• johnhW1693CS (10/5): The best sleep AND the best reception ❤️ - We needed a good sleep the night before a funeral locally and couldn't have picked a better base. Aside from our large, comfortable and quiet room it was the lady on reception that made an average stay extra special. We have stayed in many hotels around the world and rarely received such a pleasant and thoughtful welcome. Yes the phone signal dips out a bit and the food options are Beefeater fayre but the beds are comfy, the wifi is good (and free), the rooms are spacious and quiet, and the reception staff are top quality. Thank you so much 🙏 Eddie had the best send off and your gift gave us a lovely treat for our onward journey ❤️
• J_F_Travel18 (6/5): Lower standard than other Premier Inns - Average Premier Inn, it was fine but we've stayed in a lot better. Breakfast was poor and the biggest let down of the stay. The food quality was average at best. There were no tongs for any of the buffet items like bread and pancakes so just rogue hands touching everything, dirty plates were stacked into the clean (accidentally I'd imagine, but still), and there was broken glass all over the glasses tray. The room was fine, comfy bed and good heat/cool air con. They didn't provide us with enough towels or cups despite booking for 3 people. The location is what sells this place. 15min stroll into Paignton harbour, and right on the beach.

• 376vickyg (10/5): Comfortable stay for business, good value for ‘Plus’ option - Stayed in Premier Plus room which was definitely worth small premium for several additional amenities. Large comfortably furnished room thoughtfully laid out. Enjoyed one night stay with good dinner at adjacent beefeater, early start so didn’t do breakfast. Didn’t utilise parking which I understand is chargeable but this appeared plentiful.

• GeorgieFreckles (10/5): Great Hotel close to City Centre - Paid for Premier Plus and well worth the money. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Staff on reception very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about local area. Breakfast was fantastic and again friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location as can walk to local shopping area. Bus stop outside, daily tickets great value and frequent buses. Car park charges were great value and far easier to bus into city centre than drive.

One star lost becausevwifi kept dropping out and mobile phone signal non existent.This was difficult when we needed to be in touch with building contractors. That said this is one of the quietest hotels we have stayed in and probably the best premier inn we have visited
• 695ailieb (10/5): Amazing staff, great value room - In summary, our room was exceptionally clean and quiet, with very comfortable beds. They had put out extra beds for the kids which was amazing! The breakfast was good value. A really important positive point about this hotel, was the fantastic standard of customer services. Every single person we met went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble for them. It really made our stay great! The one negative thing to add about our stay, was the temperature of the rooms. There is no air conditioning, and our window didn't open. So it was really hot and sweaty. But overall a good stay, as otherwise it was faultless.
• fraserr266 (2/5): No hot water for a shower - On Sunday morning there was no hot water. I was told the boiler needed to be reset so I would have to wait. I had to wash in cold water. Reception were not able to help with a refund and said I had to raise the issue with customer relations when it opened on Monday morning at 9.00am. I been unable to get through to customer relations during their published opening hours. The on-line chat function on the web-site told me the customer relations team was experiencing technical difficulties so I would have to phone back later in the week and couldn't help with a refund. They have just left me hanging, very poor service overall. Also two of the coffee machines in the restaurant were out of service during breakfast.
• S3707OKtracym (2/5): Dissapointed - Disappointed, feels very tired and in need of some tlc. I actually live very local but needed to stay somewhere overnight for myself and autistic daughter. Location was perfect , beautiful sea view , but the room was disappointing stains on bed linen, no tea or coffee in the room , damp musty smell . The noise from above was very triggering for my daughter, sounded like a baby elephant walking around, plus noisy next door neighbour, I found the bed uncomfortable having rheumatoid arthritis, all in all it served a purpose but I wouldn’t return to this premier inn
• paulad132016 (10/5): Hidden Gem - Great little gem of Goodrington. We come every October half term and always enjoy our stay. Great location,buses to Brixham,Paignton and Torquay. Lovely beach and super staff!! Brewers Fayre is also fab with great breakfasts.
• B6209MLrogerb (10/5): Enjoyable stay at Goodrington premier - Just spent two week break at this hotel it’s a lovely location and all the staff are very helpful to your needs even the cleaning team, the manager Roy was most helpful on our last day accommodating a lot of our luggage whilst we waited for transport, we had a nice chat with him he runs a good ship with a good team so well done Roy.The restaurant staff was also brilliant and polite at all times we met Kiki our table server she made our holiday stay very pleasant, we highly recommend the hotel to stay it’s in a beautiful location with local buses just a short walk away to anywhere in the bay we will certainly tell friends to go for a break.and now there is a new Costa coffee shop there right by the water park which is great for morning coffee whilst you watch the dogs roaming about and they welcome dogs which is nice.
• H4935IKbrucec (8/5): A reasonable nights stay in Oxford spoilt by Premier’ s penny pinching house keeping policies. - Premier provided a reasonably priced and conveniently located hotel for a one night stay. The room was decently sized and clean with a comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was adequate. There were two issues. First Premier insist on providing only one bath towel for two people. This is infuriating, not least if one has paid over £100 for the room. It is no good saying one can ask for another: one does not want to trail down to reception at eleven pm in one’s pyjamas (there was only one person on duty and he could not leave reception). Second there was plenty of hot water when it came, but one had to run the tap for 10 minutes to get it.
• MQAQVQ (10/5): Convenient location - Great hotel, plenty of parking. Easy to catch the bus to the centre of Oxford. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Car parking rates were reasonable (<£16 for four nights)
• Experience566368 (2/5): Not recommended. - There is a parcel drop box area in the car park of the hotel. The delivery driver woke me up at 02:45 banging about in his van. Loading and unloading parcels. I could not get back to sleep and woke very tired the next day. I reported this to reception and they advised I complain via the website. I did do this and requested a refund and this was denied. Premiere inn do not take responsibility for the external noise that woke me, although they are allowing this delivery service in there car park operating in all hours.

• mickmikeV425EQ (10/5): Clean - Comfortable - Great Value for Oxford - We booked two double bedrooms - and they were both clean - comfortable - and quiet. We arrived in Oxford by train and the hotel was just a short bus ride from the centre of Oxford. The hotel receptionist was also helpful on arrival. On our tour of the UK - this was the only hotel booking I was concerned about (after reading the negative reviews), however, it was fine and far exceeded my expectations.
• Duane (6/5): - Further out of town than it looked (6 klms), room had a mouldy odour to it, air con good, bed comfortable. Restaurant is fine, had dinner there one night. Would prefer to be closer to Oxford next time.

• helenkV4086AI (6/5): Good stay but no WiFi was frustrating - We stayed for one night in September. We had two rooms, one accessible room and one family room. The rooms were on different floors which was not great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The accessible room was huge with a walk in shower. We had no WiFi for our stay. Reception said they have had problems with it for months. They said there is sometimes more luck getting on outside! Frustrating not to have been told in advance as I could have planned.
• mickcharlesworth (2/5): 400 mile round trip for nothing - Booked an accessible wet room for myself and my wife for the 18th September for 3 nights. When we arrived we were informed that our room was double booked and therefore not available. After a 200 mile drive we were so disappointed that we drove 200 mile home. On the morning of our arrival we were sent an email saying how much they were looking forward to seeing us. Both myself and my wife are disabled pensioners and we were treated absolutely shocking.
• Littledavegiraffe (4/5): Poor service - We would not stay there again, not friendly, unwelcoming. Our room was not ready on time, we had to wait over an hour for our room to be done. The food in the Brewers Fayre next door was lovely.
• philipfT2281FM (2/5): Scruffy, Shabby, dirty..its a shame, it could been excellent as its location is beautiful! - Firstly where & when did trip advisor get the photo of the hotel, it must be 10 years out of date & that's being kind, I don't think it's seen any outside maintenance for many years. The inside looks the same, very shabby, I've seen much better carpets in a skip. Didn't see anything about the £7:50 PER NIGHT parking charge when we booked! Room 2 was shabby, bathroom floor was filthy, looked like only the middle of the floor had been mopped since it was fitted. Bed was comfy, linen was clean, overbath shower was good just watch out for the kettle! it's stainless steel outer shell with no insulation means if you accidentally touch it after it boiled you'll scold yourself.. Location is excellent as the torbay is beautiful. Most of the staff where excellent but had to complain about various things, told to ask for the room to be cleaned if staying for more than one night, then told that staff had to many rooms to clean to service our room! But after complaining it was eventually done. Booked meal deal for convenience and this was good but had to complain about extra charges added as the wording on the information sheet was unambiguous and misunderstood by the staff. I have used premier sites for overnight stays many times but very disappointed with this one, we were staying for a number of days visiting relatives and attending a wedding and location suited our needs being on the bay but I wouldn't stay there if I'd known how shabby it was. DISAPPOINTING LENNY HENRY! And That you advise for them...must have paid you well! 🤑😏

Especially if you want a good service and good breakfast. - The bedroom had bits all over the carpet, there was no shampoo or gel in the containers they was all empty. Breakfast was extremely slow to be seated. Staff just wasn't bothered. They ran out of food so had to wait whilst they replenished everything.

There was no water in the room when we arrived, but the receptionist was helpful in obtaining it. The breakfast was excellent and we had dinner in the same restaurant one evening and it was also very very good.

• KarenOT (8/5): Very happy stop over, with great full english breakfast and a chippy tea! - We always choose premier inn because I have never had a bad nights sleep and seeing as we had already clocked up 6.5 miles hiking in southport with a further 10 miles due on the Saturday we needed a good nights sleep! The receptionist was really welcoming on arrival and offered to sort out reservations for dinner and breakfast which we took her up on. The hallway on approach to our room smelt a bit damp but the room itself was perfectly fine, clean and above all the bed incredibly comfy. The restaurant and the hotel are both looking very used and tired and could do with a spruce up but I guess this doesnt get priority treatment as I dont think its a busy hotel. The food was excellent with us having fish and chips for dinner and a full english for breakfast. ALL the staff without exception were incredibly friendly and chatty and we would stay here again because of this. The price for us this time was reasonable at just £40 each for us both in one room, but of course quite pricey for our chum who was on her own at £80 odd quid. But this was a one off trip so we thought what the heck! Well done again Premier Inn, your staff here are a credit to you. Car parking was a doddle by the way, lots of spaces.

Room key was tempremntal for lights and heating system wouldn’t shut off . On top of the stay of having to pay for parking wouldn’t come here again for the high cost
• HS82_47 (10/5): Excellent, clean and comfortable hotel - Clean and comfortable hotel with excellent variety and quality food in the optional breakfast. Team members are all polite, helpful and friendly. Ideal base for visiting Oxford.
• radicol2001 (8/5): Got to pay for car parking - Used before. The room we had was refurbished, it had been tastefully decorated, the carpet was springy and soft and the room was cleaned well. The bed was very relaxing and softer than hard. So a big improvement. The new seats looked new and were very comfortable, actually got TWO chairs. Bathroom was adequate, used an Accessible room, the bathtub was low based on a wheelchair user, still too high for someone with hip issues, like myself. The bedroom has an alarm to push if you need extra help. Staff were very helpful in Reception. The downside is, the aircon is in the room, its not wired to work yet. The windows open more than just a slit, another improvement. But not wide enough to lose a small child or baby through. The Beefeater has a good breakfast, we tried both, the continental and the cooked, both very good, self service. All you can eat in 1.5 hours. Parking is NOT FREE the downside that this hotel has now got pay to park, car park. £3.95 for 1 night is not bad, but it gets more expensive.

I can honestly say our time there was memorable and happy. Helpful staff and cosy, clean rooms. We slept so well! Thank you to the Team who looked after us so well, in particular Maria on the front desk.

Upon arrival at hotel reception to sign in, I had a great welcome from Taylor, who had a total and compassionate understanding of my disability. He was most helpful, and quite frankly, could not do enough for me. My room was very pleasant. Departing, I left , having received a very cheery goodbye from Dominika, well done to both of you. Please ensure my comments are passed to them.
• Rajan (2/5): Most horrible hotel, please don't recommend. - The worst service, especially at reception, with very Rude behavior. Mr. Ahmed at the reception was particularly rude and unhelpful. Premier Inn, please take note of this. I have booked three standard rooms and ended up getting an accessible room. I argued and was still unhelpful. I will recommend not staying there. No INTERNET for 2 days. Most horrible. Hotels.com, PLEASE TAKE A NOTE.
• K1356HPjuliek (10/5): Wonderful stay but with sad circumstances,Jules Khan - Hotel is excellent value for money all rooms newly decorated. Transport links to City excellent and very frequent. Staff are amazing so kind and compassionate towards their guests. My stay was a long 2 months due to my husband being critically ill in the local Hospital but were always happy to keep me in my original room each week. Beefeater Restaurant wright next door with excellent choice of meals friendly atmosphere and quick service. Perfect stay for Oxford City break transport links excellent every 10-15 minute inyo City Center, with options of Weekley bus pass to hop on & off buses all around City. Hotel itself is set in a nice quiet area know as Longwall near Cowley Mini plant. Will be staying again on better sercumstances next time.

• 822joank (10/5): Nice hotel, comfortable. - Nice hotel. Good location for my needs in the area. Comfy room. Check in and out was prompt. Disappointed that parking was extra.
• michaeli685 (4/5): Disappointed - I expected the place to be in better condition, as it is fairly new. However, the bathroom was in very poor condition, with rusty fixtures, peeling paintwork, and dirty grout between the tiles. No matter how many times I tried, I could not get a permanent internet connection with the Wi-Fi. I was not aware of the £7.50 a day parking charge until after i had booked and paid for my stay. I had to go back to reception to replenish the tea, milk and sugar as only 4 of these were supplied for the 4 days i was staying.
• AOB511 (8/5): Great location and enjoyable stay - Great location for kids right next to the water park and the beach. Close to plenty of restaurants and coffee place. The walk into Paignton is a little challenging (steep hill) for those of us in advanced years but the exercise is good. The staff were friendly and often run off their feet especially at breakfast time. We took the train but note that parking is chargeable at the hotel, £7.50 per day at time of writing. Food was good, decent prices for drinks. Our room was clean and tidy with a lovely sea view. Overall an enjoyable stay.

• Barbieb2004 (10/5): Nice and quiet - We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were friendly, the meals available in the Beefeater next door were good, breakfast excellent, while we were there it was lovely and sunny, but, when it rained it was a bit inconvenient to have to go outside and around the corner for breakfast but it really isn’t far. The reception area was being renovated during our stay but the room had been recently and was lovely and clean. Fun, huge charity shop five minutes walk away, M&S, Sports Direct and Tesco really close the other way. Handy bus stop to Oxford just outside the hotel. Would definitely stay again and will recommend to anyone heading in that direction.
• 362scotland (2/5): Don’t ever go into this hotels car park - I received a parking charge made by Horizon for parking in the Premier Inn Goodrington hotel car park. The charge was for parking for two days from 8 July to 10 July. This is clearly a scam by Horizon. I turned in the car park on 8 July and again on 10 July when taking my grandson to the nearby water park. On both days I have receipts from Ringgo for parking in other car parks in Paignton and also for the hotel we were staying at in Torquay. Sadly this was an Avis hire car and they have paid the fine and are now hounding me for the amount paid. I am now getting red warning letters. Despite multiple calls and emails with the hotel this charge has still not been cancelled. Avoid the hotel at all costs.
• davidlV3406OM (6/5): Shame on Premier Inn - I stay at a lot of Premier Inns but I have to say this is the first time I was dissatisfied. The room had the desk and desk lamp removed and replaced by a small round table with no lamp, which was not much use for working on. All the original desk sockets were on the wall but not near the table. The meal deal was a joke. The provider was a Beefeater and whatever arrangement there was with Premier Inn it meant that most of the menu items were only available at additional cost. The menu was also limited and two of the items that were in the meal deal were off the menu that day so basically all that was left was salad and burgers. Outrageously bad!!! The burger came cold and had to go back for a new one. There were two blocks of rooms and two receptions and so arriving at one to check in meant I had to move my car to the other where the room was booked. The breakfast had vegan instead of meat sausages and no black pudding. All in all I would not stay here again.

Unfortunately the big let down is the Brewers Fayre (whrlere breakfast is served) adjacent, not enough members of the team, tables left with empty plates, broken glass / plates. Staff seemed not to care Not only was dirty but also looked very tired, needs to have a leadership team who care and also support to renovate
• Natalie7382 (8/5): Placed perfectly to explore. Premier Inn hits the nail on the head again! - Fairly easy to find if you can follow Google Maps. Parking is good but a little confusing on what part belongs to the hotel. The view was gorgeous, with a view of the beach from one room and the park from another. It is very close to the waterpark (less than 5min walk) and Goodrington Sands beach (also less than 5min walk). The staff are friendly, bar staff are patient and accomodating. The WiFi is not very good at all and data usage is hard as reception is not very good. Overall it was a pleasant stay for 3 nights.

• O21TEalanh (6/5): Nice Hotel.....Maybe Don't Expect The Red Carpet Treatment. - Lovely spacious room in the adjacent block......comfortable, clean & quiet. However, not the best of starts as the Receptionist's Customer Service skills needed improving.....not in uniform, no name badge, rather abrupt including no apology for keeping us waiting at the desk. NB: Shift change around 3pm, "Wendy" who took over was fab. Told by Pub Staff last orders were at 10pm (Close at 10:30pm) but by 9:30pm they were hoovering the floor, prior to that (9pm) informed that coffee should be taken now if required as the machine was to be turned off, certainly given that "We want to go home" feeling. Last to leave at 9:40pm with the door firmly locked behind us.
• Didris (8/5): Wonderful staff and a clean and tidy hotel - Don’t be put off by the outside of the main hotel or the restaurant - it looks very tired - however the main hotel building is very well cared for internally - it just looks a little uninviting from the outside. Rooms are very clean and tidy - usual PI standard with the new (very comfy) Silentnight beds. Reception staff were great and very professional and very polite. We were a large group celebrating our Mum’s 94th birthday and we had excellent service and a great nights sleep (double glazing was very good). Air con here is effective (and a blessing ) Restaurant next door was fine, though a little tlc around the decor is required. And again staff were excellent, we had server Jean who was very prompt and very attentive - thank you! The test is always “would we stop again “ and yes we would !
• stevehL4066VH (4/5): Sad to see - Although the staff were excellent; thoughtful, helpful and courteous, the building, rooms, beds, and decor looked very very tired, overused and unappealing. If you add to this we had to pay for our parking and Wi-Fi access on top of our room at £133 for one night without breakfast, I thought the overall stay was not good value for money. I would not recommend it.
• X7767MMpdt (10/5): Great Stay and Wendy is so Welcoming - We returned to Ormskirk premier inn for a short break during the school holidays, it was lovely to get a happy welcome from Wendy who remembered us from last years stay. A real easy check in process and we had already pre-booked our breakfast times on Morris Dancers web page. Our room was lovely and clean the bed very comfy and the air con was much needed with the weather being a mini heat wave. Would really recommend this hotel it is really peaceful and the happy friendly staff especially Wendy make the stay hassle free.

Needs house keeping though. - Great place and lovely staff, perfect location and great food options , awesome place with the beach a few feet away and a massive green to the side We love coming here but it really does need some house keeping in the terrace we have been every year for the last 5 years and never seen it clean always rubbish on the floor , tables left uncleaned and ashtrays all over ! Putting that aside it is a brilliant spot
• Z5442XIandrewm (2/5): Changed £58 for a meal 'deal' that is advertised as £26.99 ! - Don't do the 'upgrade' to a 'meal deal' as it will cost over double! When I stay in a Premier inn with my young son, I always Pre pay for breakfast, as it's a super deal as kids eat free, and £10.99 for us both to have unlimited breakfast is great! On our first evening, at reception I paid an additional £16 to upgrade to include dinner and a drink. I paid for my sons meal seperately at the bar. As this had worked out so well, we repeated this process for our second night ! After checking out - I was then CHARGED £64 for 2 meal deals - which I had already paid for ! It's now a week later and I still have not got my money back. The hotel itself is super, as it's such a PERFECT location. But in the unlikely event we did ever go back - I would never ever get involved with any form of meal 'deal' ! Sadly as the money was taken without my consent, I was then unable to meet some of my other payment deadlines. The premier inn customer service team have been fairly helpful on the phone and I have been assured that I will get a refund - (eventually) , But I am still heartbroken that I was charged for something I had ALREADY paid for !!!!
• 656wayne96 (8/5): An ok stay, but could have been better - Hotel was ok, im not a fan of paying to park your car at a hotel youre staying at . Wifi and air con were both very poor, with a hot and stuffy room. Room could have been cleaned better before we arrived. Hotel located on the beach and overall we enjoyed our stay. We were sent an email saying we could possibly check in for 11am, but the receptionist wouldnt allow it.

• Y8864FSsarahr (10/5): Lovely hotel - Great location for graduation at Edge Hill University. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, giving us a warm welcome. The rooms are clean and spacious. We eat at the restaurant for evening meal and for breakfast. The food was good value. Would highly recommend this hotel.

• 43maisiem (6/5): OK but not the best if you need to keep in touch with the outside world - Nice, basic Premier Inn. Great bed etc - BUT you can't get a phone signal in your room. You have to go out into the carpark! Internet also awful - couldn't work from here at all. No nice walks nearby either, and no shops. Nearest are 15 mins via car.
• Richard (8/5): - We booked this one night stay somewhat last minute. It is a Premier Inn so generic room, clean and functional. Self check in didn't recognize us (we live out of country) so had to wait for an in person check in. The surprise was the car parking fee...and the lack of space! The skip taking up a prime (possibly disabled) space and the view of the red rubbish bins for the restaurant next door was not inspiring!
• Exmabs (8/5): This is a Modern World - Most Premier Inns get it right. Cheap, cheerful and comfy. It won’t be a a ‘5 Star’ experience however the simple things make life easy. The staff here are superb, Very helpful. Faultless. The rooms despite being basic, are airy, quiet and clean. Shower is great and the bed guarantees a decent nights kip. One epic fail though that has been flagged by many. The comms are appalling and there are no charging facilities in the rooms. Rectify that and you’re home and dry:

• gavinl28 (10/5): Southport out of town 🤟 - The rooms are great Just fantastic bed shower bath what more do you want we have stayed here for the proximity to the church that my sister is buried and we can stay here knowing we gonna get value for money

Staff were understanding and helpful, as a family we visited friends and the Hotel complimented our visit, place was clean and tidy and would definitely use it again parking was easy and disability spaces right next to the entance - Thank you.
• janicebB1795DG (10/5): Great service from reception staff. - Room, parking and service all very good, and reception staff were extremely kind in helping with a last minute arrangment for a family funeral. We had breakfast and evening meal in the pub next door, both very good quality. Good location, on main route between Southport and Ormskirk but set back from road meaning rooms are quiet.
• WarleyTowers (10/5): Welcoming friendly staff - Great PI located between Southport and Ormskirk. Clean comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely friendly staff. Thank you Jennifer & Janet for the friendliest PI welcome ever! Easy to find and while right off the main road, very quiet at night.. Plenty of parking
