Guest Reviews
- Roving51236687792 (10/5): Relaxing stress free stay in comfortable imaculate room. - Came for funeral locally so wanted no fuss efficient hotel. Staff all quietly efficient and friendly. Excellent chef looking after hot buffet which was first class. Excellent lication on sea front.
- Grassington20000 (2/5): Disgusting- Nothing like the adverts - I can’t believe Premier Inn a supposedly trusted brand Inn are allowing guests to stay at this hotel. It’s in desperate need of renovation. There was thick black mould on the inside of the window, a wasps nest outside the window, no shower head on the shower, a broken skirting with exposed wires and pillows so flat and worn if you picked them up the folded in half. The staff were doing their best and friendly.
- georgewT9719TW (4/5): A bleak stay in Gargrave - Tv in room wouldn't work so given another room. The alternate room bathroom toilet seat fell off.
The restaurant was a joke in the evening, the guy who greeted us at 1900 said they were too busy to serve us and it would be 2100 at the earliest as the chef leaves at 2200,he suggested we find somewhere else,so we did,we went down the road to the Swan pub ,0.5 miles away and had a lovely meal.
Went back to the premier restaurant bar and there were about 6 people in there at 2115,obviously they didn't want the bother of more people coming in for food.
The Guinness draught, and two other pumps out of beer.
Got the impression the place was been run down for closure.
We stayed a year ago and it was like it then.
- 120robertt (10/5): Warm, cosy and excellent staff. - We stayed here recently, on a cold and wet Sunday evening and found the whole experience...excellent.
After paying £4 to park outside for 24 hours (using the code given to is when booking). The check in was quick and easy and we were soon heading to our room, with an additional keycard.
The room was lovely and warm wnd clean. The bed as expected, was comfy and the room had everything for a relaxing stay. My friend is disabled and found zero problems getting around.
We ate at the restaurant downstairs twice. Once for evening meal and again for the serve yourself, all you can eat breakfast.
Both offered great choice along with friendly staff. On the evening it was busy, even in November. So booking in advance is recommended. Unfortunately I had to send back my burger, as it was cold. But it was soon replaced and tasted delicious. Excellent customer service skills by the wonderful Kat. She made sure out night out in the restaurant was wonderful and is a credit to the company.
Breakfast too was delicious and offered so much choice. For the money, I'd recommend eating here for both evening and breakfast.
Would we stay again...absolutely! We came away very impressed.
- Inspiration267336 (10/5): A pleasant stay. - A very friendly and welcoming team I found to be very helpful. Rooms were clean and warm. One of the better premier inns I’ve stayed in throughout my travels nationally. The food (breakfast and evening meal) were very good and the fact that general public come in to eat here was reassuring.
- 760zaims (10/5): Wry good service - Exelent service
Very friendly staff and very helpful
Thanx to LOUISE for sorting the early check-in
High recommended .
- Y3197HNianh (10/5): Customer Satisfaction. - Clean, tidy and comfortable with kind considerate service. Particular thanks and mention to Louise who was amazing. Welcoming, hospitable and a delight.
- craigt285 (2/5): Freezer - Freezing cold room window open on arrival to room heater not seem to work very well. No phone in room to contact reception tried from my phone no reply wasn’t happy in bed trying to get keep warm and late nite to mess about other room. I only wanted a room that was ok to sleep in. Not a freezer lol.
- Storyteller70250 (6/5): Probs wouldn't stay here again - Location is good for exploring the area the hotel itself we found to be what u expect for a premier inn not as bad as some of the reviews I'd seen the room we had was fine only down side is the restaurant didn't serve full menu on the Saturday night due to staff shortage what they where serving was only veggie which was short notice to get booked in elsewhere the local restaurants all fully booked so left us with nowhere to eat locally if this is a on going problem they need a more reliable chef
- T8269QZdh (4/5): Not good - Booked online but mega confusion with staff on arrival regarding our booking.
Told us it was sorted then told us we had over £100 still to pay.
Turns out they messed up big style, and gave part refund for the over charge.
Ate in the attached pub, ordered chicken wings for starter, 15 minute wait for them which, when they arrived they can only be described as more like chicken Bones , they really where Terrible !!!.
Main course gammon arrived 1 hour 10 mins later.very small and burnt.
Staff were arguing and shouting in the kitchen, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere, in an already dull, and soleless pub.
The Wall mounted lamp over the desk in our room had been damaged by a previous guest, and it was unsafe, the lamp was hanging by two exposed wires, resting on its metal body.
We won't be back.
Miserable bar staff in the pub, where they tried to charge us again, for our meals, and upgraded drinks, even though we were still awaiting a refund.
Best person in the whole place was Tracey, very pleasant, and helpful, a star employee !!!.
Still awaiting refund to go into my bank account.
- cumberland29 (4/5): Very disappointing - This is the worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in …and would never book again but do know that they are normally very good !! This one is particularly brand damaging particularly the restaurant which is run down and very uninviting and only open limited hours which are not reflected on the website.
The staff through are very friendly and helpful however
The room was ok but rusty towel rail and old shower curtain was not acceptable
- W4026XYsusanb (10/5): no1 Premmier inn. - Recently visited premier inn Gargrave again. It has to be no1 premier inn for the location and all the freindly staff. Our stay was very pleasent as usual and a great big thanks to Leona and Alex. They were superb and had always got time to have a chat inbetween their hard work. They both need praise for their hard work and their freindliness. I would recommend staying there to anyone. First class. Well done to you all you are a credit to the company keep up the good work. we will definetely be returning in the new year.
- geoffcoughlin (4/5): Awful and best avoided! - Very poor and cancelled our second night. Looks okay when you arrive but bedrooms damp, rust in bathroom, bedding felt damp, accessible room for elderly mother as far away from reception as you could get - not good. Nowhere to sit in communal areas and kicked out of bar/restaurant at 10pm. Restaurant closed for dinner on Sunday when we arrived.
- U3045QFstuartr (2/5): Dreadful. - Absolutely dreadful place-avoid at all costs and book at the local Travel Lodge. Useless, if you’re on business travel as the restaurant is unavailable as you need to “book in advance” is the mantra. The staff default answer is no to any request and have no flexibility whatsoever-said the restaurant was busy but only had a party of four. Had to move rooms as the original room had 2ft of black mould growing up the bathroom door liner. What a complete and utter dump….
- 675kelc (10/5): Probably the best Premier Inn I've stayed in!! - Everything was spot on! The service, the staff (all of them) and the food. 10/10! Well done all! I'd definitely come back again!
- Queeniecook (10/5): Clean, warm ghost town. - The hotel was spotless from front door to room. We had no issues. Plenty of parking that was cheap at £4. I checked in on the app and made our key cards when we arrived which was easy and quick. We can't comment on service as we didn't see a single staff member during our stay. We didn't have any issues with anything, so didn't need to seek any out but they must have been there somewhere. We would stay again.
- katyd992 (10/5): Lovely stay - Lovely enjoyable stay apart from the bed in 403 it was so uncomfortable and squeaky lovely views though lovely breakfast
- xrach1983x (10/5): Super helpful receptionist Louise! - We stayed here while visiting for a wedding. I was on crutches due to a surgery and the Premier Inn Accessible team were not very helpful at all. When we arrived at the hotel Louise was on reception (I think she was covering from another PI property). She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to be as comfortable as possible. She made arrangements for taxis and helped with everything we needed. Without her it would have been a very different stay. Thanks Louise!
- Mrspiglet07 (8/5): Great sleep just shame about dinner! - We booked this hotel because we were seeing a show at the Embassy which is a five minute walk away.
We had been at an event in spalding through the day so originally booked the room with just breakfast added on as we didn’t know what time we would arrive but when we knew we’d be there with enough time for an evening meal I upgraded online to the meal deal and paid the difference.
We arrive at 5pm, the parking at £4 for 24hrs is an absolute bargain. We saw someone to check in, they didn’t ask us about booking for dinner so we went up got changed and came straight back down. There was a sign on the restaurant door stating that it was advisable to book, we went in and were told they couldn’t accommodate us until 7.30 which was when the show at the Embassy started so no good to us.
The restaurant is open to the public as well as guests which I get during off peak season but surely when there’s a show on and a lot of guests could potentially be attending then it should be guests only.
We didn’t find it helpful the only mention of booking was when it was too late.
We ended up in McDonalds before the show.
I have been able to get a refund from them for the two dinners we couldn’t have.
We love Premier Inn and stay at least once a month but we really hope they take feedback on board and mention something on the website about show days being busy and booking advised.
We did have to ask for two more pillows as there was two in the room but no spares as usually and we have two each but these were brought up to the room quickly.
Everything else was spot on, clean, quiet and we had a great sleep with a lazy morning.
Breakfast was hot and replenished quickly.
The restaurant had been trashed a bit by earlier breakfast goers but not the staffs fault.
It is a nice hotel and a great location and we will be back if we see another show there.
Just the evening meal situation took the shine off it this time.
- sonjap953 (10/5): Skegness premier inn - Great hotel with lovely staff , super idea is the borrow a bucket and spade box ,
Rooms warm , clean, and spacious , kettle in room .
Wonderful bed, bedding and shower gels , towels huge and soft . Perfect stay . Meals were excellent .
- 929violetn (6/5): rooms nice restaurant rubbish - The room was nice everything was clean and tidy just not enough cups for a brew or anything to make one
the restaurant next door however we couldn’t have breakfast when we wanted as they were fully booked when half the place was empty literally no furniture nothing just one corner with tables and chairs and a handful of people the server that night was horrible and was rude to us that night when we didt have a reservation and then the breakfast the woman forgot to take our order gave us a load of attitude and was so rude the first morning this was an older woman however half them were not in uniform and had no name badges so I am unable to say who was good and who isnt the second morning was a younger lady and she was lovely got our order let us know when she was seating us what wasn’t in stock instead of telling us as we are ordering so it wasn’t all bad the rooms are nice do need updates in some ways but would stay again just will not be using that restaurant it was also understaffed location was nice
- N84KHrebeccam (10/5): Hotel/restaurant staff 10/10. - We came for a few days away with our children and since we have been here the hotel/restaurant staff have gone above and beyond for us. One in particular I think his name was Dan (looked like a manager) he was very helpful to us and understanding. We will be coming back again and would recommend.
- andrewmilnes7 (10/5): Great Hotel - Great location, very good value for money, very pleasant and helpful staff good value for money really enjoyed our stay
- 902DonnaC (8/5): Accomodation good - catering poor - Had I read all the reviews before booking I would have thought twice. However, I was pleasantly surprised by our room which was spotless, warm and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. The staff were pleasant and friendly.
The catering is a different matter. We had not realised that the pub adjoining was part of Premier Inns and therefore only operated at specific times to cater for staying guests. The pub was huge with many separate alcoves/rooms, but sadly the majority were disused and sad looking, some with no furniture or chairs piled in heaps. A very depressing place to eat. The evening menu was limited, although the hunter's chicken was quite acceptable. Breakfast was very disappointing. Advertised items from the hot menu were missing and the continental offerings were scarce and limited - not at all what we have come to expect from Premier.
We were only staying overnight - had we booked for longer we would have been looking to eat elsewhere in the evenings.
In summary - the price was very cheap, but we expected more after many stays in other Premier Inns.
The pub could be a great asset - set on a main road with ample parking - if it were to be run as a real pub. As it is it lets the brand down.
- Sukie31112 (6/5): Damp Issues - Good position for touring. Damp issues you could smell as soon as you went on corridor. Damp patches in the bedroom. A smelly from the river wasn't pleasant. Not the cleanest we've stayed in.
- J7045JQmarkj (10/5): 5/5 star - Thank you Jason - Clean room & bathroom area. Amazing shower that was hot and high pressure. Tea & coffee stocked and a quick kettle.
Staff are lovely. I was served by Jason who has gone above and beyond for me, helping me out with the local area and planning my business trip woth advice on how to get to where I am going.
- K6132CFbrianh (4/5): This hotel needs to up its game, given a recent opening in town by a certain rival chain - We had a number of issues during our stay, ranging from a major problem to minor niggles:
One morning the whole hotel, except the restaurant, had no hot or cold water. A rare event, no doubt, but perhaps they should have more redundancy?
The toilet cistern in the room was very slow to fill.
The card reader by the door sometimes needed several tries before it detected the card and allowed the lights to come on.
The windows in the room were dirty, spoiling the sea view; however, this may be down to the hotel being so close to the sea that they don't stay clean for long.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was only on intermittently - at one time the mirror was completely steamed up, but the extractor wasn't on.
There was only one hand towel in the room.
There was no decaff coffee supplied in the room, although it was available from a help-yourself point by the reception.
There was missing cutlery at the breakfast table - I had to raid other tables for knives, forks & napkin.
On the plus side: The staff were helpful and polite.
The bed was comfy and we slept well. The hotel was quiet, even on a Saturday night. The room was clean.
- josM8087RX (2/5): Disappointed - We have been going to Skipton Gargrave for many years and we're surprised to see such a decline. The room was tired, with a broken curtain rail, mould patches on the wall, heating system that didn't give any heat, rusty towel rack in the bathroom, broken and dislodged grill for the room fan. We ordered a cooked breakfast and were surprised to see most of the furniture missing from the pub next door, only enough out for Premier Inn guests. The cooked breakfast option was fine but the continental breakfast offering was scant, with many items not available or put out. Will look elsewhere for accommodation next time we are in the area. A hotel in decline, in need of a complete overhaul. I wouldn't recommend it.
- 450richr (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS! - We booked 4 rooms for a 4 night stopover..
Cost us over £1800+ including meal deals.
Have used Premier inn many times over the years and have always found the brand to be very consistent in providing a good standard of both rooms, facilities & food…
I personally have used PI both for leisure & business over many years and can honestly say this is the most sub standard establishment I have ever used
What’s gone wrong at Gargrave, the place is an absolute shambles, the quality of service is appalling, the place needs a good shake up and full refurbishment.
It appears the food service is very hit & miss, the bar service was minimal,
The pub/bar area is half empty with all furnishings removed, it now resembles something better suited to a 3rd world country, the exterior and car park have definitely seen better days.
Senior management from Premier Inn need to visit this place and experience for themselves how bad it is..
Food has been limited, on night 1 & 2, sorry no chicken, prawns, etc, etc..
We paid a supplement for a mixed grill, then when we questioned about the lack of chicken, were advised, sorry yeah we don’t have any chicken, no offer of a refund on the supplement though..
On our 3rd night, no chef so no food, we walked into the local village Fish & Chip shop.. luckily we are fit enough to do so..
Room servicing was non existent, apparently you have to request your room to be serviced for stays of more than one night, which we did… on return the only thing that had been done was one of the bins had been emptied and the tea bags restocked, we had one towel exchanged, but the bed had not been changed, or bathroom cleaned.
The bathroom is covered in mould, the shower cubicle resembled a Petri dish with mouldy walls and every corner was black and gungey.
Come on Premier Inn get your act together and get this place sorted.
Premier Inn HQ will be hearing from me in the near future…
- alextF8016ES (10/5): Great stay we will be back in March 2026. - Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The place itself was very clean and comfortable and they said if we changed our mind and wanted to use the hotel for breakfast they will fit us in.
- E5183ZWmarks (2/5): Faulty tower comes to mind ... - Car park flooded on arrival. No signs up .After 20 mins of being there all electrics went off in hotel and bar .Sat inside bar area with just emergency lights on for around 1hour .no offer of a free drink or sorry .it felt like faulty towers .
- Freedom55997623330 (10/5): great few days away at Skegness premier inn. - hotel and room were very clean and tidy .staff all good and polite. Food was great as were the food. All staff polite and helpful.
- bensX3599XC (2/5): Make sure you are a customer of the hotel! - We turned up at 0640 on a Saturday and noticed they opened at 0700. Waiting at the front door, we could see staff waiting by the bar and signaled asking if they could let us wait inside as it was cold and very wet outdoor. Their reaction to us knocking at the door was to shake their head and walk off.
At 0700, they opened the door and asked abruptly if we were guests of the hotel, we answered no. To this, we were bluntly told we couldn't eat there with no chance of persuasion otherwise.
Although we didn't eat here, I wouldn't recommend it.
- rach77 (2/5): Gone down hill - This hotel used to be nice but it’s gone really down hill. Black mold in bedroom and bathroom. Can’t open windows. Complained but nothing done. No chef so no food.
- alexathodgeheg (4/5): In dire need of refurbishment - One of the worst Premier Inns I have used. The site is in dire need of refurbishment.
Rooms: Based on our room (17) there are a lot of damp problems. This is probably down to the lack of forced air ventilation in the bathrooms. Although there are ventilation grilles, there is no airflow and given this is usually a shared thing down entire corridors, it's not something that is going to be unique to our room. The air con works as much as these usually do, but the state of the ceiling tiles in our room suggested that the condensate drain isn't actually connected to anything, which means that any success the aircon has in drying the air is completely negated by not getting rid of the water properly. Every day on our return in the evening, the bathroom mirror was still fogged from that mornings showers. Windows are not openable (because there is aircon) so no way of even ventilating condensation that way. Other than the dampness, the room seemed clean enough, but not spotless.
Beds: As you would expect from a PI, the bed was extremely comfortable.
Staff: We had no problems with the staff we had dealings with, and did not witness anyone else having obvious problems (including another couple being happily refunded for their meal deals as we checked out - more on the food later).
Food/Drink: The Anchor Inn is a shadow of what it obviously used to be. Basically, do not rely on food here, and don't expect any atmosphere if you are in drinking. When visiting a pub/restaurant on a Saturday night, and there is just you and one other couple in the bar, and food service obviously long since closed, you know you are in somewhere that isn't worth visiting - not to mention calling time at about 8.45pm. The adjacent garden centre doesn't have a cafe. but for evening meals and drinking there are far, far better options in the town - the Old Swan & Mason's Arms pubs are about 0.6mile walks, and there is an exceedingly good Indian - The Bolywood Cottage - about 0.5mile walk away. Would recommend any of these way above the onsite offering.
Car Park: Plentiful parking, with the restaurant being effectively closed the car park now seems generously sized for the hotel alone.
Value: Not good. PI prices seem to have gone up a lot recently, and quite honestly for the quality of the offering here, the prices charged are well above what would be reasonable.
Conclusion: Would not stay here again, not unless there is a lot of investment in refurbishing the hotel.
- skyguys (10/5): First class service - Stayed at this hotel a few times now and never had a problem Dan the manager is a star and nothing is ever a problem definitely stay again
- knittingiscool (4/5): Needs a refresh and staff training - This particular premier inn is pretty tired. No cooked breakfast was available. Soap dispenser didn't work. Room was cold. Night manager refused to give 2 keys because he had 'couples' arriving?! (we were a party of 2!) He also refused to give me more teabags (the receptacle at reception was empty) until I'd used the ones in the room.
Definitely Not great or worth the money.
- Connector42492183 (8/5): Break, - Friendly staff bare one bloke we stayed in a primer room i asked for a bottle of water which I never got not very pleasant bloke
- I2074MClynnb (4/5): More training of booking team required - On making the booking was assured room had a ‘walk in shower’ on arrival found that all rooms had a high sided bath with a fixed shower into it so anybody with mobility issues made the shower inaccessible.
- Britishdog73 (8/5): Premier inn Skegness - Good value for money, they should scrap a charge if you want to check in early. Bathroom wasn't the best as found a pubeic hair in the bath ? Pillows anit that comfy. But apart from that highly recommended.
- paulbM116AF (4/5): Not impressed at all. - This was a disaster. Dirty carpets, children's sweets found on the floor from previous occupants. Furniture falling apart. The beds were uncomfortable. There was no water with the kettle & facilities, so tried to buy some from the dispensing machine, but this was not working. Unable to get a hot drink from the restaurant at 9.15pm. Very shabby decor throughout, and strong smell of cooking fat in restaurant. Breakfast OK. Staff not in reception when needed.
- Leann1975 (4/5): One of the worst premier inns I have stayed in - Scruffy room, Terrible ventilation the windows can not be opened. The air conditioning didn’t work. The staff were the best thing about this hotel.
- christabelcn (10/5): Lovely - Lovely stay
Nice staff
Rooms need more ventilation
Tips is bring your own shower gel and soap
Food is lovely
KFC being across the building is not convenient
- Moppee (10/5): This is a little gem - Friendly staff. Rooms very clean and as is normal for Premier Inn beds were sooo comfy. We hadn't booked breakfast when we booked but after speaking to reception they said it was best to book. When we came down in the morning you could see how popular breakfast was. It was busy but we got our table and the food was fantastic. It was freshly cooked and hot, not swimming in grease. We mentioned to one of the staff that this was the best breakfast we'd had in a Premier inn (and we've stayed in a few) and he said the chef was called Steve. If you're coming to Skegness then stay at the Premier Inn, well worth the money. Walk ins are accomidated for. This is a little gem.
- U5538CRstevenm (6/5): Thanks twice - No shower gel in bathroom had to ask for clean towels for the second day no air-conditioning in basic room it was 26 to 28° in the room had a fan they gave was in the room but didn’t really make much difference. You could open the window but the thing is you had to keep the curtains closed if you was naked because people can see through door handle inside the shower been put on wrong round. I say said it’s not a sport handle they’re not
it’s just a handle for the shower glass door is not a support handle. good facilities around Asda express petrol garage McDonald’s a restaurant pub
- gailgR4638ID (2/5): Enter at your own RISK - Awful stay from start to finish . We booked on line at the hotel, took an hour to do, as they are in a dead spot for Wi-Fi , (the receptionist told us that). First accessible room was at the front, across the room from the brewers Fayre , no air con ,so we had to have the window open, noisy with people and traffic.
Second accessible room after complaining, had air con, small fridge, coffee machine (no de caff coffee or tea)same as the other room it had a open wardrobe and shelves, so always looked messy
We were not told we had to ask for housekeeping, towels or toilet rolls . Which my husband (and carer ) had to keep asking for, one time the receptionist said “she had none left and would have to go to the supermarket “
All meals were severed at the Brewers Fayre across the road , which dirty(wet wipe was so dirty, when we used it on a very sticky table) drinks ordered, we drank and left. Carpets filthy, lights did not work in the toilets, when we asked staff, the reply was “I keep telling them about that. I would not advise anyone to go to this hotel or pub .
- C2997TVphild (8/5): Very nice stay. - Very nice stay at sittingBourne premier inn, just find when I use the towels after a shower I get bits of fluff stuck on parts of my body.
- 196AlanB196 (6/5): Nothing good to say. - It was a hot weekend, no air conditioning and the shower run hot & cold so was difficult to shower under. Work was being carried out in public areas, so all in all, not very satisfactory & nothing good to say.
- E2630NIphilg (8/5): Good all round stay - Good all round experience the night staff member in particular was superb very friendly and professional in terms of greeting upon arrival and cheerful whenever we returned from visiting friend
- Guide43614346480 (4/5): Disappointing Early Departure at Premier Inn Sittingbourne - My recent overnight stay at the Premier Inn Sittingbourne in early May was unfortunately marred by an unwelcome eagerness to usher guests out. While the room itself was a good size and clean, the overall experience felt rushed and intrusive.
I had opted to pay an additional £15 for an earlier check-in, allowing me into the room an hour and a half before the standard time. This seemed to imply a degree of flexibility, yet the following morning told a different story. Despite check-out being at a reasonable midday, I was disturbed twice by housekeeping staff knocking loudly on my door in the early morning. The second instance was particularly disruptive, as they let themselves into the room without waiting for a response.
This aggressive approach to turning over rooms so far in advance of the official check-out time created a feeling of being pushed out. It was a far from relaxing experience and left me feeling like the hotel was more concerned with efficiency than guest comfort. For a hotel stay, particularly one where an early check-in was paid for, this kind of pressure to depart is simply unacceptable.
- bandjclifford (8/5): Spartan seems to be the aim of Premier Inns these days. - The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean with a comfortable mattress, but oh so spartan! One glass cup per person had to serve as a tea or coffee cup as well as a mouth rinsing vessel. Only one hand towel and one bath towel for a two person booking. No toiletries save soap nailed to the wall of the bathroom. On the plus side, coffee and tea bags were readily available from reception.
- soniagB6835QO (10/5): Wow, Wow, Wow. Thank you to the great staff team... - Not sure where to start, our stay was amazing from start to finish. The receptionist (Christine) was amazing with a big smile on her face from the time we walked through the doors, and her customer service was over and beyond her job description, where she ensured that we was happy and checked in without any disruptions. Even when we could not work the heating in our room, she personally came up and sorted this out. After checking in my sister and I actually spoke about how she was and said, 'it is people like her that are best at welcoming guest, as it starts your break off on a positive note'. We also had the pleasure of meeting a manager (Emma) who was also amazing, and ensured that when we checked out, it was without a hitch, so we was able to catch our train on time (as it was really hard to book a taxi), but she was fantastic and we made it to the train station with time to spare.
The room was comfortable, clean and we slept really well. Lovely peaceful relaxing hotel, and we will definitely be back... The next time we will book the breakfast.
Thank you so all the staff that we met throughout our time as they all seemed friendly and professional.
- C7235GQsama (10/5): Serene environment - Alison was immensely helpful. - The room was clean and tidy. I found the bed quite neat as well and I should add that the environment was serene and conducive for my meeting. Staff were kind and polite. Alison in particular was absolutely helpful in checking me in and ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you very much Alison for all your help. See you again next time.
- Guide36271375969 (10/5): Excellent stay in a well situated hotel. Food great - Excellent stay in a well situated hotel. Food great had the meal deal. Fish and chips and full English breakfast in morning. Clean and comfortable hotel. Bed very comfortable and a great nights sleep. Very easy and spacious car park. Security good. Very friendly staff willing to help.
- kevskilling (6/5): Rude wake up call - I’m a HGV driver and unfortunately my vehicle had broken down and couldn’t be fixed. My vehicle eventually got recovered into a safe place at 10pm which meant I needed a hotel. I booked the Premier Inn in Sittingbourne last minute and checked in at 11pm. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and let me borrow a plug so I could charge my mobile phone. After grabbing a late meal I eventually got to bed at midnight and had started work at 5:30am that day so a comfy bed was very much needed. I had a lovely sleep until I was rudely awakened by a member of staff letting themselves into my room at 8am without even knocking on the door. When I spoke to the members of staff at the front desk about this, they had told me that someone had handed my room key in the drop box so they thought I’d checked out. This obviously was a lie as of course I had the room key in my hand. Unacceptable reason given in my opinion and a decent nights sleep cut short.
- Scenic00263935376 (10/5): Great experience - Really nice staff! Alison is definitely the best though.
Bed is comfortable, heating works, it's not that noisy as an area. Cooked breakfast is good. Not a big fan of the food options but that's not completely relevant to the hotel.
No complaints really.
- Global01238352330 (4/5): Verry poor - The room was tierd with lights that didnt work the heating was inaficiant seen as it was -3 the room was freezing most of the time i couldnt raise my concerns as there was never any staff around. The bathroom wall had blood staims on it and was not the cleanest the room was overall poor and my stay was not comfortable atall would not return to this hotel.
- sarapX3847HI (4/5): Friendly helpful staff but room dirty - Receptionists very friendly and helpful, but they had to resolve issues, which they did no problem and promptly ; cannot fault them, and it was Christmas!
One issue I did not report at time as noted late at night when returned to room, it was dirty bathroom floor round wdges, the mugs were not clean, and the bottle
Opener attached to unit was covered in dust, too much to just be one day’s worth. Given this did not feel
Comfortable walking on carpet bare feet. For this I would not return to sittingbourne premier inn. I have stayed in premier inn Elsewhere and not had these issues.
Also, relationship between PI and the brewers Fayre next door used for breakfasts clearly not the best with comms between the 2 poor.
