Guest Reviews
- neilmc67 (10/5): Good value for money. - We use the Premier Inn at Swanley quite often. It's always clean and tidy and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
Good value for money.
- 193maritaa (10/5): Short break visiting friends - Very good for 2 nights. Nice staff. Room good but prices differ a lot on the 2 nights.the Sunday was reasonable but the Monday was much more expensive!!
- Passenger55915892776 (10/5): Happy with our stay. - Happy with our stay very helpful and polite, room was very comfortable and clean definitely would come back again. Thankyou
- charlyc724 (8/5): Decent Stay with a Few Minor Issues - Clean and spacious room, as you’d expect from a Premier Inn. Everything was comfortable and tidy overall. One small issue: the net curtain fell down when I opened the window, which was not great! It would also have been nicer to have someone at reception to welcome me, rather than having to ring the bell and wait to be checked in. There was also no one on the desk when I left either!
I opted for the continental breakfast, which was perfectly fine, and the waiter was absolutely lovely. Personally, I feel £8.99 is a little on the expensive side—especially when I don’t tend to eat a lot first thing, though I appreciate it’s an all-you-can-eat setup.
Overall, a decent stay with a few small points that, if improved, would make the experience even better.
- Andrew (8/5): - Had some issues however Mike, the manager, took care of everything and made my stay very good. I really appreciated his help! I would stay again thanks to Mike's attitude and wanting to make things good for all his guests
- rogerh653 (6/5): Overnight stay - Hotel is a little tired compared to other premier inns . Ran out of some items at breakfast and had to look for staff to replenish
- patwright57 (10/5): relaxing stay - A really enjoyable two night stay at this premier inn. All staff very helpful and friendly . Accommodation very comfortable and the "wet room shower/toilet" perfect. Plenty of parking spaces.....but make sure you enter your car registration to avoid a fine. Other shops/eateries close by and an enjoyable breakfast at the brewers fayre.
- sbX9775DQ (10/5): Will be back - Exceptional stay Swansea Premier Inn! Big shout out to Jade at reception, very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious 😋
- cobeyw2025 (2/5): Bruh - Got a parking ticket even tho it says free parking 🤦♂️👍………………………………………..,,,….&;£;£;!4!4!;£;£,!,!,,…,,,.,…..
- NWS1959 (8/5): Premier Inn in the heart of Swansea City Centre - Visiting for the theatre. Great location with NCP car park next door. Great reception and check in from lovely staff. Room as expected. Very clean. Bathroom with excellent shower.
Good beds but had to open window to cool room which meant we were disturbed by nighttime street noise.
Standard WiFi is slow but did not upgrade to their premium package.
Overall great experience so would recommend.
- croftytyson (10/5): Football Match Stayaction - Brilliant location, easy to find. Very helpful staff and as we were celebrating a birthday they gifted some chocolate as a present. Breakfast hot, tasty and constantly replenished. Definitely be back
- iziegbuwasandrao (10/5): Cozy stay that feels like home - I had a really pleasant stay at Premier Inn Swanley. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location easy to reach from the M25 and close to shops, Bluewater, and public transport. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the whole place felt quiet and relaxing. I slept really well, and the blackout curtains made a big difference. The staff were friendly and professional, always happy to help with a smile.
This hotel is great value for money. It’s exactly what you’d hope for clean, well-run, and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
- Shabz47 (8/5): Visiting the beach - The staff were really great.
The room was good
The breakfast was awesome
Negative is the WiFi. My boys are always on utube. Even that was sorted out when I talked to the staff
- samanthapurle (10/5): Good stay! - Parking facilities good register your number plate at reception, reception very friendly good service, bedroom comfortable slightly smaller than some family rooms we have had. Breakfast cooked fresh and staff brilliant even though they were super busy
- Dan (8/5): - Bars and restaurants near by.
- 632alixd (2/5): 0/10 - Checked in fine with no problem, later returned to hotel at 3am to be told guests were not allowed to stay ended up stranded with nowhere to stay after spending £90 for the room and no refund or alternative accommodation. Staff were rude with very little care, found cannabis in the bathroom upon arrival, will not be returning.
- B1752BOmelanied (2/5): Wouldn't let me check into my room !! Bad move premier - Booked a family room here for myself , 2 friends going for a night out , room was just as expected . Upon our return looking forward to sleep after a night out we were told ,we couldn't & couldn't get our bags belongings either !!!! £88 for a room this hotel wouldn't let us sleep in . No reason given no refund given , joke & total bs.....will be complaining to head office sept 25.
- Amanda (2/5): - The floor in bathroom was sinking and it smelled old and musty. Staff were rude when asking for toilet paper and towels.
- FellowTraveler286068 (10/5): As expected - Once we located it, we were greeted with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and quiet. All good! Went for a drink in the evening, bit disappointed by the frozen lemon slices??
Breakfast was excellent. Catering for vegan diet.
- X4003BAclaireh (8/5): Good value night away - Good value night away! We stayed 2 nights, easy to check in don’t forget to enter your car registration on the keypad in reception. We had a room in the block over the road, lots of car parking. Room was clean apart from the bathroom fan and the hairdryer was full of dust. The mattress was so uncomfortable and the room was so hot. The window you couldn’t open due to being on the second floor and the air conditioning wasn’t that good. The corridors were absolutely boiling despite it being warm outside. We didn’t eat at the restaurant. Plenty of places nearby Costa, Asda if you need anything.
- StevenK3028 (2/5): Seriously, find somewhere else! - The whole place needs a good deep clean! Dust and grime everywhere, the sink in the bathroom didnt empty, worn carpets and the place smells of fried food.
Zero phone signal and couldnt even get the paid wifi to work!
Having stayed in other Premier Inns in the area this is by far the worst. Wont be going back!
- Odyssey64126266130 (4/5): Not great!! - Filthy room. Dust all over the headboard and stains all over the bedsheets. Nobody was manning the reception, even pressed the bell a few times no response.
- MathMagicMan (8/5): A good Premier Inn but the company's care and attention to detail is starting to become less impressive ya it was - The hotel is always welcoming, staff are efficient and the room is as comfortable as you expect from a Premier Inn. There is plenty of free parking.
But the attention to accessibility is poor with the only lift not working for six months now and volume of television set ridiculously low.
The meal deal is no longer the great value that it once was.
- Joe (8/5): - Great Location, staff was friendly, rooms were clean perfect for what we needed for our trip. Would return
- bobbet03 (10/5): Nice break - Excellent hotel very clean & spacious comfortable room. Breakfast in the Bull adjoining the hotel was good value very nice, the restaurant was very clean & well stocked, we didn’t have any other meals but the menu looked very reasonable with discounts if you ate more than once. We enjoyed our stay there it gave us the independence to stay close to our relatives but in our own quiet space. We phoned & requested a ground floor room as the lift is out of action & the staff were very accommodating . I would have no problem recommending staying there.
- davidbA6638OU (8/5): Good room, terrible food - Good premier and great reception staff. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Breakfast in the morning however, was terrible. Undercooked, tasteless and unappealing. The staff in the restaurant were miserable and obviously didn't want to be there which is how we felt after having our food served! Honestly the worst breakfast I've ever had at a premier inn. We cancelled the breakfast on the second morning of our stay and ate at a much netter place down the road. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
- Teacoaster (6/5): Good but noisy. Don't have room 202. - Room clean and tidy. Bed comfortable.
Unfortunately room 202 which was mine was right by a corridor door that every time someone walked through would loudly shut with a thud. The room is also located just above the entrance to the Beefeater restaurant so I was disturbed by people shouting and talking loudly when they were outside the restaurant coming & going or sitting outside smoking.
Having said that I have stayed here before in a different room away from said door and restaurant entrance and all was good......so if your offered room 202 or 201 ask for another room.
- E9312XYjerrya (10/5): Soft and comfortable bed ! - It was a warm welcoming and Lovely experience. Spacious bedroom. Polite staff and affordable meal deals. Lovely environment and beautiful people.
- madenuk1 (6/5): Just ‘ok’ - Conveniently located hotel for Swansea situated on a retail park. Quite a lot of rubbish on access road giving a not very good impression. Staff friendly as always and comfy bed however, standards of cleanliness are less than we’ve come to expect of a Premier Inn. Some grime in bathroom around shower tray and wall mirror and also toilet hinges. Extremely dusty skirting board, hairs, also dust on bedside light fittings and kettle plug and socket. Staining on chair and very suspect looking stains on bedside table legs! Requested room cleaning as we were staying for two nights but this was not done. Have submitted a separate complaint re hygiene issues. Attached Brewers Fayre is ok for a cheap lunch but didn’t have breakfast there.
- components2025 (6/5): Not great. Missing room facilities & awful bar/restaurant. - Usual comfortable Premier Inn bed, no desk in room, so not great when visiting on business. Restaurant is abysmal. Bar closed at 10pm. Staff at breakfast have a truly horrible attitude, also refusing to replace items on the buffet that gone, even though breakfast still had an hour to go. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times before, but next time I am in the area I will be staying somewhere else.
- O4271ZWpaulaj (10/5): Fantastic service, rooms and staff - This hotel is in an excellent location for shops, restaurants and Morriston hospital. We stayed for 12 nights whilst my husband was in the hospital, which is only a quick 15 minute drive away. We asked to change rooms to a lower ground floor so it had better access and the staff were fantastic. Peter on Reception was so helpful and arranged a quiet room on the ground floor and his colleague Rhys helped us move our luggage which we really appreciated. Julie on housekeeping was brilliant and she was always there checking if we needed anything on a daily basis and inquired how my husband was doing at hospital which was such a lovely thing to do. Well done Premier inn North for being a wonderful place to stay and going above and beyond. Need to come again in October so will be booking again. Thank you Paula, Shaun and Brandon.
- 142ebonyh (10/5): Highly recommend - I highly recommend this hotel.
All the staff there are super lovely, the check in and out was so quick and there very reliable when you need help!.
Good location, not too loud.
The bedrooms are perfect and it was so tidy!
All the supplies you need are there.
- oluchipetero (4/5): Disappointing stay as dirty toilet rim - It was a very disappointing stay. The toilet rim of the room we were in was very dirty. We informed the cleaner on our floor and showed her the dirty rim. We were told it was black limescale and cannot be cleaned. That all the toilets on that floor had the same problem. The key fobs were not working due to a technical issue overnight. When we returned for the second evening we found our room had not been cleaned because although we told the cleaners we had not told the front desk. We were not told this rule at check-in and is not clearly displayed. We had to move to another room for our second night where we still encountered problems with the keys. We also had to collect a second towel as there was only 1 towel in the room. This room did have a clean toilet.
- Escape64342314294 (10/5): Excellent customer service and reasonable price and clean rooms. Claire and her colleague was excellent - Claire (Clare) helped us get a room. After we had a tired and stressful day of 3 AirBnb cancellations of accommodation bookings, and other places fully booked. Claire and her colleague went over and beyond with their excellent customer service in Premier Inn Swansea City Centre, they made us feel comfortable. Claire is a very hard-working proactive worker who multitasks and works well under stress, and delivers service efficiently, with a smile. We were always happy to be in her company the few nights we stayed from 21 August 2025. Please acknowledge her hard work. Thank you Marlon and 3 others.
- 592levid (10/5): Amazing mason was - Brilliant service and very helpful staff highly recommended this hotel to anyone that wants to stay here in lovely sunny swansea
- JanM634 (2/5): Not Good - Well , not much good to say here except the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
Exterior landscaping looks scruffy and run down.
Lifts don’t work. We were pre warned.
Bar shuts at ten
Breakfast service really poor. One poor lady trying to keep a full restaurant going.
Ripped and torn chairs.
Not clear how to actually get the much publicised all you can eat breakfast, but we were warned That we know it’s all running out we are doing our best.
Stayed here several times in the past to visit family, but wont be back.
- elizabethpQ1151NO (6/5): Overall a lovely stay but sadly tainted by lost property - The staff were very friendly in reception and also very helpful. I was travelling on my own with a 1 year old and a 5 year old and was offered extra help should I require it.
The room was clean and comfortable, although we had enough beds for 5 people!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However it was sadly tainted by my son leaving his library books on the window sill of the room and, despite calling the hotel to check, these were not handed in to lost property which has greatly upset him and me.
- 40aamiri (10/5): Stay at Premier Inn North Swansea - I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and great customer service. Rhys was incredibly friendly making us feel right at home.
There is plenty of parking space and close proximity to many venues and restaurants. A clean and comfy hotel.
- katevbob (8/5): Comfortable stay - Last minute booking as another accommodation fell through. Very easy to get to and check was smooth. Room a little old, a couple of the charging ports were broken and the bath plug was broken. The sofa (which could be made into a bed) was very lumpy and I think I felt every spring. That's the negative done, now the good points, very comfy main bed and everything you need in the room. Had a lovely bath (even with the broken plug) and the room was clean and very well insulated, heard very little of the main street below me which is lined with nightclubs and pubs. Staff were very friendly and the lady who helped me at breakfast was amazing. I am celiac, so I need to be very careful with my food, I was able to have my breakfast cooked separately from the group and changed the cutlery on my table. I felt nothing was too much trouble and had a very nice breakfast.
- Trip30897958916 (10/5): A good relaxing stay. - We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and well kept. The shower/bathroom was very nice with fresh towels, and soap's. All in all a pleasant 4 days stay.
- MPB_OBE (10/5): First time at a Premier Inn but will definitely use again. - I was a little trepidatious as we approached the hotel as it appeared to be in the middle of a trading estate but need not have worried. The hotel was quiet with plenty of free parking right outside the hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming, check in was quick and efficient. The rooms are clean and very quiet with comfortable beds all of which contributed to a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was delicious and unlike similar chain hotels was kept constantly resupplied. I was very happy with the overall experience and would stay again. My only complaint would be regarding the free WiFi which was almost non existent in our building - this may have been because we were in a block of rooms away from the main building. Other than that minor complaint it was a really good stay and the staff are to be commended their efficiency and friendliness.
- Ray121 (2/5): Poor and illogical customer care - We arrived 2 hours before check in time in the hope our room was ready, which indeed it was. However the guy on reception would not let us access the room unless we paid an early check in charge of £15. So we were left standing in reception with our luggage and nowhere to go for two hours. I think it is outrageous that Premier Inns feel such contempt for their guests and think that such poor and illogical customer service is the way to go. I understand that they may level an early check in charge at the time of booking but not when you arrive and the room is ready
- andytZ8500EL (8/5): Great location for visiting attractions. - Rooms and breakfast were to the usual standard and staff were friendly and accommodating.
Great location with so many eating and drinking options on Wind Street and less than 10 minutes walk from the marina, Swansea Arena, Plantasia, several museums and many more bars and restaurants.
- 457rhiannonj (4/5): Disappointed - Room was dirty with overpowering smell of mould. We got moved to another room and had to take our luggage and towels from previous room into new room, then take the old key down, which was inconvenient after a long day of travel and a rush to get ready. The new room had not been checked and unfortunately was in a worse state than the previous room - dirty desk top, skirting boards thick with dust, fake nails on floor and debris.
The breakfast did not have black pudding as stated on website, juices and pastries not topped up. Staff member that was on was lovely but was run ragged, not enough staff and not a comfortable experience.
On a positive note, the hotel is well situated in the city, and the bed was comfortable, just a real shame about the cleanliness and how it was dealt with.
- Talldavid (10/5): Room problems but sorted with no fuss by the excellent Brian and Tanya. - We have booked for a 3 night stay and had booked a family room and had been given a double and single bed but needed a double
And 2 singles. On the first night this was not available but the Hotel staff of Brian and Tanya sorted the problem out with no hassle at all. The service they both gave over the visit was 1st class and the company is lucky to have them both.
- DiscerningTourist (8/5): Time to sort the wifi - Usual standard Premier Inn but was let down by the poor service in the evening at the adjacent Brewers Fayre. Also the wifi is distinctly average. They should really do away with the 'ultimate wifi' paid option and concentrate on a better general capability.
- PETER (8/5): - What a GEM. Will be returning!!!
- johnlV1284PG (4/5): Parking fees - It would have been nice if the reception reminded us to register our car's registration on their tablet when I booked in as we incurred a fine of £60!
- lyn65d (8/5): Love a Premier Inn!! - We had to book here very last minute after being let down by a booking with hotels.com. We arrived just 15 minutes after booking so the room was understandably not ready. Michele on reception was alone and he rushed around like a madman trying to get the room ready for us in between sorting other guests at reception. We had a little wait but it was no problem, he was an absolute star!! He took our case to the room while we went and had a drink next door which was just as well as the lift was not working. Room was spotless, well equipped comfortable with black out curtains and air con. We had a long wait before we could get a place for dinner in the Beafeater next door but when we got there the food was spot on and the service was great. Particularly Carol who was so lovely. The restaurant is a little tired and needs a bit of a cleanup/refurb but all in all the unexpected last minute stay here was a godsend.
- mike355robins (10/5): Never disappointed - Always know what to expect and PI never disappoint, rooms clean, tidy, everything works, good shower, bed and helpful staff.
- TarahLowe (10/5): Great base for exploring Swansea City and the south coast. - Family room was comfortable and clean.
Great nights sleep, so quiet.
Breakfast is excellent, and great value for money.
An excellent base for exploring the south coast and city of Swansea.
Less than a 10 minute walk to Swansea Beach, and 10 minute drive to the beautiful Caswell Bay.
As it’s in the city centre, great access to a range of restaurants, bars and shppping.
- Z8441AHjanetf (6/5): Good hotel shame about the restaurant! - We use this hotel regularly when visiting nearby family. The staff and rooms are great, no problems there BUT the adjacent Beefeater Restaurant is another matter! To say the place needs a makeover is an understatement! I actually wrote to Whitbread after our last stay in March with accompanying photos of the ripped seating, filthy chairs and scuffed walls. In their response they told me that they pass on my remarks to the estate manager! I believe nothing has been done.
- KaelaLee88 (10/5): Excellent! - This is a lovely hotel in a great location and has recently been re-styled/refreshed. It is particularly good for Wheelchair Users with fully equipped wetrooms, spacious rooms and plenty of disabled parking. We've stayed here twice now and highly recommend it x
- LizzyNorthDevon (10/5): First class service - Great welcome. First class - Receptionist was really helpful.
The gentleman on reception was outstanding. So helpful and kind. Faultless.
- 624JanetB (10/5): Warm welcome and comfortable room - We were greeted at check-in with a warm Welsh welcome from two gents who genuinely cared about why we were there and making our stay perfect. Room was very comfortable and bathroom was great.
- Discover46013160777 (10/5): A great hotel great location wonderful staff - The beds are great and spare pillows if you need them clean rooms and bathroom cleaned everyday plus tea coffee making in the room and a hair dryer
- pinkht (4/5): Air Con Not Working - Although the welcome was great, room as expected, the food was good, what really spoilt this was the aircon not working. We chose this hotel over others without a/c. No maintenance to fix the situation for our three night stay and although we were provided with two fans, it really didn't help the situation. The staff were very apologetic, but it really dampened our stay and the enjoyment of our stay.
- 776junet (10/5): Brilliant staff - I have stayed twice at swansea North in July, the rooms were spotless and comfortable as always.2 fans provided both times the standard fan was very quiet. Its the staff that make this hotel stand out.they always have a smile and make time to ensure you have everything you need. They always go the extra mile.outstanding in my experience. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
- Pioneer82825 (10/5): Great location to stay in Swansea - The rooms are very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Jade at the reception is very welcoming and helpful for any inquiries. Its a very convenient location when visiting Swansea. Cafes and restaurants are right next to the hotel and the Swansea city center, sea side, bus station and train station are located just a few minutes walk away.
- Roam66414866499 (6/5): Premier Good .Beefeater Restaurant Terrible - The Beefeater restaurant attached to this Hotel is in serious need of a makeover. I think the staff have even lost interest in trying to make it look half decent and I don't know how they can show dinners to half the seats in the restaurant as they are ripped and torn beyond repair. It must be disheartening for Staff to work there.
- Owen5555 (10/5): Family stay, toddler, young kids - Great location with plenty in the area. I would consider it great value for money. We stayed in family room and the personal note left by cleaners I must say was a really nice touch with a bag of sweets for the kids!! Across a week travelling around the uk I would also say stay the staff here were by far the best and very welcoming. This makes the difference when you compare to other locations. We also had dinner and breakfast here and to be fair it was hard to fault and some good value for money. Overall good experience.
- Safari17719614030 (10/5): Another Great Stay - Another great stay at Premier Inn Swansea North. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with good choice of food. Good location close to large Asda a few minutes walk away. Also Greggs and Costa on site. Would recommend
- Departure47853710811 (10/5): Well worth considering for a base for Southern Wales - Had a fantastic few days at this Premier Inn. Particular mention must to go to Vicki, Logan? (The Cocktail Queen) and Angela. These three members of staff were always attentive and chatty and asking how we were, what we had been up to / what we were going to be doing. In short, they took an interest in us and didn't treat as merely as paying customers that were passing through. The bedrooms and the bar/restaurant area were always clean and tidy with no build up of glasses, plates etc. Situated on the northern outskirts of the town, with easy access to the M4 East and West, and the Gower Peninsula, it's the idea base for a bit of exploring.
- beverleyh526 (10/5): Lovely sleep. - What a great hotel and friendly staff. The hotel receptionist was very helpful, explained where the room was. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable beds and good shower. Slightly noisy about 6 o’clock in the morning. Think staff were going to work in the restaurant opposite. Good value for money. Highly recommend.
- C3525FJalisonw (10/5): Excellent hotel, great facilities. - Excellent hotel, very pleasant staff and a clean and comfortable room. Check in was quick and efficient. The room was spacious with good quality bedding and a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee were freely available around the clock. Would definitely recommend!
