Guest Reviews
- Christina (10/5): - Nice hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and tasty breakfast.
- Trudalicious (10/5): Will be back! - First time at this PI. Great location for town, shops, train station, bowling and takeaway/restaurants. Clean rooms and bathroom. Nice food, value for money. Friendly staff. Ideal for visiting friends and family. Slight noise above me (kids or heavy footing but nothing major to put me off). On arrival got switched/upgrade room as the original was beside a boiler - much appreciated!!
- Cathasmum (10/5): Nice stay clean hotel - Lovely new hotel so very clean. Kelly on reception gave us a lovely warm welcome, we didn’t eat dinner there but breakfast was nice and all you can eat. For once there was a decent amount of tea and coffee and milk in the room.
The only downside is parking in the multi story and working out what you have to pay for and that you have to remember to
Pay again after 9am. Not really premier inns fault though.
- davidmY8407YB (2/5): Parking concerns - Beware of the parking, we got a ticket both nights despite using the hotel machine the first night. Staff don't appto understand how the system works and clearly, with 3 tickets, neither do we :(
- leeburrows1000 (10/5): Team superb - Good stay as always but special call out for Kelly. The multi-story car park you use opposite has a ridiculously difficult overnight charging system. Kellys help navigating this likely meant we didn't get excess charges - thank you. Great breakfast, quiet hotel and excellent bed !
- maggs311 (6/5): Frustrating. - Nice room but it but it would be good if the size of the bedding was suited to the size of the bed. The bottom sheet was too narrow to tuck in properly and the duvet was far too small. There was so much of the menu that was off on one evening that the choice was very limited and no pancakes on the Sunday morning! For a 3 night stay there is nowhere for clothes bar a few hangers, so had to rely on my suitcase to store stuff. There is plenty of room for a cupboard or two.
- SarahBGranada (10/5): Excellent hotel in Wokingham - Excellent hotel in a great location for Wokingham town centre, comfortable and clean and great buffet breakfast. Staff are friendly, helful and professional. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment and would happily stay here again.
- G4599DZtimothyc (4/5): Not a good sleep when needed - This is my second stay at this Premier Inn but unfortunately not a good one. I was in Wokingham for business checked in. Then had to work. Got back late at around 1am ready to get some sleep but was then woken by a boiler or extractor fan coming on at 5am then again every 10/15minute intervals so didn’t sleep from then. Very disappointed and tired when had to drive back to Cornwall the next day. I won’t be booking there for business again.
Had breakfast wasn’t much cooked breakfast left at 9.30am took a while to be replenished. Coffee machine wasn’t working. All round £100 definitely wasted on a poor stay.
- 167sd (8/5): Nice hotel - Great place, nice new hotel. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Perfect blackout curtains!
Parking is a bit tricky as not on site.
- cbellagray (10/5): Excellent customer service for families - We stayed at the Premier Inn Wokingham with our 4 and 6 year old for an extended period of three weeks over the summer due to building works in our house. The customer service we received from Georgios, Saha, Christos and the team was truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay as straightforward and comfortable as possible. We cannot thank them enough for how well they looked after us and warmly recommend Premier Inn Wokingham to families looking for a friendly and cost effective hotel.
- 857carolej (10/5): Fab place to stay - Lovely central hotel.very reasonable. Great breakfast.lovely rooms.so clean.
Can't wait to come here again.thoroughly recommend
- 591kathyw (10/5): Great Stay - Great location, close to railway station and centre of town. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable and very clean rooms
- O8229ZKandyc (10/5): Highly recommended Central Wokingham hotel - We've stayed here before, it's in a great central location, this time, we were visiting family who stayed in the hotel & joined them for Sunday's buffet breakfast. There were 16 of us including children & Georgios, the hotel manager & his staff couldn't have been more helpful, it was quite a busy time in the restaurant, but they gave us more tables as they became available. The buffet breakfast is the best value in town, especially as children eat free with adults. There's a good choice of hot & cold food & drinks, etc. I asked chef to do some poached eggs for me, they were perfect. Thanks to Georgios & the staff for their hospitality, you do a good job!
- dawnc985 (10/5): Wedding weekend - Staff and hotel are lovely, particularly appreciated the black out curtains. Breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful .
Not enough milk pots in room and coffee was vile.Apart from that enjoyed my stay.
- shefjules (10/5): Excellent place to stay - I have stayed in a number of Premier Inns as the standard is reliable, but Wokingham is one of the best I have visited. It is very well run. All the staff go out of their way to help in any way they can.
- Mara (10/5): - Loots of showing. It was like stepping into the past of older England, I fell in love with this town. Everyone encountered was friendly and helpful. The staff was wonderful!
If you just need a getaway, this could be you haven. :)
- cmiller138 (10/5): A natural choice - Everything as it should be for budget hotel and definitely a big improvement on a competitor with the initials TL! Very comfy bed and everything else was just fine. WiFi was unsurprisingly not that great, due to the upgrade available but served my needs.
- L6713YSpaulg (10/5): Nothing too much trouble - A really enjoyable stay. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. The breakfast was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel.
- Sunshine42455758422 (10/5): One of the best Premier inn s - Fantastic place to stay, eat Breakfast. All staff members to the extra mile for the guests. Location is great for the train station and bus service and a taxi never far away. Highly recommended
- L6446PZstevel (2/5): Lack of customer service and security - We checked into this hotel in September as we was going to a show at the towns theatre. We was met by young lady with absolutely zero customer service skills. After being grunted at and thrust our door card we made our way to our room (another customer actually commented on her lack of customer service!) When we returned to our room after the show we was unable to gain access so my wife went to reception to resolve, same lady, same grunt another card thrust into her hands and we eventually gained access. As we was relaxing with a glass of wine our bedroom door opened and another guest appeared and very apologetically shut the door and made his escape. We then went back to reception to address the situation. When I asked to speak to the manager, no one would accept responsibility as manager, the same surly receptionist handed us a card and said contact them they'll refund you! After some backwards and forwards email they did refund me, which i do appreciate, but imagine if we wasn't in the room, imagine if it had been a lone female. I dont feel that they're response dealt with the seriousness of the complaint adequately and this doesn't include the poor decor and the stains in the toilet!! Having stayed at other Premier inns which have been fine please avoid this one.
- Eion (8/5): - Good value
- teresaj315 (10/5): Excellent staff and lovely hotel - Clean hotel and very friendly staff esp Sahar on reception.
Room as equipped to what we needed and was perfect for our stay
- Grasmi909 (8/5): Good basic hotel, reasonably priced - This is a very handy hotel well situated at the edge of the Town Centre. Shops and restaurants are close by as is the station.
The hotel itself is fairly basic and the restaurant looks good although we only had breakfast there.
Our only complaint is that the tv didn’t work properly and was unwatchable.
