Guest Reviews
- ethe2025 (10/5): Enjoyable - Staff are friendly and are always happy to help you and thefood os very good. It has acces to get transport links and their is loads of food resturants.
- 302nalinj (10/5): Excellent service from Dorothy - Dorothy, the chef, is incredibly friendly and provides amazing customer service every time we visit for breakfast. She really makes the experience special, and the food is always delicious.
- 548jurajt (10/5): Perfect - Porfect , nice staff. Friendly. Delishes food , room alvaysclean, reception always happy to help with everything good ,
- V5172YNjays (2/5): Bad ex - I had planned to host a meeting at the Premier Inn Orpington but was disappointed to find, once again, that the restaurant area was not properly lit. Given that this is winter and it gets dark early, the space was effectively pitch black, which made the environment feel unwelcoming and inappropriate for a professional meeting.
Seeing someone working at a computer in near darkness, along with several children sitting in the area, raised concerns around safety and general standards. Adequate lighting should be a basic expectation, particularly in shared public spaces.
Unfortunately, this experience meant I could not proceed with my plans. Based on this, I would recommend considering the Bromley location instead, which has consistently provided a more suitable and comfortable environment.
- R8036DFdavidc (10/5): Great hotel - Lovely stay, very comfy bed and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
- EitanM_12 (4/5): a very disappointing experience - Although we booked a room with two beds, we got a large bed and a sofa that was very uncomfortable.
The hotel only cleans the rooms upon request. When we asked to have the room cleaned, we returned and found it with the beds not made, the trash can not be emptied, the glasses in the room were not cleaned or replaced until after several requests.
The location of the hotel is very good, close to two major metro stations and in the area with many restaurants and pubs.
Overall, a very disappointing experience
- carlotam (2/5): Perfect location. Very dirty - I gave one star for the room due to the extremely poor first impression. We stayed in the Premier rooms on the higher floors, which are significantly more expensive, yet the condition was completely unacceptable.
As soon as we stepped out of the elevator, the corridor was visibly filthy. The carpets looked as though they hadn’t been vacuumed or deep-cleaned for months, with stains and dirt throughout. Unfortunately, the same was true inside our room: the carpet was dirty, and the wall was chipped.
The worst part was the bathroom. There was a clump of old hair in the sink drain, the shower tray did not drain properly ( I didn’t dare to look what was blocking it!), the shower head had visible mould, and there was also black mould around the shower screen frame. This level of hygiene is simply unacceptable.
Being a three star hotel does not excuse a lack of cleanliness. I fully understand that furnishings don’t need to be brand new, but I do expect a spotless, hygienic room regardless of star rating.
At least the reception was friendly, but that’s all.
- T9113XIpaulam (10/5): Excellent location & Great beds ! Excelkent value for money. Right beside stunning london tower - Excellent hotel Great cosy beds, Fantastic location. Delicious breakfast. Will defo come back. Highly recommend. Thank u
- martincK1403SI (10/5): Top Marks for Adriana, Khattab and Jumman at London Bank (Tower) Premier Inn - We recently took our 7 year old Granddaughter to London for her first visit, so we booked a Family Room at The London Bank (Tower) Premier Inn. We have stayed here several times and always found it to be a nice and friendly place but on our last visit it was looking decidedly tired and in need of some TLC.
I’m happy to report that it has a had a Wonderful Make Over and it looking very modern and clean, our room was amazing with a a double and single bed, plenty of space for us all and a decent sized bathroom.
Breakfast is really good and “Free for Kids” it can get very bust between 9am to 10am (so go earlier) but the staff were Absolutely Marvellous at keeping everything Ticking Along, clearing tables after each course and the food just kept on coming, a most enjoyable experience !
I would like to make mention of the Manager who had everything Running Like Clockwork, he was clearing tables himself and filling up the coffee machines. He organised his staff expertly and was very friendly and helpful, I would like to make Special Mention of Adriana, Khattab and Jumman who were Truly Amazing and always had a Smile on their Face and couldn’t do enough for us, Thank You Vey Much
- Haloldn (10/5): Good value in good location - Good location, nice and quiet. Staff were friendly. Good price. Didn’t eat at hotel but food looked good. Lots of happy guests.
- changodeyio (10/5): cosy evening - They were kind, friendly, open, welcoming, and understanding. A very pleasant and relaxing evening. Thank you to them both. See you soon.

Dee the head chef was brilliant...
All credit to your organisation.
She certainly delivers!

- thetopof (10/5): Great stay, great staff - Great stay in this hotel again.always stay here when in London with the wife.great location for exploring everything.the staff at this hotel are amazing and made our stay this time extra special.the only gripe would be to have a staff member on the bar in the evening that can make a cocktail instead of only been able to have simple drinks but all round fantastic stay
- 835chefe (4/5): Disappointing - shower too cold and no perks in premier inn plus room - Great location and reasonably cheap . However - the premier inn plus room had a lot of wear and tear. The self check in didn’t work for us on two machines, which meant we had to queue (we were told this was because there was only one set of towels, which seemed slightly odd). We were not provided with complimentary chocolates or water on either night of our stay. We asked at reception and were told someone would bring them to us, but they did not. That might sound trivial, but they advertised as one of the perks of the room. Also - the shower was too cold despite being set to the maximum temperature. Overall - disappointing and not up to the standard of many other premier inns we’ve stayed in.
- arX3765ZK (10/5): Great hotel - This hotel is in a great location rooms were great, comfortable and very clean and the breakfast was amazing as were the staff especially khatab , Jumnan and Claudia
- Smithy_Gang (10/5): Great Premier Inn & Staff - Great Premier Inn & Staff
I travel quite a bit from work and stop in various chains IHG, Marriot, Hilton and Premier Inn. As with all chains some can be hit and miss especially in recent times with Premier Inn (maybe because Lenny Henry left 😂). Anyway with a trip to London for and exhibition and function location was key.
After busy day I checked in the Premier Plus room which was clean, spacious and as expected. Too tired to venture out in the cold for food I opted to eat in which I rarely do. Prior to eating I had some calls to make which the staff left me to make in a very quiet corner of the restaurant that was probably closed but it was appreciated with a nice pint.
I ordered steak with the trimmings with onion rings and I’ll be honest not expecting too much. The service and food was excellent and better than some restaurants charging double.
Breakfasts have been equally good with the buffet fresh and nit stood and dried out as you sometimes find. Thanks to all the team including Naim, Ellen & Brenda
- jimmH463ZW (10/5): Another great stay at a Premier Inn. - Another great stay at a Premier inn.
A good clean and comfortable room. Nothing fancy or chintzy. A good functional room and bathroom.
I slept really well so the bed must have been comfortable.
- jeanwU6807PE (10/5): Well done Premier Inn .....we loved our 3 night stay and amazing staff. - Premier Inn had the most friendly and helpful staff which certainly made our stay special. Breakfast was really lovely and as much as you could eat.
- JonG290 (8/5): Clean, comfortable but customer care could be better - Clean and comfortable room. Quite expensive and an efficient, if somewhat soulless, check in experience using the digital screen. The fact that staff entered my room twice in the morning (unannounced on the second occasion) was annoying and disturbed my sleep.
- whereisthemenu (6/5): Mixed experience! Could be better - We had to move bedroom as there was black mold on the ceiling of the bedroom near the window - this may be because the extractor fan in the en-suite wasn’t working. The hotel should have not given us this room.
Good breakfast but no gluten free bread (one of us has an intolerance)
Ordered poached eggs but they took “ages” to arrive. The breakfast service is extremely under staffed when the hotel is busy eg on a weekend
One lift wasn’t working and the other didn’t stop on our floor for some reason (on occasion), all a bit random
Pillows are extremely hard
However, the hotel is well located and other aspects of the breakfast are ok eg lots of fruit, pastries etc.
- David-on-T (4/5): David on Tour - I’ve stayed at this hotel lots of times, but sometimes you just get fed up with poor service. Premier Inns now do not clean your room if you do not request it before 12 each day. You can’t even say can you do it every day of my stay, no you have to tell them at reception every day. They started doing this in covid times and now it’s standard poor service and procedure. When your paying £220 a night you expect some service, so I asked for my room to be cleaned and to a certain level it was but this excluded making the bed and replacing tea and coffee making items.
- B2620EJmarkc (10/5): Premier inn oldstreet - The Premier inn (Old street) is a fantastic location to stay if you are looking for quick and easy access to see the sites of London. The hotel has fantastic food, drinks and really friendly staff. I have been staying in the Premier Inn for over a year now and have been really pleased with my experience. All the staff have been really helpful. Especially the manager Daria, who has been very accommodating during my stay.
- dartmoorp (10/5): Great Choice - Great hôtel, fantastic views from the plus rooms on the 12th floor.
Food was consistent very good. Hakar was friendly and recommended dishes from the menu. Gordona worked efforlessly keeping the restaurant clean. Will stay again.
- MonkeyLover70 (10/5): Very friendly and helpful Spotlessly clean - Super friendly staff- Daria was very helpful and welcoming. As a solo female traveler it’s good to know that you have a welcoming place to stay.
Centrally located and super accessible- clean and tidy
- T5736XPchristinem (4/5): Shower cold - Location was good.
Staff were friendly and chatty.
Bathroo. We had trouble with the shower when the repair guy came he was friendly.
Although my husband had to go to reception twice to get the shower sorted.
When i adventially got my shower the water was not hot at all.
- oliviastedman21 (10/5): Great stay - would definitely recommend! - Great stay! The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean. Price was affordable. Location was perfect, with easy access to buses and trains for going up to London. Heating/AC worked very efficiently. But the highlight was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered. Everyone was very welcoming, Dorothy cooks the tastiest breakfast! It’s a budget hotel with 5* staff!
- evaoR810RY (10/5): Incredible! Front desk personnel was so helpful - It was a great experience, staff anee helpful and sensitive to guests' welfare. Will surely return.. it was a wonderful experience. Kudos !
- D8655ONsp (10/5): Excellent customer service - Excellent location and fab personnel: Adriana deserves a specific mention, phenomenal customer service and very helpful even before you check in. Strongly recommend, will definitely use again!
- E8932CQkyleh (10/5): Great hotel, great location - Great hotel with great staff. We stayed with our young family for my partners birthday. It's a perfect base for going out site seeing the delights of our capital city, Very close to the Old street underground Northern line
- Marbeag (10/5): Great central location - Location was amazing! Views of sky garden and the shard! Walking distance to many famous attractions! Walking distance to the underground! The kids loved the welcome pack on arrival! Clean, modern rooms! We will definitely be back when we return to London!
- StrangeKindOfWoman (10/5): London Family Trip 2025 - This was my family's 2nd time staying at this hotel. We stayed here in 2023 and had no complaints. Great location(5 minutes from Monument Tube Station),Attentive staff and lovely room.
- 75vaughanm (10/5): Great experience - I had an exceptional experience. The team at Old Street are “second to none”. Daria and Naim are amazing always looking out for us. Will definitely return :)
- jamessF351XA (10/5): Premier Inn, Premier Chec - Really nice staff, relaxing visit above all Dorothy (the chef) made our day.
Very good stay, the environment was welcoming, professional and all round great servi
- 589jehanm (10/5): Fantastic! - Fantastic staff, delicious breakfast! Dinner menu is nice. Rooms are clean, super comfortable and we had a great night sleep!
- teresabQ5741BN (6/5): Oh dear not too good - Although the room was a nice comfy bed etc the restaurant and bar was dreadful. Sorry but such delays in delivering food ordered and bad food too.
- rolyh621 (10/5): Pleasant stay - Food and service was very good, special mention to Dorothy the chef who always welcomed you with a smile. Nice breakfast too.
- I4410CRsharonm (2/5): Poor customer service - Only good thing was the location.
Not a good experience.
You had to ask to get room serviced before 12pm daily. Twice we asked, one day at 6.30am and next day at 7:00am and left tag on door and neither day was the room serviced. Towels had a revolting smell to them. Booked into restaurant for dinner at 8:30pm one night only for lady to tell us they were too full and no. The gentleman who booked us in did get us a seat but the lady was aggressive when serving us and was swearing and angry throughout the evening at the man. Was very uncomfortable especially when the restaurant didn't have many people in it.
Customer service really let them fien
- A9294WMcatherinem (10/5): 2nd Visit - Great location, our second time at this hotel. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Great breakfast and a comfortable and quiet room/bed.
- GrahamMcM (6/5): Rooms not ready for check in - Checked into this hotel at 3.30pm and there seemed to be a problem. Check in took longer than usual as they seemed to be struggling to find us rooms. I was there with my brother and we had booke d a room each. We were allocated rooms and when we went to them they hadn't been cleaned. There were towels on the floor, the bin full and the bed unmade. When we went back to reception the receptionist was very apologetic and helpful. He allocated us new rooms and it was second time lucky for my brother but not for me, my room hadn't been cleaned again. Again the receptionist apologised and said there was a problem on his computer system meaning he couldn't ascertain which rooms had been cleaned. Then he allocated another room but this time he went to check it was clean before giving me the key and third time lucky I got a clean room this time. He couldn't have been more apologetic and it wasn't his fault but it wasn't really a good look for the hotel getting an unclean room which I've never had on any of my four previous stays at this hotel.
After the initial problems were sorted out I enjoyed my stay. The rooms had been renovated since I was last there two years ago, the beds were comfortable and the room was also very quiet. Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is close to Monument and Bank underground stations giving good links to the rest of London.
- david-jane27 (10/5): Massive Rooms - Family of 2 adults and 2 children staying for one night. Check in quick and friendly. Room was enormous! Very clean, great bathroom. Faultless for a one night pit stop!
- Curious55986304708 (2/5): Terrible - Cushions were uncomfortable, hairdryer didn't work, cleaning was slapdash (full bin bag left on the side, hair and debris left around, cleaning cloth left out) and worst of all we were placed by the main doors from the elevators into the rooms, which banged everytime somebody came and went, my husband has epilepsy which means sleep is very important, and despite our complaints absolutely nothing was done.
- jerryf2025 (10/5): Great management and service! - Harris and Shamin had amazing service. Great job guys thank you so much for a great experience for our London visit! Definitely going back on our next visit!👍
- davidnF2685LY (10/5): Excellent service - I was shopping in Orpington and fancied some breakfast, thought I’d try Premier Inn breakfast, I was greeted by a very professional young lady called Ellie, who took my payment and showed me to a table and explained all I needed too know, whilst helping myself to my buffet breakfast, I asked the chef for some freshly cooked eggs, a very nice/professional Irish lady called Breda, who told me “give me a couple of minutes “ and I had my freshly cooked eggs, Brilliant. A young guy, Jay came over and asked if my food was ok. Thank you all for a brilliant breakfast/experience.
- X1559GBpeterr (8/5): Room clean, tidy, refurbished and quiet. Avoid the restaurant - Refurbished room on the 5th floor is nice, spacious and clean. A food nights sleep as it was quiet. The restaurant is poor - bith food and service - and is best avoided. The room wasn't cheap at £254 a night - you'd think they would try a little harder with the restaurant at that price.
- Lanilim (10/5): Lovely solo stay - The breakfasts were always lovely. The chef, Dorothy is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a very good size and beds are comfortable
- 466frankd (10/5): THE AMAZING CHEF DOROTHY - We had breakfast on three occasions during our stay.
These were the the very best I’ve ever experienced at Premier Inn.
I’ll be back.
It is patently obvious that DOROTHY the chef, is extremely conscientious and proud of her work.
She was smart, polite, prepared the foods professionally, displaying it invitingly.
Premier Inn management should make every effort to retain her services because she is a credit to herself and the company.
- Thomas (6/5): - None
- gillr791 (10/5): Fantastic Staff - I’d like to express my appreciation for Dorothy the chef at this Premier Inn. Her breakfast is delicious and she is so helpful. All of the staff I’ve met at this PI are delightful.
- BearsHol (2/5): Insect bites and head office denial - Came home covered in insect bites. Complained to Head Office and Environmental Health. No tea and coffee in the rooms. Food was mostly overcooked and cold. Just a horrible stay.
- Veino21 (10/5): Breakfast experience - The breakfast was lovely.
The chef, Dorothy, greeted me with a huge smile. I had to say to her, what a beautiful smile to see first thing in the morning. The service of staff was wonderful. The customer service made it extra special.
Dorothy, keep that beautiful smile! Thank you!!
- W7180OXveronicam (6/5): Great location but no fresh air in the rooms - Perfect location and in a well serves area of London but not very clean rooms and... please give us the opportunity to open the windowas and get some fresh air from time to time. The air in the room was thick and humid!
- ShilS (2/5): Good location, poor cleanliness - Location was the only good thing about this hotel.
Cleanliness of room is in need of major improvement. Each day the room was supposedly “cleaned’’ we came back to a filthy bathroom which had visibly not been attended to. The only thing the cleaner did was change the towels.
There was remnants of toothpaste/hairs/dust etc covering the white good surfaces.
Dirty mugs were left and not replaced meaning we had to request clean ones from the bar.
Infact, one of the nights my partner had an accident on the bed (she was menstruating at the time) and it was visibly soiled on the outer surface of duvet cover - this should have prompted the cleaner to change the duvet even without request however instead it was left like this for the duration of the stay.
Due to the above, we did not feel that we were in a clean and comfortable environment and this affected our ability to get a good nights rest.
In addition, reception and restaurant/bar needed to be staffed better - there was only one person manning both reception and bar with extreme long periods of wait times to be served each day/night - customers were all disgruntled by this.
- 465davef (8/5): Location just right for us, decently priced (for London) - Located just right for us (near the family members we were visiting), decently priced for London, and reasonably quiet and comfortable. Despite the QR code reader failing to read my printed QR code, check-in was pretty good. We will certainly stay here again for future family visits.
- V1713JUjaym (6/5): Helpful staff but poor facilities - The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was very busy but the staff always ensured the service was to a good standard and that there were no food shortages.
The rooms were very dated compared to other premier inns I have stayed in which made it feel worse value for money.
- Mette (4/5): Slidt og nusset - Meget slidt og nusset
- 603LauraW (2/5): Threatening behaviour to female guest by the night duty manager - I have used Premier Inn many times for business and used this one to stay with my children. Very aggressive and intimidating behaviour from the duty manager when we checked in, coupled with waiting until 1am in the morning for bedding.
Raised with head office and nothing has been done, also asked for the GM of the hotel to contact me but hasn’t.
If they had monitored the CCTV that was above the reception desk that evening it would show how disgraceful his behaviour was.
The whole experience with Premier Inn has been in-excusable and will not use this chain again.
- C6193GUstephene (10/5): One night in Orpington - Great central location. Room up to usual standard - clean and comfortable, nice and quiet considering the location. Typical Premier Inn value.
Breakfast, prepared by Dorothy, the chef, very tasty and cooked properly. She also checked me in for breakfast and was extremely helpful and friendly.
- 901laylaw (10/5): Stay at Orpington Premier Inn. Excellent. - The location was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely definitely value for money. There was no noise. The breakfast was very tasty Dorothy (chef) did a very good job. Absolutely great.
- Aske Scott (8/5): - Rigtig fint hotel til prisen
- Nelson (8/5): - Good location, poor customer service
- Okkes utku (2/5): Don’t recommend - The room was smelling so bad! As we can’t open the Windows the humidity Was so high and the pipeline smell was so bad 😷. Location is good but I would prefer being far and sleep in more hygienic room and bed.
- Ellinor (4/5): Just book somewhere else. - This is by far the least helpful and rudest staff I've ever encountered.
We had 2 rooms, for four nights, and everyday there was some issue. We had requested to change rooms, being told twice that it was no problem, only to later being told that we couldn't, and how impossible it was. Housekeeping would enter our rooms with out permission, even though the front desk clearly told us that they need our permission to do so, causing us to be awakend by staff who just opened the doors, without our consent.
When we asked for our rooms to be cleaned, they only cleaned one. When we asked about it, we were only met by a shrug and a cold "wasn't on the list", though clearly they where. Here's the part where they at least should have asked if we'd like any towels or if there were anything they could do, but alas.
The unwillingness to help was beyond, and I would not recommend anyone to book this hotel. Having been a receptionist for 9 years my self, this has been a display on how not to be a receptionist, and I have been shocked over the level of unprofessionalism of this staff. In the end we wouldn't even bother asking if we had any questions or requirement.
- Tourist34925072625 (10/5): Breakfast at Premier inn Orpington - We had breakfast at the premier inn Orpington and Dorothy was the chef. Excellent service, very friendly and professional.
- Julia (8/5): - Einfache, saubere Unterkunft. Ruhige Zimmer, bequemes Bett.
- Johnathan (10/5): - Great location for underground access to city. Limited parking but after 8:30pm and on weekend there are free spaces nearby. NCP car park is 8 minutes on foot but quite pricey. The usual excellent Premier inn breakfast. Air conditioned room was a big plus.
- Maria (4/5): - Smutsigt. Obefintligt wifi.
- Victoria (2/5): - Absolutely horrible stay! We had no water for a whole day. I was in the middle of brushing my teeth when the water shut off. Then we had another day where they scheduled a water outage. Any time we asked for assistance (which we didn't ask for much) they never came. When we checked in the bedding hadn't been changed and was covered in stains, the shower drain was constantly clogged so the water wouldn't go down very much when you showered, and the complimentary waters in the mini fridge were open.
- Jose angel (10/5): - Good place to Stay, and the staff is kind and helpfull. Breakfast servirce is great
- Anne-Kathleen (6/5): - Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig vom Draußenlärm, kennen wir in anderen Städten anders.
Bad könnte renoviert werden (Schimmel sichtbar), Lüftung sehr laut, Duschkopf könnte erneuert werden
Personal freundlich, aber freitags beim Frühstück überfordert
- Frank (10/5): - Great stay for a great price. Close to tune in perfect location. I’d highly recommend.
Hjelpsomt personale.
- Viviane (10/5): - We had only two nights stay. Check-in was quick even if we arrived earlier. Staff was very helpful. Good location.
- Geertje (6/5): - I was not too happy with the bathroom: shower in the bathtub but no handrail to help getting in or out. Shower was not adjustable so not easy to keep your hair dry. No shower cap. The ventilation did not work in the morning?
The tv switched on at 11 pm by itself every night.
- Patricia (6/5): - Easy access to the Underground allowing for travel all throughout London
- Yerkciv (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel for a stop over to visit family nearby. We have stayed a number of times before & the staff were as always friendly and really helpful.
- rebeccajN2652AC (10/5): Nice hotel - Check in was quick and the staff were so friendly. Had dinner with family and the food was amazing. When we checked into our room and there was colouring and pencils with chocolate for the children. This was a lovely touch from the team. Thank you again
- Wanderer28497186413 (8/5): Very clean, comfortable and convenient - Very clean, spacious, comfortable room with a great central location. Reception staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Car park is very close in the nearby multi storey attached to the shopping centre.
- 583ritsp (10/5): Excellent staff - Aksana is an incredible asset to this site. Always smiling, helpful and incredibly hardworking.
I'm a frequent guest at this site. Location is great transport wise and for food. Rooms are clean, smart tv is a bonus!
- Cheryl (6/5): - This hotel was good for a one night stay. The room and property are clean. Expect one towel for two guests and no facial wash clothes (must be an American thing). While check-in was not easy using the kiosk, a staff member was quick to help when asked. An unannounced fire drill, on Tuesday, was very nerve racking, especially being on the 11th floor. Luckily, it was just a drill.
- E6437NHaliced (10/5): Friendly staff - The staff have are always so helpful and accommodating anytime I have stayed.
They always have a smile and happy to help :)
- laylad585 (10/5): Amazing stay - I had a wonderful stay here, All the staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone!
- 729lirae (10/5): Wonderful stay - Stayed in Orpington lovely location and the breakfast was spot on for a proper start to the day. The room was really spacious, had a great night’s sleep with the aircon on. Everything was clean and cosy just right! staff were very helpful and friendly!
- rebeccamF1462XP (10/5): I'll be back - Great hotel, great staff and real comfy bed. My stay was very enjoyable. The hotel is well managed and clean. The staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough to help us out.
- Observer54 (6/5): Positive & negative experiences - In advance, hotel team member Ellie helpfully allocated me a quietly-positioned room (and it was, thank you) and gave me a cheerful welcome on arrival. The room was in accordance with the hotel's standards of cleanliness, including the bedding and bathroom.
The parking arrangement with the nearby Walnuts multi-storey car park is always appreciated, along with the convenience of shops and cafés in the immediate area. All encountered staff were pleasant and helpful, including above-mentioned Ellie.
It became apparent that on entry and at each return to the room (318), it had a consistently musty smell. At the end of each day when I returned to it, it was necessary to turn on the air-con' full-blast to clear the air and the background smell but it had only returned by the end of the day on re-entry. The bathroom was ok.
The room was a so-called Quad Room, having a double bed and two divans which could be made up to single beds. I can only suppose that the room has either been heavily used by parties of four or that some kind of human (or animal pet) "accident" had previously occurred there and lastingly impregnated the bed or general furnishings with the remaining dank smell.
When I returned home, I still needed to air all my clean clothes and luggage to eliminate pervasive odour. On this occasion and unlike after other stays, I was very glad to leave.
- Photis (8/5): - Good hotel for a night
- jordanmX0SR (10/5): Amazing - I visited Premier Inn Orpington to see my friends. Check in was so quick and in that little time the team member told me everything I needed to know. In a room was massive bed and so comfortable really had good night sleep. In a morning I went to have some breakfast for £10.99 you can eat as much you want that's such a good price. I really loved my stay and definitely will be coming back.
- alanj219 (4/5): Poorpington - Cold room, bed too high, sealed windows make you feel caged in, no loo brush, no adjustable shower head, no propper loo roll, not enough towels for 2, no free parking before 6pm. All in all it is i imagine what a prision must feel like. Having said that the staff were lovely.
- Riothamus (10/5): As good as many West End Hotels and better than some. - As per usual Premier got everything right.Airy, clean room, comfy bed, clean and well stocked.Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced.Staff were friendly and helpful ( they saved property I had left there).Excellent stay.
