Guest Reviews
- Resort32347779111 (10/5): Absolutely fantastic stay - I recently came down from Glasgow, to watch the rugby. I had a wonderful stay. My room was clean and cosy. The staff were so friendly, and knowledgeable regarding bus links and local shops. I will certainly come to visit again!
- phild434 (10/5): Great Premier Inn - Great location for the rugby and local bars and restaurants.
Staff here a brilliant. A great Premier Inn welcome. Rooms very clean and comfortable
- 579adrianh (4/5): Small hotel but staff are engaging - Hotel staff were spot on and very helpful and engaging, hotel was what you come to expect of a premier inn, however this us the first time I have ever come across them not being in charge of the car park facilities, the company who does that cancelled my booking the night before, then let me book on someo e else's drive 5 minutes away at double the price , work that one out wasn't a happy bunny
- C767AMleew (8/5): Location - Well located for the rugby, town centre by bus, London Central by rail, etc bonus is no parking charges or khans charges..
- Vladimir (6/5): - Reception service is great - congratulations! Really great people, friendly, helping - I liked it really very much!
The rest is… well: forvthat price a mediocre breakfast nearby at Befeater, the burger there in the evening was disgusting.
- Sunshine29501707647 (6/5): Avoid during heatwave! - Very friendly staff, very comfortable mattress. That’s where it stops though. Airco not working. They provided 2 fans but very noisy and room was still way too hot! Woke up with splitting headache both mornings.
Such a shame as is in good location.
- alisdairh2024 (10/5): Two nights, double room - Just what you expect to get at a premier inn! Nice clean and air conditioner worked on a very hot couple of nights. I’ve got to say that the staff on the desk were really nice. Rana was really helpful, providing advice on travel to our destination, what bus to get on ect ect.
Both staff were better than a lot of staff at far more expensive hotels!!
- jandroo (4/5): Not great - Staff in the hotel and restaurant were very helpful.
Room was very tired and in need of some repair; lock on bathroom door didn’t work and some lights weren’t working.
General cleanliness was poor in the room and restaurant, with ants crawling up the walls and along the skirting.
- U6540MNphilipw (10/5): Welcoming staff. - The staff are always very welcoming and nothing has been any trouble for them if needed to be sorted. Rooms are clean, tidy and warm (in winter). Rooms are of a good size to spread out suitcases etc. The Beefeater next door has had very good staff fir breakfasts which are well laid out. There is a pleasant beer garden for visits in the summertime.
- darrand2025 (10/5): Great service - Philip Hodgkins and his staff always make me feel very welcome and have a laugh and a joke. As I stay at the hotel most weeks for work it’s nice to see a friendly face. Room is always ready and clean when I arrive. Its easy to park my work van outside and has a restaurant next door
- MRMCL13 (10/5): Great hotel and great location - I stayed here during August 2024 and was met by great staff and a clean and spacious room.
The hotel itself is just right and in a perfect location for visiting all of the surrounding areas and even further afield thanks to good connections.
It also has a great Beefeater next door which you can have your breakfast, lunch and evening meal at.
I'll be back! Thank you to the staff again.
- Jobeer2011 (6/5): Nice stay, shame about early morning noise - Staff in hotel were lovely. Room was fine for what we needed, however we didn’t get a restful nights sleeping hearing planes fly late into the night, and being woken up by beer barrels being crashed around outside at 6.45am from brewers fayre next door
- MB0807 (10/5): Long Weekend Break - The hotel was ideal, set in a nice location, and was clean with a very comfortable room. Staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. The attached restaurant was very good with a good choice menu both breakfast and evening meal with very well cooked food.
- emmaday2016 (4/5): Worst premier inn stay - We usually choose premier inn as you tend to get the same wherever you stay however this one was particularly poor
The room was dated, the sink was broken, the baby cot was broken, the AC didn’t work (as the late night staff didn’t understand you had to change it over from heating in the back office), the late night staff didn’t understand the difference between a duvet and a sheet despite calling their manager for help.
The floor in room 6 is so noisy that if you did manage to get any sleep, you’d have woken everyone up. The other guests are not mindful either and make a lot of noise.
The food next door was awful. The dinner service was great but the food was average. Again the worst beefeater we’ve eaten at. At breakfast it took 45 minutes to be served despite booking a table and having a 6 month old! It was also practically empty as well. When asked for orange juice we were given warm drinks.
Overall absolute terrible stay and worst night sleep
- TMA51 (6/5): Expensive for what it is - ALLstaff at the Hotel and next door at the restaurant were very welcoming, helpful and cheerful. The Hotel itself however, is in desperate need of modernisation and refurbishment. It is very dated and far from sparkling clean.
Our room backed onto the next door Beefeater pub/restaurant which was very noisy late into the evening. Certainly not conducive to a good night's sleep for a 5 year old. We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to Twickenham stadium. Very expensive for just a one night stay. I don't think we'll be returning.
- lawslwcew (2/5): Dreadful - worn out, dirty, not fit for purpose. - Reception smells, floor in room sticky, wear shoes. No shower curtain so water everywhere. Toilet blocked with just toilet paper. Bedding thin and smells, bed worn out. Settee covered in stains.
Website says pay for parking and directs to company who run it, but when you arrive they tell you it is free - no way to get money back.
Beefeater next door - dirty, sticky floors, dried food on tables, stains on chairs. Food tasted of rancid fat.
- davidbI8208WC (2/5): Rudimentary, such obvious cost-cutting. - Perhaps the most rudimentary Premier Inn (PI) I’ve ever stayed at. Old, sad, decor. A bathroom with a warped floor, a single set of old scratchy towels (reception was happy to provide an extra set), a basin faucet which ‘sprinkled’ water, and was unable to deliver any hot water at 5pm; low to medium water pressure in the shower, although only slight variations in hot water temperature in the morning. The free WiFi didn’t work at all (didn’t try to upgrade), and neither did the air-conditioning, so we had to open the window. The hotel is situated at the junction of two roads though, so the night time was, unsurprisingly, noisy with the window open. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable (~medium hard) and the staff were very friendly. Nevertheless, poor value for money, and a miserable start to our holiday.
As is now usual at PI, there were no toilet rolls, only a ‘single sheet dispenser’, and no soap bars, only a somewhat nauseating body wash. I personally find these omissions unacceptable for a hotel and automatically deduct a point from its ranking. Such omissions may not bother everyone, obviously.
- shopfloor (6/5): Not as seen on tv - The room was very tired needed some TLC the bathroom needed a makeover the hotel it self looked as it’s been over looked for a while
- S8147NOdebbier (8/5): Convenient - This Premier inn is very convenient for Twickenham Stadium. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean with very comfortable beds.
- Carugarlic (10/5): Ideal for Twickenham stadium - Cheap and cheery. Clean and as expected. 8 minute Uber from houndslow trains station. And the next morning after the breakfast . We walked to twickenham stadium in 30 mins. Followed city map app. Beefeater ideal next door. Quiet, although ok a busy crossroads.
- cammac54 (4/5): Bathroom was awful - This was our second stay at this hotel but this time we booked a standard room. The room was ok but the bathroom had black mouldy grout around the tiles, the shower head had black mould and limescale, the floor was manky in the corners, the sink plug jammed so unable to use sink and the whole bathroom was just ver worn out!
