• Janenw5 (8/5): Wonderful staff - don’t bother paying for countryside view - Staff were lovely - super welcoming. Usual comfy bed I expect with a premier inn. Dinner menu lacked healthy choices but loved that breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Reason for 4 not 5 star rating is that I paid extra for a countryside view. See photo of my view - a car park with skip’s where a lorry emptied them at 5am complete with loud “caution vehicle reversing” noise. Yes it’s true I could see a hill in daylight but give the hotel but seriously, would you call that view “countryside” and charge your guest extra for it?!
• A9359DQcj (4/5): Not good. - Car park £10 a night. Extortionate. Evening meal menu was poor,a lot of things not available. Drinks expensive. Twenty minutes wait for breakfast which when you're heading for the airport is not very good. Worst Premier Inn we have stayed in.
• Scenic746581 (2/5): disappointed - Would we stay here again after staying here for several years NO ! We have always stayed here for our flights from EMA before and after our holidays . On our return flight we checked in at reception my husband went to the table we had just reserved . Waitress was extremely rude he placed his order with her then her reply was I will Come back to take your order he said you have just taken my order … He then stood up with his walking frame and she then said get out my space I don’t get paid enough for this 🤬 He then asked for the manager … No actual manager on duty … My Husband then notified the desk receptionist to cancel his booking for the evening meal as he would not now eat in the restaurant due to her lack of respect for two of your regular customers! 13/11/25 @ 18-30pm .. we will now be booking our overnight stays with the Leonardo Hotel from now on .
• W5040YTnicolem (10/5): Dated hotel in a great location with great staff - Dated hotel It was clean and the staff are great but the hotel is in such a good location yet old and tired. Its ashame really. Restaurant next door is the same. Great staff but dated however not as dated as the hotel. We are well beyond keys and the door from reception is open to anyone. Should this not be secured ? It seems to breach security in my opinion. Overall the staff and cleanliness and location made this a good stay

• edfI5365WR (10/5): Airport hotel with late check in - We arrived at about 2am on Saturday morning after a flight and were warmly welcomed. Everything was as hoped for with the hotel and the room. The breakfast was great with the cooked food being made to order. The lady serving us deserves a lot of credit for still being friendly and effective even though she was clearly busy.

Upgrade costs are not clear and transparent hidden on the back page in small print so not obvious at the point of ordering. Feel that something that looks good value is intact more expensive . Come on premier inn get your act together feel like we have been had over.

• Venture691102 (10/5): It was a nice cute bar and my favourite cruz campo larger was on tap, nice confy room and friendly helpful staff too. - I arrived from the airport for a one night stop over. so it was handy and just a walk away from the airport, the staff were helpful with information as I needed to go to Derby on the bus, the next day.

• neile810 (6/5): Nice hotel poor food lots of items no available - Nice clean hotel friendly staff but was letdown by brewers fare first night we wanted cottage pie which they didn't have so ordered beef and ale pie which was overcooked so couldn't eat it my wife had lasagna which was bury to the bottom Dessert Cheese cake And apple cameral pie Both were good Second night Fish and chips were sold out Cottage pie out of stock gain So ordered burger classic Smoothed chicken Burger was burt and lukewarm Smoothed chicken was ok Cheese cake was nice Carmel apple pie was good Kitchen staff needs retraining

Arriving here, I was greeted by friendly staff from the outset. From bookending to having my evening meal. Having the opportunity now, I'd like to say a huge thank you to Pamela for looking after me during my evening meal, ensuring I was comfortable and my meal came out in good time. Her true dedication and commitment, if I had any say, she needs a pay rise! A manager in the future, for sure... Thank you Premier Inn for another hotel I'll be looking to book in the near future... Everyone from the management team to the housekeeping team, chef etc make you feel like family. Staying away on business isn't easy at times, but when you are greeted with a friendly face, clean rooms and excellent service. it makes it so much easier. Thank you to Daniella and her team and Ang and the team for your smiles and always making myself and my colleagues feel so welcome.
• Adventure726640 (10/5): Wonderful stay , before our holiday . - What a fantastic hotel , have stayed in many premier inns but this hotel was by far the best so far. On arrival we were met by Martin and Lucas , fantastic customer service. Cheerful and polite and so attentive. Our room for the evening , was clean and very comfortable. Booked an evening meal , food was lovely and the restaurant staff were fantastic. Again attentive and efficient, couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back .
• 658callump (10/5): Nice stay(s) - This review will be a complete review of two stays from the beginning and middle of July. We stayed before our outbound flight to go on holiday and after our inbound flight home. We are regular Premier Inn guests. This was our first time staying in a newer style “Next Evolution” PI and we was impressed by the newer decor, cleanliness and design. I emailed the hotel prior to our stay and requested rooms close to our friends and at the end of a corridor and this is exactly what we got on both stays. We was allocated, a huge standard room on our first stay which we gasped at when we opened the door! We was so chuffed! However, this was short lived as the air con failed and couldn’t cool the room sufficiently as the room was so big, and because you couldn’t turn the temperature down below 19°c. We did contact reception who said they would override it to make it cooler but nothing changed, and eventually they moved us across the corridor to another room. This was smaller and a more standard layout of a PI room that we expected. The air con gladly worked properly in this room. We got the exact same room after our holiday too. The new design is nice, however there seems to be a lack of any desk area or places to put things. They have replaced the desk area with a multipurpose table but it isn’t sufficient to put a load of items on. Plus if you wanted to work on a laptop, you could but there is no nearby plug to charge it, as there would be with a desk. The new showers are horrible, I miss having a bath! The new shower heads are such a downgrade from what they previously had, they provide a mist rather than a powerful rain shower. The rest of the bathroom is nice though despite this. I know this is none of the hotel managements fault and they just have to work with what they’re told/given. The food in the restaurant is nice! I had stayed in a PI for two weeks straight prior to this stay, so was familiar with the menu, as they had the same restaurant “Thyme” brand in the hotel I stayed in for work as they did in this one. The service was good too, the staff are very attentive, warm and chatty. Breakfast is cooked to order and not a buffet style offering. Pastries, toast, cereal etc are all self service, just hot food you have to order. Overall both stays were good and I would happily return!
• Roger82 (4/5): Not the usual Premier Inn standard - This was some way off the usual good experience of a Premier Inn, with the main issue being that the place is somewhat rundown and unloved. As soon as you pull into the carpark you can see there’s a problem, with litter and rubbish everywhere and even dumped pallets (I counted at least three) on the edge of the parking spaces. I imagine the place hasn’t been visited by a landscaper for years, with dead plants and mud mixing with the litter. Once inside it’s only marginally better, with the general décor and rooms seriously needing refurbishment. On the plus side the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and the pub and restaurant next door (also owned by Whitbread and essentially part of the hotel) was decent enough and the food and service very reasonable - in particular the breakfast which was very good.
• T5429QPraymondb (10/5): First experience hopefully not last - First time at this location and enjoyed every day . Particularly liked the automatic entrance doors great which is great of your loaded with shopping or disabled in anyway. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed linen and bathroom towels very nice. plenty of room to stow toiletries and clothes in shelves and lockers. TV good size and received good reception. Plenty tea and coffee in room with more provided if needed at reception. Plenty of car spaces for parking FOC. As for meals - the Lee Burn next door was great offering special deals for guests. For example 2 course meal + drink of your choice + all you can eat for breakfast for £26.99. Finally all the staff from reception to room and restaurant were extremely polite and helpful. Definitely will return and recommend.
• Sherpa15789817004 (8/5): Good stay - Arrived after 4pm and had to wait for bed to be made. Would have expected the room to be ready after such a long drive. Not sure why there is a desk but no chair. This has been the first time the floor has not creaked when walking on it. This has been a down point of this hotel. Both the Lee Burn restaurant and the hotel need to have a bit of attention. Dirty worn carpet in the restaurant makes it look grubby. Food for breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of options available. Staff in both the restaurant and hotel were very pleasant and helpful. I do think the staff cleaning and preparing the rooms are not given enough time to get them done.
• MrsMc15 (8/5): Lovely staff, but room too hot and breakfast disappointing - We recently stayed at Premier Inn Glasgow East Kilbride (Nerston Toll) and overall had a good experience. The staff were absolutely lovely, especially David – he was so helpful with our request for a cot, always cheerful, and took the time to have a chat with us. He really made our stay feel that bit more personal. The room was clean and comfortable, but it was extremely hot (28 degrees all night) and unfortunately the fan didn’t do much to cool it down, which made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast at the pub next door was a bit disappointing – the continental selection was very limited and while the cooked breakfast was made to order, everything was served just warm rather than hot, so it wasn’t as enjoyable as we’d hoped. That said, the location was convenient, the check-in was easy, and the staff really did go the extra mile. With a few improvements to the cooling in the rooms and breakfast options, it would have been a 5-star stay
• Tagpinasao (2/5): Perhaps the worst Premier Inn? - This is possibly the worst Premier Inn I've ever visited. Usually Premier Inn is a reliable chain of hotels but this was dreadful - dirty, scruffy - mould in the bathroom and curtains hanging off the rails, hung with too few hooks! The pub serving breakfast was understaffed and the breakfast was not up to the Premier Inn standard despite charging Premier Inn prices. Overall - dreadful.

Very clean and the staff are great. They are very helpful . I will certainly be staying again. Thank you everyone at Nerston Toll for making my trip memorable.

Hotel location is perfect too nestled in the mountains nice view and restaurants nearby. Close to Brecon Beacons & Henrhyd waterfall. Definitely one of the best Premier inns!

• Gibbsabby (10/5): Great base for exploring the area with a comfy bed guaranteeing a great night's sleep - Lovley clean hotel. Very friendly and welcoming reception staff. Room very clean and a comfy bed. Always good value for money. We did the meal deal and got breakfast and evening meal included. Would advise booking times for meals as the restaurant was quite busy. Sheep in the car park, always amusing when travelling in Wales.

• Ailleyxglenx (10/5): Great hotel - We are regulars here, the price is always good for a family of 4. Great area for a good choice of food placed round about. It has a lift aswell so ideal don't need to climb stairs . Most importantly the staff are always brilliant and make a right fuss over our kids . They always leave a small gift in the room aswell for them which is a really nice touch.
• judithwD622PG (10/5): Fabulous stay - Stayed at Ebbw Vale for Steelhouse Festival. Brilliant location, 5 mins to train station for shuttle bus to venue. Staff were friendly and chatty throughout our stay. Our room was a quad and was a good size, it was clean and tidy and the bed was super comfortable. The free car parking was a plus. You know what you're getting at Premier and Ebbw Vale didn't disappoint.
• 805MAYDAY (8/5): Typical Premier Inn, quiet location. - The hotel is located on industrial estate next to the pub/restaurant. Quiet location. Typical Premier Inn hotel. Reception staff are extremely professional, polite and friendly. I was allocated room 110 on arrival. Room smelt musty. Got my room changed and given room 108. Clean room, comfortable bed. Room looking worn, bathroom needed revamp. Tile grout mouldy, sealant around mirror peeling. TV, kettle tea/coffee etc. Self help Refill in reception. Parking on site free, don't forget to enter vehicle registration in on tablet on arrival or you will be fined. Booked breakfast each day. Worth the price, plenty of choice, hot drinks, juices, ice water, continental and cooked breakfast.
• F3845MJjanh (10/5): Ignore the negative reviews - After reading a lot of negative reviews on here we were wary of staying here, but all i can say is the people that wrote the comments either worked for a competitor or were just nasty Trolls. The staff were friendly and chatty, the room was clean and lovely and cool with the air con as it was 34 degrees outside. The food was good and the waiting staff friendly. To anyone thinking of staying here ignore the Trolls and book.

• tabbye2017 (10/5): Lovely hotel, very quiet. - Beds were very comfy, shower was very powerful and amazing with shower gel that can be used for hair and hand wash .only bad thing was no transport or taxi available so make sure you don't mind walking.
• huxley7 (2/5): rip off - I have stayed at this hotel several times the last being 22 june 25 on this visit i was asked for my car reg as usual which I gave, then two weeks later I was sent a parking fine for £57.00 if paid within two weeks , I checked the web site and noticed you had to enter car details in a tablet in reception this wasn't mentioned at reception and as they had asked for my reg number why did they not mention the tablet? I won't be staying there again that's for sure.
• FmlyTrav (6/5): Comfortable stay - We stayed here in June. Our rooms were on the second floor. The facilities are basic and decent, comfortable bed, plenty of charging points in the room. The staff were very friendly and it makes a difference. I had left a few things behind, the staff found them and agreed to send it via self addressed envelope, thank you for that.
• kezzaduncs (6/5): East Kilbride premier inns - Another premier inn fail in East Kilbride, banging doors, general noiseiness from 6am, premiere inn need to sort it out. scruffy dirty rooms, bare minimum everything. We've tried all premier inns in EK and not the best. Air B&B for us next time.

Being so close to the bypass it was ideally located. Breakfast in the morning was nice and lady who served us was polite and attentive

Lots of options for food outwith the restaurant next door. Had a few drinks in there and staff in there were nice and friendly.
• sianhK5505ZE (4/5): A premier inn I wouldn’t recommend - We always stay at Premier inns & rate them highly. We have stayed at this hotel before hence why we chose to go back but probably wouldn’t return after this time around. We were greeted by a young lady who wasn’t enthusiastic and it felt like we were an annoyance. We stayed in room 16 on the ground floor, upon opening the door we were hit by the smell of damp. Parts of the carpet were saturated and our sock were wet through after walking around the room without shoes. You cannot open the windows. The room was clean on the surface but there was a horrendous amount of dust under the bed and bits of rubbish. Bathroom was clean. Walking through the hallways you can tell the windows in the rooms can’t be open as the smell in the air was horrific. I’m sure we had a herd of elephants staying above us as the stomping was unbearable at times. The food was ok at the adjoining restaurant but some of the staff seem like they really don’t want to be there and left our starter plates for over 20 mins (it wasn’t busy) if I hadn’t asked for them to be cleared I don’t think we would have gotten our mains. The oil needs to be changed as everything friend came out brown and tasting like old oil. Breakfast was ok. I always recommend premier inn but I wouldn’t recommend this one.
• P895LYwendym (10/5): Great stay - Myself, daughter and friend and her daughter stayed one night on Good Friday. We went on the 4 waterfalls walk and were absolutely drenched and cold when we arrived. Check in was quick and easy and we had rooms next to each other on the ground floor. I didn’t inform them I have mobility issues but it wasn’t an issue. They booked a table at the Brewers Fayre and even though there was a long wait for food because of being busy our meals were great. The brekki in the morning was amazing as well. Letting kids eat free with a paying adult is brilliant and value for money. Definitely stay here again.
• missbute (10/5): GREAT HOTEL IN A CENTRAL AREA OF EAST KILBRIDE AND ON THE BUS ROUTE - I was having a night away for a change of scene and a little treat for myself!! I was delighted with the room rate that I managed to get at the time of booking so all good!! I received a very warm welcome on arrival unfortunately I do not know who the lovely young lady was on reception was as I did not see a name badge. I had phoned ahead to ask if I could be allocated a specific room and was DELIGHTED TO HEAR I had been allocated the room I had asked for. Unfortunately I discovered that the heating was not working in the room and after returning from my meal at the onsite restaurant I advised the chap on Reception of this (possibly the Duty Manager). He was so helpful and asked me just to give him a short while and he would bring up a stand alone heater for the room but if that was not suitable they would move me to another room!!! I would not have mentioned the heating situation had it not been rather BALTIC at that time!! Excellent service and I said I would be quite happy with the heater he eventually delivered to my room and it was perfect for me and soon warmed up the room. The accommodation was spot on very clean and the bathroom was spotless as well. I had no complaints about anything about my stay apart from the heater not working but that was soon rectified as I said. I have stayed at this Premier Inn many times over the years and I most certainly would not have any hesitation in returning if the room rate is right for the time I wish to stay. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
• Flackadder (6/5): 3 stars - Room could have been cleaner. Quilt cover without a rip would have been nice too. A few USB sockets would have been a bonus. Staff were great. First appearance is key. Clean the car park if all the litter. No need to pay for a room with a view. Seems like all rooms had a bit of a view.
• Wayne2300 (6/5): Hotel stay Nerston Toll - Hotel was good, room was good, staff really friendly. I purchased a dinner bed and breakfast package as I was away with work. I ended up having to pay more than most of my other colleague's, they had paid £69 and I had to pay nearly £100. I asked why this was and was told there were no more rooms at this price which I assume meant put the price up due to demand . The evening meal wasn’t great food quality and the breakfast wasn’t great too. On reflection would have been better getting just a room and eating elsewhere. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were really friendly.
• Tina3cats (10/5): Amazing - Stayed at this hotel now at least 9 times. Just where we need it for Tredegar. Staff are always friendly and polite and helpful. Excellent security. Great pub nxt door to eat and drink and serves up breakfast can get extremely busy between 5-7pm and 9-10.30am but staff never complain just rush around to help
• PhilD7391 (10/5): Excellent service - We stayed for 2 nights for our silver wedding anniversary Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble with our anniversary clashes with Valentine’s Day we were have trouble finding food with most places booked up the two lovely ladies on reception were ringing around trying to find us somewhere which they managed to do we had a lovely evening out and on our return we found 2 small bottles of wine an anniversary card and some posh biscuits waiting for us
• Dukesy12345 (2/5): Room with a view, nope 👎 - Sorry prem inn Ebbw Vale about review. The room was adequate for what I needed. I don’t usually do add onns but I paid extra for a room with a view, checked in they said ground floor room 12, seriously you would think I would be top floor just to appreciate some sort of a view adleast. Got to room looked out window, office block with 3 big red wheelie/dumpster bins as my view
• compsd (10/5): Faultless - Lovely friendly attentive staff, room clean facilities fine bed VERY firm known quality of their renowned matress but had a good night sleep as all quiet due to setting location peaceful. One minor critisism is toilet flush needs a very strong push, I think by design and not a fault but maybe too much an effort for some. Ideal for trips into Cardiff by train as station a very short walk away. Be aware other than the parter Brewers fayre resturant there is nothing in walking distance in the way of shops or restaurants.
• 271soniah (10/5): A Little Gem. - We really chose this Premier Inn for convenience of its location. We were in Wales for a family funeral and we wanted the reliability of Premier Inn. You know what you're getting. It is very handy for the major routes and plenty of parking and price was excellent. And we had a great stay. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were lovely. Couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We hadn't booked breakfast but they made room for us and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.
