- glennmQ658XX (10/5): Friendly start to new career - Patrick Mabel and Steph were very friendly and helpful .Started with a new company so they made it easy for us all,Nice breakfasts and good service
- Scenic09278433924 (10/5): Amazing stay, great staff - We stayed to attend an event in the city and Premier Inn was so handy being only a short walk to the city centre. We arrived prior to the check in time and the girl on reception was super pleasant and offered us early check-in at a cost of €15 or storage for our bags, as we were not in a rush at that point we decided to leave our bags and after a drink go and explore for a while. The bar was lovely and bright and the young man behind it was extremely friendly and gave us great advise on bars to go to after our event ends
Breakfast was very tasty and the team were very approachable
- johnfA3282PK (8/5): TV fixed rapidly. - Fahad fixed the TV in about five minutes. Really appreciate the prompt service. Well done. Appreciate you taking time out to attend.
- silversh0es (2/5): Avoid - We use premier inn whenever we can. Staff, cleanliness and of course the mattresses. This time was a mistake. Some staff members stand out as great: Paidraigh who booked us in, and a Spanish staff-member whose name I don’t know. Beyond booking in, it was a truly horrible experience.
- Nomad64956342928 (10/5): 🌟 Excellent Stay – Outstanding Service from Duty Manager Rashme ❤️ - I recently stayed at the Croydon Town Centre Premier Inn, and I want to share the wonderful experience I had during check-in. I arrived feeling extremely stressed and tired, but Duty Manager Rashme completely turned my day around.
✨ First of all, Rashme is an absolute superstar for Premier Inn!
Credit to the management she was literally everywhere: helping in the restaurant, supporting housekeeping, assisting at reception… wow! 👏 She’s a true diamond for the company 💎 and represents the brand with pride and passion.
She welcomed me with a beautiful smile 😊, and with her incredibly kind nature, she delivered excellent customer service from the very start. Her sweet, gentle way of speaking and her naturally shy, caring personality instantly made me feel comfortable. It’s hard to explain how much her warm attitude meant to me at that moment she genuinely lifted my mood and made my entire day brighter. ❤️❤️❤️
It’s rare to meet someone whose positive energy leaves such a lasting impression. Premier Inn is truly lucky to have such a responsible, kind, and dedicated manager on their team. I sincerely appreciate her effort, professionalism, and the heartfelt way she interacts with guests.
🌸 Thank you, Rashme, for making my stay so lovely.
🌟 Highly recommended! ❤️❤️
- missc802 (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Shining Gem in Croydon – and Teresa is the Superstar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Premier Inn Croydon throughout October and November, and I just have to say – this hotel truly became a home away from home.
From the moment I arrived, the team were warm, welcoming and genuinely caring. The rooms were clean, comfortable and peaceful, and I always felt safe any time I needed help, the staff were kind, patient and happy to assist.
But I have to give a very special shout-out to Teresa. ✨
She is, without a doubt, the superstar of Premier Inn Croydon.
Teresa’s kindness, warmth made such a difference to my stay. She doesn’t just do her job – she goes above and beyond, and you can really feel that she cares about the guests. Her smile, energy and reassuring presence brightened even the tougher days.
Please know that we are officially part of Teresa’s fan club now! 💜lol
And I hope that every time she reads this review, it makes her smile and reminds her of my smile ;) I might come in for breakfast again to count up for the days I missed haha.
To all the staff at Premier Inn Croydon – thank you for being amazing. To Teresa thank you for being unforgettable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Croydon 🌟
- harijangg (10/5): Excellent service - Room was very good and service at reception and restaurant was very excellent staff was v.good service was with a smile specially TERESA'S SO JOLY GIRL THANKS only one complaint with happy hour offer when u order any beer NO STOCK NORE CANS YOU EXPECT US TO BUY EXPENSIVE BEER
- X4494RDdavidf (8/5): Good stopover for airport - I'm glad that this Premier Inn does not charge for parking. It's a short drive from Gatwick and set in a fairly quiet location. That said there is not much nearby, so it's an ideal airport stopover hotel rather than a getaway location. The room was clean and the heating worked well. Our only disappointment was that there were no water bottles in the room and no fridge. The value for money was fair.
- jasminev295 (10/5): Premier Inn - Hotel is a bit run down, but room is lovely and spacious. And breakfast is good, the staff at breakfast are so friendly and welcoming! Teresa deserves a day off! She’s been here every morning I have and is fantastic!!
- PHK65 (10/5): City Centre base camp - Great city centre location and off a main road. Bars, restaurants and attractions all within a short walk. Public transport is really cheap if you want to go further afield.
Friendly staff and generally a quiet but pleasant feel in bar/reception area. Room was a good size and the rain shower was a pleasant surprise. My room was facing inwards so really quiet (but wonder if the courtyard might get busy in summer months)?
Not the cheapest I’ve ever stayed in but was competitive with other local hotels and travelling solo is always more expensive. Buffet breakfast was good value.
Overall you know what to expect with Premier Inn and I was very happy with this stay.
- simonghughes (2/5): Great location for train station, but rubbish service and customer care is non existent. - We had been emailed by Premier inn to say that the lift had limited access which we thought we might have to wait for a lift. Actually there was no working lift at all.
Being elderly and waiting for a knee replacement far from ideal.
No heating in the rooms at all the heating control was dead and the staff just said it was a glitch in the system. We companied every morning and every even but no offer of a portable heater etc, staff didn't care despite it being the coldest days of the year (17-20th Nov).
On the Wednesday night at 9.00pm we went into the bar /restaurant for a drink to be told by a girl near the bar that the bar was closed, they were short staffed and with that she disappeared slamming the door behind her.
The two good points was the location, 2 minutes to the station and the breakfasts.
I actually asked one member of staff if they were shutting/ closing down as I have never experienced such awful customer care in such a big chain.
- J9115VIdanj (4/5): Lots of trouble getting room key to work - Very frustrating experience. We arrived very tired at 11:30pm on Friday, used the self-service check-in machine to create a room key, then headed to our room on the 4th floor, but the key didn't work. Went back down to reception and found a staff member who tried again to create a key, but after going back to 4th floor it still didn't work. Staff member let us into the room with his key and said to resolve it in the morning.
Next day the key still didn't work, so I asked another staff member. Again they created a new key, but again it still didn't work. They sent another staff member to let us into the room and said a maintenance man 'might' come and fix the door, otherwise they would switch our room. At midday on Saturday the key started working, although nobody had informed us that anything had been fixed.
All in all a very frustrating experience which caused us a lot of headaches and delays to our trip.
- 48mirh (10/5): My experience with employee Teresa very good. Teresa is a asset for Premier Inn Teresa mut be promoted for kitchen area - Location great Atmosphere very quite and good Room very good and nice rook clean value affordable Cleanliness very cleaned room and break fast area. Noise, noiseless service is very excellent Amenities very good no complaints
- 135shameerr (10/5): Clean and wonderfull - I had a wonderful stay in this room. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my visit. The highlight of my experience was the excellent service from the staff, especially Rashmi. She was incredibly helpful and guided us with anything we needed, always with a warm and welcoming attitude. Her support truly made our stay easier and more enjoyable.
- 581cherryd (10/5): Amazing - I had an excellent experience thanks to Rashmi, the Duty Manager. Her attention to detail, kindness, and commitment to providing exceptional service stood out from the moment I arrived. She handled every request efficiently and with genuine care. Rashmi is a true asset to the hotel, and I deeply appreciate her dedication.
- kellywL6654LK (10/5): Great service! - Had a great experience so far. Had breakfast this morning- food was great but service was even better. Our hostess / server Theresa was having a busy and later chaotic morning due to a guest braking a glass, but she was still super friendly and helpful through it all. Highly recommend getting the breakfast while you are at the hotel!
- noelK76 (10/5): Pleasantly surprised. - First visit to a Premier inn. This hotel was easily accesible from Gatwick by public transport and a short walk. A polite and efficient receptionist welcomed me to the premises, a great start. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I could not find fault anywhere. A pleasant young man on reception greeted me the following morning, confirming my belief that Premier inn value excellent customer services. My two night stay was outstanding. I can wholly recommend this fine hostelry and its friendly staff. I'll be back, Sláinte.
- I4784MOteresab (6/5): A short stay - There seems to be a lack of staff in this Premier inn. Check in took a long time, as it was busy. It appears , the same staff member works on reception and the bar and restaurant. The hotel is becoming a bit worn . The lounge/foyer area was too cold , to sit comfortably for any length of time. The staff were all very pleasant. I would return, if I got it for a good price, as it is in a good location.
- iangM7276JU (10/5): Great place to stay for trips into London. - Great location ..2 minutes walk to East Croydon Station. So easy for trains into London . Perfect for our sightseeing break Although there was a problem with the Air Conditioning System and the lifts, we had a very good experience. Made possible by the nice friendly staff..Mabel on reception..And Teresa in the restaurant, who helped us enjoy a such a great breakfast..Which set us up perfectly for the day . Well done to them especially..So all in all a nice clean convenient and friendly hotel..and great value for money.
- L5210JGamandae (2/5): Staff need training on being human - Good news first. We had a terrific sleep and thoroughly enjoyed 12noon check out time. Cannot fault the room in any way. Location was also great for us spending the evening in Crystal Palace and close to the train station to get us there and home. Everything was clean and in working order (in the room).
Bad news and the reason for this review. Staff working there were completely incompetent. As we arrived we were told by other guests that the lift wasn't working so had to take the stairs. As we checked in using the self check in another guest came in telling staff that someone was stuck in the lift. The member of staff didn't seem to be bothered so we asked him if someone was actually stuck in the lift to which he replied "Apparently" and said he had knocked on each floor but hadn't heard anything back. I proceeded to go to the lift (on the same floor as reception!) where I heard someone moving around and asked if they were ok and needed help. A woman replied saying she was there with her child and that she had been there for over an hour with no correspondence with staff or anyone else (she later said she didn't want to bang or make too much noise of fear of scaring her child). I went and told the member of staff who said that there was an engineer on their way (this was a Saturday and we all know how long engineers can take at the best of times) We suggested he called emergency services as they had been there for quite a while and there was a child involved. His response was that Premier Inn's policy meant they could not call emergency services on her behalf and that if she wanted she would need to do it herself. We took it upon ourselves (as the staff seemed to have no interest in conversing with the woman) to ask her if she wanted us to call them. She replied yes as she had been trying to call for help for some time but had no signal (as she was in the lift). Within 10 minutes the fire department arrived to help her out of the lift. It is worth noting as well that the second member of staff on duty that day had gone on her lunch break, who we met waiting outside for the fire engine. As she came back in we asked her if she knew about the woman in the lift and she replied "yes, an engineer has been called" - if it was me working that day no way would I have taken my lunch break before the situation had been handled. It is absolutely baffling that this so called policy meant that a woman and her child could have been stuck in the lift for hours on end without toilet or potentially even a drink and by the sounds of it not one of the members of staff had been to check on them or reassure them that they were doing anything about the situation. The entire time we were waiting on emergency services and even when they were there to handle the situation, there was not one member of staff present. The lack of empathy from the staff was horrible and I would honestly not trust them if there was a serious emergency such as a fire or similar to handle the situation. Staff training is needed at this Premier Inn as our society's common sense seems to have gone down the drain.
To sum up, lovely room, do not use the lift. PS. I sincerely hope the woman involved received some kind of compensation or at least an apology.
- MarkP4319 (10/5): Top breakfast - Great service from the restaurant manager Teresa. Efficient and hard working.
Lift was broken and room was tidy. Have stayed here before and will stay again.
- EmilyJane1965 (2/5): Bad nights stay - 2 lifts both out use. Reception is on 1st floor. Mgr on duty wasn't much help. Room on 2nd floor was only cold air blowing out. This is all on 17th Nov
- Bryn-Hughes (10/5): Value for money and good location - Good location, friendly staff and usual clean comfortable rooms.
Group of us stayed for a nearby tournament and all said it was value for money with a good price.
Help yourself breakfast with lots of coffee to recover from the night before.
Friendly helpful staff, Teresa & Rasmee looked after us until we recovered🤣
- Departure300163 (6/5): Not as good as previous visits!! - Location is great for getting into central London with east Croydon station around the corner it’s very convenient. I have stayed here many times over the last few years but this time it did not meet my expectations, firstly both lifts were out of order, one due to a fire and the other one not functioning properly, so customers were expected to get up to their floors by the stairs, which is pretty hard going when u have a suitcase. We checked ourselves in at the reception, which to my surprise the machines were working and it was easy and quick to master. We went up to our room which was on the 2nd floor, on entering we noticed that the spare bed had not been made up and there was no bedding available for it, we also noticed that there was only 2 cups instead of 3!! We went and found a member of staff who brought up bedding etc and offered to make the bed, he was very attentive and efficient, sorry I didn’t get his name but obviously this had been overlooked by other staff!! We also had to go and ask about the air conditioning as it wasn’t coming on, a member of staff rebooted it and to our luck it came on!! We were allowed to leave our luggage the next morning while we went out shopping, which is a good bonus, we were greeted by Teresa, who was attentive, bubbly and seem efficient. Premier inn is reasonably priced for a stay in London, but this time it has let us down, think they need to make sure that the hotels are functioning properly before taking bookings, it does actually say one of the lifts isn’t working on their site but not that both lifts are out of order x
- Inspire09371710628 (10/5): Excellent - Everything was excellent. All staff, especially Mark, were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Everything was clean, quiet and comfy, in the rooms and the hotel. Beds in particular were so comfy. Food was amazing, great selection and fresh, both dinner and breakfast. Perfect rooms for our group family stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
- leebeee (6/5): I would go elsewhere - This hotel is generally bad, lifts occasionally work, rooms are ok and at there normal standers, I would like to mention how good some of the staff are especially Theresa and Joseph,
- 639archiew (10/5): Business stay - Teresa was clearly very busy but was professional and very good at her job, also looking to instil this in the rest of her team making sure jobs are done properly from the get go.
- Leanne0728 (10/5): Fantastic stay - Had a fantastic weekend with family. Great location.
Hotel clean and comfortable, very welcoming.
Staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Mark, Ross, Miguel, Padraig and Mariana, made to feel very welcome.
Deserve recognition, thank you all.
- Nicobocker (4/5): Very poor quality and awful breakfast - Very low quality hotel.
The room was just fine, not very clean and the bathroom…. A dirty curtain in the shower, no toilet brush…
Direct view on opposite building…
I had the worst breakfast experience in an hotel of this category.
The breakfast is just poor and very poor quality.
I will never go back in this hotel and don’t recommend it.
- P_G_Gretton (2/5): Disappointing - We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and offered free parking on their website. Unfortunately we received a parking fine for £100 afterwards and despite being a guest Premier Inn were unwilling and unable to do anything about it.
We arrived late at the hotel and registered my car on a tablet as instructed by the receptionist. We had a very uncomfortable stay due to excessive heat and being put on the top floor despite my request in advance for a lower floor. The room stank and there is no breakfast facility at the hotel. We departed the following morning.
Two weeks later I received a PCN notice from Civil Enforcement for £100 for illegally parking. I emailed the hotel directly but they replied that they do not own the parking and the contract for enforcement was with the Parson Pig next door. Neither Premier Inn or Parson Pig have access to the car management system. I replied that both the PCN and the notices in the car park have Premier Inn's name and that they have a responsibility to their clients as stated on the web to provide free parking. I also stated that the intention of the enforcement was to deter people from parking who were not guests and not to punish bonafide clients. I did not get a reply from the hotel.
I appealed to Civil Enforcement and showed my invoice with the hotel. I stated that I had registered my car on the tablet. They rejected my appeal on the grounds that they have no record of my registration. I can only assume that there was a break in the WiFi connection as OpenReach often does internet maintenance late on weekend evenings. Civil enforcement made it clear that if I didn't pay the fine I would be threatened with legal action and that I would have very little chance of winning.
I contacted Premier Inn guest relations but they claim no responsibility and that I should take up the matter with the owner of the car park. After repeated requests I managed to get in contact with the manager who was also looking after other hotels. He was initially sympathetic and admitted that even his staff received fines. He was unable to do anything about the fine and eventually refused to reply to my emails.
This episode has taken three months and dozens of emails. There are several other reviews with the same issue. What was most disappointing was that Premier Inn accepts no responsibility for a car park it offers for its guests.
Be aware you run the risk of receiving a PCN and that the parking registration system sometimes doesn't work. Don't expect Premier Inn to help you.
- 224darrent (8/5): Good place to stay - This is a good premier inn.
Staff on the counter were lovely.
Everything worked and was very clean.
TV remote hard to read as was very old I guess, but that’s really minor.
Great stop off before our flight the next day
- ruthbQ6849HL (10/5): Good value in city centre - Group of 9 of us for birthday trip. Hotel was very clean, friendly staff and great location. Beds were comfy, shower was excellent and rooms were spacious. Would recommend and would stay again.
- 666Rocky (8/5): Good hotel - Great location and good breakfast selection with friendly staff. Would recommend.
Deducted a star for finding a previous occupants sock behind curtain in the room upon checking in ( tues aft), requested it to be removed but wasnt bothered about room being cleaned for a 2 day visit - guess what it was still there when we left ( thurs am) .
Not something i expect from any hotel - chain or independent !!
- JetSet_Glamour (10/5): ORK - • Central location right on the riverside
• Laid back and no fuss atmosphere
• Rooms clean and comfortable
• Hairdryer in room
• Very secure
• Staff efficient
• Relaxed restaurant with excellent value meal deal option
- eoin_192 (2/5): Charged for cancelling - Terrible experience with this hotel, avoid. When we discovered that the parking was so far away I tried to cancel via Booking.com. Reached out to the hotel directly on various levels but we were fobbed off. it was impossible for mobility reasons for us to stay but were charged for cancelling despite attempting to explain our situation. I realise they are a big chain but their customer service is so poor. Reception in Cork weren't answering and central reservations sent me from pillar to post and laid the blame on booking.com, yet it was the hotel that invoiced me and charged my card.
- Merrybridge (10/5): Good location & staff - Stayed for one night. Check in was straightforward with a competent friendly young guy on reception. Had a room overlooking the river which was lovely. Parked in Q Park which is discounted by the Premier Inn which I think saved us 25-30€. The car park is about a 10 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast was as you would expect, we went for the continental. They do need another coffee machine though, one isn’t enough for a busy breakfast time. Staff at breakfast were very efficient. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a good location.
- dionne (10/5): - Close to amenities, walkable to major toirist sites. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable.
- Guide52080672281 (10/5): Short Stop Visit - This was a one night trip to visit the city. I needed a bed, shower and convenient location and this hotel met all I needed. I didn't eat there but made use of the vending machines for snacks and coffee available in room. The room was spotless and comfortable and got a great nights sleep in the wonderful bed. No complaints at all. First class
- Q2737WXmichaels (10/5): Premier inn hotel cork - The hotel was clean, good looking building, very comfortable and nice reception area, booking in was easy, pay at hotel ,room was comfortable, great shower and bath, comfortable bed, good value for money, very relaxed atmosphere in hotel
- sharonlyons2012 (10/5): Warm welcome - Very attentive staff. Warm welcome by Jay and the team. Could do enough for us. Nice clean, comfortable room, as always. Thank you
- Shea (10/5): - The only complaint I would have is the parking situation! We were told the hotel had an agreement with a parking garage nearby that gave a discount on guest parking. The garage was an 8 minute walk away, which isn’t too bad, but inconvenient if you forgot something in your car. The morning my family and I left for the airport at 4am, the garage was coned off everywhere with no one working. To avoid being late for our flight, my husband moved all of the cones but then the arm wouldn’t lift to let us out. I eventually called the number for the garage I found on Google and a very nice lady helped us out. I would still very much stay here again, as the parking did not turn me away. Everything else was perfect! The place was beautiful, spotless, amazing staff and great bar! Very close to shopping and dining!
- Michael (2/5): - Snotty staff not empowered to deal w an electrical power blackout ( only their hotel, not felt by others) The hotel had not serviced their electric properly causing complete system collapse w no back-up generator. Their manager
- Joseph (8/5): - Parking is a nightmare here!! If you have a car don’t stay. They don’t have any spots to park and construction right out front. If you don’t it’s a great convenient place to stay.
- elizabethmB8836CH (10/5): Great weekend - In the centre near everywhere & walking distance to everywhere
Comfortable bed great breakfast comfortable reception
- Marianne669 (8/5): Great hotel for the price - This was a great stay for the price. I've stayed in all types of hotels throughout Ireland and this was specifically for the Cirk Folk Festival. The price was very affordable, the breakfast was separate from the room rate but was adequate and affordable. The room was very clean and spacious and quiet. It had everything I needed and refills of tea, etc were available. The bar was fine and opened til a decent hour. The lobby has plenty of sitting areas. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. I highly recommend this hotel.
- Relax52575395302 (10/5): Great value for the location - Stayed here for 3 nights during the Cork Folk Festival. Good price for the location, convenient to walk to shops or the Grand Parade. Very friendly staff. I was able to check in early for an extra 15€. Rooms are spacious, no wash cloths for those from the US, shower gel and hand wash provided. Beds are comfy, pretty firm. We got the full breakfast each day for another ~14€ and everything was good. LGBTQ friendly. The bar stays open fairly late too. Good value for the price.
- kenmred (10/5): 💯 stay here will definitely be back - Definitely will be back, perfect location, checking in was strictly at 3 which did create a small que. Not alot of storage but adequate for a single. Staff really nice & helpful. 13 50 for hotel buffet breakfast is ok... you would need a science degree to use the shower... this overall for the price is perfect.
- Colin (8/5): - Great location, only exception was the road work construction that limited access to the hotel and parking options
- Kelly (10/5): - Very nice place great breakfast definitely go back
- Louis (6/5): - The room was clean and tidy, very large but sparsely furnished likely because the room we were given is set up for wheelchair bound people. NOT the room shown on the Expedia site. There were emergency pull cords hanging from the ceiling next to the bed and in the bathroom as well as support rails everywhere, very off putting. The basin in the bathroom was at "wheelchair" height so had to virtually bend 90 degrees at the waist to rinse our teeth. There was no fridge, coffee making facilities, save for a jug and a couple of coffee and tea sachets. The bed was comfortable and large but the bed lamps were quite bizarre.. when you turned them off the bathrom light would come on. Had dinner in the restaurant one night. I ordered a grilled chicken breast with bacon, cheese and barbeque sauce. I got a very thin, dry, I think steamed piece of chicken which I'm certain was put under the griller to melt the cheese. The chicken had very thin, evenly spaced "grille lines"? I've never seen a pencil thin grille before. From memory cost some 20 euros.
The staff was accommodating and friendly but very few around.
When we were checking out, we asked about the room and were told that the rooms allocated to Expedia were all the same.
The hotel itself presents well and I should imagine that rooms booked direct are of a much higher standard. Had the rooms shown on expedia been an accurate representation of what we expected, we would have looked elsewhere or contacted the hotel directly.
- Kimberly (6/5): - There’s road construction on the very narrow street at the door of the hotel, so finding a spot to pull the car over to just check in was a little tricky. Then we learned that the parking garage was several blocks and across the river, so we checked our bags before parking the car. Once in the room, we realized we only had one set of towels. I went to the front desk to get towels and the staff person had me follow her to get towels. When there were no towels on the ground floor, we went up to a room on the first floor, and then on to the second floor before finding towels. Since our room was on the second floor, I asked the staff person to check our thermostat bc it didn’t seem to work. Sure enough, she confirmed it was broken and offered to adjust it from a central thermostat she could adjust. We aren’t familiar with Celsius and she wasn’t familiar with Fahrenheit, so we just had to suffer through a warm room with fixed windows. It really wasn’t clean either. Food wrapper under the bed, etc. One positive is that we were able to walk to a great area for dinner and drinks. Just not a great experience at the hotel though.
- Benedicta (10/5): - .
- Emilio (10/5): - We felt welcome as soon as we walked in! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and so helpful for my teenager getting used to Irish customs. Thank you, can't wait to return!
- Megan (10/5): - Nice property and centrally located. Great price and pretty room.
- Nicholai (10/5): - Leuk
- Jamie (10/5): - Great stay!
- Alison (10/5): - Overall, great place easy to get to minus the construction going on near the hotel
- Harrison Ross (10/5): - Dirty with butts all around outside of door. Excellent breakfast and also staff in keeping selection full. No ice machine for quests.
- HAROLD (8/5): - Good location for exploring the city. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- Leanne (8/5): - Happy with our stay. Location was convenient to everything. Fairly new hotel so everything was in good condition and clean. Only complaint was the 15 euro early check in charge. We just left our bags and came back later but it was 2:00 when we arrived so felt like if the room was ready it would have been better customer service to let us check in.
- Mark (6/5): - Did not get our room cleaned and were told we had to sign prior as noted at the entrance…this was not noted at the entrance.
- Peter (8/5): Very Good - Great location and comfortable room.
2 qualms with my stay - I asked for the room to be cleaned with new towels three days in a row and it wasn't done.
The other thing was that there are two levels of wifi, one free and one paid. the free wifi was essentially useless. I dont think it's appropriate to have to pay for wifi in 2025, it's a necessity.
- Anita (6/5): Disappointed...not premier..more like discount inn - Rooms not cleaned daily. You need to request this service. Clean towels unavailable the 2nd night. These must be requested at reception but limited supply No facecloths, no cream or milk for coffee in room. Thermostat automatically reset at 10 pm so room stiffling during the night.
- Laurel (10/5): Comfortable stay - Great staff, decent location, comfortable
- Michelle (8/5): - The staff were great! Breakfast was yummy and the surrounding areas had plenty of shopping, restaurants and sightseeing!
- juliet (8/5): - The hotel was incredibly helpful. Expedia was not. They double booked people so there wasn’t room at the hotel….and never tried to find me another booking. The contact numbers expedia provided for help didn’t work so I was left on my own trying to find accommodation. Expedia was horrible. Booking. Com has been great.
- tmm01 (6/5): A loud and eventful stay. Not a peaceful night before an early flight. - A hot and uncomfortable over night stay. There was no lift to the first floor, which meant as someone with mobility issues I had to struggle up stairs and down.
The room was a family room. Big and the usual premier inn decor.
Bed comfortable as ever, however there was no AC, just a fan in the room. The window could open slightly, but not enough to reduce the stifling heat. Having the fan on all
Night was the only option and this disturbed sleep.
The bathroom as ok, however when the light was switched on there was a loud mechanical sound from the fan - a loud and low whistle.
In the morning, I used the bathroom, and the toilet fell off the wall, meaning that I fell on the floor, which was incredibly difficult to get up from, with a toilet also topped over on the floor. The pipes had become disconnected, so unable to flush loo, as it would have spattered all over the bathroom floor.
Didn’t have breakfast, as an early start, but the evening meal at the adjoined pub was delicious.
So overall, not the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed in. Could do with some AC as an essential and hopefully they will fix the mechanics in the fan and get the plumbing sorted.
- Wendy (6/5): - Delays checking in
Although booked long in advance for a substandard room
- Brent (10/5): - The hotel and staff were both top notch. The construction at the front entrance of the hotel was disruptive. There is no area to park a car to unload luggage safely without blocking the street.
- Arlo (10/5): - Loved that they are LGBTQ friendly. Breakfast was tasty.
- Catherine (10/5): - Spotlessly clean room , nice and bright too. Can’t fault it . Very good !
- Brenda (10/5): - It was close to everything we wanted to go to.
- Brent (6/5): 4 days in Cork - Nicer and more modern than expected for a basic hotel. I never had the breakfast, but my wide did, and it was popular and good value. Only downgraded to 3 from 3.5-4 as wifi was out for our entire 4 days (and previous few which was unfortunate. But good lication and -1/2 the price.
- Timothy (10/5): - Construction at the area and parking was 15 to 20 minute walk.
- roland (2/5): - The Wi-Fi at this hotel has been down for a while after workers accidentally destroyed the cable outside. There is no indication from the hotel when it would be back up and may still be broken.
A hotel without Wi-Fi for three nights stay is almost as bad as no running hot water or functioning toilet.
Compensation was refused by the hotel and despite the valiantefforts of Expedia support, they have they have clearly refused to refund my money.
This is appalling customer service and completely unacceptable in 2025.
I suggest, if you’re thinking of staying at this hotel, especially in the next few days and weeks to ask about the Wi-Fi, which may still be broken
Stay somewhere else there are lots of alternatives!
- Carol (10/5): - Nice hotel close to everything. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff!
Clean rooms and we stored our luggage there ahead of check in. Would recommend!
- xuan lan (8/5): - Clean room, overall better than average but nothing special.
- Marcos (8/5): - Good Location.
- Costanza (8/5): - Camera pulita. Posizione centrale. Personale gentile e cortese
- Steven (10/5): - Only 6 min walk to main shopping area, they serve good food and have meal deals
- Celso (8/5): - Overall great but WiFi was down the entire week we were there. That aside I would book again the room was very spacious and modern.
Muitos pontos a serem melhorados.
- Mandy (4/5): - Didn't like the wait to check in at reception. They should have had someone else working if it gets that busy. Also, prior to arrival no information was given about where to park by the hotel, which was awful. We parked in the wrong one and had to pay around $100 cad dollars for less than 24 hours. Also, the parking lot was quite a walk from the hotel and it would have been the same distance if we parked in the one they wanted us to park in. Just very disappointing. Our least favorite hotel in our 2 week Ireland stay.
- Sisse kristine (8/5): - Friendly staff, nice breakfast and good drinks 😃 the bathroom wasn’t good.
- Alia (10/5): - Clean, quiet, comfortable & centrally located.
- Siobhan (8/5): - Great location, the construction was a bit confusing but we did manage okay
- Jennifer (4/5): - The room I reserved on Expedia was the not the same type of room that was reserved at the property. Expedia also indicated the room we reserved was suitable for 4 adults, the property agent said that rooms were only suitable for 2 adults even though we reserved a room with 3 beds. The room was also dirty, the shower had a brown substance on the walls and there were dirty socks left in a drawer.
