Staff are helpful and welcoming on check in. Breakfast at Beefeater was lovely but wouldn't have dinner if we stayed again(tasteless and dry). Short distance by car to Lemon Quay for shopping and restaurants.

• BeckyPrust (8/5): Perfect for a stayover! - A nice little hotel that's great for a stayover. Finding the hotel was easy enough and then getting up to the reception desk was as well. The self check-in kiosks weren't working so we had to buzz for someone, but we were only waiting about a minute until someone came and checked us in. The room itself was large, clean, and suitable for what we needed. We came back quite late after being out and getting back in with our key card was easy enough. All in all, a nice hotel!

• 369aidenm (10/5): Review of employee - One women stood out in particular named Tracy. I had a formal meal and stressed about sorting out my tie. Tracy with a bright beautiful smile came over to help. She said she was unsure but tied it exceptionally well. I was flattered when she said “you scrub up quite well”. Tracy 100% deserves a pay rise and the best treatment from all customers.

• 761peterw761 (6/5): a bit disappointing - As always, excellent staff, friendly and professional and the beds wonderful For us the Car parking arriving in the dark after a 5hour drive was very tiresome and not clear and took over half an hour to find a space some 100 yards away. Room was cold and it took too long to sort this. Tea/coffee room facilities was just 2 coffee sachets and 2 tea (we do not drink tea). Bar lager was served up in the bottle, we asked for glasses. Breakfast advertised 7am no coffee available until 7.50 but was good when it did arrive. Main cooked meal was not hot!. Our previous experiences of Premier Inn has always been excellent, sadly not on this occasion.
• louisez352 (10/5): Comfortable Weekend stay - We've just come back from a great weekend stay for the university open day. It is very conveniently located for the Penryn campus. The staff here were fantastic, super helpful and friendly. The hotel itself could do with some updating it looks a little tired on the outside with a faded sign. But overall a great stay and would stay here again if we're down this way again.

• RandomOpinion (4/5): Overpriced and disappointing - We've stayed at this hotel a few times. This was definitely our worst experience and we will probably not return. We felt it was looking tired, and there was an air of "not bothering to look after the guests". We were there for 3 nights. Our room wasn't serviced in that time. It was not made clear to us that we would need to ask for this if we wanted it (if they even did that). Bathroom smelled musty. (Our other family members staying there had a worse experience of musty bathroom to us.) Our toilet seat wasn't the correct one for the toilet bowl. Other family members reported the same for their toilets. There was building work going on, which we were notified about, but we didn't expect all the trades vehicles to be parked in the guest spaces, when we could see a nice area they had fenced off that they could have parked in. The food was acceptable and service mostly ok, but for what we paid we felt it was overpriced and they need to take a serious look at what they're offering and the price. I'm sure my other family members won't be returning either. The chairs in the bar area of the Beefeater were in need of repair. Note, this hotel does not have a lift, but we were on the ground floor this time.

We stayed in one of the new Premier Rooms .. absolutely fantastic...very comfortable bed . lovely powerful shower, fridge and coffee machine Very reasonably priced for half term weekend The breakfast was very good, if a bit hectic due the number of guests .Felt sorry for the overworked staff Yet again another excellent stay

• adamstevo1 (10/5): I will stay here on my next visit to Tring! - The Premier in at Tring was a very pleasant experience. The premier room was lovely. Plenty of space with a comfortable bed, not too firm a mattress and not too soft. That and the lack of noise disturbance made for a sound couple of nights sleep. The view, to the north, of fields and hills, from the bedroom window was very nice too. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and professional. Always greeting their guests with a smile. A big “thank you” to all of them. I can surely say that I have now found my hotel for my next visit to Tring.
• D5829HTstephenh (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend this hotel, based on other Premier Inns stays. - Hotel just not up to expected standard of other Premier Inns. The corridor by the room smelt of damp, the WiFi is absolutely useless, both the free and Ultimate version, kept dropping out continuously and signal strength very low in the room for both, it wouldn’t stay by connected for more than several minutes at a time, made working impossible as mobile signal, even the reception staff said how poor and u reliable it is.! The mobile signal in the hotel was not good so I couldn’t hotspot. Also very disappointed with the food, so many chargeable extras now on the meal deal and the quality of food was poor, avoid the Chicken and Rib combo, the chicken is like processed rubber, I couldn’t eat it. Compared to the standard of the Premier Inn in Avonmouth where I stayed for five weeks the Premier Inn in Tring is miles apart and has heavily disappointed me, and, I’m here for the next three weeks.!

• cherveeadriano (10/5): Best stay! - Everybody is very friendly and helpful and we like the fact that the parking is free for customers who checked in. We also prefer some vegetarian options for breakfast and restaurant staff were very helpful and cooked us vegan bacon and sausage.
• bloodymary_13 (4/5): Great reception staff, terrible mobile reception and wifi - Great Location for Tring and really easy to get to from A41. Big car park. Reception staff really efficient and informative. Standard premier rooms. Mould growing on hand dispenser. WiFi terrible , DON’T rely on it and what is worse mobile reception seemed to be blocked. None of us could make calls from our rooms, reception was intermittent. We had to keep going down to reception area or the car park to make calls or pick up what’s app messages. People had been smoking in non smoking areas as corridors had strong smell of smoke. This experience was not value for money at £100 a night!! One of the worse premier inn stays I’ve had!
• 83jennye (6/5): OK stay. - Good value for money. Well placed hotel. Entrance sign is needed. We couldn't find the entrance door easily when we arrived in the dark! No hairdryer or extra pillows in the room. They were in the middle of renovation but that didn't affect our stay.
• beckycI6711IS (6/5): Needs a refurb but staff were lovely - Staff were great, rooms could do with some improvement and our view from the window was a brick wall. Rooms smelt damp and instead of a bedside table I was given a bar stool which made me laugh! Parts of the room were falling apart like the edges of the shelves etc. My son's bed was rock hard but the other beds were comfortable. Location is great for a short drive to the beach but not many shops or anything around in walking distance.

• tab9275 (10/5): Excellent stay highly recommended - A frequent stayer. Love this premier inn. Its locality and the surrounding area. Always a friendly greeting and rooms are always spotless. Nice touch with the personal message and mini chocolates left in our room too.
• 171geoffr (6/5): Chaotic - My wife and I, who live in the area, went for breakfast. We were astonished at the restaurant manager who was utterly overworked and rushed from one task to the next just about keeping things going. We don't know how he coped.

Restaurant was really good, had a great deal on, main, pudding and drink £16 brilliant value and nice food! Staff really nice and helpful. Special shout out to Tess, receptionist and in the restaurant, she couldn't do enough for us. Really kind and helpful, even left a chocolate and a note wishing my daughter good luck in her competition. Thankyou again to her. Parking was ok, it does get busy as the car park is also shared with cinema and restaurants but the multi story across the road is free and I managed to get my t5 van in, just, and then moved it back to the car park out the front around 11pm ready for the early morning start. Have stayed here twice now, and will book again next year. Brilliant location with m&s 2 min walk away.
• D1rtd1ver (4/5): Premier Inn/Beefeater Truro - My wife and I stayed in a Premium Plus room at the Premier Inn in Truro, and sadly it fell well short of expectations. On arrival the welcome was unenthusiastic, setting the tone for the stay. The heating didn’t work, the toilet roll holder fell off the wall, and overall the room felt tired and poorly maintained. For a “premium” upgrade, it was very underwhelming. We were also not informed at the time of booking that builders would be on site, which added to the disruption. The adjoining Beefeater pub was equally disappointing. Service was slow and disorganised — we waited 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived the steak was not cooked as requested and the presentation was poor. For the price, the quality was far below what we’ve experienced at other Premier Inns and Beefeaters. Overall, a very disappointing stay that did not justify the “Premium Plus” label.

• sxr1972 (6/5): Dated and run down - Very old un-modernised hotel. It’s so dated old and I felt uncomfortable even not having my slippers on. The one positive I would say the staff from reception was lovely . And whilst the room was very dated and worn out, it was reasonably clean .

I had an accessible room with a wetroom which was very well equipped with safety rails and call button. The bedroom was comfortable, parking plentiful, and a handy Beefeater next door, although service there was very slow because of lack of staff.

The man serving breakfast was telling us all the good places locally to go with kids. Food was good really good prices for a family and the rooms were set up perfectly they were able to get our rooms together which was a life saver when traveling with my wife and our 4 kids
• MrsTboy (4/5): Chaotic - A bit below average sadly. Room is what you pay for, basic, not overly clean. Decent premier inn mattress but no windows to open and not a fully functional air conditioner. Dinner was an utter shambles, 2 members of staff, serving, checking customers in, washing pots and taking orders. Only 4 tables in the restaurant were occupied, huge delay in order being taken, incorrect order came. Quality of the food not good, microwave lasagne made for an interesting night… once up In our room we had a tap on the door from a waitress asking for more money as we had things to eat out of the meal deal!? A lot of food choices and drinks sold out. All felt very chaotic. Breakfast was standard. Car park wasn’t easy and very busy, lovely park to walk across opposite the hotel. All in all a quick pit stop to lay the head but won’t return sadly

• S3660KOtomb (4/5): Awful! - Air-Conditioning not working. Only on second night did they offer a fans. Hallway stank of mould and other poor smells. Staff argumentative and wouldn't move you. Instead argued and threatening behaviour. Completely unprofessional. Would avoid in future and would advise against staying.

• sarahtY8053IA (2/5): - I am really disappointed in how this hotel is ran, the manager natalie was so rude, shouting at the staff, clearly has no regards to the guests hearing this, its not very appropiate way a hotel should be ran. Regardless of the rude manager the room was clean and tidy, food was okay had better.
• stevenpY5277RW (2/5): Truly awful - ⭐☆☆☆☆ Truly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Premier Inn – never again. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this visit to Premier Inn Trowbridge was beyond unacceptable. The staff were clearly untrained and had no idea what they were doing. We were served awful food, and to top it off, we were charged for a dish we didn’t even order. Later in the evening, both staff and hotel management banged on our door demanding £2.99 – a completely inappropriate and unprofessional move. A waitress brought her child into work, who was then climbing over furniture and rearranging tables while guests were still eating. We were asked, bizarrely, if we wanted ice in our beer, and when we inquired about the menu, the response was, “We’re not really sure how it works this evening.” Seriously? The whole experience felt like a complete joke. I’ve stayed at many Premier Inns over the years and had decent experiences, but this was a total disaster from start to finish. Avoid this place at all costs.
• royhT5405BZ (10/5): Good service to elderly couple. - My partner's elderly mother and partner stayed at the Premier Inn Tring for a couple of nights. Both have mobility issues and the staff were helpful in allowing us to bring our car close to the lodge when dropping or collecting them and when the staff found out it was a birthday celebration they left some things in the room as a nice surprise on the evening of the birthday for the birthday 'girl' to enjoy.

Amazing staff, especially Andreea who went out of her way to help us with a package and organising us a connecting room. Highly recommend.

• lindseymE7937QG (2/5): Make sure you ask NOT to have an adjoining room - My daughter and I stayed here the night before her d of e exhibition. The receptionist was clearly not happy in her job. The room we were given has a locked door to the room next door. I didn't think anything of it however, the person staying in that room kept his TV on all night and it was loud. He also kept having coughing fits. We didn't get any sleep all night. The breakfast was pretty bad, it wasn't helpful yourself, we ordered our cooked breakfast which came out in bits and pieces. My sausage came separate from the rest of my food. I had finished my food as they brought the sausage out cold. Would not stay here again.
• N1560OZdarrenm (10/5): A great overnight stop - Every Premier Inn should have a Maryna. Checked me in with a smile, then sorted out my WiFi issues that I needed to work. Then again when I realised I had forgotten my toothbrush & toothpaste she was straight on sorting my problem out. As for the rest....Room as you'd expect clean tidy a decent standard. Next door is the beefeater so food and drink on tap. I had a mixed grill, great value for the price. Manager was good but my waitress could do with a lesson on customer service and how to engage without frowning. In short a decent overnight work related stop, Maryna made the whole stay brilliant.

The rooms are very good for the price. The restaurant has quite a bit of options, friendly staff as well. Everyone made me feel very welcome.
• 991mickw (2/5): very uncomfortable beds ,no alternative options - most aspects of the stay were quite adequate for a short stay , however we stayed 3 nights and found the beds appalling , very hard ,a hard bed with a simple topper , so bad were the mattresses we went to go outdoors 25 miles away and bought 2 berghaus self inflating foam/air mattresses , these transformed the bed to a supper comfy bed ,we will take these with us wherever we stay from now on , Premier staff were good but could not help as they had no alternative mattress /topper options , as sleep is the main reason for staying at accommodation it s very very poor that the beds were so poor , defiantly not to the same quality as new travel lodge rooms , won't be choosing premier inn again if we can help it

I highly recommend it! It was an ideal base for exploring the area, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return the next time I’m in town.

The staff go above and beyond to make it comfortable and to meet the needs of every client that walks through the door. A 2 storey building with stairs to 1st floor. Accessible rooms on ground floor. • LindseyM923 (2/5): Make sure you ask NOT to have an adjoining room - We were put in a room with an adjoining door and the neighbour was very noisy, had the TV on the entire night. We didn't get a restful sleep. The interior of our room needs parts fixing, panel under sink falling off and chipped paintwork. The restaurant was shabby and the cooked breakfast very poor.

The room had a wonderful view across the countryside, the room was so quiet. Breakfast was good, a great way to start the day. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
