Guest Reviews
- markscone (2/5): Don’t go here - Don’t go, worst hotel we’ve stayed in staff went out of their way to be rude and unhelpful, we ate in restaurant and wouldn’t recommend that either food awful and line it had been reheated and tasteless. Couldn’t pour a Guinness (3attempts) noisy room from a pump somewhere that intermittently cut in out, air con that doesn’t work, not great when you can’t open window, noise from other rooms , poor decoration( peeling paint, stained &dirty carpets)
Really felt we were an inconvenience to any of the staff we had to deal with.
- B9720SWrichardb (10/5): Lovely hotel worth stopping at - Lovely welcome hotel is in good condition bed was comfortable. Breakfast nice, best premier inn in Ipswich I’ve stopped at recently.
The lady who serves at breakfast on the 28th is lovely very very lively stopping to speak
to all the customers the lady who checked me in on the evening of the 27th was so helpful as well couldn’t fault any of them
- debbiekI5928MC (10/5): Excellent throughout..thank you - I have stayed in many Premier Inns previously but never found such a friendly one as Chantry Park.
The staff were all amazing especially Selina who looked after my sister and me as though we were family.
Each of the staff we encountered went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed.
The breakfast was delicious and well cooked.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and in fact were sorry to have to leave.
Emily …you are an excellent manager and have an amazing team .
WELL DONE .
- U4300KNchrism (10/5): Amazing premier inn - Me and a friend went into breakfast, very friendly helpful staff, amazing food. Particular mention to Emily on reception, so lovely ans welcoming and to selina who was very helpful and friendly with our breakfast
- Unluckylady (10/5): Bristolians visiting friends - This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and we will certainly booking this again. Staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, thoughtful and made you feel like a friend. I highly recommend this hotel
- rodb935 (10/5): Super staff - Stayed just one night but Reception and Breakfast service staff made this a really enjoyable break. They are a credit to their employer.
- BRhy (10/5): Wonderful service ! - Stopped in for breakfast with my family, Emily and her team were so wonderful and kind. Selina was so helpful and attentive.
- F193XZjimt (10/5): wonderful hotel - Great hotel, very clean staff are so friendly they couldnt do enough for us. We were there for a funeral which was very sad, but the staff made it all a little easier.
central location with lots of parking
- 739bigg (10/5): Peaceful - Best Great food and amazing pork sausages good service and people best hot hot drinks and good room lots of space and more and
- E9395VWpaulw (10/5): Premier room fabulous - Booked the premier room, couldn't fault it, the room was very large loved the arm chair and stool, bathroom was great check in very easy and the food in the restaurant was very reasonable and tasty.
- desi2000 (10/5): First class stay - We organised the entire family to stay here for a family gathering and a special breakfast the following morning. Lee and Selina worked over and above to ensure the most memorable stay and super special breakfast dedicating an area to our family . We all look forward to returning! Thank you for your most kind attention!
- sakaowto (8/5): Pleasant stay - We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of October and had a nice stay. I felt for the staff that were on though, as one young lady was on the reception desk one minute, next minute welcoming us into breakfast, then clearing tables, topping up the coffee machine etc., etc. She really impressed me with her work ethic and I actually called her Wonder Woman! The breakfast was very good and filling. In our room, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was fairly good. Downstairs, however, it looked like an area close to the reception area (the door near to the lift) had a recent water leak and the carpet was damp and unfortunately there was a foisty smell that lingered in the corridor, but all in all a pleasant stay.
- 534maxines (10/5): Great hotel and staff - This is the best hotel in the group we have stayed in, the service is outstanding. We were a wedding party of many. Lee greeted us on arrival. This gentleman is amazing, nothing is too much trouble, wonderful, kind and super helpful. Great asset to the hotel. Justin the breakfast chap was an fantastic young man who did his job brilliantly. All breakfast were correct and his service was top notch, Nicole the chef just brilliant, food excellent and hot. Hotel was clean and there was plenty of parking. What a great team you have here.
- sydneygT2364XJ (10/5): Fab - Beautiful hotel, loads of parking, nice staff, central location, you always know what you're getting with Premier Inn.
- Alisonthomason64 (10/5): Would happily stay again - Overall a good experience. Sadly in the accommodation area nearest to reception there was still a smell of damp and a nasty stain on a small area of carpet which I understand is from a recent roof leak. It would be good if the patch of carpet could have been replaced and maybe some fresh air into the corridor would help with the musty smell. However the room was comfortable, the food good and the staff excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
- laurabE5054OG (10/5): This Premiere Inn is a right gem! - This Premiere Inn is in a great Location, the staff are so warm and welcoming from the moment you step through the door. The room was really nice and the bed so comfortable with extra pillows if needed. There was a bath and shower which was a real bonus for us as we only have a shower at home, so was nice to have a soak in the evening and shower in the morning! We went to the pub next door in the evening for dinner and it was exceptional, the food so delicious! We will definitely use this Premiere Inn again soon!
- ScotlandWeelass (4/5): good hotel ruined by staff (or lack of) - this was a return visit, but we opted for the new(ish) upgraded room. This was fine, but things did not work. It took ages to get any hotwater in the tap on the sink. The vanity unit light had a mind of its own and switched itself on and off at random when we were in the room with electric on. Shamefully, the hairdryer was broken and rattled - when I tried to swich it on, it filled the room with acrid burning smell (surprised the smoke alarm didn't go of - it was that bad. Of course this place is so short staffed that trying to find a person, to even tell them we wanted our room cleaned was a mammoth task and we had to give u!
Check-in despite having checked in on the app was a joke - chap on reception just looked at us as if we were aliens, no smile or anything! the other lady was on the phone to a client and we had to wait whilst a queue got bigger behind us. Telling them I was a shareholder when we did eventually get checked in, was met with writing my number on a small post-it note, which then was lost, and having an argument every morning with different people managing breakfast was bad - especially the last lady on Saturday, who had clearly never seen the card before and scrutinised it forever. Breakfast on the Saturday was a disaster - no hot food, so we had to wait, it was better earlier in the week, but again the pastries bread etc ran out and were never replaced. We never saw any fruit juices at all! Ever!
the towels are rationed too!
- Passport44198345311 (10/5): Family trip - thank you - Thank you Selina and Lee for the great stay and breakfast ! Very comfortable and you looked after all of us so well!! Highly recommended and good value for money
- V8554TCmiriams (10/5): What a wonderful welcome! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and kindness from all the staff. 🤩🤩🤩 - We would highly recommend this premier Inn, the staff couldn't do enough for us! Special thanks to Selena! Selena went above and beyond for us. We arrived early so we could get ready for a wedding. The staff made sure rooms were ready and we were able to sit in the restaurant and have drinks and snacks nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms fabulous, clean and well presented. As always the beds extra large and comfortable.
Breakfast was served, freshly prepared the next morning and again Selena was a star, and made a huge fuss of my nephew and gave him some Halloween treats.
There were 10 family members and we all said what an absolute gem of a place it is.
Well done to all the staff , keep up the good work and high standards. We'll definitely stay again!
- RClarke100 (4/5): This has to be one of the worst Premier Inns i've stayed at - I do love a Premier Inn but unfortunately this one in Inverness - I wouldn't come back to, sadly. Receptionist was very nice and welcoming when me and my colleagues checked in at 1am and the car park is a decent size for any vehicles looking to park. My room was on the ground floor and as soon as I entered the hallway all I could smell was cigarette smoke which was very unpleasant. The room was large and spacious. Bed was comfy and pillows were soft the way I like them, so got a decent sleep, however, the room was far too cold as there was no radiator or heater in the room plus I could hear someone else's bathroom fan on whenever they switched the light on which woke me up a couple of times, the walls are that thin. Also, the water pressure was shocking. Had to turn the water pressure all the way to scalding hot to get some heat, otherwise, I would've had an ice cold shower. Unfortunately, due to the cold room, cigarette smoke in the hallway and the long wait for the water in the shower, I won't be coming back to this hotel
- M8782DYamandag (10/5): Wonderful Time - Need to say thank you to all the staff at the Chantry Park Hotel who were so helpful, friendly and understanding. Also I would like to thank particularly Jasmine and Selina who went above and beyond. They both worked so hard in ensuring myself, my three daughters and five grandchildren had everything we needed they were both amazing 🙏🙏 lovely stay and delicious breakfast.
- W9834YHnatalias (2/5): Terrible service, no free Wi-Fi - I just arrived at the hotel, and unfortunately, I didn't have a friendly receptionist. When I got to my room, the lights were on and the TV was on, as if someone had just left. The bathroom is handicapped accessible (which is very positive for people with disabilities), but in my case, there are no long curtains, water splashes all over the bathroom, and the discomfort of not even having a bathtub. I asked the receptionist for help, and she said that was it. She was curt and inattentive, and didn't even try to help. We asked for help with dinner, since the receptionist informed us that there were no opening hours at the local restaurant, and they simply said they couldn't help.
After hours of travel, what we expected was warm and understanding service.
Free Wi-Fi, only WhatsApp, everything blocked. If you want WiFi, you have to pay extra fee.
- Millienumber1 (2/5): The Most Stressful Experience ever with Premier Inn - After much stress and aggravation I have finally arrived to try and have a relaxing break in Inverness with my disabled wife.
On 30th August 2025 I booked an accessible wet room at Premier Inn Inverness West as below (under this complaint).
Last night at 2050 I received another confirmation email the same as below but the room had been changed to Double and not Accessible Wet Room.
I tried for 2 hours to contact the hotel by phone but no one was answering my calls. I sent an urgent email to the hotel before going to bed but like the phone calls there was no response.
I retried contacting the hotel again this morning on several occasions but no one was answering the phone. I contacted Premier Inn Central booking by phone but they could not resolve the issue and transferred me to the accessible team. The guy who answered the phone was constantly breaking up and I could not understand anything he was saying.
I tried the hotel number Again but no answer.
I re called the accessible team and spoke with Lana who was very helpful and understanding and did eventually manage to get my accessible room booked. She seemed to think there was a flooding incident or something at the hotel.
I left to take the 4 plus hour drive to Inverness and finally got checked in at 1800. My wife was extremely stressed and tired so I tried to get an early dinner booking but this was not possible due to staff shortage. So she's away to bed to de stress on an empty stomach.
On checking into the room it was inadequately prepared. TV remote not working (I fitted new batteries), only 1 bath towel rather than 2 and no hand towels. There was no extra pillows either but I did manage to get this resolved by the receptionist.
I also asked the receptionist about the issue with my booking, she said it was always an accessible room that was booked so I am unsure why I would receive a booking confirmation for a double room. There was also no issue she knew about with the hotel.
This has been the worst experience ever with Premier Inn over the many years I have used them. This is my third visit to a UK Premier Inn this year and could well be my last due to this appalling service. Whilst I accept issues can occur, it is imperative that staff at the hotel are on post to respond to booked guests. My travel was delayed because I need assurance that the room meets with the needs of my disabled wife before I travel a long distance as I cannot risk getting to my destination without such assurance.
Wet room didn't drain properly after use
TV kept switching off and on
Grill in Restaurant didn't work
Chicken curry was awful
- paulalesleyc (10/5): Amazing staff, great night sleep - I visit this Premier Inn regularly because of work. The location is great but more importantly the staff are amazing. Nothing is ever to much trouble. I have never had a bad experience and I have been visiting for nearly three years. I look forward to going as I sleep better there than home due to the quiet and the blackout curtains, plus the beds are so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- L1597BWmichaelo (8/5): Perfect for a short stay. - We arrived for a funeral in the Isle of Wight, so the Premier Inn was perfect for our stay. Although busy there was space in the car park and the check in staff were very helpful even asking if we wanted to book for dinner.
As alwAYS, Premier Inn provides a good clean hotel where we can always get a good night's sleep.
- RoddyH_12 (2/5): Room entered by unknown persions. - We stayed 2 nights at the Premier Inn at Newport, Isle of Wight on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th October 2025.
On returning at about 9.30pm on the Friday evening we were shocked to find the TV on Freeview channel 34 and the room lights on. When we left in the morning we had turned the lights off and also turned the TV off after we had watched BBC breakfast news.
I returned to reception and mentioned this to the young man on reception. He told me there was nothing he could do and so I asked him to call his manager. He said he could not do that as she would be putting her children to bed. I asked him to review the logs of room entry and TV operations and he said that the Maintenance Team would do that but it would be several hours.
I was quite astonished that he seemed to be placing no sense of urgency whatsoever on what had happened during that day. I asked him to send a note to his manager and he then typed something onto his screen and said his manager would ring me the next day (Saturday 18th) and I said to him please make if before 10am as we were booked on the 11am ferry from Fishbourne to Portsmouth. He also said the Maintenance team would investigate on the Saturday.
I have received no call and no feedback from the maintenance team.
I do think that Premier Inns should take unauthorised access to visitors’ rooms as a criminal act and should treat it accordingly. It is most disturbing to think that strangers have been in our room and although nothing appears to have been stolen, the psychological effect is quite disturbing.
- Meander397855 (4/5): Cleanliness 0 stars - We stayed one night and chose this hotel due to location which did not disappoint however the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The hotel itself is looking tired and could be doing with a freshen up but the standard of cleaning was poor in the corridor's and in the rooms. The smell of dampness hits you as soon as you enter the corridor and the carpets needed a good vacuum. It was evident that the surfaces in the rooms had not been cleaned, splashes on walls not wiped, and carpet not vacuumed. Would not come back.
Staff is bar friendly and helpful.
- paulcB4590PL (10/5): Weekend break - Great location, clean rooms, comfy beds, great shower , free parking, overall great place to stay, and a great price asaell
- sarahsW7549QY (10/5): Amazing - We would like to thank all of these staff from the premier inn Ipswich ( chantry park) Selina, Emily, chef Caroline, for the amazing service which we received from you, Selina and Emily were so helpful and friendly, we would highly recommend them to everyone. From nick, Sarah, Jade, Jordan, Jamie, Courtney, Dave.
- NorthStar549206 (8/5): Close to Jimmy's Farm - Very clean and comfortable. Staff all friendly and helpful. Bed so comfortable. Very quiet. Would stay again. Close to Jimmy's farm
- BuoysEpank (8/5): Warm Welcome and Comfortable Bed, But Cleanliness and Facilities Need Attention - I stayed here recently and was genuinely impressed by the warmth of the welcome. Staff were friendly and attentive. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was fairly good overall, though some areas could benefit from deeper cleaning, especially beneath the toiletry holder in the shower and along the bottom of the shower screen.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was very poor during my stay, which made it difficult to stay connected. More concerning were the restaurant toilet facilities (Ladies), which were dirty and had a persistent unpleasant smell, which this really detracted from the overall experience.
With improvements to cleanliness in both private and shared areas, and a reliable internet connection, this hotel could offer a consistently high-quality stay. The hospitality and comfort were definite strengths, but attention to detail in maintenance and hygiene is needed.
- petervH8861XJ (4/5): Recommendation is to avoid like the plague - Truly appalling - apparently had a leaking roof this week. But looking at the outside there is evidence of unhealthy damp on all vent areas.
Room on 3rd floor was unusable because of stink of damp and rotting.
I have been moved to ground floor and room OK
If you are looking at this expecting a Premier Inn experience I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
Restaurant has next to nobody in it but staff shortages mean that barely any booking available.
- 934dmitriyb (2/5): Brilliant staff, horrible hotel - The staff at the hotel were amazing — very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They even provided snacks on Sunday morning for the marathon, which was a thoughtful gesture. This is the only positive thing I can say about the hotel, and I want to emphasize that every member of the team was genuinely kind and attentive.
The hotel itself is very run-down, with leaks everywhere and unpleasant odors throughout. The corridor on the ground floor between the rooms had a drainage leak, leaving everything damp and musty.
Our room was poorly ventilated (the windows couldn’t be opened) and had a constant smell of moisture and mold. Every time someone in the hotel flushed their toilet, the smell would come through ours. The humidity in the room was unbearable — even after 24 hours, none of the towels would dry. Trying to minimize the number of towels we used to help the hotel reduce washing, we ended up having to reuse damp towels repeatedly.
We paid what I consider an extortionate amount for our stay (I understand it was a busy period due to the Loch Ness Marathon), but the condition of the hotel was shockingly bad for the price. I’ve stayed in many hostels during my student days in the 2000s, but I’ve never experienced one as poorly maintained as this hotel.
Oh and the wifi was atrocious.
- janeR3310NZ (8/5): Comfortable and ideally located for Loch Ness marathon and exploring Inverness and surrounding countrysidess marathon - We were pleasantly surprised after reading the recent negative reviews on various sites.
Despite the restaurant undergoing renovation and the hotel being very busy due to the Loch Ness marathon we were able to book a table for dinner Fri, Sat and Sun, albeit quite early. The food and service were good.
Communal areas definitely need an upgrade and more frequent cleaning but our room was clean and comfortable.
Staff were welcoming and free cereal bars, bananas and bottled water for marathon participants was a nice touch.
- amandacritchell (6/5): Great staff, very friendly and helpful, but the room was too hot overnight. - The hotel room was large and clean and the shower was great (but I asked for a bathmat to use as the bath was slippery). The staff were excellent - always helpful and quick to help whenever asked. The downside was that you can't open a window and the room was very hot overnight - the room controls didn't help and even the central controls from the reception desk couldn't cool my room overnight. The lowest the room temperature settings allow the room to cool to is 19 degrees, but with the heating from the corridor (and possibly from other rooms) my room was much hotter overnight (It was around 21-23 degrees in the night which is far too hot for me).
The bed was not that comfortable - a bit lumpy and the corridor had leaks from the ceiling so there was a large damp patch on the carpet in the corridor which gave off a musty damp smell.
- E1984SCrebeccaa (10/5): Lovely clean hotel and NO dogs! (other than assistance ones) - The best thing about Premier In is that they do not allow dogs (other than assistance ones) Everywhere is clean and there are no barking dogs in the corridors, no salivating ones in the restaurant, nor 'dribbling' ones in the rooms!
- Kellyoconn1 (10/5): Great stay - Had a lovely stay at the premier inn in Newport. Central to reach all of the islands attractions.
Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice of continental or cooked.
The staff were friendly and helpful and special mention to Ryan who served us in the beefeater next door-fantastic service, enthusiastic and helpful without being annoying.
Rooms were clean but would be concerned to stay in hot weather as no aircon. There was a fan in the room but still hot on an average September night.
- LadyMorgana2015 (4/5): 5 star money for Fawlty towers hotel. - Location is ideal for Inverness town and also to join in the Marathon activities. The atmosphere in the hotel feels dated and dull. Rooms were good and comfortable. The price I had to pay for the room was not good value - I would not use this hotel again for this event. Cleanliness in the public areas could be better but some of that is down to decor needing to be refreshed. Noise level in the room was good. Staff were amazing but could not cope with the number in the hotel. I felt very sorry for them - they were working so hard against the odds.
- jamessimpson2025 (8/5): Good premier Inn - There for a family wedding close by staff are friendly at reception and very informative about the area. Breakfast was very good freshly cooked and good value staff at restaurant very polite quick with orders and even knew who ordered what even though there was 6 of us. Night staff very good hospitality on arrival back in early hours. Hotel is clean and showers great. Would stay again 👍🏻
- 18ck (10/5): Nice personalised touch - By now I think most people know what to expect from a Premier Inn in terms of value for money vs frills. It's cheap and cheerful, and as long as you're not expecting luxury you'll be ok.
I was there for the Loch Ness Marathon because it's situated very close to the start line. There were so many runners there that the management laid out baskets of free cereal bars, bananas and bottled water for us go take on the big day. If you're considering staying for next year's marathon, I can recommend on that basis alone!
- 53kellyannel (10/5): Absolutely fantastic hotel. - My room was immaculate, it had a plug in fan, hairdryer, kettle and variety of teas/coffee etc, lovely soft, fresh towels, shampoo/body wash and hand soap all provided! I had a temp control panel to adjust my room temperature. The bed was extremely comfortable! Best night's sleep in a very long time! All bedding was immaculate too, very good value for money. I had no trouble with outside noise, it was very quiet. Plenty of outside parking space and all staff were very welcoming and polite. Breakfast was very yummy! Brilliant selection and good value for money as well. I was extremely happy with my whole experience and would definitely book there again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- ddrkk (6/5): OK but worse than other Premier Inn experiences - Premier Inn rooms are always similar business setting, comfortable bed, but annoyingly always carpet floors which sometimes stink. The room didn't smell nice. The design of the sink area in the bathroom was uncomfortable to keep personal hygiene items around it.
Location slightly out of the town. Personnel were nice.
- 283HelenS (2/5): Go Elsewhere!! Anywhere but here!! - Good points: the hotel has ample parking and is near to a canal, which is lovely to walk along.
Bad points: Pretty much everything! Nearly impossible to get a table in the restaurant. Someone took pity on me and gave me their table one night - nearly regret that they did, the food was awful. The breakfast was bad too.
Nowhere close by to eat - there’s the golf club but they were fully booked too.
Room was dated and the smell in the bathroom was noxious!
- Z4570LEelizabethg (6/5): Weekend away to see family. - Rather tired. No Bar or evening food. Shower not good. Pillows the thinnest ever. Television at one end of the room, not in the middle and fixed to the wall.
- brianl48 (2/5): Tired, dated & neglected. Staff work hard to make up corporate shortfalls - The only thing that this hotel has going for it now is the location, with easy access to the city centra or for heading South down the shores of Loch Ness. The staff do their best with what they have to work with. The building itself is tired and dated and very run down looking. No longer a "Premier" Inn for the prices they charge. Worst of all, the restaurant was closed for food two nights out of the four that I had to stay here. Very little or no notice given. The place just looks neglected these days and as such, I was due to return in October 2025 for business but cancelled my booking and went elsewhere . Rooms are tired and dated/worn out looking as well with the only thing going for them is the comfy beds. Unable to open the windows and sketchy air conditioning which was stinking in my first allocated room, which I refused . It smelt awful and foosty !! C'mon Premier Inn, give this hotel a much needed revamp, it is in an ideal location for exploring the area. Prices for this hotel are way too expensive.
- F6979IFsamanthac (2/5): would not come back - staff are horrible dont care about there clients. menu was in room picked what we wanted went down nd then said they cant do it. room stinks of dampness and mold
- JohnLamond (2/5): Do NOT eat here - The accommodation is good; the food is awful. The Tex Mex burger is probably not the worst I have ever had, but it is a VERY close second. Burnt, black & who puts tacos on a burger?
Service was dismal, took 20 minutes to take an order and a further 25 minutes before food arrived. I suppose that they had to burn it PROPERLY. The wine was described as “rich & smooth”. Aye right! Thin, flavourless. The worst Malbec I have ever tasted.
- FrostyFrost (10/5): Amazing staff - This hotel stay exceeded all of my expectations. You know what you are getting with a Premier Inn, and as usual the room was clean and the bed was comfy. However, what really set this hotel apart is its staff. Without exception the staff were friendly, great with kids, and went above and beyond to make sure we, and other guests, had everything we needed. They really did make a difference.
Although there is no on site restaurant, there is a well-rated gastro pub right next door, and the breakfast room provides the great Premier Inn breakfast that we all love. The only factor against this hotel is the lack of air conditioning, but if that is not a deal breaker for you I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.
- gplambretta200 (10/5): Clean room and friendly staff. - Staff were friendly an helpful, and rooms were clean. Only down side room was hot even with fan provided. No aircon working throughout.
- Q1377YSmaureenj (8/5): Exploring the Isle of Wight - accomodation - We enjoyed a good weekend .The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff
were friendly, caring and very helpful. Would recommend.
- sharonmE2586BT (10/5): Super short break with mum - Lovely, friendly reception staff, always happy to help, nothing is too much trouble.
Clean and comfortable room.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back again.
Thank you 💕
- FrequentFlier822881 (4/5): Worst three nights sleep ever - Terrible nights sleep. We went for three nights during a heatwave in August 2025. There is no air con in this hotel although they did provide a fan. I also took my own fan too but these did nothing to help. The window only opened a couple of inches and we spent as little time as pssible in our rooms. Going to a hotel should be a treat but ended up being a nightmare. No refund was given because a fan was provided and glasses of water available in reception. I have read many reports from other customers about this issue in this hotel so they are aware but not willing to rectify. Would never stay here again.
- 1JudyP333 (8/5): Definitely worth a stay - What a great arrive place, we arrived about 8pm , to I should think was once a beautiful building , Unfortunately now looking very tired but plenty of parking. The welcome of the staff more than made up for this. Matthew, Matt and Ollie between them ran the reception, bar, kitchen and dining room and they couldn’t do enough for us. We had a delicious meal , the room was clean and tidy and it was very quiet. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou
- billyjL5502VF (10/5): Great staff clean rooms NO air conditioning - Amazing staff, very clean hotel. However there is no air conditioning at this hotel which we did not notice when we first booked but s advised on premier inns website and with a heat wave the rooms were unbearable.
I would stay at this hotel again but not in the summer! It’s needs air conditioning installed
- Safari641471 (8/5): Premier inn isle of wight - Hotel staff are amazing, but some of bar staff are very awkward and unprofessional, the staff names of these people are Billy &Ryan
On the other hand the bar has other amazing staff and there names are Lieah and Bailey 10 out of 10 for these guys
- 788gwa (6/5): Too hot for comfort - This hotel has friendly and helpful staff and is well kept. However, the rooms are not air conditioned and are poorly ventilated. I stay once a fortnight and during the summer the temperatures experienced in the rooms is stifling, often exceeds 30 degrees Celsius. This is compounded by the fact that the window can only be opened a a few centimeters. There is a fan in the room, but it is noisy and just blows the hot air about.
I have raised the issue with the staff, who were sympathetic but could only suggested I book into another Premier Inn on the Island which has air conditioning in the rooms.
Come on Premier Inn you need to up your game!
- rededgates (4/5): Too hot and no air conditioning - I was shocked that there was no air conditioning as it’s what I expect from booking a premier inn. We needed an extra first night in Isle of Wight due to change in plans, we thought a premier inn would be a good reliable choice. But we barely slept due to the noise of the fan provided. We had to have the fan on a high setting to ensure the room was cool enough which meant a loud sound. Really unfortunate as the hotel is in a nice location and staff friendly.
- AprilP227 (10/5): Super friendly staff - Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms. One of the best premier inn I have stayed in
Good restaurant
No air con in the hotel but a very good fan was provided.
- bbhu (4/5): Don't stay here! - From the outside of the hotel, we had a fairly good idea of what we were to expect! It somehow didn't look particularly inviting.
The interior of the hotel was "tired", grubby and depressing, to say the least. The carpets in the corridors were exceptionally dirty. The rooms, (we booked two), were depressing, gloomy and in desperate need of refurbishment. There was no air conditioning in what were unbearably hot rooms. A small ineffective fan had been provided. The pressure in the shower was practically non-existent and we had to change our first room due to the fact that bubbles and a foul smell started to come up from the bath plughole!
In all, a most unsatisfactory stay and a hotel that I would never recommend!
- BeckyRayner (2/5): Awful. Unbearably hot room even ok a cooler day. - The room is far too hot to sleep. Not a particularly warm day and the whole hotel is very hot inside, our room unbearable. No aircon, and windows don’t open far enough to let cooler air in. Concerned for the well being of my two young kids with me. This hotel is not fit for purpose - DO NOT STAY HERE. Shame on you Premier Inn.
- weihua (10/5): - Cleaning & quietly
