- enrighta (10/5): First time at a Premier Inn, a great surprise. - Well what a surprise having never stayed in a Premiere inn before I really didn’t know what to expect. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by a lovely gentleman on reception who was the duty manager “Danny” who was most helpful in every way possible. We were both very impressed with this hotel, everything was as advertised, a good bed, nice room and breakfast but most of all great value and super friendly staff. Will you use Premier inns again? We definitely will.
- jscata (4/5): It's a pity time ago Premier inn was lovely - Dear Sirs, I booked by phone directly with premier inn, 3 doubles rooms and 1 single room, this last room interconected with one of the others rooms,Breakfast included. we had 4 doubles rooms not conected , we had to pay for the breakfast for 7 pax, because in the reservation the hotel said that they didn't have the information about the breakfast included. so we have paid + 195,86 pounds. And the last thing is that nobody says to us that you have to annonce at the reception if you want cleanservice. so nobody get the new towels,neither the WC clean. the reservation was made by telephone and one room was at my name and the other tree rooms at aa, bb cc. really dificult to find them by the checking service.Really incredible!
- meridian_east (8/5): Excellent location - Great location, about a 7/8 minute walk to London Bridge station and 2 minutes from Borough Market. There are lots of food options nearby, and a Tesco Express around the corner. The room was clean and the facilities were decent. I didn't get breakfast but there was also coffee station near reception and a snack machine. The check-in staff were great and very friendly. The hotel is down a small alleyway but it felt safe for me as a female solo traveller. I would stay at this location again!
- Roam27748601652 (10/5): Excellent stay and can't wait to return - I stayed at Premier Inn Algate for a work trip. After a long journey, I was checked in very quickly by a lovely man. First impressions of the hotel upon entering were great. It's really welcoming, warm and clean. My room was on the fifth floor. It was a Premier Plus room. I'm not sure I booked a Plus room or it was an upgrade, but it was superb. It was huge, with views of the shard. The bed was massive with clean, crisp linen and very comfortable indeed. The room also had a lounge chair, desk and chair and wardrobe. I was pleasantly surprised to find an iron and ironing board which I needed to use. It saved me a trip to reception. A coffee machine was a lovely touch, as was two mini chocolate bars and water in the mini fridge. The bathroom was large with a bath. The shower gel and handwash felt luxurious. I had dinner in the restaurant. I've never come across a steak restaurant within a Premier Inn before. I chose a burger with a mushroom and truffle mayonnaise and fries. Service was good in the restaurant and the food was tasty. Before my meal, they offered a small bowl of popcorn on the table. The popcorn was covered with beef (maybe?) flavouring, and although this isn't something I'd usually go for, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a few bites. Breakfast the following day was superb. Buffet style and plentiful. The cooked selection was hot and quality produce. It had a really nice and relaxed ambience in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Just around corner from St Paul’s Cathedral and Millennium Bridge over Thames. Welcoming and personable staff who take pride in their jobs. Warm, clean and well presented restaurant, bar and check in area with well laid out seating areas. Good sized rooms in quiet location. Excellent value for money based on location, room size and quality of decor. Would definitely staff here again.

This time I had just had a bad fall and wasn't fully mobile so when we checked in I asked for a room with shower rather than bath . This hotel was the perfect base, upon arrival the man on reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, a very comfortable bed, with zero noise!! A brilliant breakfast and equally good restaurant which serves great prosecco!! 10 out of 10 for premier inn aldgate!

- Y7007WBemmar (10/5): EXCELLENT! - 30 Family and Friends stayed at Blackfriars Premiere Inn to attend the wedding of my son. Every member of our party found the staff at this Inn superb. They were incredibly helpful and kind and went out of their way to accommodate small children and elderly grandparents and everyone inbetween. Breakfast on both days of our stay was delicious and generous, and to cap it all off they put a bottle of fizz on ice in the room of the groom. We will definitely stay again. Thank you all.

Breakfast was lovely and wide choice. A big shoutout to Ayesha from reception, who let us have a late check-out since our flight wasn’t until 6pm — it honestly made things so much easier for us! Especially with a toddler. Really appreciated the kindness and flexibility. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in London for a short trip!

- 711agnes (4/5): Good staff, but rooms in poor condition - We have stayed with Premier Inn many times and usually have a great experience, but this visit was disappointing. We had three different rooms due to damp smells, high humidity and maintenance issues (broken ventilation, air-conditioning turning off, water running down the windows, even mould on the ceiling). The reception staff did their best to help and moved us each time, but the overall room quality was poor. We were also promised a follow-up email about a refund, which we never received. Very unlike our previous stays.
- bertvanloen (8/5): Great staff, practical location, but pay attention to what you book - It is important to consider that booking a standard room means booking a double room, twin rooms apparently only available in premier rooms. That was confusing and we ended accidentally up in a double room, while we wanted a twin room. The locations is practical, close to the Translink station, but the immediate area is not very attractive. Rooms are good, bathrooms is efficient, with a good shower. Breakfast is good, although we missed more continental oriented rolls with cheese or ham or alike. The staff is really very friendly and helpful, that makes a big difference.

Very clean room, nice toiletries, super comfy bed and good value for a London hotel. Downside was the poor service at breakfast on the two days we stayed there. Took too long to get seated first day and on both mornings, there were long waits for the buffet to be replenished with sausage, eggs, etc.

Room on 5th floor, little annex opposite the lifts, however no noise at all from the lifts. Breakfast on the Saturday morning at 10am was pretty chaotic. Not enough tables set up for breakfast and clearly not enough staff as had to wait about 10 mins to be seated and a similar time for some cooked items. Other than that, stay was excellent. Big shout out to Chady on the front desk. In a world full of robotic, vanilla check in staff, he was a breath of fresh air - very personable, happy demeanour and enjoyed a laugh with the guests. Hotels need more front staff like Chady, a real credit to Premier Inn.

- Kmb1976 (10/5): Good place for families. - We had a family room for two adults and two children. The hotel was welcoming. We were able to leave our luggage in the morning and go and explore London. It’s centrally located and easy to get to the tube. The area around the hotel felt safe. The staff were friendly and gave the children some complimentary sweets.

- 984finlayh (4/5): Poor standards overall - The hairdryer in our room didn’t work, the light on the mirror didn’t work, the shower was leaking heavily onto the bathroom floor, the plumbing (?) system was extremely noisy, and the towels didn’t smell clean. We also had a knock on the door at half 9am on morning of checkout asking if we were out yet by housekeeping - this was a bit of a shock given checkout isn’t until 12pm. Thankfully we were awake to hear the knock but if not, would they have just let themselves in? I’m not sure but either way, shouldn’t have happened. This was our 3rd stay in this Premier Inn and will be the last unfortunately.
- GlasgowHappyHolidays (8/5): Central location yet quiet rooms - Location was amazing around 200m from London Bridge station without needing to cross the road. Very hardworking team which were a credit to the business completing multiple roles from receptionist to servicing tables at breakfast. Rooms to the usual Premier Inn brand service. We had a walk-in shower which was better than the normal bath. So why not excellent? Sadly the main entrance is down a small lane that opens up leading to the reception. The lane is located off the bourgh high street and often during our visit smelt like a toilet! It was also the smoking location for the Tesco staff next door. This just forced me to knock off a star otherwise I would have happily rates this hotel excellent!!!
- Fishdude (8/5): Back Again - Second time at this hotel once again attending NFL game at Tottenham. Location is perfect for transportation being so close to Blackfriars Station. Hotel is well run. Only complaint is the WIFI which is dodgy. Breakfast buffet is great! Room is spartan but had all we needed for the week.
- sarahlF8240RK (8/5): A great spot to base yourself - Overall we had a lovely stay. The location was really convenient for what we had planned in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a twin room which consisted of a single and double bed. Both beds were really comfortable. We both slept well. The staff who served us were all helpful and courteous. We didn't use the restaurant or bar. Purely because our plans meant we ate and drank elsewhere. It was very basic, but perfect as a base to center all your plans around. We would both stay here again.
- JasonVII (8/5): Very quiet hotel in a good location - The Premier Inn London City Aldgate is really well situated, a short walk (or one metro stop) from Liverpool St station - where the Stanstead train comes in too. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to Tower Bridge We stayed in the Premium rooms on the fifth floor. It’s a great sized room, bed is comfortable and the floor is very quiet with no noise coming from street level It just so happened that the bathroom door didn’t lock in the room we were in, but we reported it to reception on the way out, so hopefully they fixed it The TV’s don’t have smart features if you’re planning on streaming anything, which was probably the only criticism I’d have for a modern hotel like this one

- Julia (8/5): - Sehr gute Lage, sicher und 3-4 Minuten zu Fuß bis zu Blackfriars Tube, und mit der Tube kommt man sehr schnell überall hin. Auch zu Fuß ist man relativ schnell an meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein Mitarbeiter (relativ jung, südländisches europäisches bzw. lateinamerikanisches Erscheinen) war leider konstant wenig freundlich, was sehr schade war, alle anderen - wirklich super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Sauberkeit war gut. Das Abendessen haben wir nicht probiert, das Frühstück war vollkommen in Ordnung, typisch englisch, aber auch Gebäck, Croissants etc., wir waren zufrieden. Vielen Dank, wir wollen sehr gerne wieder kommen.

The receptionists was brilliant and very friendly who couldn't do enough for us from telling us which tubes to catch, what shopping centre is the best, I could go on. The rooms were spacious and very clean too. Would definitely come back here when I come down again as I cannot fault anything.

- Davidjellis (8/5): Decent value Premier Inn close to Tower Bridge and the City - I stayed here on business for one night as I was working in the area the next day. I had stayed here before many times so was familiar with the hotel and its facilities. I booked a standard room and breakfast. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from Tower Bridge and the Thames, Aldgate East Tube station and Liverpool Street mainline train station, so is a great location to explore London. Brick Lane is also just a few minutes walk away. My room was on the top (6th) floor and was well equipped with all I needed for my stay. The only minor niggle was that the (free) standard Wi-Fi was a little on the sluggish side but apart from that the room was great, with a super comfy bed and large flat screen TV, work desk, ample power sockets and a decent bathroom with a large shower head. There were tea / coffee making facilities in the room, although it seems they now provide two sachets of caffeinated coffee per person as standard, so anyone spending time in the room (or needing decaf) may need to get supplies from reception. The breakfast was fine...a good selection of chilled fruits, yoghurts, cereals etc , and the hot selection was appetising and tasty although some of the items were not piping hot and perhaps had been sitting for a while. Otherwise all was good and the staff I spoke to were friendly and quietly efficient. Check in and check out were fast and hassle-free. Overall a pleasant stay and will no doubt return.

- cheryljoyce03 (10/5): Best hotel in london - We stayed here yesterday and I can honestly say what a fantastic hotel, we were so looked after from start to leaving,all the staff were so very welcoming,breakfast was delicious, bed was so so comfortable, loved it,we are now up the road in a 5 star hotel which was booked by my daughter for a birthday present, and it’s not a patch on the premierinn .
- Karen (6/5): - We had a basement room. Would have been nice to know that. Thankfully we only stayed 2 nights but it was very uncomfortable and twin beds were hard as rocks.

- 160stewp (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - Great location with about 3 min walk to access London Bridge Underground. Borough market 5 min walk. Bed was comfortable, pillows not so much, very quiet location. We stayed in the Premiere level on the 4th floor. Room card access for elevator. No safe or kleenex provided. Water daily 2 x 330ml bottles. We ate one time for breakfast and it was OK, nothing special. Will stay again.
- StewartP513 (10/5): Enjoyed Southwark - Spent last night in this Hotel. Would consider ourselves regular Premium Inn customers. Lost count of the number of stays over the last 15 years. It’s in the middle of everything in south London, so handy It doesn’t have an outside or street view, sign down an alley and that’s it, In through the door and the world changes, typical Premier Inn reception, small dining room and bar. The star of the hotel is Jenny, Jenny seems to be everywhere, reception, bar, restaurant, very friendly, happy, smiling and helpful. The rooms are as you would expect, always clean and fresh. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in at any Hotel. Had a great stay, can’t wait for our return

- pierreingram (10/5): Convenient comfortable and served all our needs - Had an operation at London Bridge hospital. This hotel was totally convenient. The room was good bed very comfortable and the staff most helpful.
- Occtrix53 (10/5): Excellent - Excellent hotel, clean, central and friendly staff. London bridge tube and train station very close by as is a brilliant view of London Bridge and the Shard. Being so close to the stations made the city very very accessible and also the airports. Will definitely stay again.
- Manuela (6/5): - Die Lage war sehr zentral für einen Städtetrip. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten das Gepäck sowohl vor dem CheckIn, als auch nach dem CheckOut im Hotel deponieren. Leider wurde unser Zimmer während unseres Aufenthaltes von 4 Tagen weder gereinigt, noch der Mülleimer geleert. Auf Nachfrage haben wir neue Handtücher an der Rezeption erhalten.
- pnworegonmama (10/5): Premier Service at Premier Inn – Comfort, Care & Great Food! - We had an excellent stay at Premier Inn - London Southwark. Check-in was quick and effortless, which made a great first impression. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. One of the best night’s sleeps I’ve had in a hotel. What really stood out was the staff, especially Jenny, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The food was another highlight – both breakfast and dinner were delicious with plenty of choice. I really appreciated how attentive Jenny and the chef was when it came to allergies, making sure everything was safe and suitable without any fuss. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish.
- joannefG7983SM (10/5): Clean hotel great location staff excellent - Staff were fantastic ( Courtney Saeed Tim Bethe and the two gentlemen who were on reception during the early hours who gave me iced water and turned the air con down in our room ) Staff were fantastic in dealing with the initial misunderstanding of booking requirements as we booked through central reservations They showed professionalism and were so helpful dealing with the issue exceptionally well. They brought a birthday cake to our room when they found out it was our son’s birthday. They Printed a document for us and Provided us with helpful information regarding getting around London and storing luggage We would definitely recommend this hotel but book direct and not with central reservations Thank you everyone at PI high st Southwark
- Twinkle (10/5): - We had a very good stay here - Family of 4 we booked the quadruple room. We took the package with breakfast included and that worked out great. Good selection of breads - eggs - cereal and more location is very convenient with multiple public transit options and lots of places are walkable. Staff is great and helpful. Totally recommend staying here.

- Andynod79 (10/5): Family comfort and ease. - We have just returned from a 4 day trip to London with the kids. We had an amazing time and the hotel was central to the whole trip. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff, lovely food to set us up for the day... Will certainly look to use Premier inn again for city breaks.
- Joanne (8/5): - Room did not have plug in for CPAP machine next to bed. Only had plug-ins for phones. Requested extension cord advised to buy one - hotel did not have one. Ended up moving smaller bed closer to TV so I could plug in machine. Cannot sleep without aide of my machine so this was a significant concern that we were surprised had not been addressed previously - design flaw with room. Hotel allowed us to check in an hour early for a fee. This all said we liked everything else about hotel, including food service and location. Staff are friendly.

- Adrián (4/5): Un MOTEL bien ubicado - Muy buena ubicación en la ciudad, pero definitivamente las habitaciones y el servicio son como de MOTEL y no de un hotel. En ese sentido, me pareció que el costo es excesivo para lo que se recibe.
- Mathieu (6/5): - Bien situé, bon déjeuner et confortable. Par contre, les chambres au sous-sol sont très décevantes avec le peu de luminosité et l'absence de vue.
