After reading the reviews about this hotel we thought it couldn't be this bad, it's premier inn, but it was the worst one we've stayed at by a long way.
We are arrived at 2.55 to be told we couldn't check in and to wait over there with everyone else. We then had the farcical nonsense of him checking all our names off, for what seemed to be no reason at all. At bang on 3 he then called us forward a couple at a time to check in on the screens. What difference did that 5 minutes make exactly?
We went up to the room and on entering the damp smell hit us straightaway, it was horrible. Big damp area under the window. We thought we'd open the window to air it, no. Everywhere else you can at least open it and inch or so but these were all completely shut. One of the pillows didn't have a pillowcase. The bathroom was at least clean and the shower good, but the windows were then swimming in condensation so you could see why they have a damp issue, you need ventilation for goodness sake!
My husband didn't sleep well at all, and I was awoken by the delightful sound of the glass collection lorry at 06.15 on Sunday morning. The curtains didn't close properly so that'll be fun in the summer if you want a lay in. Terrible preparation for the running event we were here for.
As frequent Premier Inn customers really disappointed that they have lowered their standards so much, especially for the price, and I'd never stay at this one again.
- christinefS52OL (10/5): Great service - The great beds, spacious room powerful shower you expect but what made our stay really special was the helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure that we had really enjoyable stay. Great central location and the room was so quiet.
- Shadowlakes (6/5): Excellent town centre location, discounted parking - Lovely sized family room, comfy beds, decent shower.
However the night was hot and stuffy because the windows would not open at all.
Also it would be nice to have an extractor fan in the internal bathroom, no window.
Seemed to be understaffed at the restaurant and bar, however the staff were very helpful and polite.
- N8040IXdavidr (10/5): Ideal for overnight stay - Ideal place for short stays bedrooms are a great size breakfast is great and pricing is super reasonable. Big car park, good ev chargers. Basic but great value.
- hayleywH1998JN (2/5): One awful receptionist ruined a stay. - We came to the area to scatter my nans ashes as she lived here as a child and to also travel to Wales to scatter my grandads as that’s where he lived as a child.
My sister and I came with two children, aged 10 and 8. My mum and her husband and my auntie and her husband also stayed.
We were late arriving on the Friday evening, the gentleman on reception was lovely, booked us in for breakfast the next day, explained where the room was etc. We had breakfast on the Saturday morning, staff were all lovely, helpful when asked a question and it was very nostalgic for us all to hear people talking with the same lovely accent my late nan had.
We left the hotel around 9.15am, to travel to various places scattering ashes along the way. The journey to Milford Haven in Wales took nearly 3 hours there and the same on the way back.
As you can imagine it was a very long and emotional day.
We arrived back at the hotel around 8pm, popped to the room and then went back to pub across the car park for some food. We had a lovely meal, toasted our late nan as it was her birthday.
On returning to reception we were collecting some milk and teabags, the children were talking, the receptionist then stopped speaking to the customers checking in to say to the children that the corridors were quiet from 9pm… it was 9.30pm. We were stood in reception, not in a corridor. We were waiting to book in for breakfast. I felt extremely embarrassed that she stopped speaking to the customers she was dealing with to basically tell us off for talking in an open reception not even near the quiet corridors.
As I say the children were talking, not shouting or even messing around which considering they’d had 6+ hours trapped in a car, a very emotional day and one has severe adhd and autism, talking was actually fine! If she had seen him on a bad day we would’ve probably been removed from the hotel!
We didn’t book for breakfast, I said to her we weren’t stood in a corridor and they were talking not shouting, we then left and went to our room.
I went back to reception to give the lady some feedback, explain it had been a long and very emotional day, that the children weren’t misbehaving they were talking, to be met with a very sarcastic “is there anything else I can help you with madam, we are on cctv madam and would you like to speak to my manager madam.”
I found her whole demeanour absolutely awful. I was telling her we’d had an awful, emotional long day, with children with difficulties and that she could’ve waited for the other guests to have gone and the mentioned about the quiet corridors in a different way, but she just kept saying “anything else I can help you with madam?”
The day was, as I say long and emotional, but also a day to remember because of what we did & with it being the first birthday of nans without her here. That receptionist has put such a massive dampener on my time and I can honestly say I went to bed livid.
On a day were the children have been bored, trapped and around very emotional adults I think them speaking in reception is more than ok. I actually had not long before told them how proud I was of them for how they’d behaved all day, only for some receptionist to act like they were running g riot and screaming down corridors.
I did myself no favours, as she was just continuing to be sarcastic, not listen or even say something like “I’m sorry if it came across as rude”. she just continued to be sarcastic, I did call her a name and stomped off to our room, not my finest moment but also the frustration of someone not even listening or even realising what she had done could appear rude got the better of me.
When I went to give the feedback I really just wanted her to realise how hard that day had been and how actually those kids had really done nothing but I was just met with sarcasm.
Ruined what would’ve been lovely as that will be what I remember from this trip.
Please train your one member of staff about unseen disabilities, especially in children and how to maybe speak to customers about things.
- K2423RUtiffanyw (2/5): NOT family friendly - After 6 hrs of travelling spreading a family member’s ashes we arrived back at 9:30pm (Sat 8th). Myself, sister and 2 children were waiting in reception to book breakfast. The receptionist who was dealing with another couple with a baby told my children that they need to be quiet in the corridor as people are asleep. They were talking to us and not being noisy we would ourselves tell them to be quiet if there were being loud in a corridor. This has upset me as my children have been very behavioured on what has been a difficult day for our family and to have them spoken to in that way was not pleasant. My son has Autism and ADHD which is challenging but to have his good behaviour dismissed so blatantly infront of others is disappointing. We attempted to address the comment made by the receptionist who was further dismissive. As she stated you have CCTV so please check the cameras at this time and you will see how rude your staff member was to my family.
- 277JohnM277 (10/5): the best Premier inn we've stayed in - Very clean inside, extremely helpful & kind considerate staff. Has a lovely breakfast room run by the inn. The bed was very comfortable.
Everything about our stay was good
- annafO8391UO (10/5): Excellent value for money - Everything you need provided in the room. Good standard of cleaning and furnishing. Welcoming staff in reception and in the restaurant. Decent food (though some more veggie options would be welcome). Excellent value for money.
- 526jennettet (10/5): Warm and helpful staff - We were really blown away by the helpfulness and warmth of welcome at this Premier Inn. Amazing to get a balcony and a view too!
- Sightseer363181 (10/5): Breakfast staff - Very friendly staff very helpful especially Alex and Tracey helped us have a lovely breakfast before we set off for a busy day
- marymS1459KP (6/5): Comfortable - The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. I asked for the bathroom floor to be cleaned 3 times. It wasn't done, tissue on the floor, which wasn't pleasant.
- Bradders0374 (10/5): Pleasant Stay - Rooms clean and tidy and got a great night's sleep for the whole week.
I was booked in for breakfast and was looked after by Sian who was fantastic and ensured I had what I needed-many thanks for an enjoyable stay.
- jeroeno789 (10/5): Great value for money - It's not The Hilton, but you also don't pay like it's The Hilton. This very affordable hotel offers more than enough value for money. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast was very tasty, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
- U8128ZFdeborahf (10/5): Highly recommended - Excellent location. Very clean room and lovely staff. The pub attached was lovely Excellent food and staff there too!
Highly recommended to others
- drcsi (10/5): Great staff - Premier Inns experiences depend on good staff. This team was excellent in both the hotel and restaurent. Location near M4 makes it easy to find.
- robinpI5605NN (6/5): Mixed Messages - Post code given sends you off the roundabout the wrong way, so hard to find. Room smelled musty, possibly people smoking in here. Staff quickly sprayed with aerosol but smell didn't go! Table Table restaurant very good with helpful and friendly staff. Road works going in which restrict parking.
- RyanB763 (2/5): Basic hotel, horrible internet wifi - Basic facility with clean rooms. Welcome was pleasant. Parking is bit small. The hotel wifi and internet is atrocious. It isn't even fit to use for email. I measured 0.6 MB download and 0.4 MB upload speeds. In 2025 this just isn't acceptable. In fact, I've had faster internet since 1994. There is almost no EE signal at the building as well, so mobile signals are poor.
- Trip796243 (8/5): Hotel good - restaurant poor - Location of hotel was good lots of parking on site. The room needed a more thorough clean but the beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly. In the evening we ate at the table table however the staff were poor and rushed us to leave despite it only being 9.30. In the morning for breakfast people were eating on pyjamas and dressing gowns. Wouldn’t use this premier inn again.
- johnsD2097GP (2/5): Appalling customer service - Absolutely shocking experience, a 19 year old manager, wearing a baseball cap backwards, and this is how premier inn want to portray themselves, children running a hotel, with appalling results, none of the staff including the manager knew what they were doing, never staying here again.
- A3980YNangelak (10/5): 5* - We recently stayed at Premier Inn Bridgend M4, J35 in September, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was spotless and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It's clear that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
The team at the hotel were outstanding—super friendly, approachable, and really helpful. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed.
- Hortology (10/5): Good visit - A very well located hotel. The hotel was well maintained and bedrooms comfortable. The adjoining restaurant (Table Table) was inviting and food good. Particular mention to Nicola who looked after breakfast with care and a happy welcome. Diolch yn fawr
- Flyer16245345738 (6/5): Friendly and good location. WiFi is very poor - Good location with friendly staff. Good breakfast with decent choice and quick service despite being cooked to order. The WiFi is pretty terrible and cuts out after 10 mins when you need to go through the sign in again. This is made worse by no phone reception on both our networks so hard to contact family to make arrangements. Despite requesting out room be cleaned well before 12 and displaying the sign on out door this was not done so we came back to change for the evening part of the wedding to a pile of soggy towels etc. New towels were provided but nothing else could be done. I appreciate it is a budget hotel but we were charged same price for both nights
- Dottydoodah (10/5): Excellent - It’s an older premier inn but it’s very clean and well looked after. The staff were amazing.
I have to give a special mention to Cecelia, she was fantastic and so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She recommended places to eat and get petrol. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she’s an absolute credit to the company! She wouldn’t have been out of place working in a top London hotel. We absolutely loved her. The other staff were also great but Cecelia was amazing!
Would definitely stay here again if we came to the area.
- C884DGsimonl (10/5): Don't judge a book by its cover - On arriving at this hote we were pleasantly surprised by the way it looked, as it felt like we had stepped back in time and that it was not your usual generic looking Premier Inn hotel. When checking in we was greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist who was very professional and couldn't do enough to help us. The room we were in was more than adequate for our stay on the ground floor with a balcony over looking the cricket pitch with a match in progress which my girls enjoyed watching. They enjoyed it so much they decided to have a picnic on the balcony rather then going out for dinner. The club house itself was not noisy or loud after the match had finished. We all slept like a dream, even my 10yr old, who likes to awake before the birds, stayed asleep longer than usual. We had breakfast at the hotel which was cooked to perfection by Tracey the chef and the waiter Callum was extremely helpful and down to earth. He was great ,lots of laughs and banter and very energetic considering the it was early . When we checked out we also met the high praised manger who was lovely and chatted with us and gave our girls a colouring pack for our long journey home. We will be making this a regular stop when we are travelling up from Cornwall heading to Kent. Cannot rate this hotel enough, and would highly recommend it .
- bengY1798US (10/5): Quick stopover - Ok, so I knew this wouldn’t look like a regular Premier Inn but it is still a shock as the outside really needs sone updating and looks like a 1970’s office building. However, the welcome was warm, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was great. The bathroom was smaller than some of the newer Premier Inns however. As it was quite hot when we visited, there was a fan running in the room and we also were offered a sheet instead of the duvet which was very welcome. It is worth noting that this Premier Inn does not have the usual attached restaurant such as a Beefeater or a Brewer’s Fayre. The was however a pub next door called the Ship Inn and we had a lovely meal there with fabulous service. Breakfast is in the Premier Inn, they have their own breakfast room and chef. That was absolutely fine, the breakfast was lovely and it was actually nice not to have to battle with other members of the public to go up and get our breakfast. So, would we stay again? Absolutely yes, you just need to be aware that this is not going to be your usual Premier Inn stay.
- Dukkiduo (6/5): A good premier inn but doesn't half need some tlc - The staff make this premier inn.
We stayed two nights and the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. For example, I phoned up to switch to a room at the back with a balcony overlooking the cricket ground (remember to bring your fold up furniture); we asked about parking on a Saturday night with the pub so close and how to get round the roadworks to the main car park; asked to borrow some cutlery for a picnic Saturday night on our balcony after a lunchtime event; went early for breakfast Sunday before 7am opening so we were on the road early. All these requests and questions answered positively.
Breakfast in the hotel's breakfast room was nice. I would've given this 5 out of 5 had the interior been in a better state. it really is battered. Our room really needed some tlc. Curtain linings needed a damn good clean, all walls and woodwork decorating, bathrooms grouting deep cleaning. Sort the battered interior then you are looking at 5 stars.
- Guglielmo Domenico (8/5): - NON HA IL PARCHEGGIO IN LOCO COME DESCRITTO , E’ UN MULTIPIANO CONVENZIONATO MA LONTANO (CON VALIGE AL SEGUITO MOLTO SCOMODO).
- nanontour2015 (10/5): Highly recommended - Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable. Great breakfast. Have stayed often and always been very happy. Book with confidence.
- stevenpV8855ES (10/5): Great hotel manager - Tom the hotel manager was exceptional. Very welcoming as you come through the door, Also very helpful with everything I asked.
- enjay2023 (4/5): Run down PI and broken service promise - An old style PI in desperate need of refresh and refurbishment. Adjoining restaurant in even worse condition. Located right next to M4 but without any air conditioning had to keep window open with consequent noise.
Poor housekeeping. Only one set of towels in room. When telephoned reception (as advised in PI app - but had to be national rate even though in same building!) no answer at all despite prominently displayed marketing slogan “we are available 24/7”.
- Garysevern (8/5): Pretty good - We had a large comfortable, clean twin room. The hotel seemed full given the number of cars but it was quiet. The shower over the bath was powerful but the standard WiFi not. It seems to be constrained so you have to pay for WiFi you can stream with. The hotel is close to the M4 which can be heard when the window is open but not too bad. We needed the window open because the room was very warm at night. Staff were very friendly.
- RonB1552 (10/5): VG two night stay - Outside (To front) of the building; the general state of the building and parking area was in need of a little TLC however the Hotel entrance was near to the carpark we used at the front of the hotel. Inside the building; the room and general areas were in very good condition, the breakfast area looks very new. The room was comfortable and very clean; the bed was comfortable with soft pillows and additional pillow available. A Hair drier and portable radiator available in the room, Wi-Fi was available but a little slow. Unfortunately, there was no evening food however there is a pub adjoining the hotel property (less than 1 minute away) joined by a walkway (the food in the pub was very good and reasonably priced). Breakfast was available in the hotel which we found to be excellent and well worth the money. All staff encountered especially the breakfast staff were very pleasant, efficient, and attentive to our needs.
- Q1756LRstephaniew (6/5): Bit great for premier inn - The staff were friendly but parking was an issue - part of the car park was closed which meant difficult finding space and one morning we were woken to move our car due to the work being carried out. The bathroom was not esp clean. There is no aircon so had to have window open - woken one morning by strimming outside our window, another by lorry delivering. There is no mobile signal and the WiFi doesn’t work - to be fair the staff did give us the extra WiFi package, which was more reliable
- Q9804JVjeanettec (10/5): Brilliant - The best Premier Inn ever.
The first floor has a balcony overlooking a cricket pitch. Lovely big windows.
Ceiling and Anna were the receptionists while we were there. They were the friendliest and most helpful of receptionists.
The pub opposite was good
- B8668WGpeterh (8/5): Visiting Bristol - The rooms, fixtures and fittings in the rooms are great and the standard one expects from this brand. The outer building however does look dated and a bit tired.
The important things such as the bed and bathroom very comfortable, clean and all worked well. No complaints at all.
Very minor point but had to ask for extra towels as I have long hair. However I do approve at minimising unnecessary waste and reception were very helpful and had extra towels readily to hand.
Due to limited space they are quite strict about breakfast time which when I’m on holiday rather than business is a touch frustrating - still if that’s the worst point I’m sure you can see that overall this Premier Inn meets the brand expectations.
- funcarblue (8/5): Great staff but needs air conditioning in rooms. - Great staff, good breakfast and location good for travel to the south west. Downside the hotel did not have aircon, however the great staff prepared the rooms well to be cool enough to sleep. fan in room.
- Z3681ISalanp (6/5): Intermittent WiFi coverage - Staff are friendly and helpful, the bedrooms face out over a lovely cricket green so is a delight to stayover especially in the summer months.
As a regular visitor over the last 7+ years I have found for a while now that the only disappointment is the pathetic WiFi coverage both free and paid for - it was non existent during my last three visits!
After reporting this on repeated occasions to staff they say that attempts have been made to fix the problem and it is outside their control to do anything about it. As a business person this means I am out of contact with my office and clients by email during my 4 night stayovers unless I use the pub next door and has become such a problem that means I regret in future having to move to alternative accommodation.
- M3357NWemmaj (2/5): Dangerous electrics - Dangerous electrics. My son was electrocuted in his room when switching a lamp on. Have had awful response from the company basically called me a liar. Manager checked room after it was full of smoke and he told us he had complained about the electrics there before so they were aware there was a fault. My 3 children were in that room, it’s negligent.
- glenmoor27 (6/5): They could do with a General Manager who cares more about his guests. - Comfortable bed, no air con, food average pub fare, service fine… except the early closing of the bar.
Why close at 22:00 (last orders 21:40) when you have a bar full of men drinking and spending money on a Friday night. Ee regularly gear how the hospitality industry is really struggling to survive. Seemingly Premier Inn Bridgend is bucking the trend.
Apparently the GM was tired, and laid down the rules that everyone should shut up and have us out by 22:00.
We are a group of 25+ professional men, who have been visiting every year for 5 years. I suspect we will be finding somewhere else next year.
- Climber05669916084 (4/5): Uncomfortable stay at Premier inn Bridgend - This hotel has no air-conditioning and my room was on the first floor which faced the sun in the afternoon, the heat was unbearable, they provided a fan but that was insufficient to cool the room down
