Guest Reviews
- V3404PHjenniferw (10/5): Great venue for a visit to friends and family - Just off a main road the hotel is near the railway station and bus stops. It's just a very short walk to the small historic town. Double glazing ensures the rooms and public areas are quiet. This Premier Inn has a very large car park with ample ample parking available. The hotel offers the full range of rooms promoted by Premier and our room was very clean and comfortable. A popular Beefeater Restaurant adjoins the hotel and provides a good breakfast, specific lunchtime menu and full 'all round' family evening dining menu. Alternatively the town offers a selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants. We use this hotel to visit family and friends as it's easier to invite them to join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner there than for us to try and visit them individually. It works very well. Very satisfied with Premier and Beefeater.
- carolbE5023XO (10/5): A surprise family birthday get together in Ware - Always a warm welcome at the Premier Inn from Allison on Reception...who helped us with a booking for another family member which we needed to clarify, and from Vulcan in the Beefeater Restaurant
- 900fahimz (2/5): Very rude staff - I went to book a room for my guest at 3:00 AM as I couldn’t book online. The staff member on duty first quoted me an exorbitant price. I agreed to pay as my guest desperately needed to sleep after a long journey. He proceeded to ask unnecessary questions, including demanding both of our IDs.
I explained that I was not the guest staying and that my guest would be the one paying. When I questioned why he needed my ID since I was not staying, he refused the booking, stating that I was being difficult. He was very rude throughout the entire interaction. I will never be booking with premier inn
- steveg246 (10/5): Comfortable with a smile - Very brief overnight stay.
Good to have a small bar for a quick drink before bed .
Room clean, bed very comfortable .
Total standout ? The staff .
The guy in the bar was friendly and helpful but totally eclipsed by the receptionist who was bright, cheerful and willing to help.
As we left this morning , she remembered th conversation from last night - with a warm smile
- X1948TKmorganb (10/5): Great hotel! - I couldn’t recommend this hotel anymore!
What a great stay I had at the Warrington premier inn just off the M6 in a great location, all the staff were very friendly and most helpful, a special mention to the cleanliness of the rooms and communal areas.
I will be staying here again for sure.
- Inge (8/5): - Nice location
- Sunshine734636 (10/5): Amazing stay - We stayed in premier inn ware in October as a couple but completely forgot to post this review like we promised. The hotel is amazing and well taken care of. The cleanliness is impeccable and worth the value that we paid for 2 nights. In reception, Joana helped a lot with what we should visit and even sat to find new places nearby with us. What a gem!! Will definitely be back again.
- 940stickyg (10/5): A Pleasant Stay - Allison at the front desk was great throughout our stay. She was friendly, helpful, and made everything run smoothly. Me and my girlfriend had a really good time, and her help made the visit even better.
- amyleighw578 (10/5): Fantastic! - Excellent stay and great help and customer service , specifically Allison, she made us feel welcome and was very helpful with directing us and giving us information we needed. Thank you!
- O2477AEleel (10/5): Lovely as always - We always come to the premiere inn as it’s lovely and a special mention to Alison on the check in desk she was so lovely and helpful and was hand to go that extra mile X
- 414mihail (10/5): Great exercise - Lovely hotel , clean rooms and amazing location. ioana , hotel manager is a great asset on premier inn , from first interaction she had the smile on the face and even when she had few people waiting still she kept a positive attitude and this made our waiting easier. Great experience i may say
- D8965PAcj (10/5): Good stay and friendly manager - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently stayed at this Premier Inn and had an excellent experience! Ioana, the manager, was incredibly friendly and professional — she really made me feel welcome. The room I stayed in was amazing — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this hotel!
- HamzahAL1 (10/5): Christian is a legend - Christian legend we went into a room and the toilet was blocked. He quickly found us another room and also gave us free breakfast due to the inclusive.
- mikepH1934ZE (4/5): Check-in was very poor - Check-in was very poor, we arrived before scheduled check-in but didn't need access to the room, just to check-in. We were told we could not do so and had to check-in at 12.40pm on returning from our guided walk and pub visit.
The hotel does not offer proper toilet rolls, just miniscule squares of toilet paper, I have never come across such a ridiculous system at any hotel I have stayed at.
There should have been a cup in the bathroom but none was offered and the bath was too high for my friend who struggled to access it and almost slipped over on a couple of occasions.
The one plus was the breakfast which was excellent value for money, sadly the same could not be said for the rest of the package.
It cost £70 per night but did not deliver anywhere close to that value.
- matnep (10/5): Just right! - The Premier Inn at M6/J21 is well located for easy access to Warrington and the surrounding areas. There is adequate parking and the check-in and check-out was easy. The breakfast there is amazing, as always (I have been there earlier too) and it was great to see Anne from the food and beverage team, still there. She's friendly and caring as she always has been. The rooms are clean, with a not a speck of dust or damp. The whole team there was efficient and friendly. Thanks!
- B3336TSrobc (8/5): Surprisingly quiet - A really nice quiet hotel. Unforgettable heating was either all or nothing. Carpark outside is private on Android and has had bad reviews. The local council carpark around the corner was cheaper. Staff incredibly helpful and polite.
- davehW5923LT (10/5): Great stay - Brilliant hotel I was surprised as it somehow different to others I've stayed in , reception team pure brilliant , evening meal at the Beefeater was adequate but service was only average, breakfast in the morning totally different servers where all over us couldn't do enough for everyone in the Restaurant ✓
- 108LAA (10/5): Warm & Friendly Welcome, Good Value - really friendly welcome and restaurant service. Usual good standard of facilities and cleanliness. Premier Inn have close many of their restaurants - the Ware facility still has a restaurant which greatly appreciated.
- B4436OObradleyb (10/5): Wonderfully helpful staff! - Hannah and Allison at the front desk gave me a very warm welcome, helped me change room and got me in for an evening meal at the very last minute. Even though I booked the room last minute and got everything wrong they both helped sort my booking and make sure I didn't go without. Superstar staff and an amazing experience!
- petulajane1 (4/5): I eould not return to this hotel - The entrance to thd hotel was vety jntidy anf cluttered, not thd best cleanliness. Corridors and lift smelt of smoke and felt generally unclean, as did my room.
- anney764 (6/5): Awful breakfast - We regularly stay at this Premier Inn and its an idea stop-off point. You know what youre getting and its always fine. This time we went for breakfast and it was awful. We went around 8.30am and when we arrived the natural yogurt needed replacing and there was one pancake, one dried up very thick crust of bread and half a dozen crumpets
No pastries, muffins or croissants. They never restocked them and when I asked for a pastry I was told it would take 15 minutes to cook. This isnt acceptable at the busy time of day. The juices all ran out too and were not replenished either.
We certainly wont be having breakfast again.
- TempoWA1 (8/5): Good stay - Great hotel, staff always very helpful and friendly,
My only gripe is the internet is terrible, I tried the upgrade and that wasn’t much better, they seriously need to upgrade the internet
- lanamcdonald12 (10/5): Great value - Stayed over here on way to Cornwall.. checked in later in the evening very quick and easy .. had a comfortable night's sleep i do love a premier inn bed ... had a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning which was unlimited for £11 . Very reasonable amount of choice .. staff were lovely am sure the girls name was Kayla she was rushed lf her feet thou she done a great job.. very good price for both of us staying over. Thankyou premier inn
- emmar815 (8/5): Another Fab Premier Inn - Very good as always.
I couldn’t get the app to work so we just arrived at the hotel to book in for the night.
The welcome was nice but the young lady on reception didn’t have very good English we asked questions but she struggled to understand.
The room was a standard premier inn immaculate and comfortable.
This is a very basic premier inn for experience, I forgot a brush and they had no extras at all downstairs.
We were on the top floor but unfortunately there was only one lift working and the glass corridor that joins the hotel is really really scary.
We were in room 518 and the view was nice, triple glazing and the AC was lovely.
The shower was hot and the towels fluffy.
The parking is next door and very expensive.
- raymV5030AJ (2/5): Not So premier Inn - I would avoid this place like the plague, theirs is a few friendly staff but not all. The hotel rooms stink like an ashtray. The food portions are questionable. The free WiFi is worse than dial up and I’ve not even started on the town centre which if you have the displeasure to walk through is far too close to the so called Premier ha inn!
- coni_solar (10/5): Excellent experience, I will book again. - Excellent service, comfortable room, very comfortable bed and pillows, clean and goof food. Very close to the train station, 20 min from city centre.
- 391katiel (10/5): Great service - Having arrived after a very long drive, I was really grateful for the kind assistance from Fatima and Dagma in sorting out an issue with my room. They were both really helpful and professional. It was much appreciated.
- V8432WBrichardl (10/5): An excellent stay at the Premier Inn in Ware. - We had an excellent stay at the Premier Inn in Ware. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the staff welcoming and helpful. A great experience all round.
- kellyjZ1882OG (2/5): Terrible!!!! - The whole experience was appalling, the lack of staff there was terrible. We arrived around 7ish in evening after long drive to empty reception desk which we waited around 15 mins before someone appeared and the check in lady seem to be busy cleaning rooms from what we could see, she then checked us in where we went to our rooms all the bedroom doors down the corridor where open with dirty laundry in door way and down the corridor, including the room we was checked in to, we proceeded into our room which despite the dirty laundry in door way, it was made and appeared cleaned so as it was late decided to not make fuss but on way to hotel restaurant we let reception know about it and they did apologise but didn’t offer room change or anything they just wanted to run off to see other rooms. We then went in to the bar another long wait to be served a drink we then asked to be seated for dinner which seemed to put lady out serving us like it was inconvenience to her she had to do her job, we got seated with menus and then left alone , the said lady then seated few more other tables ignored the fact she even seated us and walked up and down, we thought she’s on her own we would give her time to come back but some time had pasted us and we watched as she went to seat and serve other tables and we were tired and beyond hungry at this point so we decided to leave and told the other lady from bar we won’t be eating here now as that lady hasn’t even come back to serve us and we been there for nearly 45mins , the bar lady apologised and said she would come serve us and I said no it’s far to late now, so we left and had to drove out of hotel to find some food in area we didn’t know late at night, this really shouldn’t be case after very long drive to this hotel. On coming back to hotel the reception lady apologised from our experience and openly admitted we haven’t had great experience ,so they knew there was issues but the lack of staff here I’m sure it’s daily thing and is the main problem here they all looked like there over worked and not many of them trying to do more than one job role which is unacceptable , we definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel nor would we return..
- Andrew (8/5): - Convenient and good value
- Trail05602549870 (10/5): Excellent Stay - Excellent stay close to the motorway.
As a solo traveller I decided to have my meal in my room this was no issue to the team and they went out their way to accommodate this request.
- S891YStonip (10/5): Brilliant - The Staff were brilliant and very helpful. A very good atmosphere which made the stay more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.
- saintst2022 (10/5): Good stay and responsive staff. - Arrived and checked in without any issues. Had a small problem with a noisy neighbour, but Tyresse did what he could to address it, which improved the situation. Good breakfast and clean room, so nothing to complain about.
- Mickdav31 (10/5): Family break away - Welcoming staff very friendly restaurant on site absolutely amazing rooms clean and comfortable right off the motorway perfect for travel
- Bookfodder (2/5): Don’t bother - Truly awful customer experience with the least helpful or aware staff ever. Awful. Terrible. Execrable. Horrifying. Unaware. Don’t care. Awful. Awful. Awful.
And there’s no electronic check in.
- Freedom03745219067 (10/5): Lovely visit over the Cream fields weekend - Lovely clean hotel and welcoming staff.
Stayed here with some friends for Cream fields the staff could not do enough for us.
We had not booked an early check in, but the manager rearranged things and got us in for 11am totally going above and beyond our expectations.
All the staff we came across were so friendly and genuinely welcoming.
There was a free phone near the entrance that connected you to the local taxi firm but the staff was also giving out other numbers just incase they were fully booked.
Will be staying at this one again next year.
- yvonneaF1125XW (2/5): Disappointing - I booked two rooms and called the hotel twice after booking to confirm interconnecting rooms for my family with young children. Both times I was reassured, but when we arrived late at night we were given separate rooms. The receptionist was polite and apologetic, but it was disappointing that what had been confirmed in advance was not honored.
At breakfast, I also noticed the curtains and air conditioning unit in the dining area were very dirty, which didn’t give a good impression in a space where food is served. I’ve attached pictures for reference.
- davidsZ3461XW (8/5): Decent value for money hotel near Ware town centre - The hotel is well located and is very quiet. The staff are very friendly. The room and bathroom are decent. Sleep and bed were very good. Breakfast options great. We ate dinner but not impressed with taste or quality and in future would dine out
- samanthahA7229BC (10/5): Warm friendly welcome - Staff friendly and helpful. Beds extremely comfy. Extra tea and coffee in reception to take. Location easy from road/motorway
- Marhett (4/5): If you have stay at this hotel it’s clean and safe, although obnoxious manager - Good points ..safe parking, location just off the motorway, famous mattress so good sleep.
Bad points…tired worn out rooms, almost non existent Wi-Fi , although like being back in the late 90s so okay, if you are nostalgic to what Wi-Fi used to be like.
Disgusting attitude of a manager, rude, sarcastic and unfriendly to anyone with a Southern accent, although noticeable extra polite to those Travellers with Northern accents.
Stayed here in the past, however surprising how one person can make a nice place a bad memory. I’m pleased I’ve use social media to show a much wider audience, my conversation with this manager.
- G3719NSlaurens (6/5): Family stay - the young man on reception was helpful and welcoming. Looks nice from the outside. Corridors and bedrooms smell of cigarette smoke really bad so it was unpleasant to have my 2 children there. Other than the smell the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good at the Buffett.
- stevenf12197 (6/5): Disappointing - Room was clean and comfy.
Check in process was quick and easy.
Plenty of parking.
The hotel is very overpriced (£140 a night).
Restaurant/bar feels very understaffed and took a long time to get served a drink.
Breakfast was poor value for money, feel better ingredients are required.
- A3264DMjulieg (8/5): Worth a stay - Only issue was bell not clearly visible or well positioned on reception to call receptionist. Placed on wall at end of reception desk next to entrance door to restaurant with very small sign on wall. Both bell and sign at the time of our visit were fully obscured by an advertising sign placed on the reception desk. Bell would have been better at front of desk to be clearly seen when approaching desk. Otherwise, room, food, staff all very good.
- donnarY4819UJ (8/5): Great staff but wheres the air con - I really want to give this place 5 stars but the heat of the rooms to the point we couldn't sleep just doesn't warrant it , saying that the staff where amazing and couldn't do enough for us
- frankpeters64_fp (10/5): Stay over for trip to Yorkshire - Staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast exceptional plenty to eat seemed to cater for all needs as well as the evening meal
- edgeway (10/5): Excellent stay - All members of staff were up to Whitbread standards. TY in particular, was a great help in solving an important issue. Hotel is located centrally with easy walking distance to the town centre. Room was clean and spacious with all the basic facilities.
- Pablino_99 (10/5): Excellent two night stay - Modern, spotlessly clean with efficient, helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in a PremierPlus room which was quiet and well worth the extra. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which was very good both for the food and the service.
Based on our stay it is hard to understand the recent negative reviews which certainly do not reflect our experience.
- davideV9333UE (10/5): Beautiful rooms and smooth check in - Beautiful rooms and a smooth check. We are down sadly for a double funeral but have to say the service we received from the hotel and restaurant was fantastic. Jackie and Becky on reception where two very pleasant ladies and made our visit pleasant by acknowledging us when we passed and having a cheery personality
Thank you so much for our visit
- Ade666 (4/5): A tale of two halves - a hotel let down by the staff - I was due to work in Warrington and looked for hotels on the outskirts which would be easy to get to. I selected the Premier Inn because it had an onsite restaurant which meant I wouldn't have to go out and find somewhere to eat. I arrived at the hotel to find the reception unmanned and a number of people waiting - they pointed me towards the buzzer on the counter and told me to push it as I might have more luck than they had. I pushed the button and waited..and waited. Eventually, someone appeared and started dealing with the requests without any apology or explanation. Eventually, I got to the front of the queue and was checked in without any friendliness. I asked if I had included breakfast in the booking and he said no and that I would have to pay for it in the morning. I went to my room and apart from the damp smell it was clean and comfortable. So, I went down to get some food. I joined the queue for the restaurant - and waited...and waited. The 3 staff walking around the restaurant seemed to be going out of their way to not look at the queue - I assumed the restaurant was rammed with people and they were focussing on the tables they had. After 20 minutes someone came and asked me if I had a reservation. I said I didn't and she said she would find me a table. The restaurant was about 10% occupied. She sat me at a table and told me I needed to go to the till to order food. I browsed the menu and walked to the till - I turned round and she was seating someone else at my table. So I pointed out that she had just sat me there. She moved the other person to another table and came over to the till and again didn't acknowledge that I was even there. I had had enough - I asked her where else I could get a meal in the area as I was not going to eat anywhere with such disregard for customers. I drove to a restaurant on the other side of Warrington where I got good service. The next morning I found I had paid for breakfast. This is one hotel where Premier Inn should either replace the staff with check in terminals or retrain the management and staff - it was a disgrace and will make me think hard before I stay in another Premier Inn.
- skeltronp (10/5): Lovely stay at Warrington - Hotel was convenient for our needs close enough to the motorway we could travel to Manchester and Liverpool. Really friendly welcome and the food in the restaurant was lovely.
Staff we met was attentive and was quick to please. Children was very happy with the story books they received.
- Sunshine848 (2/5): Terrible nights sleep - I wish I’d read the reviews before booking and staying! Terrible nights sleep due to a droning noise the entire night! When requesting a refund under the good night sleep policy this was quickly shut down as I should have gone down to reception in the middle of the night in my underwear to get them to try and fix it. Laughable in my opinion. I would not recommended this hotel and see that many other guests had this same issue. If you are staying and get room 214. Avoid avoid avoid!!
- R1336LAbrianh (6/5): - Standards have seriously declined in this hotel; I used to love to stay at this Premier Inn.
The first night I never left my room and found a restaurant bill pushed under my door for a meal in the restaurant that was 100% not me. Challenged the staff and they told me “ oh I think I know who that is” No one checks or ask for a name , you could charge any room I guess.
Second night I went to the restaurant and they either don’t care or were all too busy resetting tables when the only new potential customer customers to eat there was me. I found a staff member and was told I should wait at the entrance - I said I had been waiting in all the right areas but no staff checking.
Still a great location, don’t plan to eat there lots a nice places in town.
- A4336TUpauld (8/5): bathroom extractor fan - this hotel is in a great location. the room was lovely. the only thing that let this stay down was the noise from the bathroom extractor fan!,,, we tried to have a romantic bath....the fan said otherwise! partner went to the toilet in the night, the fan woke me up! we have stayed at many hotels and the bathroom fans have been on permanently for 24 hrs and are silent! over £100 for a night that was spoiled!
- robertpF7453OM (8/5): Well placed hotel - We have stayed here a few times and the Hotel is very clean and very well placed just off Jct 21 of the M6. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The only thing I would point out is that the lift sounds,as though it could break down at any time
- Flyer18407429606 (10/5): Very pleasant place to stay - Nice hotel attached to a Beefeater and very close to the train station. I thought it might be noisy being in such a central location, but it wasn't. The reception staff were especially lovely - even when checking in at 3am after good old public transport let us down after the Black Sabbath event. Rooms were decent, but the staff deserve special mention for their helpful attitudes and smiles. Breakfast was extremely generous and very good.
- louisedS842CQ (10/5): Lovely Hotel - Convenient location hotel right off the motorway.
Staff are so friendly especially the lady who works breakfast on the Saturday.
Hotel and room really clean everything what you expect from a premier inn. Will be returning on our return journey home.
- andreacL3297PM (2/5): Very disappointing! - I booked a family room for myself and my two children. The room booking said the room was a quad room so I expected myself and 2 children to have 3 separate beds. 1 double and 1 single. My children are boy girl twins who are almost teenagers so they don't want to share a bed with each other or their mother. When we arrived at our room just before midnight. We expected to be able to get straight into bed after 5hours in the car, however we were greeted by 2 beds (1 double bed and one single bed). To make matters worse, the single bed was simply a mattress. The bed hadn't been made. There were no sheets, duvet or pillows on the bed. Luckily I managed to find some under the bed and had to make the bed myself. When I pay for a hotel room, I don't expect to have to make the bed myself.
The following morning we went down for breakfast. Most of the hot items had been sitting there too long and did not look appealing and the yolks of the fried eggs were like rubber. They weren't well done, they were actually like rubber, couldn't get a knife though it, indicating they had been sat there for a very long time. None of the items were replenished the whole time we were there meaning we couldn't have all of the warm items we wanted.
I will not be returning
- C9753OStrevora (10/5): excellant - for last year we have been staying here every 4 week and the staff here have been very nice and friendly especially becka who go above and beyond to make sure our stay is comfortable
- YtarmyYtarmy (8/5): Looks like Lenny was right after all 🤷🏻♂️ - Haven’t stayed in a Premier Inn for a while, but was presently surprised by this one. I would have probably given it 5/5, but I did t thinks the breakfast was that good and I couldn’t set up a table in the bar with my meal. All the staff were very friendly, from reception to the bar. The room was basic but clean, bed comfortable, I’d normally wander out for an evening meal but as I was I. Work late, spotted the bar so thought I’d eat on site. I had Chicken Wings, Mixed Grill and a couple of pints of the black stuff. All were spot on 👌🏼 They do a deal, evening meal, breakfast and drink (see photo) I would have told work to book me that had I known as it’s a decent deal (not sure if you are limited on what you can select though so check first). I don’t come to this site with my work, but I think I’d definitely look at staying here again should the need arise.
- SomersetKeithers (8/5): Check out The Brewers Fayre - Well located hotel, just a short walk to Walsall town centre.Public car park on-site £8 for 24 hours.
Smooth check-in, it usually is at a Premier Inn, with a warm welcome. The rooms are typiacl for this chain, normal facilities with comfy bed, ample hot water for the shower.
The on-site Brewers Fayre is one of the best I have ventured into for this brand, with a large restaurant, plenty of light from the many floor to celling windows and a bar area with tv, pool table and decent selection of beers, etc. We had breakfast here, terrific value with a variety of hot and cold options and it's all you can eat.
- Digus57 (10/5): Great value. - Very clean rooms, large and spacious. Lovely staff. Breakfast was perfect and great choice. Breakfast also was ready for 6.30am which was perfect for us. Great value. Parking facilities great, and check in was simple and easy. Will use again.
