• kirsty10000 (2/5): Someone is sleeping in my bed! O - I had someone sleeping in my room!!!! Beware, I was told if you have the same room key number in another hotel it could open your door. Worse still, I think someone just needs to show their room key (piece of paper) and get another key. This man in my bed was completely drunk. Absolute disgrace and a breach of safety. Won’t be staying in a premier inn again and will be reporting this to my workplace and to whichever partnering standards committee will listen. Terrible.
• H4373SKsteved (10/5): Enjoyable stay in Edinburgh - Stayed for 3 nights at the end of November. Check in was easy and very friendly. The room was warm and had everything we needed. Good shower and clean bathroom. Easy to use heating. Lovely comfortable bed. Meals were very good and reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend just over 5 minutes walk from the station!
• F9004QOsimonw (2/5): Smelly, bad customer service and mould in the room - Paid for an early check-in for a family room, check in desks broken and a curt employee asked what we wanted. After checking in the room was extremely smelly and mould on the ceiling. I requested a different room and was told I would have to leave the current room now and wait 4 hours in the reception for another room. Absolutely minimal service level. Will not stay here again. It’s cheap but not worth the money, pay a little more and stay somewhere clean that does not smell.

• RoosC1 (8/5): Good place to stay - Very convenient hotel in the middle of New Town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are adequate, no frills. Stayed in an accessible room, the bathroom was excellent. Great shower!

• rowanb783 (10/5): Great value for money, central location - Our stay was lovely, the room was nice - top floor with a view of the roof of the next building and a gargoyle type statue. The food at the breakfast was nice, apart from on our 2nd morning when the meats (bacon and sausage) were room temperature, despite us being a few minutes early before the official breakfast time had started. Only thing missing from the room was a toilet brush. There was a peculiar brown liquid stain on the side table (hoping/telling myself it was chocolate milkshake).

• Katgrayable (10/5): Exceptional Staff - After staying at multiple Premier Inn's, I can safely say this was one of the best. The hotel was clean and comfortable but what truly stood out was Laura and Harvey. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. They were genuinely friendly, helpful, and really made our stay. Overall a lovely team and a credit to Premier Inn, thank you!

The staff were all very attentive and could not do enough for myself and my mother. Thank you so much and will be back.

• stuartmccd (4/5): Shockingly poor management at meal times. - This Premier Inn has a contemptuous attitude towards its staff and, thus, a contemptuous attitude toward the guests. Breakfast was shockingly poor. There were issues with poor quality fruit, but it was the understaffing that was the real issue. No eggs on Saturday and only one staff member at front of house who was overworked yet polite and facilitating. I would avoid eating at this Premier Inn.

Breakfast poor , dirty tables not cleaned up , lack of cooked breakfast essentials , slow replenish. No muffins or croissants , barely any crumpets or pikelets, told it would be 20mins for replenishments but they never turned up . Coffee machine on the blink . Staff again lacking , 2 people running the whole breakfast. Not acceptable for Premier Inn which is usually fabulous
• Z2143TOmelanied (4/5): unfortunate management of disruption - The hotel is very well located. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately there is building work next door and my room must have been right next to it because i was woken up at 7:45 every morning to very loud drilling. I understand that its not possible for the hotel to control this, however knowing it is going on they should not be allocating rooms where this disruption is occurring. I tried a few times to go to reception to request a room change and there was no one there to speak to.
• raymakin0051 (2/5): Shame on you Premier Inn - It was, without doubt, the worst weekend break we have ever experienced. The hotel was shabby so that cleaning wasn’t producing a quality outcome. There was no lift and the stairs and passageways were narrow and awkward. There was flaking paint in the bedroom and mould, even round the soap dispenser. We had breakfast on the first morning but it was not of the usual Premier Inn standard. We didn’t want breakfast the next day which was lucky because a notice at reception told us that “owing to a National Supply problem” there was no food available. (There were 3 large supermarkets within a 3 mile radius). Non of the staff were able to do anything other than say how sorry they were but one said that the hotel was going to close next year for a total refurbishment. The company website should have warned that this was going to happen and that the hotel was not up to standard. Paying £211 for 3 nights in such shabby conditions was not acceptable. Luckily we did not have young children to worry about.
• pauleS1024YX (8/5): Good location for the airport as a stop over - I recently stayed at the hotel due to location, it had everything you would expect at a Premier Inn. It was reasonably priced at £73 for a Monday night. Room was spacious and quiet, the bedding and towels were clean. My only criticism is that the public area looked tired and could do with a refresh and the carpets throughout need a deep clean as a minimum, reminded me of pub carpets! There was also obvious fluff all along the edges by the skirting boards. Would it stop me from stating again? No, it’s just an observation that it needs some attention.

The location was superb, the room was clean and of course the bed was comfortable. We were celebrating our 54th anniversary and everything came up to expectation. A special thanks to the lady who served us in the restaurant on Wednesday 30th.
• 331annec (10/5): Brilliant Short Break - Theatre Break- Arrived by train, hotel in great location for shopping and attending Playhouse. Checked in at 11am ( small charge ). Room was very clean and usual standard for a Premier Inn. Extra tea, coffee and milk available near to the reception. Hotel was fully booked but did not hear any noise. Breakfast buffet was great- shown to seat and waiter told us where everything was. Food was plentiful and piping hot. Staff constantly monitoring and replenishing promptly as and when required. All staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We checked out early and made use of the hotel luggage room. Will be back!

• FiMillar (8/5): Farnborough Southwood - convenient and welcoming, good value stay - Convenient location 5 minutes drive from M3. Plenty of free parking for guests. Two blocks for accommodation and a large pub restaurant on site. Helpful and friendly reception - system is simple with key card to get access to residential areas including room. Large room, WiFi worked but basic, bed very comfortable. Water in bathroom hot and shower worked well. Breakfast was good value - lots of choice and cooked well. It did take 10 minutes for vegan choices to be cooked on order but very tasty when it arrived. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Whole place could do with a refresh but it was clean and great value for an overnight stay.

• ArchieG973 (10/5): One of the best Premier Inn's - Brilliant experience at this Premier Inn in Edinburgh. We got checked in ahead of the usual 3pm as our room was ready. Plenty lifts up to the rooms which was adequate for the 2 of us. Room was clean and tidy and was very quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable infact was best night sleep I've had in ages. We did the meal deal and dinner was good and plentiful also the breakfast with the cooked food cooked freshly. Staff all polite and helpful.
• Dickusok (8/5): Good location - We normally book premium rooms when staying at a premier inn, however on this occasion we had a standard room. It was clean and spacious and as usual pretty comfortable. Premiere inn are saving money by not providing glasses in the bathroom, using cheap single tissue dispenser instead of toilet rolls and only providing 1 hand towel for 2 people. As usual no toilet brush is available. The hotel is in an excellent location and although in a busy area was very quiet inside. We had booked an early check in and the auto check in wasn’t working. We had to wai at least 10 minutes for a staff member to check us in and he wasn’t vey friendly or speedy.
• kissfreek (4/5): Good hotel but chaotic ending - Our stay here was fine until we came to leave when utterly chaos and an unacceptable and dangerous level of (non) service applied. The hotel is very well located on Rose Street about a 5-10 minute walk from Waverley station and is, as are all Premier Inns, clean, comfy, quiet and welcoming. Our room was great and comfy with all the amenities we wanted for a 2 night stay. We chose not to have the room cleaned during our stay but the room was very clean and stocked on our arrival. Breakfast was good, taken in the on site restaurant and bar and good value. There were some very short waits for hot items but all was good. Overall I would give the hotel a 3-4 star review based on that experiencewere it not for the ending as now outlined. Then the chaos! Shortly before we were due to leave there was a genuine fire alarm. No one from the hotel provided any support at all and no one seemed to be in control of the incident. A fellow guest, with severe walking difficulties, was left to be helped by fellow guests on the stairs then no one identified themselves as being a fire Marshall once outside. Equally no one seemed to know what to do when we said we were leaving. Unacceptable all round and unsafe.
• johnhp702 (8/5): Do not be fooled - Do not be fooled by the appearance of this hotel, yes it does look a little bit shabby outside and the inside may need a little TLC but a good night sleep can be had at a very reasonable price and the breakfast is well worth investing in.

Premier inn you need to do better! - A very tired hotel in need of some TLC, heating in the bedroom didn't work, Staines on the chair seat cushion and just generally gruby all round. The adjoining restaurant was a tale of two halves, the evening meal was very average and the service from the bar staff was lacking, on the flip side the breakfast was really good and the lady on duty was very attentive and super helpful, the staff from the night before could do with taking a leaf out of her book!

• susaneZ3003AD (10/5): Ideal for a short break - Nothing wrong with this place, great location, room clean and comfortable, friendly staff. The cleaners don’t come in your room, unless you ask. We needed bins emptied and toilet paper and a fresh towel, we asked the nice young man who was cleaning and he did it straight away. All you need to do is speak up. Breakfast was nice, good choice and as much as you want. Tea, coffee, milk for your room available near reception to get when you want. Perfect for a short break and would stay again.👍

All Staff are friendly and helpful. If you see a bad review from this place then they must be hard to please hahaha. Will continue to eat here and premier inn is usually my choice when booking a night anywhere.
• K1041BCdebt (10/5): Not so hidden, hidden gem - Been going to various premier inn breakfasts further a field but was suggested to try this one. It did not disappoint. The breakfast was great. Fruit was fresh and hot and cold items were on point - including the poached eggs (which are made to order). Nathan was lovely and helped with ensuring my car was registered for the car park so no surprise tickets. All in all a great visit.

• shelleyn673 (4/5): Most disappointing Premier Inn stay - It was the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. There was no lift and I was on the second floor, not easy with bags at my age. I was told to let the reception know before 12 the next day if I wanted my room cleaned, I told them as I checked in at about 21:30 on the Friday that I wanted the room done the next day, but still it was not done. At £100+ per night it is the least that could have been done. There was a ghastly synthetic smell that was obviously covering something nasty.
• 697chrissyb (6/5): good location - We have stayed at many primer inn hotels over the years this one is no different We arrived to no one being on the reception desk as we could hear a conversation in the back we rang the bell and someone did come don't know who but she seemed nice enough we were not asked if we wanted to book breakfast and wasn't told you have to book it over at the restaurant the room was clean and had everything we needed as we were there for comic con in Farnborough the next morning we asked at the reception desk for our room to be cleaned and then went over for breakfast which we payed asked if i could have some vegetarian sausages which the lady said she would order we started eating and i noticed that my sausages hadn't come we asked the lady who said she forgot and apologised they eventually came lol after we come back from a great day we found that our room had not been clean dirty cups bed not maded ect my hubby went to ask why this hadn't been done the person on the desk thought it had been done unsure why not ? we did get some clean cups in the end only thing was my hubby after eating breakfast had a bit of an upset stomach not sure if it was breakfast or not ? the hotel is in a good location but unsure if we will return as we have stayed at better
• C6634USstephaniec (10/5): Amazing poached eggs - My friend and me have been visiting the branch at Redhill for the buffet breakfast but was advised this was also available at epsom south. We ventured here as its more local and it didn't disappoint. Had lovely poached eggs and the food was nice and hot. Loved the fact it included coffee and juice. Will definitely return. The manager Nathan was really friendly and made us feel very welcome, he also talked my friend through entering her carparking details. Can't wait to return very soon. Love the fact aswel the currently run a offer where kids can eat for free I belive with a adults meal which will work out even better when I bring the kids.

Whilst the hotel itself appears tired, the staff and front of house make up for this! The food both breakfast and evening was superb - credits to the chefs!! And can tell that they put their heart into it. Will return!

There are shops local and a massive supermarket only a 5 min drive away! The rooms are pristine and amazing value, the hotel itself is quiet enough to hear a pin drop in the corridors, I got the best nights sleep in the bed it’s so comfortable!

• cosmic896 (8/5): Good Stay Again - I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and although not the best I have always found the staff to be ultra helpful and friendly. I was checked in by Charlotte who I have met before and who nothing seems to much trouble for, especially as I am a really fussy guest. Good stay again thanks.

It was very hot in the room but there were already 2 fans in the room so this must already be a problem that the hotel is aware about. Good to see a solution. Great location to visit family we have nearby. Negatives - large orange/red stain on the bottom bed sheet. The cleaner could have certainly spotted this when making the bed. This is why it doesn’t get a full mark for cleanliness. No decaf in the tea tray. Not sure if they have stopped this but as I’m pregnant I couldn’t have a hot drink in the room in the morning, a little let down.
• rosalynf214 (2/5): Dusty Disappointment - We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the room. From the moment I walked in, it was clear it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Dusty skirting boards, dusty lights in lamps, dusty fans and that’s just the start of it. We moved the bed to suit our family needs and it was clear the bed had not been moved in YEARS. The thick layer of dust, dead moths and insects was not acceptable. The bathroom was relatively clean however the soap dispenser was covered in mould. The hotel promised a deep clean would take place whilst we were out the next day. This did not happen. They gave us new towels (with an addition of a long black hair), emptied the bins and sprayed some air freshener. The soap was still mouldy, the dust still covered the floor and the skirtings etc. We were moved rooms to find the exact same, dirty dusty skirtings, light fittings fans the lot. Only goes to show is every room like this? The receptionists we dealt with were lovely and really tried to help, however with a fully booked hotel one night, and then a late return the next night there was not much to be done. For the price paid, this is completely unacceptable. A hotel room should feel clean, safe, and welcoming, but this one felt neglected and dirty. I would not recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made.
• LucilleRoseF (4/5): Cheap and can see why. - I've stayed at many premier inns and always thought they was quite pleasant. This was cheaper than a travelodge so thought we got a bargain and now I can see why haha! Stayed in room 10, woke up to toilet water all over the bathroom that had somehow leaked. Was rubbish under our bed. Constant banging and walking around upstairs and men sleeping in reception. Would not stay here again.

• pbell35 (10/5): It has been a good base camp - The location has fulfilled our need for a base for our travels within Hampshire and beyond. It is within easy reach of London where our next leg of the trip will begin. The staff are friendly and were able to solve our laundry problem from the previous fortnight of travelling. Laundrettes are few and far between in the UK and require coins which can be hard to come by in this plastic currency age. The room was well priced and adequate for recovering from a day's worth of exploring. The Monkey Puzzle restaurant was next door and served breakfast and dinner.
• chrisasi71 (2/5): Baking room with no air con. Awful nights sleep - I had one of the worse nights sleep ever in a hotel room. Our hotel room did not have air conditioning . It had a desk fan and a pedestal fan. The night we stayed was very hot and found it very difficult to sleep. I find it appalling that this hotel did not have air conditioning , it was baking and uncomfortable in our room. Other points were the USB charging port next to our bed were not working. Our bedsheets had stains on them. There are no lifets in this hotel, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. We had booked a deal which had room and dinner and breakfast included . However there were certain exclusions on the drinks.. ie only 2 brands of beer and house red. No where at all in our booking did it list the exclusions for the meal. The restuarent (brewyers fayre) had a tacky dated interior which look in need of some renovation. We had to order our food from the bar and the waitress got confused a few times especially when we wanted to subsitute chips and onions rings for salad when ordering the steak. It said on the menu that you can do that but the waitress didnt know the menu and was looking baffled! The food for dinner was good and enjoyable as was breakfast. They only had 1 coffee machine which took ages to make a coffee and had to be stopped twice to take coffee grounds out and then add milk, making it more slower! I am throughly annoyed that in this day and age and with competitor hotels such as Travelodge fitting rooms with Air Con, that Premier Inn cant do this. I had a terrible nights sleep and this afffected my enjoyment of the British Motor Show. This is not the first time ive had a bad experience staying in a Premier Inn hotel but certainly now , i will avoid staying in a Premier Inn Hotel because they provide poor quality rooms and terrrible service. Their buidlings look quite run down and dated.

• Mwood789 (4/5): Poor overall hotel, wouldnt recommend - Poor outdated hotel that lacked cleanliness and also the rooms were uncomfortably hot, yet the corridor was cool. Only positive was staff were friendly
• L6162FMleons (2/5): Dont stay in hot weather - Book somewhere else in the summer or when its hot Rooms very warm, hot aircon and cant open windows waste of money, no sleep at all Room fine, staff fine, parking fine
• Scott (4/5): - Staff was working crazy hard but they were way understaffed. Hard to get help at front desk. Two towel for three people. No tissues. Shower curtain did not fit. Way over priced.

• heatherbV4934UA (10/5): So patient and helpful - Charlotte and her manager were so helpful. We accidentally undercooked our stay by 2 nights. Even though they couldn’t reach us, they kept our room and extended our stay for us when we returned late at night - all with a cheerful attitude.

• jo4nne (10/5): 5 star service by the fantastic Charlotte - On arriving at premier inn west we were greeted by a lovely lady called Charlotte. Her friendly welcome was most welcome after a long journey in the car. Charlotte went above and beyond to facilitate my needs and was only to happy to help. Charlotte is a credit to your business and made my trip a pleasant stay - thank you Charlotte

• sangjo (6/5): 장단점이 있었음 - 숙박시설의 위치와 짐 보관 서비스는 매우 좋았지만 카펫환경에서 환기가 되지않는 룸은 공기질에 예민한 나에겐 매우 좋지않았음 복도 곳곳에 먼지가 너무 많이 쌓여있어서 더더욱 편안함을 느끼기에 아쉬웠음 스코트랜드 숙소중 룸에서 유일하게 물이 제공되지 않았음 적은 인원으로 많은 객실을 관리하는거 같아 체크인도 청소도 조금 아쉬웠음
• April (4/5): Convenient Location but Dirty Room - Room didn’t look like it had been cleaned or vacuumed in a while. Only one towel for showering was provided when room was booked for two people. Security seems incredibly lax, they gave us baggage tickets but didn’t bother to check them when we picked up our luggage. Location was relatively convent.
• Q5620WWwilliame (4/5): Too hot to stay - The rooms were too hot and could have done with a portable air conditioners. I had to check out a day earlier due to the unbearable conditions of the room. On the Saturday, the restaurant closed and the beer garden closed too. There was no where to hang out and we're forced into the baking rooms. I couldn't stay and had to leave.

• kaya2702 (6/5): AVOID DURING HEATWAVES! - Stayed for two nights during the hot weather. The room was unbearable as there was no aircon, just a couple of hand fans which just pushed around hot air. On the second night we actually went and slept in the car for a few hours as it was actually cooler than the room. However, that said, Charlotte, the receptionist, could not do enough for us; she was very friendly and kind and could not apologise enough for the non-existent wifi and lack of air conditioning - all clearly nothing to do with her at all. Lovely young lady and an asset to your hotel. Wifi was non existent, as already mentioned, as was the phone signal, so that was fun. The room itself was basic but ok for our needs, decent shower, bath, etc. Monkey Puzzle pub was great, lovely staff and a nice large garden to enjoy your ice cold beer. Food was OK for a pub chain - ping food - reasonably priced for what we got. Sort yourselves out, Premiere Inn, it’s 2025 and you should have decent FREE wifi for your guests as well as air conditioning… all this climate change and stuff we’re constantly told about… 🙄
