Guest Reviews
- conors627 (10/5): Food was brilliant - Great food the chef was friendly and all the food was hot and tasty!
Hotel is very nice and tidy and the restaurant is clean.
- freddannn (6/5): Serviceminded staff and great breakfast. - Good location and staff was very good, full service. The room was not quite what we hoped for, quite moist/moldy unfortunately... we asked for new room but the hotel was fully booked. Breakfast was good, kids happy. We got to go very early one day and the fixed muffin and juice/coffe.
- annabN9519EB (8/5): Would give full stars of not for the younger girls attitudes and lack of manners - I just want to say that there are some of those you meet who cater for your needs in this business whom you love and those whom leave a disappointment 😞 The younger females within the restaurant were rude and uncaring natured and I believe need better training for thier mannerisms ect,But that's my only complaint as this hotel is great otherwise,The managers are fantastic and very business like,But this one woman sisay she was amazing and made me feel special shes so loving and kind and one of the hardest workers thier that made my stay that extra special, I hope shes given a promotion she deserves it and I would say this hotel would not be so great a stay without her.
- 842nadeems (2/5): Please be extremely cautious before becoming this hotel or any other Premier Inn - In my personal experience, I would strongly advise not staying at this Premier Inn under any circumstances. During my visit, 8 cars — including mine — were smashed in on the same night in the car park right beside the hotel. When I spoke to the manager, I was told this has happened before, which means this is a recurring and known problem.
Despite knowing this, the hotel offers no warnings, no visible security, and no clear signage explaining that the car park is operated by a third party. Guests are left believing the parking is part of the hotel — until something goes wrong.
What shocked me even more was the hotel’s response. There was no help, no empathy, and no sense of responsibility whatsoever. Premier Inn immediately distanced themselves and left guests to deal with the damage entirely on their own.
Based on how this incident was handled, and the fact that the hotel seems aware of ongoing break-ins, I personally would not stay at this location again — and I will be extremely cautious about using any Premier Inn in the future. If something happens to you or your vehicle, in my experience, you will receive no support at all.
For your own safety, money, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
- pete1956229 (10/5): Comfortable stay in Clapham. - The room was clean, comfortable and incredibly quiet. Staff were ultra helpful, friendly and welcoming. It's the second time I have stayed here for business purposes and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Food was great.
- beverleyd832 (10/5): Happy customer - This hotel surprised me. The staff were so welcoming and efficient. The young man at the desk at check in very quick. The room was massive, clean and cosy. The breakfast this morning was delicious with so much to choose from. The cost of room and breakfast about £75 ish which was amazing. I will defo get a premier inn again 😊
- Holly_a_jones (10/5): Highly recommend - My mum and I were booked to go to the o2 and stayed at this hotel which was the perfect distance from the o2. The hotel was very clean as well as the room. The staff were really friendly and sweet who helped us with all questions. Overall it was a really lovely stay and the breakfast was really lovely which made it well worth it.
- Caesar63 (4/5): Tired corridors and room desperately in need of refurbishment! - I regularly stay in Premier Inn hotels for business and have used dozens over the last couple of decades (see other reviews).
They can generally be relied upon to be clean, quiet and friendly, all delivered at a reasonable price.
Canning Town, unfortunately, is one of the exceptions in this chain.
The reception area appeared smart, modern as usual. But the corridors were in a poor state of repair. One of the two lifts near my room was not working with the surround and ceiling above removed - wires hanging out of the ceiling. It appeared that this had been the case for some time rather than a recent occurrence.
Once in the room, the heating kept cutting out, the sink plug had some horrible looking detritus clogging it and there was mould around the shower door and screen.
I cannot review the restaurant as, having seen the state of the room, I chose to grab something from the local Sainsburys rather than chance eating in the hotel. Unfortunately there were very few options for eating in the local area.
Would not stay in this hotel again.
- U4235UDmonikab (10/5): Staff Smriti very friendly. - The staff Smriti was really very friendly. Hard working. Helped us with whatever we needed. She does an excellent job. She is an asset to this hotel.
- Metropolitan_Man (8/5): Overall good. But hotel has an odd layout - Overall 4/5. Most people know what to expect from a Premier Inn. Location is 10 minutes walk from Chiswick High Street and is ideal if driving. Hotel layout is odd, building is back to front. The reception desk is 2 floors up. Its a bit of a maze of corridors to get in and dosent have that welcoming feeling most hotels have. Everything else is functional and room is a good size.
- O5602ZGgeorgew (2/5): Smokey smelly room and no hot water - Avoid!!!
We should have been given a clean room that didn't smell of smoke, particularly as we had our two young children with us. Also, hot water for showers would have been nice.
- Tour532966 (10/5): Great stay! - We stayed at this hotel for a couple of weeks and had a fantastic experience. The property was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful.
A special thank-you to Sisay in the restaurant—she was wonderful and took great care of us every day. Warm, attentive, and professional, she remembered our preferences and always made us feel welcome. We also appreciated the excellent housekeeping; Florentine kept our room spotless and made us feel right at home.
Overall, outstanding service and a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!
- 984jon (10/5): Quiet and comfortable stay at a good price. - Good value for money. Room was very quiet despite being next to a busy roundabout and major roads. Easy to walk to Chiswick high street where there are plenty of places to eat and an assortment of other shops including Tesco express and Sainsbury's.
- LulaC369 (6/5): Great Location for O2 - If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a gig at the O2, this is a great location. We've stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so.
Sadly though, if you value sleep you're not likely to get any if you're closer to the tracks. I've been find before but we must have been on a different side of the hotel. This time I was woken up every hour or so by trains going past. Staff were friendly as always and helped us when we were given an accessible room. I don't know why but it's the third time in a row at a Premier Inn We've been given an accessible room when we don't need one, and we just don't like them.
- 249callumc (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - Friendly staff, quiet room. Comfortable stay. Good breakfast. Only minus is shower curtain doesn't fit properly so floor gets wet in bathroom.
- gina19822018 (10/5): Excellent stay, lovely staff and room was great. - Lovely hotel, right next to the tube and bus station so easy access into London. Staff are all friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast in the morning was also amazing, fresh and even my friend egg still had a runny yellow, not like rubber like some places I've stayed after being under the lights for too long. Great choice of continental too. Room was clean and tidy and smelt clean. Definitely stay again in the future.
- Explorer18089334874 (10/5): Great Hotel & Great Location For The O2 - Great location for going to the O2 or anywhere around the Greenwich area. Underground station & bus station was within a short walking distance from the hotel. Atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming, friendly & relaxing. Cleanliness of reception/restaurant/bar/ lift areas were very clean too.
Staff were very friendly & welcoming at breakfast time.
They asked about any allergies & explained where the breakfast selections were:
(Drinks, cereals, fruits, pastries, & hot food of full English -sausages bacon, beans, fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns etc.)
Noise level at the hotel, was very low, as couldn’t hear any of the traffic from outside of the hotel & from inside of my room.
Rooms were spacious, pleasant & clean. Beds were extremely comfortable 10/10 (including pillows)
Facilities in the premier plus rooms were good (arm chair & foot stool, mini fridge with 2X bottles of water, coffee machine with 4 pods & a tea selection of tea sachets ( Earl grey/ mint)
Snacks could have been slightly better of a small packet of biscuits (short bread/cookie) or crisps. ( catering for allergies- such as gluten free)
Value for money, slightly overpriced for 1 night’s stay, which I booked months in advance.
( booked in March to stay in November) I did also include extras, of early check in & breakfast. I arrived at the hotel around 12:30 & early check in started from 11am, my room was also ready when I arrived.
Overall I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel & would definitely recommend it.
- robertfR1254YK (8/5): 2 tips to success - Standard P Inn set in a good location for leafy middle class area. Abundance of shops pubs restaurants and transport links all within a 10-15 min walk. Tip 1 - ample car parking spaces if needed. Tip 2 - bus 533 around the corner takes less than 10 minutes to Hammersmith tube unlike bus 190 which was recommended by reception as this bus take 45 mins from the same stop.
- Lamarina26 (8/5): good. basic & worth the money - basic room, comfy bed & quite despite busy road outside. Allergy options at breakfast, just need to ask for Free From menu.
- worrapanp2022 (8/5): Good Location but need to support for daily water. - Good Location, Breakfast is fine. Only one point that I asked to put drinking water for my third night, but no one put it there. As they have less staff, so hard to follow up. Also I went to event and pay a lots during my stay
- andrewtA6882HL (6/5): Not as good as last time. - Not as good as my last visit. I had issues with the shower and basin soap dispenser. Trains were rumbling past except for 3 hours overnight disturbing my sleep. If your are not the soundest of sleepers don't accept a room next to the railway.
- chrissK8735IG (2/5): BEWARE: Next to busy train tracks. Significant noise at night - Next to train tracks. Busy train tracks , jubilee line going past every 2 minutes at night. Room was shaking and grinding whenever the train went past. Could not sleep.
- yvettew325 (10/5): Great staff - I have a 7 night stay here for work, the staff here are great, they really want to make sure you have a wonderful stay, the bar man is so lovely and helpful and is also in the restaurant, the lady Nandini who was in the restaurant was excellent. The whole front of house staff are a credit to your company.
- patriciahX1217PP (10/5): Comfortable and clean, with helpful staff - Easy check in, comfortable beds, room ambience just right. Really nice stay. The staff were kind enough to lend us a phone charger because I had forgotten to bring one. Altogether a lovely stay.
- lindawZ3088YI (10/5): Would recommend a stay here - We stayed in Canning Town Premier Inn as we were attending a concert at the O2 Arena. Very easy to get to by London Underground. The hotel was very comfortable, food there was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly. No complaints from us, we will be back.
- 554nch (6/5): Super Soundproofed rooms left me pleasantly surprised - Firstly be advised that unless you're driving this hotel is isolated if arriving in non day-light hours. I am 6ft2 tall and 6ft 2 wide male and can look after myself but I did not feel safe coming back late evening.
That being said you are near Hammersmith and Turnham Green and Uber's are a plenty.
From the outside the hotel looked terrible and I thought it would be so noisy with the corridor to the M4 on it's doorstep. It's fine for traffic noise.
The rooms were tired. My toilet seat had a dodgy brown/orange stain on it and my friends room had a puddle on the floor on check in!
Staff were either excellent or poor.
Would I stay again? Depends on where I wanted to be and the cost.
Buses leave every 15 minutes to and from Hammersmith. Service 533 is quicker and the 190 goes via Chiswick High Road.
In summary if in West London, or it's cheap great.
If you're on your own or coming back late evening consider options.
Breakfast was delicious though
- 433neile (10/5): Great stay for reasonable cost! - Loved the location perfect for what we wanted short run to London and underground services. Quiet despite being busy outside. Food was good rooms were good can't fault it will visit again
- superspurs2016 (10/5): Better than the Football - First time staying at Canning Town, very handy hotel to London City Airport. Staff were very friendly and courteous throughout out our two night stay. Beds very comfortable and room spacious and clean. Will be back!
- bhuvana32 (10/5): Ideal stay for a few days in London - Great stay! Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, warm and spotless rooms, and reliable Wi-Fi. Would definitely return!
- 411christophert (10/5): Perfect for City Break - 3 night stay at this lovely hotel. Choose it as close to tube & DLR.
Got checked in slightly early so could get into London quick. Takes about 25 mins.
Room typical Premier Inn with everything we needed. Shower very nice.
Breakfast was very nice. You can order poached eggs. Staff work hard to keep items stocked & tables cleared.
Only slight issue was facing rail tracks we could hear early morning trains.
Would definitely stay here again when visiting London.
- pOtter1_11 (10/5): The staff made it! - Such a good place to stay. Easy to get to from Waterloo and great for days out easy to get everywhere! Really clean, lovely breakfast, we had an evening meal there and thoroughly enjoyed it. What really makes it is the staff, receptionists are just lovely, friendly professional and so happy to help. Chef even came and said hello and checked our dinner was ok which was really nice. Definitely will stay again when in London.
- deborahjU1520QE (2/5): Unwelcome object in my bed - I found someone's false eyelashes in my
bed. It did make me doubt the cleanliness of the hotel and won't eat there. Reception were helpful but I have not had any feedback from my complaint
- janebD5532MA (10/5): Great hotel - Fantastic Premier Inn ideal for the O2 and Stratford Westfield Shopping Centre. Just a 2 minute walk from the Underground. Very clean and huge rooms with a nice bathroom. Breakfast very nice. Staff friendly. Great value for money.
- oliverr872 (10/5): Great value and location - Great experience. Very good value for a family room. Excellent location for a wedding we were attending at Chiswick House. Very comfy beds, clean room, friendly welcome. Very accessible car park.
- Wander661300 (10/5): I would easily recommend Chiswick Premier Inn for their great service, fast check-in process n extended checkout offered - I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, fast check-in process, great staff especially Tim at the reception n quiet nights daily.
- L675NZjennig (10/5): Good service from Harry and Abdul. We stay here a lot while working I Olympia. Parking plentiful and safe. - Great service from Harry and Abdul. Good safe parking. Good place to stay when working at Olympia. Plenty to do with a 10min walk.
- timg483 (10/5): Good value hotel if visiting o2 - Decent value hotel was clean and comfortable.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times.
One stop north bound on the Jubilee line from the o2 so very convenient if you are seeing a concert as we did.
A 3 minute walk from Canning Town tube station to hotel.
Would use again.
- DannyR198 (2/5): Guide Dog Access Refusal - Premier Inn Chiswick was the usual high standard I on,y had one problem.
The receptionist who booked me in had no idea on the law regarding Guide Dogs he had to check with his manager that we were allowed to book in this was bad enough but when we came down to dinner 30 min later her refused me entry to the dining room saying no dogs as they were serving food.
I was told the guide dog had to stay in the room I refused and he did serve me but I felt that we were nit welcome.
Premier Inn have a responsibility to train all their staff on the law and rukes regarding guide dogs.
I will nit return to Chiswick Premier Inn but have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years so I know this was an isolated case but still unacceptable.
- dexter41 (10/5): A great team & a convenient location - Having stayed in over 250 premier inn's last year alone we are fussy on which ones are worth a repeat visit!
The staff here were some of the most professional & helpful we have ever come across in a premier inn. From the front of house to the chef! They all went above & beyond to ensure my team had everything we needed.
The rooms were so quiet, we all agreed no noise from above on the lower floors.
There is a lift which is always a bonus now!
The hotel is in a great location 20 minute walk to battersea power station.
We are all drivers and although it has no carpark, we all booked parking with a 10 minute walk on just park. On saturday & sunday its free in the neighbouring residential streets.
- Matthew (10/5): - Very comfortable place to stay. Nice staff. Location could be better.
- Venture652705 (8/5): Would definitely stay again - The location was very central with a bus stop right outside the hotel. It was easy to get to the closest tube station, but the bus route went straight in to London. The atmosphere was nice, although we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel itself.
There are two grocery stores right next door, for any snacks or drinks.
Iram, one of the ladies at the front desk was a pleasure. As soon as we entered, she was on her game to provide the best service as possible. It was a pleasure seeing her in the mornings on our way out, asking how our trip was going and offering advice on travel and local eats.
- Q877PFdanielb (10/5): Good value for money. Great staff. - Friendly staff. Good welcome. Good service at dinner. Very attentive.
Bedroom comfortable.
Great location to travel from LCY early in the morning.
Good value for money for the location.
- trineh512 (10/5): Nice stay - It was good there . Nice beds , clean room and nice breakfast , good service .
Very helpful staff and also a nice selection of vegan food
- M9394LMbrigittew (10/5): Lovely hotel - Lovely hotel, amazing staff and overall good stay. Location was perfect for those visiting the US embassy. Would definitely recommend.
- Sean (10/5): -
- 873lyndseyr (10/5): Exceptional friendly Service - Excellent customer service, the lady that checked us in was very helpful, went through the meal deal option with us and reserved a table for us, room excellent, very comfortable. Food delicious and all the staff very help and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. From getting vinegar to explaining where we could get extra milk for tea in our room layer. Waiter was very helpful only one bottle of peroni left but came with an alternative. Would come again.
- 835stec (10/5): Great customer service - Today at dinner both lady’s Julia and nandini where fabulous and so was our food amazing which we spoken to our chef Ronwell
- sophiebA2398CZ (10/5): Excellent - I stay at this hotel most weeks for work, Nandini and Juliet always go the extra mile to make me feel comfortable feel at home.
- victor190214 (10/5): Amazing service - Katie has been amazing; she helped me out with my issues with WiFi and she made me feel welcomed. I've stayed in a lot of Premier Inns, and I tell you, not everyone is like her. She is an absolute asset to the business.
- Cavs1981 (2/5): Middle of nowhere hotel that’s poorly run. - This hotel is by no means in Chiswick. It’s a good 15 minutes walk.
The area itself is in the middle of nowhere and not very well lit.
We had multiple issues with key cards and it’s nearly impossible find someone to help or sort out the key card problem.
The icing on the cake is I parked my car in front of the hotel in a disabled spot because my dad is disabled. I woke up the next day and went to my car to find glass everywhere. My car was broken into and two suitcases taken. The hotel pushed the blame onto the company who runs the car park and they said it’s not their fault…despite paying £40 to park. It’s a joke.
I would avoid if you can.
- Aboogaloo (10/5): Really pleasant relaxing stay - Friendly and helpful reception staff and the premier plus room with toiletries and coffee machine were great. We were really impressed with this hotel.
- 14noelo (4/5): Worst Premier Inn I've stayed at - Bathroom dirty. Including in the toilet.
Shower freezing - no hot water.
Room was not made up on second day.
The auto check in did not work. My name or booking code was not recognised so I had to queue to get the guy with the laptop to key in same info to check me in.
Worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed at.
- sylviak791 (8/5): Good location - Booked a Premier Plus room due to it having a fridge and that we were staying a few days. Room was clean and ideal for our stay. We had the room cleaned when requested. Choice of breakfast suitable for all but I would say that the mushrooms one morning looked dry. There looked as if there were too many made and not enough oil to keep them soft. Staff friendly enough. Location was ideal for us. We were able to explore London by bus and it's a 20 minute walk into Clapham Junction which has bars and restaurants. Flat walk so enjoyable. There is a Tesco Extra, Sainsbury's and Co op close by. We didn't use the bar or restaurant so we can't comment on the prices. Would stay here if we come to London again due to the location.
- Farzana (2/5): - The property is close to tube station if you’re travelling into the city . Terrible customer service . The tv was not working and we asked for new batteries but the staff declined saying ‘’ we don’t have any and will send someone to fix it’’ No one came .
When checking in we pressed the buzzer for assistance , the male staff comes out and says ‘yes’. No hello or how can I help you .
Terrible experience
- rosIv (10/5): Great hotel…Lovely staff - We had a really excellent stay at this hotel very recently (Thursday 4/5th Sept). We were greeted on arrival by a member of staff called Caesay who checked us in with professionalism, efficiency and a warm welcome. Our room was great, as always with Premier Inn, and we had a very comfortable quiet nights sleep. We were given another warm welcome when we went down to breakfast which is a great price, lots of choice and very tasty indeed. Great coffee too. This hotel is perfect for a stay in a really pleasant and interesting part of London. Bus stops outside, train stations near and lots of eateries, bars and pubs in the area. We were so impressed by all the staff, all who we met had excellent customer service skills and genuinely friendly. Special mention to the chef for bringing my husband his freshly fried eggs to the table and also to Caesay who deserves recognition for his professional and warm approach to the guests…an asset to Premier Inns! We will definitely be back again for another stay!
- C1128HOkathrynb (8/5): Two nights in Clapham - I stayed for two nights. The room was very clean and the location is good, next to a few shops and bus stops. I managed to check in using the automation machines which was simple enough as there was no staff around. It is very pricey for what you get, but that may be staying in London in general. But overall a nice place to stay.
- neil333 (10/5): Homely and safe - Clean, friendly, very comfortable bed and quiet.
Great value for money, nice food and staff very welcoming, very important staying as s woman on her own.
- Matthew (8/5): - The room was good and the staff are nice but the location is a little unkept. Overall, it was fine.
- marioncJ7537WS (10/5): Highly Recommended - Just right for what we needed. Clean, comfortable beds, and very helpful staff. We had breakfast for both mornings of our stay which filled us up so that we only needed a very light snack until our evening meal. Bus stop outside, fairly easy to get to Battersea Power Station which is well worth a visit ( especially if you have lads that like Transformers and Lego😂). Easy access central London but also quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.
- smoham12 (10/5): Hospitable and welcoming - Amazing service and staff, staff were good, Steven, Naveed and Caesar were very helpful, would visit again, this is now my preferred hotel when on business or even with family
- andreafranklin2308 (10/5): Well pleased! - Was a good experience, affordable, clean, organized, cozy and received great service 🙌 I would stay here again. Visit was not long enough to experience more.
- Rachel (8/5): - Good clean rooms
- Tour02068877570 (10/5): Very nice stay - Very reasonably priced for a family room with easy access to central london as a direct bus stops right outside the hotel. Staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was very nice and again good value for a family. Room was clean and ample sizes for our needs.
- Herminia (2/5): - Horrorosa. No han cambiado las toallas ni las sábanas en los 7 días que hemos estado.
- Donghan (8/5): - Everything was good except transportation. Everyday super delays!
