Guest Reviews
- Camilla (10/5): - Gode senger
- Asha Priyadarshini (10/5): - Staff were wonderful and honest , check in was easy and free parking for the night was very good.
- mollydoggy (8/5): Disappointing Unlimited breakfast - I should start by saying I had a great night sleep and the bed was comfortable.
Clean room and good shower. The staff were welcoming also and free parking is a bonus. Good location for street and glastonbury. Has an aldi close by
My only complaint was the breakfast. I paid 10.99 for the unlimited deal but found the brewers fayre next door seemed to have run out of most of the pastries and fruit. As a vegetarian I was also told I would have to preorder vegetarian sausages or veggie bacon. It was chaotic and the food was below average I'm afraid.
- samwN4715MV (10/5): Brill - Amazing room! Entering the room was very nice and clean and fresh.
Great touches to the room!
Chlo left her name on the slip and just wanted to give her a very big thank you.
- jodW7556LH (2/5): Let down at breakfast - I stayed here for work and had a meal deal. The evening meal was fantastic however the whole experience was ruined by the lady who was in the restaurant at breakfast. I waited at the counter to be seated for at least 10 minutes then decided I needed to eat as I had work really soon. I was greeted with a grimace from this woman and I then gave my room number. I told her I was waiting a while to which she responded shouting across the restaurant “IM ON MY OWN “……I wish I’d said…frankly I don’t care…I’m the customer but I just got my breakfast and left. It’s not hard to keep an eye on who is waiting….very rude woman and let the whole stay down. She also failed to ask about food allergies.
- Road33817148031 (10/5): Great stay - Fantastic room was clean, I didn’t eat because I went to the maccies across the road! But the service was great, Recpetion team was quick! Shower was powerful
- dougbA7578XP (10/5): Absolutely superb 5star - Premier inn was very good
Worth a stay
Would stay again
Defo worth a stay really good
Easy to get to good parking and book the restaurant it was ace
- dee1982dee (2/5): Avoid - The family room given to us was covered in black mould. No one ever on reception to get moved either, after two nights managed to get the 3rd night in a new room. The bar area is dirty , tables are sticky as not cleaned properly. Would not recommend this hotel at all.
- AlanK348 (4/5): Awful noise from adjacent room(s) - The room was generally fine apart from a badly peeling counter edge. It was large (not complaining about that) but it made it seem under-furnished and a bit unwelcoming. Nice, clean, recently refurbished bathroom. Good water pressure in the shower. BUT: awful noise from room above, continuous clumping and bumping from feet. and at 5:30 in the morning a fan started up with a noise like a rocket and was still running when I left the room at 9am. And more clumping from above. No way I could get back to sleep. Dreadful night. They couldn't move me for the second night (hotel was full) which fortunately was less noisy.
- Dreamer01171895184 (2/5): Hotel needs a full refurbishment and better maintenance - I really don’t understand the recent good reviews. Staff is nice and area is convenient. I had to stay there a few times for work and every time room was cold, very noisy radiator, black mould and dust on walls in the bedroom (room on top floor) and in the bathroom.
They are currently refurbishing the elevator but should really refurbish the whole place!
Very disappointed, usually premier inn are better than this.
- X2847MAclairer (8/5): Visit with granddaughters - Hotel clean Room clean and comfortable Staff very friendly and approach Restaurant also good and service good Would recommend and I would book again
- 840barryy (10/5): Stay - Richard & Alice excellent service !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clean hotel as ever. All good !!!!!!. I stay here very often it’s very good
- 424billw (10/5): Clean, comfy, good value and cheery staff. - Typical Premier Inn, clean, comfy, with very friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking, and hotel handy for town centre. We took advantage of a recent cheap price deal with inclusive breakfasts.
- 975momol (2/5): Bad first impression and didn’t feel safe - Stayed at Premier Inn Glastonbury and felt unsafe from arrival. Caravans outside gave a poor first impression. Reception was unmanned late at night, leaving me vulnerable as a woman with teenager. Around 1am, loud noise and banging outside my room came from staff in hoody, including the regional manager, moving towel trolleys, trolleys left outside room (not safe if there was a fire) and talking loudly. I opened my door to speak to them but received no apology or refund for a sleepless night. Four days later, still no response from the regional manager. Extremely disappointing experience — felt unsafe, ignored, and would not recommend staying here. Positives lady on reception lovely. I imagine poor chap in photo was just following managers instructions.
- Seaside824457 (6/5): Good value - Very big room with decent bed. Very clean apart from bathroom which needed a deeper clean. Plenty of space and very good design for practical space etc. Unfortunately, can't open window so the air conditioning was on and very noisy at night. Otherwise, excellent value for money.
- 65giselaj (10/5): Great experience - I have stayed at many Premier Inns in Great Britain but have to say that the Premier Inn in Glastonbury is definitely my favourite. It is the staff who make it such a great experience. They are all unfailingly attentive and courteous and no request is too much trouble. My thanks to everybody in Premier Inn in Glastonbury.
- greenfiddler2 (10/5): Comfortable stay - We stayed here one night on route to Devon. Our Premier Plus room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The staff at the attached pub were also friendly and the new menu catered for all tastes . The food we chose was well presented and tasty.
- 1dustyrhodes (10/5): Superb. - BRILLIANT, as always twice a year for Clarks, never ever disappointed.
Friendly. charming staff, very welcoming.
My fault, did not realise that glasses were not on the welcoming tray.
So useful for our meds.
Now I know will make sure I take a couple up from the welcome tray in the foyer.
Clean and fresh linen, brilliant stay.
- marielenas138 (10/5): Great value for money, can't fault it - Great location for the town. Plenty of parking. Shop within walking distance. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was great, well appointed and very clean. It was warm even without the heating on but the heating / air con / fan worked really well. It was comfortable and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay again.
- B6115TIsarahc (10/5): Comfortable - Very clean and comfortable . Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities convenient and excellent . Restaurant on site pleasant . Check in easy but prior check in not available.
- katebQ5870NZ (10/5): Glastonbury adventure - Clean, tidy room. Had a family room which felt more spacious than other family rooms we have stayed in.
All staff in the Premier Inn and restaurant were so kind and helpful, especially Mel on reception who made me and my daughter feel very welcome.
- Di01234 (10/5): Very Good - After reading the reviews I was a bit wary after booking this but could not have been happier, the room was spotless, the beds as usual were extremely comfortable.
The check in and check out were seamless, heard no noise from the garage/mcdonalds opposite, if I needed to stay in the future I would return.
- Cardboar (10/5): Ideal location - Perfect location for the Clark’s shopping village, also to break your journey to Centre Parcs , so you can arrive there at a reasonable time
- AndieH (10/5): Does exactly what it says on the tin - excellent! - One of the reasons I book with Premier Inn is that I really like to know what I am getting! This one is no exception - as always, it's very good value for money. As an added bonus, it's well set back from the road so it's blissfully quiet at night. We stayed for 3 nights - Suzanne was on reception for part of our stay and is such a lovely welcoming person. Breakfast was a particular highlight - efficient, friendly smiley service and a delicious selection. We would certainly stay again and are happy to recommend it.
- niggleyn (8/5): You get what you pay for - Location covered by many others and yes, exiting the car park is very dangerous onto quite a busy road.
Waited quite some time in Reception. When assistant arrived asked if we had pressed the bell! She then discovered it was not working. We had a ground floor room, but it was at the end of a very, very long corridor. Anyone with mobility issues should be made aware of such a hike.
On entering the room it appeared clean and tidy, however we discovered the upright chair appeared to have some sort of spillage or mould on it and you could write your name in the dust/dirt on the seat bars. It needed a darn good clean. The same dusty mould was also on the easy chair. Despite this we had a good night's sleep, though rather warm.
You get what you pay for!
Breakfast in Beefeater was OK. As expected for a buffet, some things could be Hotter. All a bit bland.
- Christine (6/5): - We were a little disappointed about the location. It really was not walkable to the downtown area. The restaurant next door told us that we needed a reservation to eat there from the hotel...and they never asked us about where we wanted to eat. The worst thing was that the hot water was STUCK on scalding and we could not adjust it...so the shower was worthless to us and dangerous at that. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
- esp101 (4/5): Disappointing Premier Inn - Booked a Premier Plus room here for a 1 night stay after shopping in Clarks Village.
The hotel entrance was marred by lines of old and grubby looking caravans on the road by the hotel. This is directly outside the hotel and carpark and made us very wary of leaving our car here.
The reception area was clean and modern but the lady who checked us in was very dis-interested and we had to ask her about booking a table for breakfast the following morning.
Our room was on the top floor and was clean and tidy but there was only 1 bath towel so we had to share.
The next morning we strolled over to the Brewyers Fayre pub next door which there was no signage showing us where to go. It was a large pub with lots of seating and one lady trying to welcome and seat all the customers. It was a full buffet breakfast for both hot and cold food. The hot food was mediocre to put it mildly. The bacon was undercooked to the point of almost being raw, the mushrooms were dark and rubbery, the scrambled egg was hard and the fried eggs were swimming in oil. It had been all sitting around for a long time.
The coffee machine produced a lukewarm latte.
The server did not come across once to ask if we were ok or if there was anything she could help us with. It was just a cursory it’s a buffet so help yourself. We left hungry and underwhelmed.
I would not use this Premier Inn again and if anyone decides to do not have breakfast.
- sandradT2321JW (10/5): Excellent - Excellent hotel
Guy on reception was very welcoming. Lovely warm , clean comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Fantastic breakfast.Well run breakfast room.
Breakfast staff friendly and efficient
Excellent stay
- M8085FSdenised (4/5): D. Downie October 26 - Staff pleasant on arrival, changed room for disabled room on groundfloor as lift was broken and no other rooms available.
Room had mushrooms growing in it at 2 walls.
Breakfast - sausages were cremated burnt black, mushrooms cold and black pudding greasy.
Vending machine in lobby of hotel was out of order.
Will not be back.
- SuziEdwards (4/5): Sadly deteriorated - I stay here a lot for work. It's unfortunate that it's gone downhill terribly. Exit and entry is dangerously blind due to the huge amount of vans and caravans parked in the road outside - right up to the entrance. It's also now quite nerve wracking leaving the car in the carpark with all the random folk living in the road. It's now not a place I'd feel safe walking alone after dark. The staff were lovely, and helpful - clearly doing the best they can but I had to return a pillow that was stained with mould. The place was packed so they didn't have a replacement for me until the next day. This was in a premier plus room. The coffee machine stopped working and was replaced. The replacement leaked everywhere so I gave up with it. The room was far too hot and incredibly stuffy. The air con didn't seem to help. The windows are sealed, not even opening an inch for fresh air. I'm seriously considering staying in the next town in future, which isn't ideal as my work is based in Glastonbury itself. Very disappointed with the way the place has deteriorated.
- Explore778354 (10/5): Convenient location, friendly staff - Convenient to the motorway and Uddingston. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Located next to garage and MacDonalds
- joshrD7131EY (4/5): Weekend Stay - The staff were very friendly, that was a positive. Unfortunately the rooms felt run down, and they strongly smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We are non-smokers.
- KatySurrey (8/5): Noisy neighbours! - I've stayed here many times. It's a great location for Glasgow and the countryside around. It's always comfortable. The staff are always helpful. Unfortunately the guests above my room were very noisy on 2 of my 3 nights. Hard to understand how people can be so inconsiderate.
- O6020KQsteveng (10/5): 10/10++++++ - Excellent friendly staff room was spotless excellent food and fantastic breakfast would highly recommend the best premier I've stayed at top marks 10/10 +++++++++++
- Getaway02622604010 (2/5): Undesirable location - Haven't checked in yet but didn't expect to be saying in a homeless camp in a warehouse district. I would not have expected that from the trip advisor info.
- E8180PImarkh (10/5): Perfect Stay for a Business Trip - I stayed at the Premier Inn Glasgow Bearsden while on a business trip and it was exactly what I needed after a long day. The location is great, the staff are friendly and welcoming and having a pub right next door made it easy to relax in the evening. Comfortable, convenient, and excellent value, I’d happily stay again.
- cmbdeas (8/5): Noisy neighbours!!! Comfortable room. - I've stayed at The Premier Inn, Bearsden many times. I've always been comfortable and the staff are always friendly and attentive. This visit was no exception.
On 2 of my 3 nights' stay, however, the guests in the room above were very noisy. Thumping loudly until 1am. It's so inconsiderate. The staff apologised but I suppose there's not much they can do at one o'clock in the morning.
I agree the brambles and plants are overspilling onto the paths and stairs outside. They need trimming back ASAP.
- Z539BYneilm (10/5): Great 👍 - What a great place. Very helpful staff on reception. The food was cooked perfect the breakfast was just great and as normal the staff couldn't have been better.
- SCott (10/5): - Great service. The front desk was great. Room was clean and service at the restaurant was top drawer.
- alexlP7975JM (10/5): Pure Comfort and Outstanding Service - From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional—warm, professional, and personal without being overbearing. The room was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. The facilities were outstanding: a serene spa, well-equipped gym, and a beautiful pool area that felt like an oasis. Dining was a highlight—delicious, varied menus with fresh local ingredients and flawless presentation. Every detail, from housekeeping to concierge support, reflected true 5-star standards. I left feeling completely refreshed and cared for. Highly recommend for anyone seeking luxury and peace of mind.
- 959maggieo (2/5): Very disappointed - We booked this hotel for a one night overnight stay in Scotland for work. The staff are great and super helpful on the hotel side .
Restaurant…….. well I can only say that was a disgrace . From the 8 main meals on the menu only 4 were available. The food was bland and poorly presented (thrown on a plate )
Breakfast was again tasteless and the bread was cheap and nasty.
Lucky there’s a mcd’s about 50 ft away.
Wouod not recommend this hotel
- marybL63GH (10/5): Great staff - stayed here with my family and had a very lovely welcome from Christine and Julie room was tired but spotless had breakfast in restaurant and was served by Kirsten who was so lovely really happy was our stay and we definitely be back
- Sunshine10997691086 (10/5): Fantastic experience from start to finish friendly, helpful staff and excellent service throughout - Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
- Guglielmo Domenico (6/5): - Non sono mai arrivato in questo hotel per problemi esterni e personali.
- Flyer526460 (6/5): Premier Inn - not value for money - The first impression outside was poor - lots of overgrown shrubbery, many weeds, grubby steps from car park. The room was comfortable but needed a refurb - ie scuff marks on walls & ceiling, black mould around bath, scratches on bathroom mirror. It cost £324 for 2 nights, plus breakfast was £10.99 if required. Would not stay there again for that price.
- johnnybrucelee (2/5): Very bad service - Parking ticket very rude racist staff with attitude problems lying about the situation avoid this racist staff I will never use this disgusting hotel again
- alexanderrM4080NA (10/5): Great place to stay - The staff were very Friendly and Karen who checked me in was particularly lovely. It’s also in a fantastic and easy to get too location
- anishm450 (10/5): Super Karen at Reception - Excellent stay. Great location
Very clean and up to date
Staff at reception Karen was excellent . Very friendly and welcoming.
- stevem208 (8/5): Saved by the team - Rooms are fine but a bit tired. Shower was a bit weaker than we;d like. But the staff were friendly, welcoming and sorted things promptly.
- K7434CSandred (8/5): Overpriced for What It Is - 3-star review:
Decent enough stay for one night, but definitely overpriced at £147?for a standard double on a rainy Saturday in Glasgow. I didn’t shop around before booking, but after I did, I saw Radisson Blu was only £180 and looked miles better. This place feels more like an £80 hotel.
Room was a good size and mostly clean. But the bathroom fan got really loud after a few minutes, constantly changing tone like a dodgy old jeep — pretty annoying. Shower head was leaking water upwards somehow, spraying over the curtain rail and hitting the bathroom door and wall. By the end, the floor was soaked like a mini swimming pool. Ended up using all the towels and bath mat to dry it.
Not a holiday trip or anything, just a short city visit — but next time I’d probably go elsewhere for the price.
- JohnK363 (10/5): Pleasant stay - Pleasant comfortable bed in airy room. The pillows could be improved to match quality of mattress.
Very pleasant staff.
However, we arrived 1 hour early and would have had to pay £15.00 to get into room then.
We waited.
Couldn't really fault it in any other way
- X9280GQsophieg (4/5): Poor - Wasn’t worse £90 as none of the lights were working and the room was far to hot even when we tried to turn the temperature down
- johnmD4696AV (8/5): Had all you needed. - Bed was comfy pillows a little thin. TV and accessories were fine. Bathroom was good. Hair dryer was a bit temperamental. No air conditioning. So was very hot 25°C at night. So slept on the top of the bed not in it with the fan running all night.
- N2356BYscottb (10/5): Nice big room! - Arrived at the hotel on the hottest day of the year so far, the fan was set up in the room and came on as soon as we put our key in the slot. Room was massive which was great having a 2 year old with us. Room was super clean. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this premier inn!
- beccaa616 (4/5): Unfortunately wouldn’t stay again - Hotel fairly clean and tidy. Usual premier inn comfy bed!
But some of the rooms are very noisy and a strong smell of marijuana throughout the hotel!
- J8342ZGjays (10/5): A night away - Checked in just after 3pm and the man on reception gave us exemplary service. Went to room 119 on the first floor and ot was spotless. Had dinner at the local pub restaurant. Had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time as did my husband. It was perfect. The breakfast room was rather small but was fine. Cooked to perfection 👌 and staff again were exemplary. Thanks for a wonderful experience with yourselves, will definitely be booking again.
- shutcheson (8/5): Multiple Stay - Must be the 6th or 7th time we have use this hotel to attend match at Hampden. All you need for a one night stay and at most a 10 minute drive to Hampden - especially when leaving after a night match.
Staff always friendly and never had an issue with the rooms. The restaurant is currrently getting renovated but we were not using it anyway.
Will use again for football if needing to stay over.
- darrenhG3014YY (6/5): Good but needs improvement - The service was good from check in too check out breakfast was good but room for breakfast was far too small there was mould all over the bathroom ceiling and paint was coming off the walls in the bedroom was definitely not worth the £150 a night
- 708mercyz (10/5): Excellent service - Excellent service thanks to the staff on duty. The bed was so comfy, extra duvets and our bedroom was spacious. The dining room was tiny but very neat and had staff serving breakfast and it was nice. Nice food well cooked and presentable. Receptionist are always there to welcome you.
- philSolihull (8/5): very niice - plenty of parking
goodeasy check in
nice clean room
all mod cons , free wifi was crap, had to up grade
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss; they seemed understaffed in the restaurant
i ate there on the evening and the chef delivered my food
and one lady was trying to run the whole place
- downhillcyclist (10/5): Comfortable Convenient Hotel - We stayed at the Bearsden Premier Inn before starting the West Highland Way. It's a lovely hotel, very comfortable. We had a spacious room with ensuite including a bath. Good self service breakfast. The Burnbrae Pub & Restaurant next door is very good for dinner. It's an easy walk, less than a mile, to the start of the West Highland Way (passing several shops to buy your sandwiches). Early check in cost £15. Our bags had to be ready for 8.00am for onward transfer (only if you're doing the West Highland Way)
- brianf1872 (10/5): Great hotel - Lovely room with a really comfy bed. Slight drawback was, I had paid for early check-in and when I got there the receptionist said “oh I’m not sure your room is ready yet!!!!”
Not the staff’s fault as it was clearly understaffed, so much so the receptionist was having to run up & down the stairs as she was cleaning the rooms too.
- ryanw946 (6/5): Shame about the damp and mould - One night stay mid week. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. There are issues with damp and black mould in this hotel however. First room at back of hotel had black mould on window wall. Reported to reception and was quickly moved to another room at front of hotel. Same thing in the new room, black mould on window exterior wall. Then moved to a 3rd room at front of hotel which seemed newly refurbished and was fine.
Receptionist was apologetic and said that the building is not owned by premier inn and so they are unable to do the work required to remedy the damp and mould issues and that the cleaners have been instructed to wipe it off if they see it. She also said they paint over it.
It’s a shame because it is otherwise a great place to stay in a good convenient location. If it wasn’t for the damp and mould I would definitely stay again .
- lesr515 (10/5): Staff members with customers - Paris and morwenna have exceptional front of house skills that are second to none.
I stay in many premier inns across the uk and
These girls gave it the homely feel that I miss
When I have to stay away from my family.
They really are a credit to your group
- DebbieR750 (10/5): Outstanding Premier Inn in Bearsden - Excellent Premier Inn at Bearsden. Great location for our trip as visiting our son. Staff so professional, friendly, warm and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean, bright and airy. Our room was also spotless and had everything you needed. Nice coffee tea sugar milk tray, which you could replenish in reception, hairdryer, shower and hand gel, extra pillows, lots of plugs and lights - great bright light and mirror in bedroom to do your make-up, even a bottle opener. Shower very powerful and bed so comfortable. We had breakfast as well and great choice from the buffet of fruit, cereal, tea, coffee, juices, pastries and the chef cooks a lovely fresh and plentiful breakfast to your requirements. Plenty of parking. Overall would definitely recommend this Premier Inn.
