Guest Reviews
- tradesecrets1961 (10/5): Good location & great staff - Great location for the city centre...premium room very comfortable & clean - good facilities (bottled water, chocolates, iron & hair dryer)...very quiet in the room so had a very good nights sleep on both nights...nice to have the option of a bath or a shower too - many hotels have removed baths these days. Found logging onto the wifi frustrating - couldn't get on it day 2 of our visit & it's not easy to park at this premier inn. Staff very helpful in sorting out issues (like the wifi & missing hair dryer in the room). Booked again for next year as this hotel is comfortable & in the heart of the city!
- HousereefSailors (6/5): Friendly Helpful Reception. Clean & Well Presented Throughout - Reception manned by Fay & Spencer friendly and helpful. Arranged meal booking.
The room was ready, clean and well presented as was the rest of the hotel.
Heating worked which is always encouraging in November.
Went into restaurant an hour or two later to be met by – Fay & Spencer – who are now doing meet and greet at the restaurant, taking orders and serving meals and drinks. Rumour has it there might be another member of staff in the kitchen.
Back to room after meal and room key not working.
Put out a call for assistance and here comes Fay.
Here is a situation where these guys and girls are doing their best and do not stand a chance. On top of this they had to handle grumpy customers who were not getting served fast enough.
Come on Premier – your staff deserve more support than this – there were way too many customers for this small team to manage no matter how hard they worked.
Give these folks recognition or we recommend they take an Accor franchise where their efforts would be properly rewarded.
Just to cap it all there was no Breakfast Restaurant in the morning due to a power failure. I bet if we waited long enough Fay & Spencer would have turned up in their Electricians overalls.

- ashleyfV7258MY (2/5): Charged twice for my stay, 2 months have been unable to get a refund. - I booked my hotel stay on a pre-paid booking via Expedia. Upon arrival at the hotel I was asked to make payment as the room hadn't been paid for, which I did.
(I later found out the room had been paid for by Expedia and the girl who checked me in had not read the notes on the booking. Therefore, I have paid twice for this room.
Now 2 months on I am still trying to obtain a refund, Premier Inn have admitted fault and shouldn't have charged me on arrival, however nobody seems to be able to action the refund; I'm left going round & round in circles!!
Premier Inn Customer Services is awful, nobody would help me on the basis of data protection. I asked to be put through to a Manager and was told it was not possible for data protection reasons. I am speechless!
Avoid!
- 1KLT (10/5): Another great stay - Even though there was renovation work being carried out this did not affect my stay a all. A very, comfortable, pleasant stay as usual
- Passenger63632440731 (10/5): Friendly and convenient stay - Great staff, welcoming and friendly, always happy to help. I have enjoyed the stay and have booked the second week that I need in order to reach work at this Premier Inn as well.
- P6296EVpaulag (10/5): Sarah and Alex are amazing! - What a fantastic experience!
Sarah and Alex could not do enough to make our stay perfect!
Sarah even fixed my dress so I could go to the ball! Alex was charming and funny nothing was too much trouble for this incredible team!
The bed was so comfortable (I did threaten to steal it!)
Clean and so comfortable with such a lovely team made this Cinderella go to the ball (even though I came back with concussion!)
I would leave a reason to visit again you made our weekend,
Best hotel visit ever!
(And I’ve paid thousands for less quality!)
Sarah and Alex thank you ! I sincerely mean that!
- 465mazr (8/5): Recommended - Excellent location in the centre of town, close to all the amenities. Friendly welcome from reception staff, room was clean well equipped and extremely well soundproofed. Would not have known in the middle of the city, excellent night's sleep
- Melissablake26 (6/5): Terrible Beds - Stay in premier plus room on 15 floor room was nice and clean and shower was lovely amazing view off the city centre and amazing sunsets the only let down was bed was really hard and uncomfortable struggled sleeping at nights. Breakfast food was cold won't be coming back to this hotel.
- Kevin38L (8/5): Second visit difrent raiting to last visit. - This is my second visit to the Stadium premier Inn Cardiff City centre, Apon ariving i was told a room wasnt ready, even though i had paid extra for early check in, so had to wait in the reception area for half an hour for them to get a room ready, If i had to wait any longer i would have asked for the extra i paid refunded, This time I chose the Premier plus room, the room was on a high level ( 15) with great views of the city, the room difrence from standard were that it had a fridge,(was handy) coffee machine difrent lighting and grey walls instead of white, better wall art , the beds was comfy as usual, There were some scuffs on the walls and a dark stain drip down the wall to the skirting board by the bed, ( caused by past guests who have no respect for where they stay) the bathroom had a rain shower, luxury shower products, the wash basin did have long hairs in it, probably missed by cleaner due to being rushed to get the room ready, the room was very quiet didn't hear any doors slaming or noise from the corridor, slept very well, I also paid for premier inn breakfast, Went down for breakfast at 06.30am but no hot food was available, cereal fruit and bakery all out, but had to wait 20 mins for hot food to be ready. But when I eventually got hot food, it was great as usual. So just a couple of niggle hence a star missing but I still would come back to this hotel.
- F9032VCadamb (10/5): A lovely long weekend - The staff were very friendly and helpful on check in, despite dealing with technical issues with their automated check in system. I had no need of their assistance during my stay as the room was perfect; as clean and comfortable as you could want.
- andrewhJ6431PR (10/5): Welcome - A lovely experience as I came to a rugby international to support the opposition. I was made very welcome. Ash and the rest of the staff were so welcoming.. I would probably say my best Premier Inn stay. Being of Gypsy heritage I know how lovely it is lovely when you are so welcome
- lilyo541 (10/5): Shout out to Ashley - Stayed at this hotel on 22/10/25 with my partner for our anniversary and enjoyed our stay. We done early check in but had to wait for what seemed like half hour/45 minutes for our room to be ready. We had been upgraded to a premier Inn plus accessible room on the 16th floor which was lovely, we had a wet room, as I'm a wheelchair user. The room had both sides of the bed Accessible so could choose which side to sleep which is rare in hotels, the hotel has 3 high speed lifts, only downside is the doors don't stay open long enough to get in and out as a wheelchair user. The very last lift (furthest away from reception) was a bit scary as it shook quite a lot and seemed to go faster than the others but we reported it to the staff.
Food was good, we had a really lovely attentive staff member called Ashley he looked out for my other half who is autistic and got overwhelmed by the menu change since we last stayed in a premier inn and Ashley was asking what was wrong why he didn't want no food and was he ok and my partner managed to say its because of the menu change and Ashley managed to get him something he was comfortable eating, he talked him through the options and found something he was happy with and by Ashley doing this it meant a awful lot to me, especially as my partner doesn't disclose his autism. We have stayed in lots of premier inns and the staff at dinner had never been so attentive so it was lovely.
My partner wanted a photo with Ashley, which he was happy to do but honestly he deserves recognition for what he done, it meant the world to me. I also thanked the chef as we left dinner for helping too.
Food was good, bed was comfortable, view was amazing we will definitely be back again sometime hotel right next to train station and pubs and clubs good location
- joanac469 (8/5): Perfect city centre stay - Perfectly located for a night in Cardiff city centre. Rooms were quiet, even with the location. Beds super comfy as always. And reasonably priced.
Bathroom tap was faulty / stiff, it was stuck on hot and we couldn't turn it. Breakfast was slightly less vast than Premier Inn breakfasts usually are.
Still a good stay
- KernowItaliano (4/5): Reminds me of an old US motel complete with lack of staff, however the kitchen services are poor, little choice, slow service an - Premier Inn group has seriously been going down hill recently, nearly all I've visited lately have had serious understaffing issues and definitely a low standard of customer service (but that's getting the norm.in the UK right?). The staff at this location was chronically understaffed, however all went above and beyond and I praise them for that, well done guys! The obvious manager was the only downside to the team (gobs..t).
Unfortunately that's my only praise, the rooms are dated, the bathrooms not of good standard (my room stank of foul drains, even after reporting and asking for maintenance to have a look) and the beds looked like they were falling apart. Saying that I did have a great sleep over my time there. The food menu options are small, and the varying one chef over numerous days managed to make worse food and smaller portions as time went on. I mean 4 small crispy prawns for starters - definitely smaller portions than other premier inns (see main meal pic attached to make your own mind up). When asked how my food was, I replied not great and the portions are small, that was replied by staff saying "well you've got the meal deal". Yes a £27 for a meal deal, I would have done better with a Tesco meal deal! As usual there were items unavailable from the menu like other sites. I think Whitbread has got too big for its boots and charging approx £120 a night for what honestly is budget service, is not acceptable anymore. Only business staff with no option seem to stay these days, shame as once they were competitive and of good quality.
- GrandTour47122123259 (2/5): Very noisy and for no good reason - Building work at the hotel which we knew about, but wasn't expecting to be given a room with the scaffolding and builders actually working right in front of our bedroom window. We were woke up by a jack hammer at 8.30. As we left We noticed that across the corridor the noise was greatly reduced and at the end of the corridor, the noise was almost completely gone, So why are we right next to the building work ? At the reception we asked why we had been put there, was the hotel full? We were told no, the hotel has at least 15 rooms available but the computer selects the room and they can't do anything about it. I asked, can't you tell the system the room is occupied so it can't be selected by the computer. I was met with a look of astonishment and a reply, yes that would work. Come on, it's not rocket science!!
- 237gemg (4/5): Not the best stay - Considering it's a new hotel you'd think it had been going for year the mess of the place room wall had marks all over them mold round the bathroom area reported sick in the lift and the staff just laughed about it and said they was aware but yet the lift was still up and running not very professional check in seemed to take a while compared to premier inns iv stayed but also the customer service from. The manager wasn't great and clearly rubs off on other staff members just think they need to be a bit more friendly with there customers as first impressions say a lot!!
- Karshell (8/5): Couples trip to Cardiff - Really nice hotel, very clean and modern. Excellent location to access town as literally 5 min walk to shops and bars. Very good location if visiting Utilita arena only 8 min walk. The Gentleman who was working the evening we arrived was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely use this hotel again. The only criticism we had was that they appeared to be short staffed in restaurant, we ordered evening meal, waitress service was slow and she went home before we had dessert, I had to ask another staff member who was really helpful and sorted for us. Next morning same waitress we asked for porridge but after 15 mins we had to go and ask. In fairness to waitress she was working the restaurant on her own, more staff needed to support existing staff. The meal deal for combined breakfast and evening meal is good value and decent bar selection. Also close to Cardiff central station, although trains cancelled the day we travelled so I had to use Just Park and park about 9 mins from hotel. Overall very enjoyable trip
- 526gs526 (4/5): Showing signs of wear and tear - Once was a favourite stop on the road south, but rooms definitely showing since of wear, creaky floors, cracks in walls, flaking paint, laminate coming off furniture etc. Air-conditioning worked brilliant but was overall disappointed of the quality of the room given the price that was paid.
- emac788 (10/5): Great city centre hotel! - Really great hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable. Well situated for trains, buses, city centre.
Staff were so welcoming and friendly.
Breakfast was excellent, such a good choice, and so easy. Really nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
Over all would highly recommend.
- JamesMyerson (10/5): Good hotel, great location - A vote that was up to the usual Premier Inn standard. Close to the Utilita Arena and the city centre. Clean and tidy room and general areas. Really comfortable bed. Good ample breakfast. What’s not to like…?
- 16harleyt (6/5): Great location as its in the centre of cardiff right next to the tain station. Nice rooms. Shame about the breakfast - The room was tidy and well maintained.
The time of check in there was a queue out of the door.
The morning (27th October 2025), my partner and I went down to the restaurant for breakfast. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing.
Firstly, there was no orange or apple juice available. When trying to find a table, we struggled as many of the empty tables were covered in used plates and hadn’t been cleared. There were also no knives or forks available. When I asked a member of staff about this, I was told rather abruptly that she would “be around soon to do them,” by which time my breakfast had started to go cold. I also overheard other guests discussing the same issues, so it seemed to be a general concern that morning.
On a positive note, I would like to commend the chef, who was doing an excellent job keeping the food well-stocked and organised. It’s just a shame that the restaurant area itself wasn’t managed to the same standard.
- colynw389 (2/5): Poor - Menu as poor as the service. Young lady behind bar could not give a monkeys, menu extremely limited. Meal deal waste of time, no choice, burger or curry!!
- andrewpI7738TB (8/5): Great stay - Great hotel with be back again great bed and lovely staff great bar staff will be back again plus very good to get into town
- grgeorysgal (10/5): Top marks for customer service - Hotel is very close to the main shopping areas and is so close to the railway station and stadium . We opted for meal package and it was value for money . I had a problem with a meal and it was dealt with ,with no hesitation. Fantastic customer service . The staff are very friendly and quick to help you . Cannot fault my stay . Will use the hotel again.
- Y3436ERmaryp (10/5): Location is fantastic - The friendly staff with a fantastic location in the heart of the city gets this stay a big tick. Once you add great meal deals you have a "premium experience"
- 646jennw (8/5): Value for money - Room was clean, tidy, and quiet. Temperature was comfortable and staff were friendly and informative. Location was convenient.
However, the free wifi was barely functional and self-check-in kiosks were out of order.
Overall a good experience and good value for money.
- donnafA7376LX (2/5): Worst Premier Inn experience ever - This is the worst Premier Inn I have stayed in and I've stayed in a lot as I travel for work.
The Premier Inn is tired and dated but the Worst part is the restaurant attached to it.
I was in restaurant from 5.45pm to 7.30pm and all they managed to serve me was a starter. People who came in after me were getting their food before me so in the end I walked out before I lost my temper. The breakfast was no better as apparently they open at 6.30am but this doesn't mean the hot food is ready, Again I had to walk out before my hot breakfast was served as I'd waited 40 minutes for it but it never arrived so I had to leave for work. Continental breakfast was poor.
Do Not waste money in buying a meal deal from this Premier Inn as a complete waste of money and time.
- SD11Uk (10/5): Kindness goes a long way - The hotel is perfectly located to all the restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is very clean and the room was perfect. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I want to say a special thank you to Albin who checked if I was ok after I came down in the middle of the night and sat in the reception area. I just needed some air and he left me for a bit and then just passed me and said 'Are you ok? Do you need anything?' He probably did not realise but in that moment, he helped me so much. His kindness was very appreciated - thank you. The breakfast was also amazing.
- davesanddids (10/5): Looked after so well after breaking down, thank you Annabel! - I can’t thank the team enough, especially Annabel who truly went above and beyond. I broke down in their car park and she was absolutely wonderful, making sure I was okay, offering me coffee, and looking after me while I waited for help to arrive. You really couldn’t ask for better service or kinder people.
Breaking down isn’t something I’d recommend, but if it happens, you couldn’t be in better hands! Thank you again to Annabel and the team for turning a stressful situation into a much more bearable one.
- Patsy45 (10/5): Lovely hotel-and it's a Premier Inn! - We've been to a few Premier Inns before and had a good night's sleep but this is on another level. It's a lovely hotel with a decent restaurant, pleasant surroundings and places to sit also has the good rooms and beds you expect. We had the dinner and breakfast deal. All of the staff were great and Madison was excellent, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
- Bigphil1963 (8/5): Nice over night stay. - Externally this looks to be a run down and poor Premier inn which is so wrong.
One of the best Premier inn we have stayed at with really friendly and helpful team.
Room clean and well mainrained 116 and modern finishes.
Some black mold in bathroom but otherwise clean and well mainrained.. Nice big bath which was a bonus.
Location is remote to Cheltenham but only 10 minute drive.
- 577sheilaghb (6/5): Hotel ok - restaurant menu poor - Rooms ok but hotel looking a little tired. Bathroom a bit small. It was noisy and you can hear others tv's. The biggest disappointment was the options on the evening meal!! There were 2 curry's a couple of pizzas, infact there was nothing we could/wanted to actually eat!! You lost out on 6 meals on our stay! Don't pay for the meal deal until you check this out. Not the menu on the website. Breakfast cooked to order and continental was ok. Toaster took forever and then not toasted much. Yogurt very sour.
- Z4591JQjohna (10/5): Good Overnight Stay in a Comfy Bed - The service was friendly; the room was immaculate; the bed was comfy. Sadly, the restaurant was closed and the lifts were out of action (not a problem for me as I like to use the stairs anyway). However, the staff laid on complementary tea, coffee and pastries - very nice!
- N5949JYpaulw (10/5): Breakfast - Decided to come out for breakfast with my friend. Was lovely and fresh and got served by the lovely Dawn and annabel. They looked after us and nothing was too much trouble.
- R1628DLjaniced (8/5): Over night stay - Nice room very warm & comfortable bed. Great wet room. Good location. Nice staff. Dawn was very helpful. Was given exactly what I asked for for breakfast & cooked how I asked for. Well done.
- annemE732NR (10/5): Weekend visit - Very friendly welcoming and helpful. Room were very clean and comfortable. Overall a very pleasant hotel to stay at. Plenty of shops and places to eat nearby
- murrayms (10/5): An enjoyable stay thanks to the friendly staff. - Booked a 3 night stay at a late stage and seeing what was available, we selected this Premier Inn as the location was ideal. As we had stayed in Premier Inns in the past we knew what to expect. We were pleasantly suprised as it was more enjoyable than usual mainly due to to friendly and helpful staff, in particular, Dawn who served our breakfast every morning with a cheery smile. Our room was very clean, quiet and our request for extra pillows were provided with a smile. The food was wholesome and good and not too pricey. The only slight drawback was the internet which can be slow at peak times but if it had been essential we would have upgraded to Premium @ £5 per day. Parking and access to main routes was great so all in all a very enjoyable experience.
- Ambassador262503 (6/5): Employ more staff - The constant short staffing with PI makes for a frustrating delay in all aspects of service.
You can not expect 2 people to staff the front desk. Bar. Maitre de. Bar tender and server. Impossible situation for those workers and the result is as expected. Unacceptable.
- Scotty8511 (4/5): Not great - Constant noise of fan in bathroom
Unable to switch it off
AC not great, room hot during the night. Unable to open windows for fresh air
AC fan noisy
- 444frand (2/5): Confirmed Reservation not honoured - I reserved a twin accessible room for 24th May at this Hotel. I had a call a female from the Hotel the day before to confirm that my room would not be accessible but would still be a twin room on the ground floor. I accepted this. On the evening of 24th when my son and I went to check in, we were asked to wait by Hassan and then informed there was no room available. The fact I had a reservation meant nothing. We were also told there was no availability in the region in alternative Premier Inns. We ended up having to drive back to Bedfordshire, adding 2.5 hours onto our already tiring day and put me in a dangerous position. So much for the Hotels Duty of Care to their guests. My money was refunded shortly after but my formal complaint was not answered directly by the hotel and my follow up complaint via the website form and email to Guest relations was also ignored. I did make a further call today to Guest Relations and spoke with Shutie but got absolutely no joy in terms of goodwill or compensation. I did request their response in writing and got an email with their stance.
The bottom line is that I would no longer recommend using Premier Inns for accommodation as they cannot be relied on to keep your reservation. Furthermore they are in breach of contract and are not adhering to the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 by not providing services with reasonable care and skill. When I reserved the room and received an email confirmation that it was indeed booked, that is legally a contract.
- kazwindy (4/5): This hotel really needs some TLC - We use this hotel on a regular basis, and it's safe to say that over the years the general state of upkeep is pretty grim.
Premier inn is our go to chain for regular travel across the country, but this particular hotel falls far short of the standard we have become used to.
Mouldy bathrooms, swollen doors that need slamming to shut, net curtains not fit for purpose, holes in curtains, disgusting amounts of dust and debris around the bed. Dirty fittings..
This is NOT a reflection on staff who were friendly and great ambassadors for the brand.
I don't know if there are plans to update this hotel but it's in dire need.
- reeden1 (2/5): Nothing Premier about our stay - Premier Inn has the wrong name for sure, should drop the premier, nothing premier about our stay or rest easy. Excessively hot room with no method of cooling, no cooked breakfast as expected and continental alternative very poor. Couldn't wait to leave!
- 344clivec (8/5): Great stay - Great stay. No problems, everything ran smoothly as you’d expect from a Premier Inn. Good location. Would recommend 100%
- melaniewO3622XT (2/5): Good location for Yorkshire Dales - 1 of the worst premier inns I've stayed in, out of all the staff we seen, only 2 were polite, the rest couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge us! Aircon was off in our room and when I went to complain the lady was very abrupt with me, and then she overided it, but it still wasn't on the coldest setting, why on earth was the aircon switched off in a family room with 4 of us in it, only good thing about this place is that it's not far from Yorkshire Dale's. I will never stay at this hotel again
- beatricemP2783EM (4/5): Unsatisfactory experience - The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, and both the interior and exterior spaces aren't the cleanest. Furthermore, the advertised and available rooms aren't as pictured on the website. An unsatisfactory experience.
- mordchel (10/5): Good Night Sleep !! - Very Good Value for money. It is A Travel lodge not a hotel but the rooms was very clean , Staff very pleasant and helpful . Was nice to have large range of shops within walking distance ( Lidl Sainsbury etc ) besides the retail park.
Car park is monitored by cctv 24/7 adding to the piece of mind.
- Caravanaholic (2/5): Horrendous - We are regular users of Premier Inn as we know what to expect. This one was awful. We booked knowing there was no air conditioning but this has never been an issue previously. Both rooms on the wing we stayed were 28c on arrival, despite a cool day outside. Windows only opened a fraction. Hotel next to a busy dual carriageway so noise with window open (which was a necessity given the room temp) was awful. Minimal sleep despite all of us taking cold showers before bed. Woke up and was bitten by some kind of insect. Reported to receptionists who were lovely- they admitted the end of the hotel we were on was really hot- we noticed as we walked back to reception that even the corridor closer to reception was significantly cooler to the end we were. Gave number to contact Guest relations.
Breakfast was not up to PI standards. Limited staff meant we had to wait to be greeted. The continental selection was not topped up regularly and much was empty. Hot food was cooked fresh but the one waitress did warn everyone there would be a delay as they had 'issues" in the kitchen. Table was wiped when we were seated but had a sticky residue on and probably needed a deep clean.
Rang Guest Relations when I got home on the number given. Explained concerns. The lady was dismissive and entirely rude- said I had chosen to book a non air conditioned hotel, which is true, but she did not seem to recognise that our experience was not what we expect from PI. Very very disappointed- fobbed off. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone- especially younger or elderly guests where the rooms we stayed in did not appear to be at a safe temperature.
- 805bekkic (2/5): Run down, don’t bother. - Everything was run down. Do not visit in warm weather as the place has no air con. The fan we were given was rubbish and the room was boiling all night. The shower also wasn’t working properly.
- alexmK6746ES (2/5): Don’t even think about visiting in the summer - Utterly miserable experience. The room was unbearably hot all night. The window only opened a crack (by design) and a noisy but ineffective fan was provided. I didn’t sleep at all and was feeling really unwell due to the heat. In the early hours I decided to eat a chocolate bar to relieve the misery, it was so hot the chocolate had partially melted. And this wasn’t even a particularly hot summer’s day. I’d have honestly got more rest if I’d slept rough.
- CambridgeClimber (10/5): Good value base for visiting Richmond and surrounding area - This is one of the newer PIs with the latest room layout and air conditioning. Spotlessly clean, as they usually are, and friendly staff. As it was a Sunday night it was rather quiet so service was quick in the restaurant. Breakfast was the usual extensive buffet.
Parking is free on the adjacent shopping centre car park and there are many eating options available locally. Richmond is only a 10-15 minute drive away and the A1(M) is also close by so good for a stopover.
- _Notinterest_d (6/5): Grubby exterior/locale- not Premier at all - £200 for the night due perhaps due to temporary local high demand. Grubby seemingly uncared for exterior, black mold on window frames, dust on skirting boards, no water glasses, insufficient towels for number of guests, weak aircon. Overall, gives a poor impression, no longer Premier in any sense of the word.
Staff friendly and helpful, bed good. Good access to major roads.
- V4637XJwendyj (10/5): Excellent stay - Excellent service, very friendly, clean & helpful. Would reccomend this premier inn. Food was delicious & rooms had everything in for your needs. 5 star experience
- tazman58 (10/5): Our favourite Premier inn - Another fantastic stay and as always the staff are very polite friendly and helpful, we visit many Premier inns around the country each year and consider this as the best so a big thanks to June and the rest of the team, although like many others now it doesn't have a Brewers Fayre but there are many places to eat within walking distance such as a Hungry Horse (The Foxglove) which serves great choice of food all day.
- F2987GVjuditha (10/5): A warm welcome awaits you. - From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, we were made to feel very welcome by Sarah and her Team.
All the members of Staff we came across were polite, helpful and caring.
Our room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. We opted for the evening meal and breakfast offer, which was very good value. Our meals were well cooked and everything that was meant to be hot, most certainly was.
We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re up this way.
- NDBYS (10/5): Great stay in a premier inn - I really appreciate Premier inn’s consistency.
No matter where you stop in the country you get a decent sized, clean and well equipped room with a comfy bed.
The factors that normally set the hotels apart for me are the quality of the restaurant, the staff performance and the car parking arrangements.
I rate this hotel very highly.
The staff were simply superb.
In particular, Sarah and Danielle were brilliant. Helpful and thoughtful and genuinely interested in doing a really good job. I simply couldn’t fault them.
The food in the restaurant was great and ample free parking right outside the hotel clinched the deal.
A really good stay.
- Emma-te (10/5): Lovely staff- great for a family - We stayed here for one night in a family room. We took advantage of the meal deal for dinner and breakfast as we had been out all day and wanted something easy. The food did the job and I cannot praise the staff here enough. They were so accommodating of us and were really kind to our son and daughter as well. They even gave my son some biscuits when he left. The room was clean and comfortable and again, all staff so helpful when I asked for a bed to be taken down so I could fit in our travel cot (my mistake on booking so an extra bed was put up). This hotel is made by the staff. Thank you
- Safari200024 (4/5): Wont return to this hotel - Clean room but service in restaurant poor it was quiet (1 other family) we waited 1.5hours for food. Options for drinks were limited (only 1 draft larger working). Food options also limited. Dirty plates not removed from the table. The restaurant was cold.
- T4626HQjillc (10/5): Exceptional - This is an exceotional premier inn. The staff were amazing. My daughter could not get her room cool enough, it was very hot. The staff went out of their way to assist and supplied a fan as turning the A/C up was not doing the job. It was spotlessly clean with ample facilities. The only criticism if I have to choose one was the coffee in the room was undrinkable. I don't know if it was out of date but it was horrible. Would definitely recommend.
- Florida_bound_2007 (10/5): Very comfortable hotel in North Yorkshire. - Very pleased with a four night stay at this Premier Inn. It was easy to get to, offering available parking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.
The room and bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the air conditioning during a particularly warm period of weather. We had a couple of evening meals, as well as a breakfast, finding the food to be very tasty and good value.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we will use this hotel again.
- Freedom49661170842 (10/5): Great helpful staff - We stayed and had breakfast as a family.Great helpful staff, really well run establishment, could not do enough to help, when our 13 year old spilt breakfast cereal all over the floor they were really understanding. All in all a great place.
