Guest Reviews
- Resort42656258960 (8/5): Gone downhill. - Last went here a few years ago found it very good.
Went again beginning of December. Found that it had gone downhill. Poor condition very tired. Only good thing was the bed. Very disappointed.
- peterdQ1928CT (10/5): Decent hotel with friendly staff - Stayed here while visiting for a function. Hotel was very clean, rooms were immaculate, restaurant served decent food and the staff were very friendly.
- blondie520 (10/5): Highly recommended! - Highly recommended!
We had a brilliant start to our holiday at the Premier Inn Manchester South. The whole team provided fantastic hospitality, but a special mention must go to Tracy, Marika, and especially Nicolo. They are not only professional but also genuinely lovely people who went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and everything was perfect. They made our stay truly memorable. Thank you
- jeannep2022 (10/5): Comfortable and very clean hotel in an extremely convenient location for Manchester airport - The hotel is only a few minutes from the airport so is extremely convenient for our return flights as well travelling around during our stay.
On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by extremely polite and efficient reception staff and we're able to go to the room immediately.
The room was very comfortable and clean, and although only a few minutes from both a motorway and the airport, there were no sounds of traffic or aircraft at through the double glazed windows. We had an excellent stay at this hotel, I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be back in the not too distant future!
- F6090QTjudithg (10/5): Perfect place to stay for morning flight. - Comfortable bed, quiet room, pleasant temperature for sleeping. Free WiFi. Shuttle bus booked on arrival for morning trip to airport, convenient and reasonable at £5
- C2456DOandreaj (10/5): Another Fantastic Stay - As usual a fantastic stay Nikolo was lovely as usual checking us in swiftly and accommodating our room request great comfy bed good sleep before early flight .Meal great in the restaurant lovely food great service. Will be back in June again
- jonbP277GW (10/5): Jack at the restaurant - Would just like to say I’ve been looked after by Jack at the restaurant..
He is a credit to premier inn..
I stay in premier inns all over the country and as soon as I walk in I’m looked after..
He’s efficient polite caring and hard working and makes my stay 100% better Boeing he is there to look after me..
- Abol4 (8/5): Ideal location - So handy for the airport and the shared shuttle bus service to the terminal in the morning is very useful . The room was very comfortable and clearly refurbished, with a great bathroom. We ate in the restaurant and had excellent service from Lena who was so helpful and welcoming. She was very professional and seemed genuinely to care that we enjoyed the evening.
- johntZ6023GG (8/5): A good place to stay for a night or two pre or post flight. - This hotel is a long way from the Terminals (45 minute walk) and it's best to catch a cab to the Hotel or the Shuttle Bus. The room we had was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing we thought was needed is a couple of baggage stands, so you don't have to leave bags on the floor.
A good shower which had hot water at a decent pressure. Proximity cards to get into doors etc. is used in this hotel for security purposes. Staff at reception were good and the restaurant was a decent place to eat.
- charl26 (8/5): Great pre-flight stay, good restaurant but expensive parking - Stayed here prior to flying to Belfast for a long weekend. The location is ideal for a one night stopover as it’s so close to the airport. The room was large and clean with the restaurant on site providing a decent menu. The only downside is £14 per night for parking which is just way overpriced.
- Sightseer56221887519 (10/5): Great value & service. - I've been using this hotel for 15 years now & that's not through 'brand loyalty' (whatever that is...), rather because the service I've received has been consistently good.
Staff are almost invariably friendly & helpful, food very good & beds excellent.
- davidsE185WO (8/5): Usual Good Experience from Premier Inn - Used this Premier Inn for one night prior to early flight from T2 MAN. Excellent location for VS Twilight or early morning check in. Polite and proficient desk staff, clean and comfortable Premier Plus room and although facing the motorway there was little noise. Great night sleep in the Sophos bed. Well appointed and sizeable bathroom.
Adjacent parking was straightforward, voucher from the desk, feed into machine, type in vehicle reg, card payment of £14. Just drive out in morning.
Will definitely use this hotel again.
- Stevebrg_423 (8/5): Good hotel overall - Decent hotel for the price and great location for the airport and the room was quiet. The breakfast was good and Lena was very friendly and helpful.
Parking was a bit steep though at £14.
- Saron2929 (10/5): All round excellent! - Such a warm welcome from the guy on reception, very patient and helpful. Room very, very clean and bed amazing as usual. Loved my stay here.
- florencemW5220QM (10/5): Great customer service - The staff were lovely and friendly, good sized car park and I didn’t have to wait at the reception desk to be served as they had a speedy service !
- rickaY1808FD (10/5): Excellent service - Excellent staff in both Hotel and pub, very friendly teams, the premier inn team always friendly and the staff in the pub great especially a lady called Hayley
- CathMScarborough (10/5): Hassle free and a comfortable stay! - We stayed at this hotel either side of our flights from/to the airport. We had a positive experience; clean rooms, comfortable bed and everything we needed for a relaxing stay pre and post flight. We had the meal package which is convenient and saves hassle looking for somewhere to eat. Plenty of choice too. We were served breakfast by Lena who was welcoming and cheerful and it was clear to see that she took pride in her customer service to us and everyone we saw her interact with. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. We don't think you can beat Premier Inn for a restful stay at a reasonable price. Staying here takes the stress out of getting to the airport and is also ideal if you land later in the evening and don't want a long drive after your flight. Very happy with our stay and will definitely book again if flying from Manchester.
- riok476 (10/5): Stay again - Had a really nice stay. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I have a gluten allergy and Persia was so helpful and put me completely at ease I could tell she knew what she was doing. Overall lovely staff, would stay again!
- J1329WVannl (10/5): Premier in breakfast - Lena in the restaurant for breakfast was very helpful really friendly n happy in her work. Food was very nice too. Fried eggs was delicious
- D5933BClorrainew (10/5): Great overall experience - Second time stopping with you. Pleasant welcome at reception, room was lovely, food in the restaurant was great again and had a good night's sleep. Even booked again for our trip in December.
- Explorer59778949793 (10/5): Lena the legend - One of the best Premier Inns in the country.
Lena who works in the restaurant is a real people person and super friendly. A real asset to Premier Inn 👍
- Sugarbun65 (10/5): Flying visit - Quick visit early flight next morning 🌄 room was great nice to have tea/coffee in my room as none available downstairs when I arrived slept well & took advantage of their shuttle back to the airport in the morning
- nickcQ6553YA (10/5): Would definitely use the hotel again. - The only disappointment with the visit was distance to the terminal, but that was not much of an issue to speak of. Checking was easy and friendly - extremely helpful lady, really good first impression. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The staff in the dining area were also both friendly and helpful. The evening meal was fine, the breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice. Checking out was a breeze and I used the shuttle service to return to the terminal, again the driver was great.
- dnF4981ZZ (10/5): Great stay - Great service! It's my go to place when I need to stay in the area. Rooms are very clean and the staff is very helpful and professional. Highly recommend!
- Jet803348 (8/5): Exactly what I expect from a Premier Inn - My sister and I stayed here because we needed somewhere to stay the night before a walking event. It was pretty much what you expect from a Premier Inn. Admittedly, the reception looks pretty small and gloomy but how much time do you spend there? Our room, although quite small, had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The only slight issue we had was getting the hairdryer to keep working. We thought there was a problem with it but after speaking with the very friendly and helpful man in reception, he explained you have to keep your palm on a certain part of the handle to keep it working. We were obviously holding it wrong! This hotel was just what I’ve always expected from a Premier Inn and for what we paid, it was value for money.
- elevenelevencornish (6/5): Good and bad! - Firstly the good things...
Excellent location for what we needed. Beautiful surrounding area...went for a lovely walk down to the pond...you really should do this. The restaurant was great. Lovely food, friendly staff and a really pleasant experience. Ate evening meals and breakfast and can't fault any of it.
The not so good...
On arrival the gentleman in the reception was very friendly and helpful however...every other time we passed through the staff didnt even acknowledge us. One sat on the desk chatting to another with no recognition of anyone else. Very unprofessional.
The room was nice enough but needed a deep clean. The amount of cobwebs was disgusting...not just the odd new ones but really old ones. Bed and Pillows were comfortable but holes in bedding and in desperate need of replacing. Bathroom smelt very damp and towels had seen better days.
The walls seemed paper thin as well...could clearly hear our neighbours!
Maybe it was just our bad luck for getting a dud room.
We want to stay again as it's convenient for visiting family but not sure we will.
- Cheyenne (8/5): - Very clean rooms, comfortable. The staff were so-so.
- Frances (10/5): - The rooms was fantastic, large and clean, very comfortable bed and while it is a bit 'cookie cutter' in appearance, it's what you need to get a good nights sleep before a flight. The staff were good and the shuttle rocketed me on time so can't complain. Only 'negative' thing is that the hallways near the lifts/elevators could use some updating, otherwise, great place.
- GARY (10/5): One night - Convenient location to the airport
Met our needs
- T9826YQstaceyc (8/5): Fair - Room was good size for overnight stay, cleanish could of been better , had a twin room but beds were pushed together so had to move them apart , beds very comfy , the shower pressure was terrible and if you have long hair be prepared to be there for a while washing the shampoo out , area quiet didn’t hear outside noise, staff very friendly and helpful , had the premier inn breakfast deal next door in pub very good value , overall would stay again for an overnight stop
- vettedan13 (4/5): In need of a refurb! - The location of this hotel was the reason for chosing this place, on first impressions, I fealt like we were checking into a youth hostel, very small uninviting reception.
The corridors were also a bit grubby.
On entering the room the first thing we noticed was a very strange damp smell, the room was very tired and in need of new decor and maintenance.
There had clearly been leaks and issues around the bath and it showed.
Having said all this, the bed was very comfortable and we did get a good night's sleep.
The place just really needs a good refurbishment.
- FrankMiall (10/5): Customer service 6stars - First class food n customer service 👍had little issue with burger, with no question, deducted from bill. The lamb shank shepherd's pie was unbelievable, pork belly very good and pie also amazing.
I had to write a review because the staff. If they read this. They are credit to this restaurant, food was great. Be back...!
- kylegl91 (10/5): Perfect little stop over. - A pleasant little Premier Inn. Clean, quiet and the staff are lovely, especially Sylvia, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The adjoining pub is a great: good breakfast and friendly service. Highly recommended for a peaceful short stay.
- 422cathb (10/5): Highly recommended - Staff very friendly
Clean and welcoming nothing was to much problem
Highly recommended for a stay
Bed very comfortable
- anneg347 (8/5): Restful stay - Comfy and a quiet room, we requested that due to a four day stay. Room needs a paint refresh, but it was clean and well equipped. Basic provision but that's all we needed, we know Premiers aren't luxury but they do have comfy beds, clean rooms and a pub next door if you want to eat close by. The housekeeping staff were friendly and very helpful. 🙂
- James Meredith (10/5): - Did the job nicely and arranged a taxi for the morning
- K4298FZnickb (8/5): Pleasant but... - A pleasant stay and reasonably comfy.
Location was reasonable.
Car park was a bit full at times.
Cooked Breakfast finishes early on weekdays (9.00) which they didn't inform me of.
- N7537HQericb (10/5): A comfortable place to stay - The room seemed clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The water was hot for washing. The staff were amiable. Breakfast and dinner in the pub next door were good with plenty of choice and reasonably priced.
- Adventure21706386502 (6/5): Needs some TLC - Generally has a feeling of gone to seed. Grubby carpets, no shaver point, no tumblers in the bathroom. Property feels "down-at-heel.
- 660kariinaz (10/5): Weekend - Went for weekend with my partner. Lovely stay, nice and peaceful place to stay. Great service. Will recommend to everyone. Good price aswell.
Thank you
- IanPLancashire (6/5): Poor - Bit disappointed with this Premier inn. Very small and tight car park which makes parking difficult.
Rooms are shabby and definitely in need of an upgrade. Sweltering hot with no air conditioning and just a little fan. Quite noisy from fellow guests during the night led to a restless night. Good quality pub next door though.
- Oscar (10/5): - Stayed one night at at airport arrival. It was really close to the airport which was a great plus. Check in staff was super friendly. Restaurant was closed already but they offered late night pizzas, the pizza was really good haha. Room was spacious, big bathroom, they left a handwritten welcome note which was a really nice touch. Bathroom was good and clean. THE BED was awesome what a nice night sleep. Complete english breakfast, sausages, hash, beans, eggs, coffee, the full run. Def worth it if need to stay near the airport.
- izzyhutch (10/5): Happy with our stay at the hotel - This was the perfect overnight stay for us when attending a family members wedding nearby - the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the restaurant provided us with a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast and the garden was cool and pleasant in the hot weather for tea.
- VJC64 (2/5): No longer family friendly - Having stayed in various Premier Inns, this has to be the worst.
Traveling as a family of 6 adults, one toddler and a baby. The attached restaurant, the staff were soo miserable no small talk, no smiling, no interaction at all. When the food arrived it was basically thrown on the tables.
The rooms although small were adequate, however we where awoken around 2-30am by the next room to what I can only describe as an orgee, three adults performing sex acts, talking loudly, screams and moans. They then left the hotel around 3-30am.
I was unable to leave the room to go to reception due to not wanting to leave my partner and baby.
On leaving the next morning this was brought to the attention of the staff. I did explain that we were going away and I would make the formal complaint on my return. The staff explained that they would advise head office of this and too expect my complaint.
I contacted head office on my return who stated they had not been made aware and on contacting the hotel nothing had been documented.
I am not a liar, and I feel very very let down by both the Premier Inn complaints team and the hotel staff.
I have always had a good nights sleep and felt very safe in these hotels but not any more.
- klodiop (10/5): Fabilous prices - The quality of the Pillows and mattress were excellent, ive had a really good night sleep, i Will be booking Again with premier inn for sure.
Prices of the rooms are affordable, i would recommend this hotel to everyone staff are very friendly and helpfull.
- karen (10/5): Nice hotel clean food very good - Stayed in this hotel night before flying to Egypt very clean comfortable staff very helpfull.
Had good offer on evening meal and breakfast which where both very good
- bob (10/5): Pleasant and helpful staff - Stayed overnight prior to getting a flight. The hotel is comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant and Ali our waiter excelled with is friendliness and attention to detail he is a credit to your hotel. Would highly recommend a stay here for the airport.
- Darren (4/5): Hotel close to airport - I stayed with my wife and our 5 year old daughter.
Upon arrival I was disappointed to find the car park to the hotel to be a "pay and display" car park. After paying a small fortunate for a one night stay I was expecting parking to be a pre-requisite and not an additional cost. The person on reception, when challenged, simply stated, "we don't enforce it so it is up to you if you pay or not". Very helpful.
The room was basic but was all we needed for an overnight stay. The room was very clean and well maintained. However, the water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired.
Brakfast the following morning was a huge disappointment. We went down to the restaurant at around 7.45am to find the hot food wasn't hot. A lady seated near us actually complained and the response from the staff member was to arrogantly shout through the kitchen door, "have you got a probe, the food's supposed to be cold". After checks were completed it was promptly changed (no doubt to be reheated and put back out later). The food wasn't of a good quality. The majority was soaked in fat and the rest had dried in to a solid mass.
Not great. Happy we were only there for one night.
- Lamia (10/5): Relaxing overnight before travelling abroad - It was a pleasant experience for all the family .we booked the family room with the 2 double beds to relax before our next day flight . The room was very spacious& clean . Beds were comfy cosy and clean.and best of all was the bathroom .staff was very friendly and welcoming .I would definitely go again whenever I get a chance .,
- Tashie K (10/5): Great airport hotel! - Excellent hotel right by the airport. Staff were really friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent. Shuttle to the airport available. Good car park. Big room. Great pillows and bedding. Arrived late. Check in and check out were easy and straightforward. The staff were very friendly and efficient
- gioguy (8/5): Hotel located near airport - Early overseas flight determined a hotel close to airport.
Premier inn not the closest to airport but only takes 10 min cab or hotel shuttle ride.
Fortunately, good hotel lobby bar & decent restaurant as no other convenient places nearby unless traveling out by car / cab.
3 different dinner items were tasty & bit better than expected for short stay hotel.
Expect to pay for the convenience but our food was good.
Hotel was quite busy (Friday) & service time reflected that somewhat but staff were great.
Basic but clean & spacious room.
Mattress appeared to be a foam pad type, so again, basic comfort but it's a personal preference.
All in all acceptable stay / location.
- Chris Ensor (6/5): - 1. Surprised that a hotel with five floors has only one luggage cart. 2. The coffee machine in the lobby was out of order. 3. When we ate in the hotel, two of the three draught beers were not working. 4. We understand the need to restrict the volume on the televisions, but they were so low, when we turned on the fan (it was very hot that date) we were unable to hear. 5. Since this is listed as an airport hotel, it would make sense for guests to be able to print their boarding passes. We were told we could not use the printer in the lobby.
- Nancy (10/5): Convenient, comfortable, affordable airport hotel - Busy hotel close to Manchester airport. Friendly staff, generously sized nice rooms, good food in restaurant. A/C thermostat settings difficult to adjust. Great hotel for travellers.
- Betty (6/5): Basic premier inn - Booked a room for a few hours before a connecting flight, close to airport, restraunt on site. Thought that was me sorted. Nightmare checking in as reservation couldn't be found, restraunt didn't open until 5pm, (we arrived at 2 n flight back out was at 8) so no hot food, room wasn't up to standards of other premier inn' so have stayed in before. Checked out within the hour and back to airport. Highly disappointing.
- johnicks (10/5): Excellent stay - Spacious family room, very clean. Staff very helpful throughout stay. Ideal location for where we needed to be. Good breakfast, good selection and replenished. Would definately recommend and stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A good enough stay. - We arrive late in the evening. They told us that there was no paper work to suggest that we needed a cot for our small toddler. This being said, they got us one put in the room right away, before we even unpacked. The room was clean and a good temperature. Did find it a little inconvenient that there was no tub to bathe our little one in...as she will not go in the shower.
Would be an ok place to stay for a night before getting on a plane.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Stayed at this convenient hotel located close to manchester airport. We'd arrived back from mexico at around 7am and thankfully the lovely receptionist had let us check in at 8am as me and my partner were both totally exhausted and really appreciated the early check in. Located about a 5-10 min drive from the airport, you do have to pay for either a taxi, or a club car to get to-from the airport which costs around £6 a time. Don't think it'd be possible to walk. Staff all very friendly at this hotel. Would stay again for sure.
- ray (6/5): Very average at best - Uncomfortable bed. Air conditioning not great. Paid taxi or shuttle to airport.Pay for wi fi.
will NOT stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hospitality was great as well as cleanliness. The restaurant hours where poor and. Inconvenient.
- PaulT (10/5): Comfortable stay - Comfortable stay in great location for airport or motorway access. Service was very good & we had an enjoyable meal in the hotel restaurant.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Waited over one hour for food.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Location to airport - The Premier Inn is overall a really good choice, but their hotels at Manchester airport are further away from the airport as you first think when looking on the map. It's not just across the road as a map suggests, and you can't get there on foot. A taxi ride away -- one way fare- six pounds. It all adds up if you're hoping to go to/from the airport and/or go into Manchester city centre via the train as well...more taxis required. Once we adjusted our plans not to go into the city centre and found a super, great pub within walking distance of the hotel (The Romper) we had a very good overnight stay. Just thought it was worth flagging up about the location....there are other hotels closer to the actual airport if that's important to you! but that said, we would stay at Premier Inn again .
- John (10/5): airport hotel - great hotel near enough to the airport but not so near as to hear aircraft noise.
food was excellent & the bar had three or four bottled real ales available if draught beers don't appeal.
- deana (10/5): Close go airport. Very helpful staff. - Stayed 2 nights before taking my son to soccer camp. Big room, good restaurant on premise. Staff was VERY kind and helpful
- sally (10/5): Nice hotel close to airport - Chose the hotel due to the location for the motorway and the hospital we were visiting. Shame you had to pay extra to park
- Reece (10/5): Conveniently near airport - We needed to check in at 4:30 am and there were no problems at all with this.
They discounted the price of breakfast as it was nearing 10:30 am and there 'wasn't much left' there was still a huge choice of delicious full English breakfast items.
Lovely hotel!
- alysha (10/5): Great - Very clean and tidy would definitely stay here again in
- dmccourt (10/5): Excellent Service and would definately use again - Hotel is spotless and check in is seamless. Room is comfy and well presented. 2 things let it down, the Aircon that decided to switch on to heating in the middle of the night and the little green LED's from carbon monoxide detector that turn your room into a spaceship at night! Didnt get a wink of sleep, but as with any Premier Inn the offered me a full refund as both issues are common apparently. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING!
- Verified traveler (4/5): good overall hotel - Nice welcoming staff, everything nicely set out.
Unfortunately my room was directly above the reception and adjacent to the lifts so i could hear a reasonable amount of noise through the night, music and general chat in the reception, taxis dropping off/picking up(engines running) and could always tell who got in/out of the lift with a suitcase.
I was slightly disappointed with the bed comfort, i was expecting a lovely soft mattress as the adverts advertise, it wasn't!
Food was great and service and the staff were fantastic!
For a one night cheap stop over it was fine, if i was stopping longer i'd be looking elsewhere.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Bed was good - Handy for airport
- Heidi (8/5): Premier SOUTH - There are two Premier hotels side by side. We were in Premier South, and it was pleasant. Extremely busy... but surpisingly quiet. Parking was 5 pounds payable on site... Beds were a little hard, but the rooms were quiet and clean. Priced the same as onsite airport hotels, which is probably the only negative. Would recommend.
- Jude (8/5): Night before the Flight - No complaints about the room. Had a really good night a sleep. However, having decided to have our evening meal at the hotel, the service let it down. No complaints whatsoever about the quality of the food but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We were asked by reception at what time we would like to eat and we we were seated at the right time. However, we then waited 45 minutes for our meal to arrive. When I questioned why we were waiting so long, I was informed it was because we did not order a starter! The couple at the adjoining table waited more than an hour. They had ordered a starter share!! The waitress said they were unusually busy. Just not good enough.
- Megan (8/5): Good airport hotel - Very convenient for getting to the airport, about a 5 minute drive in the shuttle. It cost £3 per person each trip. Comfortable, clean room and bed. Did not have breakfast. Was a little noisy as you could hear people in the corridor but did not disturb our sleep. Good choice for staying near the airport at a good price.
- Antje (8/5): Good value for the price! - Everything was ok and we had a good night¨s sleep and a breakfast that took us through most of the day. Lock of the bathroom door was broken but got fixed. Good value for the price.
- Kevin (8/5): Nice size room, quiet considering close to airport - 2nd stay in the last few months while visiting England, close to airport, convenient for car rental return to airport location (Rental Village). Staff very friendly and helpful, will stay again in August the night before my return flight back to the USA. easy access of the M56
- Andrew (10/5): Excellent - A good overall experience, prior to a long haul flight.
- emma (10/5): great value airport hotel - Reasonably priced, comfy beds, just be aware you need to pay £10 for a round trip shuttle to the airport, its not on site, so after you pay that, others may be cheaper
- David (8/5): Excellent hotel for stopover before flight to USA - The hotel was perfect for our needs at Avery reasonable price. Check in was rapid and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Handy to fly home the next morning - Great hotel, but the beds were not comfortable, very hard.
- Rich (8/5): Good value, pleasant stay. - All the staff, without exception, were helpful, friendly and eager to please. The hotel and room were spotless throughout. Everything is clearly focussed on the needs and comfort of the guests. But motorway noise can affect rooms at the rear of the building.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bad room, good service - Room was too hot, and a noisy broken rooftop ventilator kept me up a lot of the night, however the staff were very helpful and offered a refund without me even having to ask
- Verified traveler (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Comfortable and well run motel. Helpful staff in Reception and restaurant.
- Tagn (10/5): - Quiet, clean rooms and pleasant staff. Excelent hotel to stay in near the airport.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Reasonable Priced Hotel 30 walk from Train - The walk to the hotel was further than expected as the only direct route from the hotel is via an obscure exit in T3.
The staff were helpful and friendly and were happy to arrange a taxi for our 06:15 departure as the bus service was limited at this hour.
- Jojo (8/5): Ugly on the outside, cosy on the inside - Stayed here before flying out of Manchester airport. Rooms were clean, staff were courteous, though restaurant staff were overworked as it was busy. A pleasant stay overall.
- Brucebones (8/5): Convenient - Nice hotel, very comfy bed. Close to airport, maybe a mile away, limited free wifi in the hotel, it does the job, the car park is very cramped, the spaces barely seem big enough for some of the cars, although several cars were parked badly in the bays..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel and restaurant are good. - Not close to the airport so you can take a bus, but only if the driver stops for you since there is not an official stop for the hotel. A taxi is probably best. A shuttler is available to the airport.
- Denis (8/5): Great place very near the airport - Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great stay and an excellent meal
- Mellor (10/5): Good location - Stay was great will be booking each time we fly much better than getting up 4 am to drive down staff lovely ,room spotless ,bed comfy .
- Tenerife bound (6/5): airport hotel Manchester - Comfy beds, hot water, clean sheets, no one told us that the dining room was closed. So breakfast was continental only served in a small conference room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel. Good Value - I enjoyed my stay. Staff was courteous. Good Value
- Bri (8/5): Bedroom amenities - Pity about the washbasin being IN the bedroom, and NO towel rail to go with it. But I understand the hotel is a conversion from another earlier hotel group, so maybe this will be addressed sometime.
- Heather (8/5): Decent for the price - My room was quite clean but there was a musty smell in the room that was quite strong. Whilst all the staff was friendly, I was a single female travelling with a lot of baggage and not once did a single hotel representative offer to help me as I struggled with three large suitcases and a piece of hand luggage. It would have been nice if someone had even offered to hold the door... Overall, it was decent enough for the price but I've stayed at the one across the street (North) and I preferred that one.
- mandy (10/5): good hotel perfect for the airport - needed a hotel near airport so ideal for that getting there from the train station not so easy the hotel is comfortble clean and the staff good easier to get to the airport with the shuttle bus from the hotel
- Write (10/5): Enjoyable for an airport stay - It's a basic hotel, at a basic price. It's the McDonald's hamburger of hotel chains - you know exactly what you are going to get. A clean room, comfy bed, basic food, and nice staff. I've stayed here before and will stay again.
- AllanH (8/5): Good stop over for the airport - Found it no problem with the GPS. There are two Premier Inns at this address so make sure you know which one you are booked into. Staff were friendly....I arrived at the start of half term so the place was jumping! Was told I had a 40mins to be served dinner so got the staff to book me a table at the other hotel across the road which they did without any fuss, and a 3 minute walk later I was sitting down. Dinner was good, staff were pleasant. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Didn't do breakfast. Would use it again for airport travel....would think twice if it was a romantic break unless you are a plane spotter! :-)
- Verified traveler (10/5): The Hotel fitted the bill for one night. - The room was very comfortable. The only draw back the staff who were on duty for breakfast were late. It was a very rushed breakfast as planes do not wait for people who are late.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Not what I expected. Far better! - Super room, newly furbished perhaps. Very modern feel to it. Staff very helpful and friendly. Comfortable stay.
- Phil (10/5): Overnight airport stay - Excellent hotel for the price
- Laura (8/5): Hotel close to the airport - Staff were excellent and very friendly. Low stress at check-in!
