- Global23368072064 (6/5): More effort for Breakfast please? - This is a usual Premier inn experience, not bad at all.
However breakfast is a buffet that is always a bit luke warm!
This shouldn't be difficult, hot food please?
The baked beans have actually been cold every day, not even a little bit warm.
Come on, please try harder.
- spvdevon (10/5): Always book Premier Inn now - I needed a hotel room in London for 1 night; I didn't mind not being in Central London but wanted somewhere near a tube station. As always now I first check Premier Inn and found this hotel. Fantastic price so I booked it - the Arnos Grove underground station is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. I checked in using the self service; my room was spotless, clean and modern. Bathroom also spotless. Slept really well, didn't hear any from other guests or from outside. For the price it was brilliant, I paid under £50 and couldn't fault the hotel. Arsenal Football stadium is just a few stops away on the same line so easy to get to and from; central London is about 30 minutes away on the underground. There is an Aldi just round the corner from the hotel along with a tiny Morrisons shop; a large retail park is about a 15 minute walk away.
Highly recommend.
- mounirab580 (10/5): Kind team - Very happy with the tam specially Bibi very kind ,professional and made us feel like home .
My little daughter loved her so much
- richardbG2695AX (10/5): Great stay in convenient location - First class service at Premier Inn, New Southgate.
Team were friendly and check in was quick and easy.
Room was clean and beds super comfortable.
We were staying for 2 nights and taking in the usual London highlights and a concert at nearby Alexandra Palace.
Breakfast was a choice of continental or full English with ample choice, well cooked and choice of teas, coffees and cold drinks with free refills.
I ate in restaurant one evening due to family member not feeling great and had their burger with fries and slaw. Great meal at a reasonable price.
The team, as mentioned were fantastic, really friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend
- Roving528604 (10/5): Overnight stay with family. - A good location for where we were going. Calm, friendly hotel. The room was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Bibi, lovely lady.
- B2059KUjohnc (10/5): Very friendly staff - We stay at this premier inn every year and this is the second year we have met Judith, she really is a breath fresh air she is very friendly and will go 10,000 miles to look after everyone, I see her running around doing all the jobs making sure the place is kept clean even when some morning it been very busy.
- philsM9096DJ (2/5): Dont stay in room 5 with a family above u they won't refund u - Worst night stay ever family above kids banged on the ceiling hours complain nothing done next morning same again ask for refund nothing done from a long train journey to have no sleep horrid stay
- JulietteWyn (10/5): Recommended hotel for short stay in london - Location easy to find. Friendly staff. Room had everything we needed including nice towels & tea/coffee tray. Option to restock coffee & tea during our stay using items set out in easy to locate trays in foyer. Really good choice at breakfast & tasted great!
- J9644TFvitorc (10/5): Thank you Bibi - Bibi was exceptional in resolving a problem with my reservation, which allowed me to sleep after a night of work. Thank you.
- Ladybentley (4/5): Premier Inn overcharged and wouldn’t admit it - The hotel is in a good position. Parking outside was free and very convenient. It was easy to get into Victoria on the tube with a change at Stockwell. We had a very comfortable Premier Plus room with two armchairs, and a nice modern bathroom and good shower. As far as the hotel goes, there was only one downside – our aircon unit gurgled constantly. We were so jetlagged after flying for 24 hours that we managed to sleep the first night but the next night it was very noticeable. We advised reception the next morning that it had disturbed our sleep and were told to report it online. The reply was that they weren’t interested because we hadn’t reported it after the first night. Not very customer friendly! But there was worse after check out. We’d pre-paid the room and a £10 fee for an early check in which had been confirmed by email with a receipt. But the evening after checking out we received an email with a new invoice stating we’d been charged another £5 because the early check in fee was £15. We weren’t even told about it when checking out so couldn’t query it then. The fee was definitely £10 when we paid it months earlier.
Twice we emailed the hotel copies of our confirmation email and receipt, telling them that Premier Inn can’t just arbitrarily raise the price later for something that has already been paid for. No response! Then we tried online. After we’d left the UK we finally got a reply saying early check in was now £15. For weeks we sent more emails pointing out that it didn’t matter what they were charging now. It was £10 when we paid. Finally we advised Premier Inn that we were asking our bank to reverse the extra credit card £5 charge. They then had the nerve to ask us for proof of the original £10 fee. Well, it was in their records and in the copies of the confirmation email and receipt we’d been sending them continually for weeks – if they’d just bothered to look at them! After resending them yet again, they at last admitted the error and refunded us. This felt rather like sharp practice and we can’t help feeling they assume people won’t query it. We’ve stayed at several Premier Inns on previous visits to the UK but not again!
- lukejames43 (10/5): Great customer care - Wimbledon South Premier Inn, very modern and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, parking was easy. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfect!
- Y1607LEnicholasb (10/5): Lovely Clean Hotel: Felt like home - We stayed at Premier Inn Wimbledon South for a long weekend and had a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the rooms were very comfortable (especially the beds, which made for a great night’s sleep after busy days out).
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The choice was excellent, with something to suit everyone in the family, and everything was fresh and well presented. A special mention must go to Judith, a member of staff who made the mornings feel extra welcoming. Her friendly nature and attentive service created a warm and relaxing atmosphere that really stood out. She is a real credit to Whitbread and added a personal touch that made our stay memorable.
Overall, we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a breakfast experience that sets the tone for the day.
Premier Inn Wimbledon South delivers on all fronts.
- SimonP882 (4/5): Disappointing. - Stayed one night. Decided to eat in restaurant, wasn’t busy but staff couldn’t cope. Very slow, not friendly either. Bedroom had a very noisy vent, no instructions for a/c either. Mentioned it to reception in morning. Manager advised I email customer relations who were utterly useless when I did email them, infact weeks later I am still waiting further reply which clearly isn’t coming! Like most businesses staff make up answers and aren’t trained. Stayed in numerous Premier Inns and this is definitely the worst from my experience.
- sallyd613 (10/5): London sightseeing - The location was ideal, close to Earls Court tube station and main bus links. Though on a busy road the room was very quiet. Clean and tidy as you would expect, well appointed room. Staff friendly and helpful.
We have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years and the breakfast here was quite simply the best we have ever had. Full selection of juices, cereals and pastries. The cooked food was freshly done, and very good quality. The young ladies looking after the room were very attentive making sure nothing ran out.
- Taylaphelan (10/5): So helpful - We had a great time at premire inn, Sayuri and Mantas were so helpful when we checked in, they accomodated moving us and our friends rooms close together and nothing was to much! Very hospitable and so friendly!
- Mark74London (2/5): Steer clear of here if you need parking - Steer clear of here if you need parking. It's a decent enough hotel in a reasonable location but they have a major issue with parking - other reviews mention folk getting parking tickets for making mistakes but even if you park in a Hotel parking space, and pay Premier Inn for parking, you might get a ticket - the parking company managing the residents parking (it's a shared car park) gave me a ticket. In the end I managed to get it cancelled but had go through two appeal processes, and spent many hours fighting it. I got no help from Premier Inn - both the central guest services and the hotel itself had no interest in helping me, or even taking action to prevent rogue parking companies acting in their car park. In summary: avoid if you need parking.
- LissaC74 (10/5): Comfortable stay - Supported by staff member Judith this morning, such a lovely friendly lady.
The breakfast was nice especially the scrambled eggs.
Friendly reception and great coffee.
The room was comfortable and clean. Had a good night's sleep.
Check in was fast and staff member welcoming.
Overall a good experience
- ainsleighg (10/5): Amazing experience - Bibi was absolutely fantastic! from the second we walked in, from helping have a drink at the bar to letting us check in early she was provided nothing short of amazing customer service! would 100% recommend this location and definitely will be returning on our next trip!
- paulmQ9527SE (10/5): Warm welcome and a great base for London - We stayed two nights in early November on a leisure trip and booked a double room. Check in was easy and friendly, and Bibi on reception deserves a special mention for her welcoming manner even though she was full of cold. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the temperature was spot on. Wi Fi worked well for browsing and planning our days.
The bathroom was clean, though it would benefit from a little maintenance, the bath seal was heavily cracked and the bath panel a bit loose. I also found the supplied shower gel very watered down which was disappointing.
Location is a real strength, Arnos Grove tube station is a short walk away for quick access into the city, and having parking on site made everything simple. Considering this was a stay in London, the value for money was very good.
Overall, a relaxed and reliable stay that ticked all the important boxes. Five out of five from us, and we would happily return.
- David E B (6/5): - Lille supermarked 25 meter væk.
- Seaside674012 (6/5): You should be ashamed to call this a hotel! - There was no one to welcome us, if you have a hotel, have a reception!! We were very unimpressed. The floor in the reception area was sticky, and dint improve through our stay.
The sheets on the bed didn’t even reach the end of the bed. The shower gel had been water watered down and did even lather!
There was NO room service to make the bed or change the towels if required.
The parking was not clear and the paid station was not in the hotel.
- Tones1391 (10/5): Excellent stay - As ever with Premier Inn a very comfortable family stay. Clean rooms, decent bar.
Particular mention to Judith at Breakfast- outstanding customer service!
- M6503IGsuep (10/5): A happy stay - A warm welcome from Mantas! He kindly made sure we had the room we were happy in. All the staff were so friendly and the room was comfortable with great lighting and heating that worked! Altogether a happy stay and we will be back! Thank you
- sophie_c0007 (8/5): 2 Night Stay - Okay location, 10 minute walk to a tube , you have got a Starbucks, Morrisons corner shop, b and m and Little Aldi up the road, and a M and S petrol station.
Atmosphere- Was good,Very Calm and welcoming.
Room - it was very clean, apart from stains on the side of the bed.
Value - When looking online the price seam reasonable, good place to stay if you don’t want to spend a fortune on a hotel in London, but don’t mind traveling into London by tube as it is a 25-30 minute tube journey into kings Cross.
Noise - Considering the hotel is next to a busy road, I hardly Hurd any noises, the only sound I Hurd from outside was if a ambulance went by, and even down the corridor I think I Hurd about one door close.
Service - The Receptionist I had was Bibby and she was amazing, booked me in, I had to ask for a few extra bits, ironing board and iron, I got it straight away, my Unlimited Wifi wasn’t working and she helped me out and fixed it for me! She did an Amazing job ! Very happy Costumer.
- 667sanaeb (10/5): Proficient management and attention - I would like to highlight Cristina Corbu for her exceptional kindness and professionalism at Premier Inn.
She always goes the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and cared for.
Her warm attitude and attentive service create a truly pleasant experience.
Cristina is a valuable asset to the hotel and an excellent example of genuine hospitality.
Thank you, Cristina, for making every stay memorable and enjoyable.
- Journey10354837552 (10/5): BiBi is an amazing manager here!!! - BiBi is an amazing manager here at Premier Inn, she was very accommodating when we had an issue with our booking, she was very understanding and helped us in every way that she could, She would check up on us during breakfast and ask if we needed anything. Overall she’s a great personal and i would recommend staying here just for her!!!
- stuartbM1646XW (10/5): Great overnight stay - Excellent overnight stay rooms very clean and tidy and comfortable the staff very friendly Judith on the breakfast was very polite and helpful the hotel is in a great location
- K9110LEjoem (10/5): Spot on - Judith was an extremely polite and talkative member of staff sets a great tone over breakfast, food was also good at breakfast.
- tomzN9564BK (10/5): Very happy - Lovely front of house staff
And clean room…………..
thank you…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
- anisaa891 (10/5): Freeing - I love how big and spacious it is! Very clean, comfy, and affordable stay with friendly staff — great value for short trips
- Appleton33 (6/5): Dirty, unclean but well positioned with free parking, bring flash wipes. - I’ve stayed in many Premier Inns and this was the dirtiest, on arrival we found poo on the bathroom floor, threshold and carpet (which we cleaned). There were also spill marks up the bathroom door, we stayed for four nights and pieces of rubbish in the hallway remained there the entire time. The hotel is well positioned for the tube and the car park is free. The breakfast was good and the staff we meet were friendly.
- D7298BXsimonr (10/5): Comfy place, useful for location - I stayed with family over half term. We found the room to be clean and happily near the lift. The breakfast was good- managed to snag some pastries before they all went. Kelly and Masha were helpful and kind. Thank you!
- Fearless26557596657 (10/5): Great stay, nice staff - We recently stayed at Premier Inn hotel and had a wonderful experience. Everything was welcoming, comfortable beds, great location, and reasonable prices.
The staff were nice and friendly and seemed to clearly care about the guests’ experience.
Especially, Sonila, always greeting with a smile and a willingness to help, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
We’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family.
- B6896IYantonellad (10/5): Great service - I was checked in by sonila she was great very helpful and served by sayuri they are very kind and smiling always even in busy workplace thank you saluting and sonila and dinner was great
- F8721DPdianas (10/5): Fantastic - I had a great experience at this particular branch. The food is great I especially love the raviolis that’s part of their new menu, the place was very clean and the staff is extremely accommodating, in particular Sonila was fantastic she was super friendly always checked if everything is fine and very helpful with everything. An absolute star and a true asset, she was great! Thank you premier inn New Southgate
- ParsiTravellerFreddy (10/5): Wow!!! - Went for dinner and was surprised with how nice the restaurant was. Marii served us and was very attentive. Got out orders right and checked back on my steak. Thanks a lot will definately return
- nicolae656 (10/5): Clean, friendly staff and good value! - Rooms are very clean and comfortable , staff are helpful and friendly, we had a great stay and good game for money thank you!
- Freespiritmeath (10/5): Great value and comfort - Staff were very friendly and helpful, we were late arriving to the hotel, after midnight, check in was fast and smooth. The hotel was clean and well maintained, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The area itself was nice, safe and quiet and easy access to the underground. Service was good in the breakfast room, even when busy. A very comfortable relaxed stay for a family.
- V8474SAseanb (2/5): Don't go - This hotel has been run down, needs an urgent refurbishment in all areas. - Don't go!
The hotel is tired, dirty and needs a refurbishment in all areas. Carpets dirty, floor boards creaking and rooms not clean. Premier Inn need to up their game at this hotel. Really disappointing and not up to their normal standard.
- anthonykM775PH (10/5): Good service with a smile - Staff at the wimbledon south prem inn are very very welcoming and extremely helpful nothing is too much trouble
So if you are looking for a hotel in the area I would definitely recommend this hotel
- IanandFi (6/5): Great location, Looks attractive enough from the outside. Old and tired inside. - Great location for Earls Court Tube Station, but it is a tired hotel. We've stayed at many Premier Inns in and outside London. This one is a much older hotel and although the room was clean enough, it felt damp and the plumbing struggled. Bath filled up quickly with shower water and toilet was slow to flush. Overall it didn't spoil our weekend away but I won't be returning to this one unless it gets a revamp. There are far better Premier Inns.
- josephsB104OX (10/5): Business stay - Joselyn was very helpful, fantastic service and help from the girls on the front desk with everything. They were very accommodating to my needs
- ashleysX4888SJ (10/5): Excellent - Ideal location, very friendly staff. Superb check in. With plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby as well at public transport! Will book here again as car park is convenient!
- 243andieb (10/5): Lovely stay - Amazing stay. Gorgeous gorgeous stuff, gorgeous stay. Love the beds, love the floor we were on. Fabulous stuff. Gorgeous
- oliverhE4972NI (10/5): Premier in stay - Lovley stay, very welcoming! Gorgeous bed, absolutley Lovley room, never fail to love a premier inn man, gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous
- 240zeee (8/5): breakfast - Jenny in the kitchen and Judith in the breakfast room are amazing and make breakfast a pleasure everyday.
They go the extra mile and after a long stay here they have made my stay second to none! Thank you guys!
- Christopher (8/5): - Good location and good hotel. They closed bar and food service early for no reason, which was disappointing
- 177Jill2014 (10/5): Second stay this year. Just as good as the first. - Stayed this weekend with our 13 year old grandchild. Large clean room spacious bathroom, bath with shower. Took advantage of the meal deal offer great value. Friendly staff team who couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic location 5 mins walk from Earls Court tube station. Would definitely stay here as a Base.
- H8912CGjenniferp (8/5): Good, central and close to everything in west/central London - Clean, modern, lovely powerful hot shower, easy check in. Nice quiet vibe. Central, 5 min walk from earl court, Tesco superstore in Kensington and 5 min uber ride to Holland Park.
Things to consider- no plugs by bedside, there are usb plugs but do not fit newer I phone models (which many many people have)
1 pillow very flat.
However would stay again but I think they need to put more plug sockets in their rooms!!
- Z474PUlaurar (2/5): Double charged - They charged me twice to stay here. On arrival the payment was taken but in a pending state. Despite evidence in app it had been paid the manager insisted on a second payment to let us stay saying he "knew if would bounce back". It didnt. I paid twice.
Bank had advised he cancel the first charge, again he refused offering only his email saying "if it does come out twice trust me ill refund it immediately" didnt care about the financial difficulty it would cause to pay twice. Spoke to guest relations who have issued a refund but that will be another 5-7days before I have my money back. Horrific service
- cuzzy8181 (2/5): Left Smelling of Sewage – Bathroom Unusable - I stayed at the Premier Inn Kensington Olympia in September and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The bathroom had a weird smell on arrival which became much worse during the night, spreading into the bedroom. My son opened the bathroom door while we slept, and by the early hours the whole room stank of drains and mold.
The smell was so overpowering that I couldn’t use the bathroom properly and was unable to shower. We left the next morning still smelling of sewage, which was both unhygienic and embarrassing.
I contacted Guest Relations afterwards and was disappointed with their response. They told me I should have spoken to staff during the night because they are available 24/7. My view is that it is not my job to room-check for obvious problems and if staff are always available, the room should never have been allocated in the first place given the smell.
Premier Inn only offered a partial refund, despite the fact that the bathroom was unusable and our stay was ruined. Apparently the smell of sewer and being unable to shower isn’t doesn’t qualify for the “Good Night Guarantee” they promise.
This is not the level of service or quality I expected, and my experience did not reflect the standards Premier Inn advertises.
WiFi was poor and there were hairs in the shower so pretty sure it hadn’t even been cleaned which would explain why they didn’t pick up on the smell before allocating us that room.
- elainemZ3318YD (10/5): Great location for our weekend stay in London - Great quiet location, clean reception area, staff friendly. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast great as usual.
Would recommend and would stay again.
- lis123355 (2/5): NEVER AGAIN TERRIBLE PREMIER INN - I Would never stay at this premier inn again. It is Quite run down and tired. After staying here for two nights, hours after returning I had extensive bites over my body which could have only came from this hotel resembling either bedbugs or fleas. I complained to the hotel who didn’t want to know and the response was far from reassuring. I have been a long standing regular customer of premier inn but they would rather lose a customer than put things right. Shocking aftercare service and quite frankly shame on you premier inn, I will be taking my business elsewhere as you do not care about the heath and hygiene standards that you provide your guests. This was not only uncomfortable and distressing but completely unacceptable from a hotel that claims to offer clean and comfortable accommodation.
There was little urgency or concern shown about what clearly appeared to be a serious hygiene issue. I expect a far higher standard of cleanliness and customer care from a major hotel chain.
Whether it was bed bugs or another cause, this experience has made me question the health and safety standards of premier inn. I now have to deal with the aftermath — the discomfort of the bites, medical treatment costs, and the stress of possibly bringing an infestation home with me. They do not care, absolutely terrible!!!!!!
- U3325BWjanet (10/5): Birthday celebration weekend stay - Fantastic hotel 5 - 10m walk from Earl’s Court tube station and great for Chelsea area and exploring the city. Staff universally friendly and welcoming, really clean, tidy and spacious room with comfy beds. Breakfast everything you could wish. Amazing value in London - would DEF recommend and stay again.
- ytse411 (10/5): Comfy quiet place to sleep! - Great place to stay! Comfy bed, very quiet, lovely staff. Went here on a solo trip from the US. Reserved a premier room which was on the top floor. Breakfast buffet was enough to start the day. Basic room, but they dont hesitate to provide any needed things. Would definitely book again.
Walking distance from Holland Park Natural History Museum/V & A museum, etc. Earls Court area has lots of places to eat.
- yogakaren2016 (10/5): Great location, perfect for a central London stay. - Location was spot on - 5 min walk from Earls Court underground station, 10 min walk to Olympia or Kensington High Street with it wide array of shops, eateries, coffee shops and supermarkets. The room itself was small, quiet and clean - perfect for a short stay.
Note: in a standard room the USB charge point for the phone is USB-A at the bedside table. A power socket was at the desk on the other side of the room.
- samanthajH7604TR (10/5): Amazing - We arrived stressed and not knowing what to expect . It’s true the decor is a little tired . The bed is super comfy - the room and bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed , clean and tidy
Mum is in a wheelchair but can walk a little way
The staff here at Kensington Cromwell rd
Went out of their way to accommodate us - helping always with the wheelchair . Chatting making us - ( mum ) feel very special
Eli ;- your an absolute star . I wish there were more like you in the world .
Barbera and Morishka in the mornings were stunning - kind considerate and couldn’t do enough
The gentleman chef who was working Sunday 31 Aug ( I’m so sorry I don’t know your name - was asked to assist with the wheelchair . Thankyou your help was very appreciated
The Hotel is great value for money . The staff just brilliant
Xx
- Pioneer780242 (10/5): Brilliant staff - What you’d expect from a Premier Inn - comfy bed, functional and clean room. Good location for museums & close to Earl’s Court so convenient for getting pretty much anywhere else. What made it 5* was the service - all staff were so friendly & welcoming & so helpful, couldn’t fault them!
- TimP554 (10/5): This is where we'll stay whenever we come to London. - We love this place - it's a five minute walk from Earl's Court tube - there was even a street juggler (in the middle of the road...) last night as we left. The air con is priceless after a hot day in London. The staff are really helpful and friendly and we plan to use this hotel now as a base each time we come to the capital. Next time we'll take advantage of happy hour.
- Melarina82 (10/5): Great stay again - We have had a lovely stay here . Room was bigger than we expected which was great . Bedding did have stains but was clean . Bathroom was clean and the towels were soft . Beds as always were super comfy and we all slept very well . Staff were all very friendly especially the breakfast ladies and a special mention to Bonnie who chatted to us at the desk and made our stay even better
- agnesfV5176KS (10/5): Such an enjoyable stay! - My stay at the Premier Inn London Kensington (Olympia) hotel was lovely. All the staff I came across were professional, helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very well cooked with a good choice of food. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly keep it in mind when I next stay in London.
- sandrawP8205YE (10/5): Family overnight stay. Good value. - Stayed here for one night with my daughter and 2 grandchildren aged 8 and 13.
Family room clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. Nice hot powerful shower. We paid for breakfast (kids eat free with a paying adult) Food plentiful and freshly cooked. Cereals fruit cooked breakfast and continental all available. Dining room not too busy at 9am and plenty of helpful staff.
Hotel close to Earl's Court Underground Station. You could walk to museums and Hyde Park. We have stayed here before and will return. Good value for a London hotel.
