• Gmiller196 (4/5): So understaffed it’s becoming embarrassing!! - Beverley Premier Inn is one of my favourites. Nice hotel, great location and the staff are always lovely. But…………… Recently it has become the norm for only person to be on duty in the evenings. They have to check people in, take food and drink orders, pour the drinks, deliver the food and drinks to the tables, take payment for the meals, clean the tables etc On top of that, the restaurant is constantly running out of food. Last week they had no chips so I had to have hash browns with my gammon, then they had no chicken, then no fish, then no cider, then no decaf coffee. Not sure what has happened recently, but the management needs to sort it out.
• victormY7193MX (10/5): Premier Plus Rooms - My wife and I had the opportunity to get a Premier Plus Room, the additional comfort was worth the cost. The walk in shower is welcoming and relaxing. The room furniture and bed offer all the comfort you could ever need from a hotel room. We highly recommend Premier Plus rooms as they are well worth the additional cost.
• ukundercover (10/5): Great stay in North Devon - We’ll locate Premier Inn on the outskirts of Bideford. I stayed in a Premier Plus room for 2 nights which was probably the nicest room I have stayed in across premier inn sites. Friendly team and good breakfast next door at Brewers Fayre. The price was very good, but it was November so low season for Devon. Parking is free need to register your car. There’s also a Starbucks and McDonald’s nearby. I think the Plus rooms are worth the extra for the a nicer stay at the right price
• Passenger676992 (2/5): Decent enough PI, but don't book the Meal Deal. - I had booked the Meal Deal online hours before arrival and arrived at dinner time (approx 7.30pm). Lady at reception told me I just needed to give my name and room number in bar/restaurant to order dinner. Girl at bar refused to serve me without proof of meal deal in the form of a printed receipt from reception. Went back to reception where lady said she would inform restaurant herself that I was indeed on the Meal Deal. Returned to restaurant, sat waiting for the while and tried ordering again. Girl at bar still refused to serve me without receipt. Returned to reception for third time and lady there actually came with me to ensure I was finally served. About forty-five minutes spent repeatedly queuing and going back and forth between reception and restaurant. Obviously no communication between staff, or proper procedure for checking if a guest is on meal deal. Also very unreasonable and unprofessional to send guest back and forth instead of staff properly sorting their own issue themselves. Hotel itself is fine and comfy, but I would advise against booking the Meal Deal for obvious reasons.
• Riverandstream (10/5): Very comfortable stay - My partner and I had a very comfortable 2 night stay here in a Premier Plus accessible room. Lovely comfy king-size bed and super-comfy pillows, spacious bedroom and bathroom, perfectly adequate clothes storage, plenty of choice of lighting including an optional and very useful purple light in the bathroom which acted as a night-light for us, table and chairs, fridge, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, very efficient shower in the wet-room. Everything was very clean and of good quality. Brewer's Fayre Restaurant a minute's walk across the large carpark. We will definitely return.

• paulwaudb (8/5): One Night's Stay - Really nice new Hotel with great facilities. Problem was that you rarely saw a member of staff so couldn't ask any questions. We ate away from the hotel so can't comment about the food. Generally a good stay at a good hotel. Really good night's sleep, room was clean and welcoming. Would recommend

• LouM313 (8/5): Great family stay - We stayed for 3 days for a wedding. Location is ideal for surrounding areas. Retail Park next door was great: Starbucks, Domino's, McDonalds, Aldi, Asda all within walking distance. Rooms are what you expect. Amazingly comfy beds. Hotel was peaceful. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Negative: NO Electic car charging points. Really disappointing. Closest one was a 20min walk away. Only 1 charger at the local independent petrol station. My husband drove the car there, and walked back while it charged. Then walked back again to collect once full. We knew this before we went, but very few car charging points in the area so chose Premier Inn based on cost factor.

• 23JamesI0262 (2/5): Terrible Experience. - I was told that the hotel was full and therefore I was put into an accessible room. The bed was nearly on the floor and was much shorter than a standard bed. No phone signal whatsoever. Room was very cold. The so called restaurant was serving a “limited” menu, because of, they said, staff shortages. There seemed to be enough staff in the restaurant as there was a group of three of them standing chatting and laughing. All in all a terrible experience.

• heatheroZ8402QB (10/5): Bideford offers alot. - On the whole the first impression of the hotel is very good: built in some form of brick, then an extension which is showing its age and would benefit from painting. Inside the atmosphere is very good, and reception very efficient: especially Janet who is very welcoming. The hotel appears very clean, an excellent job by the cleaners. Largely unseen but a very important part of the team. Noise is very good, in the sense that there is very little. Location is excellent, very close to food outlets and a supermarket; and is across the road from the shopping outlet.
• 273helenaw (6/5): Disappointed with lack of face to face reception - The hotel was really nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable. The lack of a staffed reception and on screen check in was disappointing. Although a helpful young lady appeared to assist me. I asked her if she could book me a taxi but was told this was against hotel policy.
• grahamcu (2/5): Bideford Premier Inn expensive disappointment. - Location was good. After booking and paying was then told building works in progress with limited parking, luckily we got a parking spot on arrival. Booked a Premier Plus room and even though it was clean we didn't want and require a disabled room. Due to being a timber frame construction very little sleep was experienced due to noise from the room above. Only one set of towels in room, limited meal times that didn't suit, builders dust and footprints along some corridors. Meals were expensive and poor quality for what you get and certainly not worth the money. I had a runny chicken curry with about four pieces of chicken, and came with chips and not rice would have been nice to have had the option and poppadom or Naan bread would have been good. Drinks options on meal deal not worth having and to restrictive. Overall a very disappointing experience costing towards £200 which for the quality of what we received is disgusting.
• Roving778095 (10/5): Pub crawl in Beverley - Great stay,good comfy beds. Beverley is a great pub over road is quite strange and didn't have any beer,rest of the stay was grand.
• FGoesToHinchleyWood (6/5): A shower straight out of 'Psycho' - You expect a certain standard from a Premier Inn and this one wasn't too bad, but lacking someone looking at the details. The soap dispenser in the bathroom is at eye level and the top was rusty. The a/c fan made a clonking noise like a car running on one punctured tyre, the 'legendary' pillows were ordinary pillows but it was the shower that was most jarring, it yowled the moment you switched it on. That might be fine but we arrived at midnight and felt we were waking up the whole hotel as it screamed out water. And apparently you have to ask if you want them to make up the room for the next day. Staff were very helpful and it hasn't put us off going to another Premier Inn, it just needs someone to check rooms thoroughly.
• Yorkie017 (8/5): Standard Premier inn. - Good Location . Staff are really friendly. Breakfast is good. We did have an issue as the showerhead had a jet which went from the back of the rose and onto the towel rail. We stayed over a weekend Friday to Mon so there was no maintenance available. We had to move the towel to prevent it getting wet. Beds are comfortable. They did give us two keys but only one at a time worked.
• AlanTB_UK (4/5): Hotel OK but not with building and restricted parking - Building work underway means less parking...and mess, and because of the number of new homes also being built next door it is full of tradesmen and their oversized vans meaning parking is even worse. I stayed here to go to a funeral and at the time of trying to depart for teh funeral the car park was rammed with delivery lorries trying to unload building materials. I could only get my car out through the help of other guests moving their cars...awful. The Brewers Fayre across the way were complaining that their customers couldn't park as well. Navigating the corridors with plastering and painting underway was not great!
• S4997TBrayh (8/5): Good - When arrived room not ready due to staff mixup but the lovely Janet on the desk sorted it .all the staff very helpful breakfast good apart from cold plates again staff in restaurant where all helpful .
• Mark_Bath_UK (8/5): Well situated hotel for exploring Beverley - Ideally situated for a visit to Beverley Minister and a fifteen minute walk from the Saturday market, we found this Premier Inn to be friendly and clean. The room was larger than Premier Inn rooms are normally - not sure why as it wasn't an Ultimate room. We ate in the restaurant one evening and found the food to be enjoyable. Overall, a good place to stay in Beverley.

• Yogitheelder (10/5): A good stopover. - The lodge was perfect for us to tour North Devon and located just off the A39. It was comfortable and located with a restaurant and other feeding outlets within walking distance. The lodge was quiet, comfortable and perfect for our needs.
• popstar1701 (8/5): Overall a nice place to stay - Location is great and the room although not as updated as some other Premiers, is more than adequate. I did get stung in the restaurant when happy hour wasn’t as it seemed, but overall the stay was good
• Locksmith59 (10/5): Premier Inn Bideford ... Atlantic Way - We stayed 3 nights at Premier Inn Bideford once again while visiting RHS Rosemoor in Torrington. It is undergoing Room Upgrades so was very busy during the day with Workmen (This didn't really affect us though) The new Rooms are excellent ... ours one that had only been occupied for 7 nights previously. As usual a warm welcome (our 3rd time at this hotel) with a very quick check-in. We were asked to report any problems with our room as it was so newly refurbed. Pleased to say no problems at all. The carpark very busy but no problem getting a space (and no parking charge (Bonus 👍😉👍) Thank you Premier Inn Bideford 5☆☆☆☆☆ 👍
• babslewis1955 (10/5): Great place to stay - Great place to stay, good if you can a deal as can be a bit over priced (£119 for a Wednesday night) but could be better if booked well in advance. Affinity shopping centre is walking distance, Bideford town about a 30 minute walk or five minute drive
• robertgU9221WE (8/5): Great staff, but not the best Premier Inn we've used. - Overall not quite as good as other Premier Inns we've used. Staff were good, friendly, helpful, but some miggles with the room and breakfast. We do like to be able to have fresh air on demand, so the sealed window was unwelcome. The bathroom fan didn't work reliably and needs attention. The restaurant was a bit on the chilly side. The toaster took a LONG time to toast bread... enough time to get a coffee, get cooked food, and drink the coffee. I had to request scrambled eggs, and they were very granular - my daughter described them as "like popcorn". Bacon was quite dry and chewy, yet somehow with stringy fat. The rest was as expected though. Disappointing breakfast compared to other Premier Inns.

It was a surprise for my husband for our first wedding anniversary. She even left us a card and party poppers. The staff are all so friendly, the service, food and drinks were all lovely. Thank you.

• juliehS9726JR (10/5): Beverley weekend visit - A Wonderful stay,we was catered for exceptionally well from before we arrived, best tip is to ring ahead with any queries or needs and speak to them personally, I did and they went above and beyond, Room perfect a little dust in places but nothing to complain about,all the staff are helpful very friendly and jolly from meet and greeting to dining staff, have you ever stayed somewhere we you could be left to your own devices but looked after impeccably at the same time, Beverley its self is a beautiful place to stay, I was visiting my son and his partner as they live and work there now, yes Beverley you are extremely lucky to have them as I miss them enormously but I do get to come to your very welcoming town and enjoy what you offer

• Andy0166 (2/5): Car parking is not free - Went to visit my Daughter and Granddaughter and drove down for the weekend. No signage about car parking charges in the car park and I have never had any parking issues in the past when I stayed here to see family. However two weeks after staying at the premier inn bideford paying exorbitant summer holiday rates I just received two parking charges bills totalling £120 (£60 per day of my stay), do not make this mistake and read any parking signs in the car park very carefully. Complete rip off.
• Shyrob62 (4/5): A mixed experience - Friendly and efficient service with good food. However, our room, 319, had hair in the shower, faecal spots in the toilet, drink stains on surfaces, and a smelling carpet which smelt worse as the temperature increased.
• ramabham73 (4/5): Ok for one night - Reception staff came across as unfriendly and irritated. The room was clean and fine. Parking on the street is nearly impossible; underground parking is the only option but expensive. Fine for one night, but not recommended for a longer stay.
• m_dilara_oney (6/5): Disappointed - We stayed for 4 nights. On the 3rd day, we requested housekeeping because our bed sheet got dirty. However, they simply straightened the bed, left the dirty sheet in place, and just pulled the duvet over it — and called it "cleaning." Apparently, this is what they consider room service. Unfortunately, it was far below our expectations and turned out to be a disappointing experience.
