Guest Reviews
- cORINNE (10/5): - Super Rapport qualité prix et Grande gentillesse
- Nicholas (10/5): - Was this the most luxurious hotel I’ve stayed in? No. Was it the best maintained? No. But what will I always remember - on Christmas Day morning the staff left a box of biscuits and a Christmas card outside my door. This kind of attention to detail, plus genuinely lovely staff will mean I remember this hotel and Premier Inn as one of my favorite hotel experiences in the last 10 years. I say this as someone who has planned and run events in cities on every continent. Class act.
- philfI1542BZ (10/5): The best Preimer Inn I have stayed in. - As expected the hotel was clean and efficent. This in has their own resturant which was excelent, we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.
- sarahhT8264EE (10/5): Banging breakast - Breakfast done by Cash was all round phenomenal from the texture to the taste as well as it looked too good not to eat. Slept really great, staff overall were very welcoming and helpfull when needed
and I will definately ge back again for that breakfast
- 582coline (10/5): Don't knock these hotels it until you ve stayed in it ! You'll be pleasantly suprised - Warm welcome on arrival, clean comfy room ,and a tasty breakfast , overall a very nice clean hotel I'd reccoment to anyone
- stephenbK1710AQ (10/5): Great stay staff, food was GGGGGreat. - Staff welcoming and food was excellent.
Parking was a pain but beyond Hotels control, payment via the app was simple and staright forward and not to expensive. Unless you do not do its a fine off £70
- G107WDkyled (8/5): Great breakfast and nice atmosphere. - The breakfast was amazing, and the room was clean and very neat and tidy. Cash (the chef) made us a very tasty and well presented breakfast, definitely the best I’ve ever had. Definitely will stay again. Ideal location and parking not too far from hotel.
- C246KIruthd (8/5): Premier Inn was good restuarant needs patience - Josh in the kitchen did a great job of ensuring the food was to our liking, fixing an order when it came out incorrect.
The food and drinks needing stocking up when we arrived for breakfast, plates needed refilling and coffee station beans were empty too. Dirty plates were left on the table not picked up.
Front of house needs refining.
- chello88 (4/5): a tale in two parts - I always tend to stay with Premier Inn when overnighting for work as they are probably the best for what I require
However, in this instance there was a serious problem with the Aircon prior to arrival which I was not made aware of which led to a poor nights sleep.
on top of that the shower leaked badly leading to a substantial puddle in the bathroom. It was so bad I struggle to believe it had not been previously reported.
The bed however was great, the hotel was clean and tidy as always and the breakfast was well cooked and tasty
- TraceyC0510 (4/5): Dirty room and sleepless night - Situated in the town centre the location is ideal but that is where the positives end. Our room had cobwebs on the ceiling above our bed and the bath plug hole was full of hair.
I opened the spare pillows on top of the cupboard and they had brown stains on them so didn’t end up using them.
As for sleep, we didn’t get any. Our room had a door that adjoined next door. Next door decided that it was acceptable to play loud music and shout and holler. This went on all night until at 2:40am we gave up trying to sleep and watched the tv which drowned out some of the noise. I could have gone downstairs to complain but I was too tired to get dressed and trek down to reception but I did make them aware of it when I checked out.

Gosha Anna Josh and other staff were so helpful.
Totally amazing and super kind staff on reception. The hotel is easy to find and has easy access disabled council pay by phone parking spaces right next door … as an autistic adult… I found myself a little anxious but the reception staff were so kind… early hours of the morning they went above and beyond to find a room in the quiet part of the hotel. THANK YOU ANNA & JOSH. The following day I found I needed to book again unexpectedly and again Gosha on reception told me to book online and as soon as she saw my booking she would put me in the same room I’d had the previous night. Autism means change is difficult and Gosha helped so much. Thank you for the “welcome back” card Gosha and team ! 🙏 you really are a credit to the company and deserve recognition.
- T2435PHcharlieb (8/5): As advertised - Location was as specified, town centre close to amenities and restaurants. Room was large, we stayed in a plus room and would do again. Shame hair dryer didn't work effectively though.
- martamK9167WQ (6/5): Good sleep but poor breakfast - Rooms and service as you would expect - decent quality for the price. Had a good sleep, but breakfast was awful, no buffet and our order arrived 45 minutes later and was greasy and overcooked. There was super friendly front of the house person who was nice but was rushing from front of the house, to serving bar and serving table service breakfast.
- simontC3270KO (2/5): Find somewhere else to stay - Very disappointing stay. Booked a family room but wasnt advised at time of booking that one of the beds would be a pull out and rather short, had I known this beforehand I would have sought alternative accommodation as both my kids are in excess of 5'6 and my sons legs hung over the edge of this.
After a 6 hour drive and arriving late, we made do.
However the air con unit in the room sounded like a helicopter taking off and even after turning it off on the wall it continued to run....loud!
First morning, went for breakfast, paid for 1 adult as the 2 under 16's would eat free we were then taken to a table by the elderly female member of staff and informed she'd be back soon to take our order. After over half hour we still hadn't ordered so I went to the bar to place the order, Where the same elderly member of staff tried to charge me again as she couldn't remember us coming in. (Baring in mind the place was dead)
She then asked where we were sat? When i pointed to our table she said we couldn't sit there as it wasnt the breakfast area (she took us to that table when we arrived)
She then took our order, there was only 2 of us wanting hot food and the order came incorrect and the eggs could have been used to play Frisbee!!
Overall, a very disappointing stay. After staying in numerous premier inns around the country, this is hands down the worst and we will certainly not be returning!
1 out of 10 is generous!!
- 586archiem (2/5): Unprofessional - So unprofessional, booked and room for 2 days asked the lady at the reception to clean my room when I left for the afternoon, came back later in the evening, the room was still the same, bin not emptied, towel or linen not changed.
Horrible
- KIMBERLY (6/5): - This is a corporate hotel in a city, there is nothing special about it. The restaurant is mediocre but the people are really nice. Hotels.com is WRONG they don’t have king beds. I would not stay here again. You have to pay for parking and walk about a block, no loading zone in front of the hotel.
- Seaside29303459393 (6/5): Nice room with AC but rooms did not get cleaned or replenished - All was fine other than the windows did not open. When we came back for our second night after being out all day the room was not cleaned, towels not replaced and neither was the tea and coffee facilities.
- samueljR9106NW (6/5): Too hot - Bad sleep, far too hot in room. I think the air con must go off overnight. Mold in bathroom around bath and fittings but room was overall clean and fresh when arrived
- Camper23790746042 (10/5): What an amazing stay - Staff are absolutely fantastic helpful thankyou mel Rory danielle and James you really made my stay so much better mate your brilliant see you soon
- 81chaseb (8/5): Hotel ok, staff are amazing. - The hotel is as expected, set your expectations to average. However, the staff are great, they're always so welcoming and friendly and up for a chat (not common in a lot of Premier Inns). One particular lad at breakfast in the morning, speaks like a talk show host, and it's great. Granted it may sound like a lot of energy for 7 in the morning, but it's a better pick me up then the coffee, and I come back repeatedly just for that.
- Robertapetal69 (10/5): Lovely clean and cosy stay - What a lovely hotel we were upgraded to a premier plus room which was spotlessly clean and very comfy. We had a lovely bottle of prosecco and 2 glasses left in our room for my birthday. Overall we had a fantastic few days in yeovil and Weymouth. Thanks premier inn yeovil team x
- johnathanv391 (10/5): Kind staff - Had a pleasant stay and breakfast was great kind staff and special thank you to Yzel who was very kind and made my grandmothers day
- Guide798003 (2/5): Avoid Yeovil Town Centre Hotel - As regular users of Premier Inns, we booked into Yeovil Town Centre......what a mistake. We had a family room for four, and it was waaay too small, with a double bed and 2 singles pushed together so you couldn't walk down the sides of any of them, but had to clamber over to get into bed. Decor was very tired with flaking paint, stained chair, and a very noisy a/c fan!
Whilst booking in, the young couple on reception seemed more interested in chatting than informing us we needed to book a breakfast slot.
Next morning the family went to breakfast at 9.00am, and on arrival we were told they weren't taking walk-ins and we should've booked a slot......BUT WE WEREN'T INFORMED!!! We were told to go back to our room and come back in 30 minutes!
On returning, it became apparent there were only two staff for the whole restaurant...... and they had to book people in, take cooked breakfast orders, clear dirty tables, restock the 'buffet', and serve the cooked breakfasts!!!! Way to much for two young staff to do (but James & Emily were EXCELLENT under extreme pressure)
So, having ordered our cooked breakfasts we went to get our tea & coffee. Found the machine hidden around a corner eventually, after asking other diners, only to discover, the milk jugs were empty!! So we then had to interrupt the busy staff to ask for milk.
Next we went to the buffet......if you can call it that.
No bread for toast, no pastries, no yoghurts, no fruit (except 2 sad apples), all cereal bowls were empty. Looking at the menu, ALL these things should've been available.
This was August Bank Holiday weekend, so the hotel should've been prepared.
Whilst we weren't angry with the staff (unlike others), we were horrified that 2 young members of staff were left to deal with all this, and felt sorry for Emily who bore the brunt of it from people and burst into tears. Shame on you Premier Inn for allowing your staff to have to deal with this.
P.S. I've never written a review like this before
