• KelPhi83 (10/5): Great stay - Lovely hotel. We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff who checked us in swiftly. We didn’t need food during our stay so cannot give review on it. Can say the restaurant gets busy. A family who checked in before us could only get a very early breakfast and earliest they could have dinner was 9pm. If you can try and book in advance. We stayed after a visit to Bath Christmas market. Not too far to travel and then a short visit to Cheddar the next day. Hotel room was very clean. We couldn’t hear noise from other rooms but people seemed to forget that people can hear them walking, running and screaming down the hallway. This isn’t the hotels thought just inconsiderate guests. We stayed at the back of the hotel on the first floor so traffic noise was minimal. Plenty of parking available just remember to validate your parking on the tablet in reception. Quick note to Premier Inn. 2 yea bags is definitely not enough in the room. We are big tea drinkers. It wasn’t too big a problem as we couldn’t just pop down to reception for more but a few more in the room would be nice. Overall very happy with our stay and would stay again here if we were heading that way.
• jackiewrapson (6/5): Not the greatest - Warm welcome but floor creaked and so do the upstairs room so kept me awake on and off throughout the night . Breakfast booked at 10am but no orange juice and not re filed and hash browns and eggs were cold.toaster turned off at 10-15 so no toast either
• JazEmily (4/5): Disappointing - Really disappointed in the whole experience, firstly no on was on the desk at check in so couldn’t book a table for breakfast, which we quickly learned was a big inconvenience as they struggled to fit us in. That brings me to the food. Paid extra to have breakfast included, waited 30 minutes for vegan sausages which had to ask 3 different members of staff for before even being acknowledged despite them being in the menu. No veggie bacon either. The room was clean, but the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall.

• I5860WGsueb (8/5): Overall good except a very cold fried breakfast - Room was lovely and very comfy.evening meal was absolutely delicious, however the cooked breakfast and coffee were cold , the whole lot including fried eggs were cold. I advised a member of staff whose reply was really rude and never came to clear the table while we were there ! We only wanted to let them know! Its a shame as the food looked delicious.

The room was clean and very comfortable with a good bed and bathroom. It was an ideal overnight stay prior to flying from Gatwick South Terminal.
• nk12butler (8/5): Over Night Stay - Stayed here after being at Longleat Safari Park for the festival of light. Check in was smooth and quick. After we found our room we went to the beefeater attached and had a good dinner. Will be back again
• Katetaymills (2/5): NO SLEEP - DON'T DO IT - DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO SLEEP BEFORE AN EARLY FLIGHT ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. I usually only review places when I can be positive but I have to warn others that this is right next to an events venue so there was really loud (booming bass) party noise until midnight. The hotel is clean and has everything you expect in a Premier Inn. The staff are really nice but when we asked to move rooms they said they were full. When we asked to be moved to a nearby Premier Inn they said it was not possible but gave me a number to ring for a refund afterwards. Premier Inn guest services refused to take any responsibility as they say that under their terms and conditions it doesn't fall under their good night sleep guarantee. So yeh, don't stay here on the weekend if you want to sleep.

• G5366LZmichelleb (2/5): Noisy and sleepless - Sad hotel, needs a major refurb. The room was noisy until the early hours. No air conditioning, heat only. The car park signage is nonexistent along with car park lighting. Leaving in the dark was difficult as there were no signs to the exit at all. When we spoke to reception about the noisy room and asked to be moved we were told they couldn’t move us and handed us a website address so we could complain. That wasn’t very helpful as we needed a good night’s sleep, not a website address.

• Splinterhawk (10/5): Excellent place to stay - Me and my wife stopped here for two days and I must say from start to finish our stay was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and there was plenty of parking. It is sited within easy reach of longleat ,bath etc.so it's a good base to start from. It's next to a beefeater and the food is excellent but book all your meals when you book your stay to avoid disappointment .
• elmo78 (4/5): Depressing - We booked premier plus rooms and they were shabby, run down and lacking in the comfort snd luxury you would expect by forking out extra money to upgrade to these. Our room didn’t have a toilet roll holder on the wall and the cleaning staff neglected to provide full rolls for us, instead having to use the scraps that were left. My mum’s room was missing the remote control so she couldn’t watch tv. We raised these concerns as well as requesting a fan. Even though the room had an aircon unit, it only went down to 19 degrees. The poor lady at the reception seemed to be working alone so tried her best to sort out things where she could but there was no offer of refunds or free drinks to make up for these issues. The fan never turned up but i see from other posts that they received one so god knows where it went?! The Beefeater restaurant service was slow and painful and they seemed to have run out of a lot of items- on a Monday night?! As other posters mentioned, the proximity to Longleat was the biggest draw to this hotel and was the only real bonus. Thank goodness we only had one night here!
• sopaca (10/5): Great location, decent price, excellent bed and pillows - all we wanted - We wanted a hotel within walking distance of Gatwick as we had an early morning International flight. The Premier Inn was perfect - it was literally yards from the Sky Train (between the two terminals) station and the price didn't break the bank. As ever, a decent, clean room with a suburb bed and decent pillows. We walked less than five minutes back into the South Terminal and had a great dinner at Giraffe which is handily before security. All in all, a great start to our holiday.
• 320sarahr (4/5): Beware No coy mattress - Stayed with my partner and 18 month old. No mattress provided in the travel cot. Said its company policy not to provide them. This was not stated when booking or on the confirmation. This needs to be much clearer. Not sure how making a makeshift mattress from a duvet and towels is safer for my little boy than the actual mattress. Advice note given from the hotel says not to use any other cot mattress not designed for that specific cot…!! Yet they don’t provide one! We won’t be back with premier inn if this the policy. Ridiculous when every other hotel we’ve stayed in can provide one.
• kayleighw806 (10/5): Great value hotel with free parking and wifi - Really good value for money! Lovely comfy beds, free parking and free WiFi. This premier inn is great and still has a full restaurant for breakfast/dinner. Rooms were great, very modern and everything works well. Tiny negative is WiFi can be slow but it's free and doesn't impact the stay at all. We stayed in a family room and had lots of space. Slept beautifully too! Easy to park for. Check in was really easy, they've added new check in machines which work well too.
• jjN5443ZL (10/5): Always A Great Stay! - Cara is an amazing asset to your team. I checked in pretty late in the evening with an unhappy little one. To be greeted by a genuine smile and an actual conversation. The small things do go a long way. The rooms are always neatly presented. Travel cot or bed guard are provided at no extra expense. I have stayed in this establishment multiple times and I will continue to do so on all of my visits. Thank you for making our evening Cara!

• SouthernVectis (8/5): Beefeater in need of TLC - No problems with the room it appeared to have been refurbished. Shame we can't say the same about the Beefeater. Sadly needing an upgrade. Some of the seating was badly torn and alot of wear on tear on show throughout. Food was good the meal deal is good value but be warned if you want scrambled eggs you have to ask.
• Naschcu (2/5): Room Smelled Revolting - The exterior looks tired and tatty, which nearly made me drive away. The interior is marginally better yet the endless brown corridors are depressing. The room I had was on the second floor. It smelt disgusting. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was spotless yet the room smelt of sweat and dirty socks, just revolting. There isn’t any air conditioning and only one tiny window so access to fresh air is limited. The only positive was they hadn’t tried to mask the smell with air fresheners.
• Lordalf4587 (4/5): Premier inn, less of the premier. - Quite externally run down in appearance plus half the carpark was flooded after some fairly light rain. Internally a little outdated but ok. Staff were helpful. Our room smelt musty and damp although very clean. The mattress was comfy but the pillows awful and a lot of residual noise from the next floor up during the night. All in all not what you would expect. Good location for the airport however.
• carolhX3641LS (6/5): It’s all about the timing!! - Visited as an overnight stay before the airport the next day. Second time we have used this hotel sadly this time not as good. Check in was great nice staff. Room was generally good but had a big issue with the bedding it had dirty marks and the duvet cover was torn not what I expect the issues were obvious when the bed was made earlier. Checkout not great we arrived at 6:25 for the start of breakfast at 6:30 told off by the receptionist who was not friendly. Lady chef was great super friendly helpful and welcoming. Said it all when we handed in the key to be told bye, clearly don’t ask if everything was ok. Sorry we upset your early staff with a five minute timing issue will look at another premier inn next time such a shame we were very happy with this one before.

Young man on Reception at 1.00am last night and again all the staff in the breakfast area - give 100%. Many thanks and especially for the freshly cooked eggs, sausages and tomatoes! Thanks also for helping us with a coffee to "go" for our onward journey. We will be back. Maureen & Peter
• 892rebecca (4/5): Bed bugs! - Booked for 1 night as we had an early morning flight. We saw an infestation company van parked at the hotel which made us a little nervous- the exterior of the building did not look pleasant and a little run down. When we arrived and checked into our room, we found blood on the bed sheets. Reception staff were very apologetic and changed the bedding straight away. However, these new sheets were still not completely clean and I found dark black spots on the duvet covers- sadly it was bed bug excrement as we later found out… Towels were also dirty and had makeup stains which we discovered early hours of the morning when getting up for our flight. Therefore we didn’t bring this issue to the attention of reception staff. Later on during the day after we had checked out, both myself and my partner are covered in bed bug bites from our stay! Unfortunately we will never stay here again and would rather pay the extra money to go elsewhere; despite the room costing us £100. I would not say our stay was worth this money whatsoever…
• P8752ZNpeterm (6/5): Simple things let it down a bit - Generally average, Had issues with hot water, and the evening meal experience was slow and disjointed. Other than that, it was a room, with a bed so it served the purpose.
• Z3224VFnatashad (8/5): Nice stay - Really nice welcome on arrival, we booked a premier plus room and was good value for money. Slept really well and room was mostly clean, just a small mark on one of the pillows. We would return.
• Coastal570666 (4/5): Honest Marketing? - The marketing of this Premier Inn London Gatwick South is deceptive. In fact it is a 30 minute shuttle bus journey to the South Terminal or a £20 taxi fare. In reality this 'Gatwick South' hotel should be marketed as 'Gatwick North' in my opinion. It would be more honest to make this clear.
• Q6984LXtonia (10/5): Excellent staff, lovely breakfast, comfy beds. - Stayed the night before we flew, way cheaper than south terminal one. Beds lovely, rooms clean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff amazing - especially the chef serving, she couldn’t do enough for you! Offering all kinds of eggs nothing too much trouble. Also the guy clearing kept it spotless and always smiling. A lovely start to a holiday and a little gem made wonderful by its staff.
• KRBells (8/5): OK stay - Stayed for a 1 night stay as we were going to Longleat the following day. Good stay, staff really lovely, room spacious enough for what we needed, comfy bed, good shower, rooms were quiet, a little above average price for stay. There were some negatives but that was from the Restaurant/Beefeater side which is a shame as this is attached to Premier Inn. There was no ice all day and a soft drink from the pump was flat, so a warm flat drink was not the best. All the female staff were really lovely and helpful, the one gentleman behind the bar was more interested in sitting in the office which is right beside the bar on his phone than serving any customers. Food was ok for Dinner, mixed grill was missing sausages that was on the menu but didn't mention it as was unsure if we read it right but noticed on the menu after and yes there were missing. Breakfast the following morning was cold and only choice of fried eggs no other choice on offer. Carpets were dirty definitely hadn't been vacuumed from the night before.
• Happiness45521318118 (10/5): Best choice for an airport close to Gatwick Airport - We have stayed at this Premier Inn twice in the last two weeks. Once before our holiday and last night upon our return. The outside of the building and the grounds need a little investment but the warmth starts as soon as you arrive at the reception desk. All staff are very pleasant and helpful but a special mention to Janis who looked after us at breakfast this morning and to chef who made us some lovely porridge with Soya milk. The rooms are up to the usual high standard and the hotel, while close to the airport, doesn’t suffer from any aircraft noise. If you book early it’s also very good value.

• Karanthomas2019 (2/5): So disappointed. - DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL. We have just been fined £100 for one night stay. We input our registration number into the machine in the hotel foyer. Rang the hotel they said nothing to do with them it’s a private parking company!! No food facility at the hotel, there is a pub opposite, it’s dark, dingy and food is dreadful. So disappointed with the hotel for not helping with this £100 fine! DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL ITS DREADFUL.
• Y1401VLalang (4/5): Poor - Uncomfortable bed rock hard pillows dirty bed sheets tried to speak to a member of staff wasn’t interested, Travelled with my pregnant daughter when we arrived we were too early to check in asked to use a toilet for her to be told no we don’t have any asked if she could quickly use the room again told no not helpful what so ever
• vettv2025 (10/5): God blessed me here through Rit's good service - Rit is an amazing front desk host. She went above and beyond to help me 3 different times in one night. Once at check in getting me the proper room. Second she returned my z fold phone I sleepily left at the front desk and thirdly helping me track down a runaway Pizza 🍕. I mean she truly is a blessing. Thank you so much!
• chrismV5651SL (10/5): Very good - Clean, quiet and comfortable room with good sized bed and good bedding. Decent sized shower with good toiletries and drink making facilities available. Super reception staff more than willing to help in any way. Free car parking after entering your car registration in lobby.
• F6473TIdavidc (10/5): Convenient and comfortable. - A convenient and comfortable stay with a clean room and copious amounts of hot water. Although the signs off the dual carriageway to the hotel were difficult to see in the dark, once found the hotel was well lit and the reception easy to find.
