• Belfast-Will1975 (2/5): Tired hotel with construction work ongoing. - Very poor experience of staying in the Premier Inn Haydock. Paid for an early check in, to be giving a room next to where a Pneumatic drill was being used. Shaking the entire room and making rest impossible. Had to be moved room due to the incessant noise and vibrating room. Had I know this hotel had construction work ongoing, I would NOT have booked it. All in all, not impressed.

• U3276YYcharlesb (10/5): Perfect overnight for T2 morning flights - Perfect overnight accommodation before flying out from terminal 2 next morning. We booked the premier plus room with food package and the evening meal was excellent as was the buffet breakfast the following morning. All staff are polite and courteous, and the ambiance is nice. We didn’t take the shuttle bus, but used the public service bus 105 stops right outside which goes straight to the terminals and is much cheaper! Overall highly recommended, we’d definitely stay again

The bed was so comfortable, normally I don’t sleep well in strange places but no problem here . The breakfast was well worth it , and the cocktails we had in the evening were excellent.

• mastermixer1 (10/5): BEWARE CAR PARK FEE’s - Lovely hotel , like the way there’s a big entrance and walkway with bars and restaurants, gives a feel of not being in a hotel , food was good and drinks . The room was good , clean and tidy and had a good sleep, due to the comfy bed. Only bad thing was turning up and having to pay a large car park few for the car , wasn’t happy . As nothing was mentioned when booking .

• Tour796485 (8/5): Breakfast start time - Initially informed on website that breakfast started at 6:30. As we were leaving next morning at 6:30 we passed on meal deal. However the amazing server Radhska corrected this incorrect start time and we were delighted to be able to take the meal deal after all. This needs to be corrected on site and receptionists need to be informed too. Much better start time. Thank you Radhska.

• Gossipgirl69 (8/5): Very nice, location great, Room really good .... but ...... - I had booked an accessible room which was located near the font of the hotel which was great. Very lovely room, spacious , however, the couple above the room made so much noise, moving furniture, scraping things on the floor, stomping on the floor from the time myself and my hubby arrived about 5:00 pm till 01:30 am in the morning. We complained to the manager who came to the room with security several times and heard the noises himself and understood our concerns and both the manager and security spoke to the couple several times throughout the night. They apologised but they continued making noise. The manager offered to move us to another room about 11:00 pm but we felt no as we liked the room we were in and why should we move ?, if anyone should move, it should be the couple above as they acknowledged that they were making noise. The staff were as helpful as they could be but the building needs better soundproofing as you could hear every stomping footstep, dragging of suitcases, moving of furniture etc. The only other thing which is a concern is crossing the main room to get to the hotel from the bus across the road. There is NO official crossing in front or near the hotel. The nearest traffic crossing left or right to get to the other side to where the hotel is based is a good 10 min walk. As someone with a disability, it was terrible as it started to rain and walking that 10 mins to enter the hotel was awful. There is an "unofficial" crossing across the road in front of the hotel which would be a perfect but it's a real risky crossing as you have to wait until the traffic dies down and run across. I don't know how this can be managed better but it needs to be addressed that not everyone drives to the hotel and that adjustments needs to be done. The hotel itself with location to the airport by public transport is excellent- bus journey to and from is approx 10 mins and cost around £1.75 each way - compared to the airport shuttle bus which is £6.00 each way. The restaurant at the hotel was good and the food was ok, not brilliant but good. My overview is that I would definitely book the hotel again, its good value for money , location great and lovely staff. But ....need to make crossing the road from public bus stop more accessible and the soundproofing the flooring / Ceiling needs to be seriously looked into. Apart from that I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both relaxing evenings and lively gatherings. We had Alisha as our server and she was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure we all felt welcome and well cared for. The menu features a great variety of dishes and the drinks selection is impressive, with creative cocktails and a wide range of wines and beers. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely be returning.

Swindon. - It was an extremely great experience with the buffet morning breakfast the dishes were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully..we would highly say thank you for the fantastic staff Gizel .Leslie . From checking in , to size of bedroom , to comfort of bed, - all was perfect. The hotel had a busy vibe downstairs, but the bedroom was very quiet. There is a phone in reception to book a taxi for the next day and all worked well.

Staff very antentive with a genuine interest in feedback - so freindly - and over the last two days, a special shout out to Jack and Alisha waiting on, as well as a number of staff of whose names I didnt get. Ive been at the hotel for the last 10 weeks; ive had my fill of pasteries, banana and apples (lol) whislt renovations take place, so in the next 5 week I have left, I shall be working through the menus (thanks to work) in a bid to catch up! Keep the standards up, it will work in your favour! And another big shout out to all the staff working within the hotel during my long stay. EVERY ONE of them have been so good, so friendly and overall a pleasure to have gotten know.

On the second night I was staying (Friday 7th Nov) the person in the room above me decided to start stomping around late at night and didn't stop for hours - have no idea what he was doing. Went down to reception and the guy on the desk (can't remember his name but he was young with black hair) was really helpful. He gave me another room along the corridor and I slept great after that. So all the staff I met on my stay were fantastic.

The staff are what make this Premier Inn stand out from the rest; attentive and passionate about their jobs, you are always greeted with a smile. Hotel and rooms are very clean, complimentary breakfast was adequate and there is a mcdonalds next door for anyone wanting a bit more whilst the building work is going on. Special shoutout to Charlotte for her suggestions on where to eat whilst the restaurant is closed, and willingness to help with our queries.

There were also lots of places in the lobby to relax and read. I did find the hallway carpets dated and stained and there was no small fridge in the room. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

The area isn't great for outings but that isn't what we were there for so we didn't care. The hotel made sure we didn't need to leave for what we needed anyway. Well done, Premier.

There is an ‘ambient’ light behind the headboard. When I turned it off it blinked every 15 seconds ALL NIGHT (also reported). Nice hotel but ask not to stay in room 11 if you want a shower or sleep.

Currently undergoing some renovations so hopefully the outside will be painted which it needs. Nel and Jaz on the front desk are wonderful...really helpful and friendly. I use a lot of Premier Inns for work and this has to be one of the best. Highly recommended.
