Guest Reviews
- Mandyabbey (2/5): No compassion - My daughter was at centre parks at was admitted to hospital on the Friday she was still on. Her two care staff needed somewhere to stay so booked in here after a few minutes they got a call saying she was transferring back to her local hospital
The rooms had been occupied for a few minutes. Premier inn. Charged for both rooms full rate no compassion or understanding £140 for 10 minutes of rooms not used under difficult circumstances
- F4767NTkevinb (4/5): Car got stolen - My car got stolen from the car park. CCTV captured it all but due to GDPR rules staff were not allowed to give me any details. The area has had this problem for some time.
- ferrickbryan05 (8/5): Great weekend stay - Overall brilliant stay at premier inn, az always. Booked their premier plus rooms which was beatiful. Only disapointment was shower, preassure was awful.
- helen_lenton (10/5): Warm and comfortable stay - Lovely warm experience on a chilly night. Hotel and room well equipped and beautifully clean, staff helpful and a very comfy bed.
- vixt2016 (8/5): Great stay - Hotel very convenient next to the DLR station. Supermarket over the road. Restaurant was lovely & staff welcoming. Would recommend this hotel. We stayed here to go to the o2.
- AllanW45 (8/5): Premier Plus room great but sort out the WiFi! - Our Premier Plus room was excellent in every respect except one! Premier Plus includes their Ultimate WiFi but it’s still patchy so we used the basic WiFi or our mobile hot spot. The Premier Plus rooms are a distinct upgrade on the standard rooms.
- paulaA6800FW (10/5): Good visit - Lovely clean room, staff were really friendly and helpful. Check in and out was seamless.
Breakfast had a good selection.
- chris3789 (10/5): Great check in experience - I have stayed here af number of times for ComicCon at Excel London. Alexandra, who booked us in, was great and was easily the most responsive and helpful person I have dealt with at this hotel. An asset to be sure.
- Guide541693 (10/5): Excellent customer representative team - My family and I arrived after midnight quite tired and we left the next day in the morning; the room was clean, service was good, the room quiet; however, when we checked in, we were not told that parking had to be paid separately, so I assumed parking was free or the fee was included in the room rate. However, I received then a PCN and I contacted the hotel; I was told that every customer is informed about parking when they check in; nevertheless, when I explained that this had not happened in our case and also provided some evidence of this, the manager cancelled the fine. Great customer representative team and great manager!
- AlexexCov (10/5): Great location - This is a very good hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. It is conveniently located at the end of the DLR with the station only a few hundred metres away. 30mins on the DLR and you're into the heart of the capital 🙂
Across the road is a large supermarket (Asda) and McDonald's although the Brewers Fayre next door serves excellent food and drink.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
- Sightsee812172 (10/5): Great accommodation - The hotel no complaints ticked all the boxes.
Beefeater next door let them down with the cooking of the breakfast could of been a little more attention paid to this
- _tmareri (10/5): Absolutely Fantastic. - This is the cleanest Premier Inn I have ever stayed in, excellent. Staff very polite. Bed lovely and comfy, choice of pillows.
- benhF873MA (10/5): Top service - Top service at this hotel, was served by alexandra and ingrid! They are very quick and effiecwnt helping resolve any issues!
- Resort05475149868 (6/5): Priory marina premier inn stay with breakfast - On booking the family room stated 3 beds, I think people just assume 2 adults are in a couple, this was 3 generations people so ideally needed 3 seperate beds, we payed to check in early however we waited 15mins at the desk before anyone came even with pressing the buzzer, checked in fine lovely lady, I payed for 2 extra breakfasts with cash for the morning all good, got to the room was only a double and 1 single, no handsoap in the box completely empty, not topped up toilet tissue either and very dirty with pubic hair around the sink yuk! There was a funny jumping bug on the wall that kept going floor the back up the wall, the floor had a spider sack huge phobia, so this definitely wasn't cleaned or mopped.
There was only 2 cups for drinks, what do they expect the 3rd person to drink from? On asking the cleaner if we can have soap, toilet paper and another cup she replied family room only have 2 cups but why do they? Excluding children to drink from a cup! I had 14year old so she defo drinks from cups!!
The room was number 18 was soo cold on arrival and in the night, luckly we saw family and had a mates 40th party that night and left early next day else wouldnt have been warm enough. Bed was super comfy but duvet very thin for this time year, pillows seemed really flat for a premier inn.
The bar staff who serve drinks were friendly however the front house man was so rude not welcoming no hello just have you booked a table i said no was told be fine for 530/6 ish the restaurant wasnt busy although he said no tables till 8 (well I needed to eat as diabetic) we said oh ok, we was told not to book and loads tables empty he said not at 7 wont be thats 1hr away... we was half hr max needed he said go to the bar then I thought wow front of house speaking like that.... I asked the barman how long wait was on food and the guy said 20mins yes your very busy ain't you!!
Food was awful ordered chicken melt on the buy one get one free code was hard chicken we had x5 the same had about 6 chips on the plate definitely wouldn't pay £15.79 each for that portion I think ive ate more on the lunch special where I live.
Breakfast the next morning was 6 of us again greeted by the same Rude man no happy, good morning infact very unprofessional I asked if I can add on another person and pay cash I asked for a reciept and he gave me a card recipt from 2hours before the time it was now!!!
The food was all mixed crossiants with pan chocolate which was a pain for allergies, 1 tongue to use for all items, the buffet is someone comes to the table to take hot food order which shouldn't be like that the fried eggs, scrambled egg were so hard, dry beans, mushrooms were hard bacon was still uncooked and was cold not enjoyable at all, as we needed to go for a train I was hoping itd fill me up for the 7hr journey but it didnt. The waitress who took the order x6 didnt bring it out so a different waitress was confused and didnt know who's was who's on one of the family member plate they said does that have a sausage the older waitress with bright red lippy on shouted its all there.... alright love just been handed to us to play pass the plate around awful atmosphere.
The big tables are all together so you cant get in and out of your table so anyone sitting against the wall dont as your stuck. Been to a few premier inn and beefeater alot for lunch and dinner, birthdays this was the worst one yet!
There was a poor old man wanting to check in at 11.45pm and couldnt get in he said bed been waiting half hr in that freezing wind as door has card key after a certain time clearly but check in staff is also a cleaner staff so clearly doing 2 people's jobs how is this ok?
- GeoffC606 (6/5): parking Ouch.... - Parking is a joke - £30 for just 13 hours is extortionate - it states £15 for 24 hours
I arrived at 17:30 and left the following morning at 06:20... private parking eye so no-one can help in the hotel.
plus side is hotel is new ish - clean quiet room and very comfortable bed.
- Chandima_A_D (10/5): Premier Inn London Beckton & - Excellent hotel for business travel, with cosy rooms and superbbreakfast.
Situated in a trategic location.
Close to DLR which connect to Elizabeth line @ London Heathrow, Clise to bus stop and Supermarket.
- argoxb (10/5): Excellent stay, location and hospitality - Genuinely, couldn’t ask for a better place to take my other half for a weekend in London to stay. Why? The Staff.
They have been so kind in their service and welcome, we were both astonished. They genuinely cared for us. Special special gratitude to Alex who has gone the extra mile and made our room into a home. Other than great personality of staff and their hospitality, the location of the hotel is perfect for travelling to central London, both train and bus routes. Just a stones throw away from a massive Asda, and a gentle walk to Lidl for their morning bakeries. Honestly, the staff made it all.
Thank you to Alex and the team, hope to see you again!
- doran2617 (2/5): Car parking fees are criminal.!!! - Whilst the hotel and staff were nice and friendly as you would expect, the shock was the parking fee😱
It is extortionate!! Don’t take your car if you don’t need to.
Beckton station is near by and easily accessible.
Shame on the private parking company as this reflects badly on the hotel.
- Southcoastdan (10/5): Great new look refurbished hotel. - A fantastic refurbished hotel with great Premier Plus rooms. Very clean hotel, friendly staff and just enough free parking although it’s shared with the Beefeater.
- J4025CWlynnm (10/5): Perfect and affordable - We stayed for two nights .everything was perfect the room was bright immaculate .everything about this premier inn was perfect .it was so clean ,decorated lovely fresh and bright.everyone was friendly and helpful.the pub nxt door was great and the setting was lovely.
- 702JimM702 (4/5): Avoid bar and restaurant poor quality facilities and environment not great - Spent one night here as a couple, let’s start with positives , location is great , reception staff and rooms great standard albeit very hot !! They do have fans in the room . the bar and restaurant located next to it needs a major overhaul , facilities poor toilets dirty music too loud over dinner and breakfast , furniture torn and covered in muslin blanket to hide the tears. facilities dirty walls marked chipped and lighting dirty . Major positive was all the staff super friendly and helpful despite working in poor facilities. stay at the inn recommended avoid bar and restaraunt until upgraded .
- 128fk (8/5): Friendly / Clean / Next to Beckton DLR station - Good Location. Close to Beckton Underground station. Clean Rooms. Friendly Staff. If booked in advance and choose the standard prepay option prices are reasonable.
- martinbS5636XL (10/5): A great place to stay. - Very clean. Excellent premier room. A great place to stay. Next to a country park great walks and angling. Staff friendly.
- 436gillp (10/5): Comfortable stay in fully refurbished room - Completely refurbished large comfortable room in a quiet location next to a lovely lake that you can walk around. Very friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again. Only negative was the head of water coming out of the shower. Perfectly adequate but not a deluge.
- 739chaels (10/5): Awesome stay cation - We had the most fantastic time at the Beckton Premier Inn. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable along with great blackout blinds. Seeing the same restaurant staff from the beginning of our stay to the end gave it a real homely feel. We are so grateful to all the restaurant staff, especially Kerry, for being so attentive and helpful and also Gabby for going the extra mile at breakfast, and Kaleed for being so friendly and personable. The breakfast buffet was of superb quality, and also for the evening meals, they provide a generous variety. The restaurant is spacious, and the atmosphere inside and outside was great. It's also very close to the DLR and a mini shopping mall. Overall, it was a great experience, and we look forward to returning.
- 72ah (10/5): Lovely stay - Hotel was being refurbished and the first floor and rooms were stunning
Reception was very helpful at all times
Free Parking directly outside
Marina and country park was lovely for a walk
Beefeater next door for breakfast and evening meals with a very large beet garden
Would highly recommend and will be returning in the future.
- roktimk2023 (10/5): Stay at Beckton - I tend to stay in Canning town but this time I got to stay at Beckton. I am very pleased to say, I had an amazing stay, starting from the check -in to the checkout. At the reception desk got greeted by the manager himself and a team member. Everyone seemed very smiley and always ready to accommodate any request. Will be staying again soon.
- J4314DMfionag (10/5): Lovely weekend stay - Beautiful setting near to the lake ideal for a morning stroll after breakfast
Rooms had just been given a refurb and everything was fresh and new, very comfortable bed as expected
Staff where very helpful and friendly
The Beefeater next door was the perfect place to relax in the sunshine and enjoy a tasty meal and filling breakfast
We wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future
- SMB50 (10/5): Comfortable and clean rooms - It was a comfortable, relaxing stay that met our needs. We have stayed a number of times to visit our daughter and any requests we made were always fulfilled.
- JONI1234 (2/5): Manager has a poor approach to customer service. - Stayed here for a gig at the o2, hotel was conveniently placed and good value for london. Our room however was very hot and when we reported the air conditioning wasn’t working it had to be reset a couple of times to get it going, this then took a long time to cool down interrupting our sleep . Staff told us to complain under the good night guarantee, however when we did this they denied us every reporting an issue. This then led to a lengthy back and forth and us escalating our complaint to head office to get them to apologise for saying we had essentially made the issue up. Head office handled the whole thing well but we were disappointed with the manager of Beckton and his approach and wouldn’t stay at this one again.
- carolsP4308UD (10/5): Excellent convenient friendly - Perfectly situated near the train station. Staff were absolutely brilliant. They helped with directions and recommended a great Chinese takeaway as we were late back and the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was superb. The staff in the restaurant were also excellent with nothing being too much trouble. Great patience shown by one lady in particular. Room was freshly decorated, comfortable and we couldn’t hear the trains which were visible from the window.
- OnAir39430454102 (10/5): Priory Marina - The Priory Marina Premier inn is in beautiful spot with lots of walks round the water. The room had been refurbished and as always was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful.
- LoWo68 (10/5): Great location for Twinwood and lovely staff - What a lovely setting and with free parking too.
On arrival from London we had a stroll around the lake and marina, followed by a tasty early evening meal. Even better, we discovered that Blue Light card holders receive 25% off the food bill! Cocktails were also reasonable with 2 for £12.
The following morning, after a delicious breakfast, we headed off to Twinwood (to review separately). The cab fare (Clapham Cars) was just £10.
Our rooms were new, the location is so peaceful apart from a few morning deliveries which didn't last long. And, the staff were lovely, all super friendly and attentive from the hotel staff to the restaurant staff in the adjoining Beefeater, which all added to our fantastic weekend.
I have just tried booking for next year (Twinwood festival again) but can see that I must leave for a week as cannot book more than a year in advance, which is fine.
Fab service from everyone at this hotel - thank you so much!
- craigcS98IB (10/5): Brilliant! Lovely staff and comfortable beds!! - I work in Canary Wharf and need to stay nearby 2-3 days a week. I’ve tried loads of affordable hotels in the area but I am so happy to have finally found one that is comfortable, clean, quiet and secure. I have stayed here four times and will continue to stay here moving forward. The rooms have been renovated and they are really nice and modern. Beds are comfortable and the place is quiet.
The staff here are BRILLIANT; Alexandra and Nir are just the most helpful and friendly staff you could hope to meet. Their level of customer service is more akin to what you would expect at a five star hotel in the city. They really do go above and beyond and really make you feel welcome. They are both a credit to the Premier Inn brand!
Overall, this place is incredible value for money. I would recommend it to anyone. I look forward to many more stays here!!!
- laurenpA71VK (2/5): Terrible - I drove 4 hours for an event and paid 140 pounds for a hotel with no hot water and no shower it wasn’t working I had to strip wash in the sink with cold water before I went out and it was warm outside and clammy. first child free night in 2 years I picked this hotel because it looked nice it was terrible.
- lorrainehY9147JV (10/5): Everything I needed and more - Lovely warm welcome, and ongoing checks through my 5 night stay.
Beautiful, newly refurbished room 😁 with everything I needed.
Excellent location, enjoyed many walks around the lake.
Delicious meals in Beefeater next door.
- ashleighj449 (2/5): Dreadful. - Dreadful. Room was 27° - no air con just the world's noisiest fan. Awoken day 1 to drilling and hammering at 8am. Decided to go for breakfast and came back to no water. Outside of the building is filthy. Shouldn't have been open when we were there.
- M3197ZUgeorgew (10/5): Excellent customer service from reception - Excellent premiere inn
Great location next to the lake, friendly welcoming staff
Nicki on reception has excellent customer service, helped sort a few requests.
Nice clean rooms
Beefeater attached produced a good meal
And all staff were extremely helpful on the bar and waiting staff were excellent with quick service with a smile.
- U2885VHkeithp (4/5): Bad - Not great tiny room tiny windows on a very hot night facilities were very poor and the breakfast was probably the worst in any hotel we have stayed in ... uneatable all undercooked or overcooked absolutely terrible
- margareteZ5968AD (6/5): Basic and needs attention - Tired and shabby. Basic. Everything worked ok, bed was clean and comfortable, and we only paid £51 so we weren’t expecting much more! Good parking. Nice staff. Ancient WiFi but we had a good 5g signal in the room and were only there overnight so this was fine. Hot. One window opened and we had a fan. Useless “extractor fan” in the bathroom and by the look of the general skimping on maintenance and cleaning we suspected it was too full of years of dust to work efficiently. It just made a noise.
