• ashleycO1533BD (10/5): Letter of Commendation - Letter of Commendation To the Management Team, I don’t often find the time — or the genuine need — to write letters of commendation. I travel extensively for work and stay across a broad range of hotel groups, from IHG and Hyatt to Marriott and Hilton. Consistency varies, service varies, and usually the experience is simply “good enough” for the nature of my job. My two-week stay at Premier Inn has stood out so clearly that it warranted being put on record. Everything started with a genuine welcome from the two lynchpins of your hotel, Gary and Brogan. Their professionalism, warmth, and day-to-day presence set the tone from the moment I arrived. They remained visible and engaged throughout my stay, and in my view they are managers in all but title — the type of talent any organisation should be developing for the next step. They were supported by an excellent night team who handled my overnight working patterns and regular late-night cigarette breaks with patience, good humour, and a constant “Is there anything you need?” attitude. Not once did I feel like an inconvenience; if anything, they made the disruption feel normal. The service has been seamless, consistent, and genuinely welcoming in a way that’s rare in this industry. Staff went out of their way, friendly and efficient. Room was very good value and spacious, clean. Very quiet night’s sleep too considering it was Halloween

The room was very clean and comfortable . The bathroom was lovely and clean , we asked for extra towels which as given to us very quickly. The breakfast was really nice. • L3574SZkarenb (2/5): Foul bathroom smell ruined our stay at the Premier Inn - There was a foul smell coming from the bathroom due to a broken shower waste trap of which they were aware of. There were no other rooms available so receptionist used spray to mask the smell. Unfortunately the smell had returned by the morning and we had to vacate the room early. Very disappointed as it ruined our stay.
• Road81320 (8/5): Better Place to stay - First of all, the location is very convenient for transportation. The staff is clean and friendly. Only the WIFI could work a little more effectively. The messages came but I couldn't watch the video.
• Companion16352468167 (10/5): Fantastic - We stayed here as a group of ladies who meet up regularly for a catch up, the service was fantastic from check in to breakfast. The manager was lovely and the receptionist was so helpful too. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
• Fabwitch (4/5): Disruption from cleaning staff - The maid knocked on my door three times between 9.30 and 10.30am. I wanted a lay in. Gave up and got up and left hotel. Only to find all the trains were cancelled. Usually Brentwood is very good but to knock three times within the hour when I don’t need to leave the room until 12pm is not acceptable. All I wanted was some peace and quiet after a night out in town. Very disappointed . Also took ages to book in, only one machine to check inn and there was a school party being sorted out by the main desk. Very long queue built up to check in. Room was very good, clean and combed.

We arrived quite late after a concert in Cardiff, this hotel was on our way home so very convenient. It had great free parking, the staff member on check in was very pleasant & welcoming. The room was very clean and the best part was….it had sockets by the bed!! Me and my partner are forever sharing a plug by the TV when we stay away but this one was fab! Had a fan, hairdryer, very nice shower! Couldn’t of picked a better hotel.

• Bondddana (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again - I wouldn’t go back.. Corridors smell, the hotel is dated and the standard of rooms very poor. We had one set of towels between us, broken curtains and a broken hair dryer.
• BRIXHAMPIRATE (10/5): Overnight Stay - We stayed overnight going to our sons wedding in Norfolk.We booked a Premier Plus room and was highly delighted with the room and a fabulous bathroom .It was room 805 which had views of the Main Street. We parked in a small car park behind overnight and we had a great freshly cooked breakfast .Very central to the town and very clean .

• 114caseyj (10/5): Amazing - 10/10. Staff were so accommodating. We booked a twin room but on arrival we discovered that only one bed had been made up. We made the staff at reception aware, we were going out for food at the time so they made the bed up while we were out with no fuss made. We had a lovely night sleep. The staff at breakfast were faultless - so kind and helpful. We will definitely stay again.
• C2395SUsaral (10/5): Great stay, great location. - Nice friendly staff, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Everything was great. Not sure if the waterfall shower was working or not (might have been me knowing how to turn it on), but it was fine with just the handheld shower.

Wifi kept lagging even though upgraded it. Fire alarm was ringing aroubd 3pm on morning to find out theres no fire..
• martinrW7809EB (10/5): Overnight stay - We needed to stay overnight on our way to our sons wedding in North Norfolk.Booking in was a delight and very easy .The room 805 was on the eighth floor and was very clean .We parked at the the car park at the rear of the hotel. Great night sleep and a good breakfast .Will certainly be staying again ,good value ,staff very helpful .
• 657sharonf (10/5): Brilliant Family Breakfast - We recently visited the restaurant connected to the Premier Inn in Bridgend next to the McArthur Glen designer outlet . We were two families sharing some quality time together . My three young Grandson's made up our family gathering , so we asked if we could bring across another table to help with the seating . This was sorted out immediately and nothing was too much trouble . The lady who helped us with taking our order was so polite , cheerful and helpful , I believe she was called Sharon . Thank you Sharon for making us feel very welcome . Another two ladies who I believe were called Lynda and Sarah helped to make our visit just perfect . My Grandson's were given a couple of little stretchy toys and a lollipop each and afterwards a little treat of a sachet of Nutella . This was a lovely little gesture and totally unexpected ! Everyone enjoyed delicious food and felt really looked after by all the staff . Thank you to all the team who helped to make our Family Breakfast a brilliant experience !

• eveu2018 (6/5): Weekend stay - Very noisy, Four men arguing at the main entrance and they was just left to talk and chat loudly for over two hours so could not sleep Stairwell and corridors were very dirty and not cleaned, Car parking is an extra charge and a total rip off.

• mirians967 (8/5): Highly recommended but ask for more towels - The Premier Inn in Brentwood was very good. I will certainly stay there again and highly recommend it. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The only disadvantages were only two tea bags and no coffee in our room plus just one hand towel and one bath towel. It would be useful to be told when booking in, where to get more.

Excellent breakfast service. Two wonderful members of staff, Sharon and Helene couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Well done Premier Inn. High standard as always.

• Marigold1309 (10/5): Centre located hotel with added food and drink options for room stays. - A few nights were spent here for a local event that was being undertaken and this place was in the right area, breakfast and an evening meal was had and rooms were of good quiet quality for the stay that was being had. There is an option to add an evening meal to the deal that was being taken in the hotel that stay.

Only downside was the fan as it seemed like we either had a faulty one or it was just one power savings as hardly give us any cool air. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as all spaces taken up outside the hotel but managed to get the mini bus in across of it. Miller and Carter is next to it which was nice to go for drinks but couldn't get in as too many of us

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We are a vegan family and like the fact that they provide full cooked breakfast options for us so we don't feel that we have to miss out or make do.
• andreadE5823IH (10/5): “Maybe tomorrow” only phonics fans would understand.. - Girls weekend My friend and I were going to see the Stereophonics in Cardiff So we booked here and caught the train to Cardiff, We had asked for an early check in which was fab as it allowed us to have a breather before venturing out again. We had a fab welcome from the lady on reception sorry I didn’t get her name but she had fab bright pink nails,she has booked us into a downstairs room which was heaven as it was nice and cool down there it was 37degrees outside. We had a fab sleep and went up for breakfast, I opted for the veggie breakfast and it was delicious,the bacon well it’s called”it’s not bacon” was yummy it tasted like bacon but its appearance was nothing like bacon. The poached eggs were to die for and the chef even came out to have a chat with us.I told her the breakfast was great and that I enjoyed the “it’s not bacon” she was delighted to think I had taken the time to say how nice it was. Would definitely stay here again,great value for money and central to Cardiff,Swansea and a great little outlet for shopping next door along side a big Sainsbury’s. Thank you team Bridgend for a fab stay.
• sharonbW1084AO (10/5): Visit to cardiff - We were going to see sterephonics on friday 11th july. Stayed at this premier inn for the 1st time. Wow what a welcome we had. The manager sarah is an absolute credit to you, and Helena that was on reception. These ladies were wonderful. Thank you both for such a lovely stay. Hope to see you again very soon.
• 222jacquiec (6/5): Nice but could have been a little better - Lovely clean room, however the toilets in both of the rooms were dirty. One hadnt been flushed the other had skidders. There was no toilet brush to clean it either. They were left by the previous person. Rooms have been renovated since my last visit and were nice. No air conditioning so a little warm. There was a fan which helped a little. Overall not bad but iron out the little niggles. Receptionist was lovely when we arrived. There was icy cold water on the reception desk which was a nice touch and welcome as it was super hot. I heard a dog barking a few times. House are not they close so not sure where it was coming from..overall a nice stay with little niggles. Would definitely use again though
• 298clairew (4/5): Poor service - Only went to have breakfast at the hotel on our way to West Wales. What a massive disappointment! We arrived at about 9:30am and ordered our food pretty quickly. We then waited eagerly for it to arrive. It took 40 minutes which was abysmal service. When I asked why it had taken so long, I was told that hotel guests who arrived in the restaurant after my husband and I were served before us due to hotel policy of serving the hotel guests BEFORE any non-residential guests. This policy is unfair and needs to be changed. 'Restaurant apartheid' is the term that my husband used for the poor service that we received today!

Situated next to Miller & Carter and beside McArthur Glen Shopping village there’s enough to keep you entertained on site. Next to bus stop for direct travel to Cardiff if you don’t want to drive
