Guest Reviews
- YUKO (10/5): - 街中から少し遠く治安が良くないのではと少し心配していましたが、駅やバス停もすぐでスーパーもたくさんあり、快適に過ごしました
お部屋も街中より広いです
- Tenby (8/5): - Very comfortable and a nicely appointed room
- gmxh558 (8/5): Good location - Stayed here many times, comfortable and well situated for transport links. The new social is very good except for the bar, very limited range of drinks, no proper beers or ales, just poncy hipster drinks.
- mobciral (10/5): Good for the money - Friendly, predictable, comfy beds. Well placed for transport to central London, relatively cheap parking, you know what you’re getting with premier inn, this is one of the better ones, rooms are generally reasonably priced compared yo other options.
- 123terryo (10/5): Good nights sleep - Great location, very convenient for transport connections. Very comfortable bed. Great nights sleep had. Would not hesitate staying here again.
- W4873HOianp (10/5): A great stay. - We had a great stay in a comfortable and quiet room. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.
- B593IYmaryn (10/5): Nice - Best stay. Everything was good, clean rooms , great location and the staff is just amazing, very welcoming and friendly.
- neculitas (10/5): Great - Nice experience .Very friendly staff ,and the new restaurant is just amaizing .We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner and everything was great.
- elrich97 (10/5): Friendly - I was at the hotel with my partner and was having a drink .. the staff was friendly.. and the manager was friendly n helpfull aswell
- 950deepikak (2/5): Absolutely Unprofessional Conduct by Manager Marius - My experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing and far below the standards expected from Premier Inn. I checked in on behalf of my partner and requested a room on the top floor. I was initially told it would be ready in five minutes, but I was left waiting for approximately twenty minutes.
When I finally received the key, I went to the room and found that it was far too small for two adults. I returned to reception to request a room change, but the manager, Marius, refused. He insisted that the person who made the booking needed to be physically present to make any changes—an explanation that offered no real solution to the issue.
Throughout our interaction, Marius behaved in an unprofessional and intimidating manner. As a female guest, I felt extremely uncomfortable due to his stern, authoritative looks, which appeared intended to pressure me into dropping the request. When my partner called and asked to speak with him directly, he refused to engage at all.
After making me wait an additional thirty minutes, the “policy” he had stated suddenly changed, and he eventually provided me with a different room without any explanation. What made the situation even more unacceptable was that, despite being a manager, he addressed me as “darling”—a completely inappropriate and unprofessional term to use towards a female guest in a hospitality setting.
His conduct caused us significant distress, and the lack of professionalism displayed throughout was extremely disappointing.
A Note to Future Guests:
For future bookings, I would strongly recommend confirming room needs clearly in advance and keeping all booking details accessible. If you encounter any issues on-site, do not hesitate to escalate them promptly. Guests should always feel respected, supported, and treated with professionalism throughout their stay.
- R6462EYanthonyd (10/5): Good overnight stay - Stayed here for just an overnight stay after our work christmas party. Check-in was easy, the room and bathroom were clean and up to good standards. Would gladly stay here again. Only thing to improve was that there wasn't any trash bins in the room or bathroom.
- 11fakruli (2/5): Rude manager Marius - ⭐ 1-Star Review — Premier Inn Hayes (Hyde Park)
My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. My partner checked in for me and asked for a room on the top floor. She was told it would be ready in 5 minutes, but ended up waiting 30 minutes. When she finally got the room, it was very small.
When she asked to move to a larger room, Marius at the front desk incorrectly claimed that the person who made the booking had to be physically present. This is completely false — Premier Inn customer service later confirmed that as long as the booking reference is provided, room changes are allowed.
Marius was rude, unhelpful, and even refused to speak to me on the phone, despite my partner asking him to. The attitude and lack of professionalism were shocking.
Reception is also often empty, and it takes far too long for anyone to deal with even simple issues.
I would urge others to be cautious before staying here. This is not the standard you expect from Premier Inn.
- contactb500 (10/5): Amazing customer service from Neta - Fantastic customer service from Neta and Marietta this evening… so informative and helpful. Made a difficult day of work seem so much easier.

Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, and a convenient location. Excellent value for money- I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
- Travel31024479429 (10/5): Vacation - London - If you're looking for a peaceful vacation this is a good place to be at. The service was good, I couldn't ask for anything more:) Didn't have to rent a car since the train station is close by.
- Guide55732856838 (10/5): Excellent - We had a great stay, the new restaurant is lovely with delicious food and great service from everyone, rooms are clean and location convenient to travel.
- Sebi8800 (10/5): Great - Everything was great, nice and very helpful staff. The price was very reasonable and the location is very convenient as it is near a train station.
- richardjfg2025 (10/5): Full Marks!! 100/100 - Went to a gig on Sunday night nearby (Union Chapel) Amazing venue. Room Spotless and comfy bed....came down for a fab breakfast!!!Special mention to Marissa sorry if I didn't get your name quite right !(Receptionist) Christina (Restaurant) Abul (Chef) Great team.....!!
- mcdees17 (10/5): Always my go to hotel - Having been to this hotel good few times now when visiting my family. Still as good as 1st Visit. Staff very welcoming, food lovely. Breakfast plenty of nice fresh food to eat. Will visit again thank you
- 518arn (2/5): Worse than expected! - The actual rooms are much worse compared to what they show on the Internet/Website.
The room we were assigned also had a bad smell. We asked for a different room because we couldn’t stand the smell but all they did was spray air freshener to hide/mask the smell instead of assigning us a different room.
We were planning to stay 7 nights but after the second night, we had had enough. We checked out and went to Marriott hotel. What a HUGE difference it made!
Wi-Fi at Premier Inn also does not connect. And whenever it connected, the speed was agonizingly slow. You get faster speeds from your regular phone.
The restaurant was closed therefore we did not have proper breakfast yet they still charged us full price for the stay. Felt like a rip off.
- fdarby1 (10/5): Excellent hotel, very personable staff! - Cannot recommend this hotel stay enough! Visited for 4 days (3 nights) for my partner’s birthday and I had noted this on our booking to the staff. We were absolutely delighted to find that Sam and her colleagues had prepared a little birthday bundle on behalf of Hub for my partner. Alongside the excellent location, lovely staff, value for money, and great facilities, we were very impressed with this personable touch which can truly be rare in London. Thank you to Sam and the team for making our stay perfect :) will definitely visit again.
- NelsonScotland (10/5): Brilliant location, great staff - Had the best experience here, we had forgotten to book one of the rooms and hotel was very busy. However Sam was a complete star, she helped us book the room without any stress.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay central London.
- Climber562828 (8/5): Safe bet in Hackney - Great service, efficient check-in, and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Can't ask for much more than that. Will stay again next time we're in Hackney
- V3231PPkatea (10/5): London Hubs - Very friendly experienced staff who were helpful.
Excellent breakfast for the price, both healthy and nutritious
Very comfortable bed and cleanliness in both room and lounge/ restaurant
Would come again and recommend this hotel to all as it’s convenient to tube station and museums are within walking distance
- TreeJones (10/5): Great hotel - great staff! - Perfect location for us to attend the Red Clay Strays at Hackney Church. Bustley area with lots of pubs.
The staff at this hotel were fabulous. Each one had a smile for everyone! Clean and tidy. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. The breakfast area kept up together and was constantly kept looking so. 10/10 staff thank you.
- Jane (6/5): - Det var ok
- B2747HXjonm (10/5): brilliant staff - thank you - Great staff, super friendly and helpful made the stay really excellent - special thanks to Alex who was very welcoming and treated us like VIPs. Thank you
- Lynds119 (8/5): Decent overall - Really easy to locate and a short walk away from Dalston Junction station.
On arrival the self check in was broken but I was swiftly checked in by a member of staff.
My room was lovely and spacious, and I was impressed by the new style room.
Overall it was immaculate apart from a few very obvious thick dark hairs in the bath, and water stains on the tap and shower. This did make me question how well the rooms are cleaned as you couldn’t miss it and it wouldn’t have taken much to wipe them.
I would stay again depending on price
- X3695OGstephenm (8/5): Hayes town review - Location was good and room was clean. Ac in room was quite noisy and had to set it at the lowest fan setting or switch it off as it disturbed our sleep.
- Sherpa09205198004 (10/5): Good central location - Friendly helpful staff. Ideal location. Clever rooms, which were clean and functional. Only downside was no where to hang wet towels.
- P8826BPpaulc (8/5): If Bed&Breakfast is what you need, this was the most comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast each day. Need nothing more! - Excellent location, 1 min from Goodge St tube, round the side of Heals. We paid for a larger room, which was not exactly large, so I don't know how small the standard room is, but anyway most of it was taken up by the enormous and VERY comfortable bed so we had 3 very good nights. No cooked breakfast available but the continental breakfast was perfect. Staff pleasant & helpful. Also we were very glad to have a window (east facing, morning sun pouring in) which makes a huge difference. I would have enjoyed it much less in a windowless room. Would be nice if you could request that at time of booking perhaps?
- gaillE5687IX (10/5): Location, great value ! - A very conveniently located hotel for Tottenham Court Road/Oxford St with good transport links nearby. I had a larger than average Standard room with windows. It was clean and very comfortable, despite being onto TCR. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Peter on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast amazing value ! £6 for unlimited continental breakfast (fruits, yoghurt, pastries, orange juice, tea, coffee) . Room rates not out of the way for central London. Will definitely stay again !
- Curiosity54808098964 (10/5): Excellent - Location really good, staff very friendly and attentive. Nice room with everything I needed. Thought the floor could have been a bit cleaner but then I am very fussy. Would defo stay again.
- matthewmA5113MU (4/5): Not great for plus size patrons and some rooms have no windows - We booked Goodge Street venue as we had previously stayed in the area. The ease of access from Paddington using the underground with no changes was quite straightforward (Euston Square or Tottenham Court Road).
The visit was for a birthday celebration in London.
The hotel itself is in a very good area with many cafés, small pubs and even a supermarket within three or four minutes walk. Theatres and many LGBTQ venues are approximately 12 to 15 minutes walk away.
Arrival and check-in was very straightforward and efficient. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The elevators are small, but very quick and there seem to be a little to no waiting to use them.
From this point, things became relatively underwhelming to disappointing.
The first room I was assigned had to no Windows. Personally, this unsettled me and is an option I would never select. I found the room to be claustrophobic and stuffy. It was surprising that this was not announced before beforehand in any of the literature as typically hotels with this kind of limitation sell these rooms at a lower cost - a lack of natural light is a huge down point as far as I am concerned. Personally I am not a fan of confined dark space so this personal quirk heightened my displeasure further.
I went to reception and thankfully there was an alternative room I could be assigned. The staff were very friendly, understanding and accommodating. The second room was smaller, but having light made all the difference so I was heartened by this.
The bathroom small but appear to be well designed. It was stay over substance .
If you are sharing with someone you do not know well, please be aware that the entire bathroom is a glass box. There is a modesty screening to this that reaches up to approx the 180/185cm level. If any party using your room is taller than this, they would be able to see over quite easily.
The hand basin was a beautiful semi circular design however when water from the faucet - turned on at a average or higher speed - sprayed water up across the mirror, across the only worksurface and onto the only space where towels could be kept.
The door to the shower cubicle was very narrow and accessing the shower was a problem. I am a XXL so I fear anybody with a larger or heavy body would struggle to even enter the cubicle. There was a monsoon shower head and a standard showerhead, but the water pressure was below average.
All in all this hotel has a number of quirks which would dissuade me from staying there again. Whilst well designed to utilise space there were a number of disadvantages to the design in both usability and that would impact anybody with a larger body
- 745deirdrec (10/5): Lovely food - Very relaxing place. We planned to eat out but changed our minds because was very ceoliac-friendly. Our evening meal was simple, delicious and very fresh. Xgef Alex checked our requirements and quickly served up some yummy burgers.
Breakfast was just as nice with Chef Alex checking everything was ok. I watched how she communicated with someone I would describe as quite demanding. She was courteous and kind, bringing some freshly baked croissants to his table. Its a small thing but I loved how the tomatoes were cooked - not mushy but holding together with a perfect black pepper seasoning. We enjoyed both meals and its impressive to have such consistency across the board. Thanks Alex and Angela, we appreciate your skills.
- HDEK123 (4/5): Not great - Poor experience, possibly unlucky. Bed wasn't made up, no cuts in room. Got moved 2nd room the same. 2nd room seemed liked it was often used. Very dusty, stains on carpets, roof tile moved off ceiling. Bathroom floor hadn't been swept/cleaned in some time. Room was pretty awful.
- maorory (10/5): Gt - Great location, nice staff , everything was ok.Very spacious rooms.Nothing to complain. Will be much better when the restaurant will open
- U217LGmariak (10/5): Great - I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy ,very close to the train station.
- Tour52675046585 (10/5): Great place. - Very friendly staff .clean throughout the whole hotel. The manager girmay was helpful. This is so far one of the best hotels stayed in London.
Thank you
- BackPacker8303 (10/5): Wonderful Stay Highly Recommend - Beautiful stay at the Premiere Inn London Hackney. The hotel staff was wonderfully welcoming. Angela’s breakfast and service was top notch from her welcoming smile to her delightful food. Thank you for having us!
- Guide63312090522 (2/5): Workmen disruption - Terrible - workmen working drilling, hammering, banging throughout the stay on the floor above & rooms adjoining - got little sleep! Hotel had no other rooms to move us to!
- Lisa (6/5): - Hotel was quiet. Double bed was comfortable Twin bed was not as comfortable.
- Funlovinfella (10/5): Faultless! - Big shout out to Christina on reception, all smiles, really friendly at check in, made our day! All the staff are friendly which goes a long way!
We had a Premier Plus room which was spotlessly clean and the rainfall shower was the best we’ve ever had, it was a deluge, I’m thinking they’ve got a Detroit Diesel working the pumps!
Rooms were quiet and you couldn’t fault the hotel!
- 558xabia (10/5): Nice hotel, great staff - Good, well-run hotel. Banging breakfast served by the very lovely Angela. What a gem! Bathroom door in the room was coming off its hinges, but the bed was comfortable & the location was great.
- r0bwalks (8/5): Short Business Stay - I stayed in a larger room for 2 nights. Check-in was simple, just scanned a QR code and activated the room key - no interaction with staff needed. Room was well insulated from external noise. Bed was comfy and gluten-free muesli and soya milk was available at breakfast. Free wifi was decent. Location great for my needs - close to offices and plenty of places to shop/eat nearby.
Slight negatives, air-con was very noisy (same for other 4 members of my group), USB charging port didn't work, toilet paper cheap/thin, room had no window or natural light.
Overall a good option for a short mid-week business stay, but don't expect luxury.
- 295calumf (8/5): Great food - Best part was the restaurant. I ordered the Mediterranean sea bass. The presentation of the dish was great and visually was mouth watering.
The chef Angela mentioned it was her first time cooking the dish (you wouldn’t have known). Everything was cooked to perfection and she dish an amazing job (shout out to her)!
- mariepalmer2022 (10/5): Good weekend stay in Hackney - The Premier Inn is a short walk from the underground station. There are lifts to all floors, checking in is simple. We only had breakfast which was lovely. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. There was also a section which had tea and coffee making facility in the room.
- Aberdeen_Galavanters (10/5): This hotel is a find ! - Great location, fantastic staff.
Parking available at Sainsbury (Kingsland) just behind.
Made a fantastic base for our trip, and we will use the hotel again.
ALSO, great breakfast in the morning!
- markoram1234 (10/5): Excellent - I’ve stayed at this hotel a lot for work it’s in a great location. But the staff there are really great helpful and professional Neta is always a superstar and very knowledgeable and professional whenever I stay she has excellent customer service skills and always greets with a professional manner
- 372katharinet (10/5): Great staff - Usual Premier Inn experience made special by exceptional staff. Thank you to Angela for going out of her way to make us feel welcome
- 444patsys (8/5): Overall a good hotel. - The room (426) was VERY compact! The bed was very high and access on only one size. As an older couple ( mid 60's) we found it difficult to get in and out of the bed. No tea making facilities in the room, although there were free machines in reception and you could take the cups to your room. Other than that everything was excellent. Lovely hot shower, although you would have trouble getting in the shower if you were on the large side. Very clean. Staff helpful and friendly.
- Jack (10/5): Premier Inn Hackney - Very clean. Very comfortable. Really ejoyed my stay here.
- Dorset_Solo_traveler (4/5): Poor hotel - I arrived at 2.30 on a Friday, I am aware that check in is not until 3 pm but I arrived in London by train and headed straight for the hotel. The receptionist was very pleasant but told me there was a £15 charge for checking in early. So I opted to sit in the reception area and have a cup of tea, knowing that the likelihood was that my room was ready and sitting empty. Eventually we were told we could check in however when the receptionist told the people waiting, he told everyone ahead of me although I had been waiting longer than the others. I was reading so did not notice at first until the queue had built up.
There are two lifts in the hotel and clearly no service lift as one of the lifts was out of order and I noted that the cleaning staff were also using the single lift which delayed hotel guests considerably in this 6 floor hotel where even the reception is on the 1st floor. I can not cope with lugging my suitcase up and down 5 flights so had to wait until the single lift became free.
I have stayed at Hub hotels before and made use of the technology. This time my iPad would not connect to the television and the television was tuned to all the wrong channels, i.e. channel 1 was More4 and BBC 1 was on channel 22. Also the panel where the lights are controlled froze when I needed to turn the lights on and off. If i left it a while it started to work but this was quite inconvenient when I needed to get up in the night and in the end I used the torch on my phone.
In the morning the overhead shower was not working, all the water was cascading from the connection above the shower head so I could only use the hand held shower. The room was fairly clean but quite worn looking.
Although the staff were polite this is the worst of the Hub Hotels I have stayed at so far.
- A3148BYcharlottet (10/5): Great stay, thoroughly recommend it - Having a medical appointment in London my husband and I stayed in the Hub by Premier Inn Goodge Street London, we booked a bigger room wanting a larger bed and we were not disappointed, the room was lovely and clean the facilities were excellent, the staff were more than helpful, the temperature was at least 30deg outside but the air conditioning system kept the room at a very comfortable temperature. The manager Sam could not have been more helpful. We will definitely stay at the Goodge Street hub again and fully recommend them.
- jft678 (10/5): Thoroughly recommend - Really good hotel, great location, nice staff, absolutely no noise, good value breakfast. Special thanks to Henry who was particularly helpful in getting some property I left in the room returned to me.
- GBland (8/5): Decent stay in great location but room for improvement - Firstly, location great - around the corner from Goodge Street tube station and direct line to Battersea power station. Easy walk to Oxford Street, Covent Garden etc. Many theatres not far either. Rooms are basic and clean. Rooms towards back of hotel quiet
However, star dropped as larger room we booked only had a double bed not the king size expected (and reason we upgraded). Room was also set as single (one set of towels etc) when we had booked for two adults. Resolved by asking reception for another set. Also, only one USB power point and this was not working which meant we could not charge our devices. Had to sit in breakfast area to wait for device to charge. Free hot drinks if staying though. Friendly staff too.
Would have liked to be able to use check in kiosks for early check in as per our booking (and info received re checking in online) but they don’t start until 3pm (regular check in) so despite checking in online and expecting a quick pick up of key on arrival, we had to wait in queue of people dropping off bags.
We would stay again - just not worthy of 5 stars…. yet!
- MattJKav (10/5): Excellent value for money. You won't be disappointed. - This is my 3rd time staying here and it's just as good as before. Awesome central location. Very quick check in and out. Helpful friendly staff and great rooms. You can't do better.
- I8131JIjacobk (8/5): Lovely stay — just small touches to improve - Good Location!
I really enjoyed my time here. The staff were warm, the room was tidy, and the facilities were convenient. The only minor suggestion I’d make is to ensure shower gel is always refilled and towels are refreshed with a cleaner scent. Otherwise, a great stay and I’d happily return.
- colmn371 (8/5): Good value in London - Hotel delivered on location and cleanliness. The lady in reception was friendly and helpful. Overall it was good value for money.
- F2849GEchrism (10/5): Great hotel - My favourite premier inn! Great position but its the staff that make it better. Sam went out of her way to make it a smooth stay for me. Close to everyrhing you need!
- sophiecS6902VQ (10/5): Perfect for a few nights - perfect for a few nights. small room but had everything we needed. very clean and staff were lovely, friendly and helpful
- Stephen (2/5): -
1. Day manager insisted I pay in full to get access to room, even though I provided evidence of payment by Expedia.
2. Rooms smelled of paint or chemicals
3. Halls smelled of paint or chemicals
4. Day 2: No house keeping . I complained to manager - he said I needed to explicitly ask for housekeeping.
5. Towels smelled of smoke or chemicals
6. Day 3: still no house keeping
7. Elevator out of order in AM - my room was on 5th floor.
