Guest Reviews
- O438VMrachelr (2/5): Weaker Premier Inn - A weak Premier Inn - below par experience
- B1927ZWjamesm (10/5): Quite a nice place - Been going for a while and its pretty good, very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful
- kieran095 (8/5): Cosy Stay - Booked a standard double room through their website in January 2026 to stay in March 2026 with the option to pay on arrival which I did via cash. I booked this room as myself and my partner were attending a music concert just up the road at the university and found this hotel to be in quite a convenient location as it was just a stone's throw away from the university. I arrived by train and took a short walk from the train station which was just around the corner. I used Google Maps as I wasn't too familiar with the area. On arrival at the hotel, I was greeted by a friendly member of staff on reception and checked in without any issue. I found there were plenty of car parking spaces available. You could key in your car number plate registration on a screen, and I was advised it would cost £8.00 which I believed to be reasonable. This was handy for my partner who arrived later with the car.
The room allocated was on the fourth floor overlooking The Bluebrick and the main road. The corridor outside the room was quiet. The room itself was very spacious, clean and warm. It had a kettle, hair dryer, air conditioning, free tea and coffee supplies, bottle opener and a flat screen TV on the wall. It didn't have a fridge or coffee machine, and I understand an iron with ironing board was available on request. The bed was super comfy and there were spare pillows in the room along with clean towels although there wasn't the purple Premier Inn mood lighting. The shower in the bathroom was powerful, and there was free shampoo and body wash pumps on the wall including a bath which was a nice surprise. The room had WIFI, but we didn't really use it that much and there were plugs with charging ports next to both sides of the bed. Unfortunately, we didn't stay for breakfast as we hadn't booked it, but there is an Aldi on the residential estate not too far away from the hotel.
Overall, I'd say it was both a comfortable and cosy night's stay, sufficient for an evening and the room did what it said on the tin. Only downside was the cost at £82.00 but I largely suspect this is because of the location and maybe time of the year with the concert on up the road. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend to others.
- Getukas2009 (10/5): Wonderful staff - It was a lovely stay. Shout out to Leon for being really accommodating! He noticed my room was booked on the ground floor and offered to change the room to one on the 4th floor instead for the ground floor. As a woman, safety and feeling safe is always number one so I’m really grateful he was so kind to do this!
- KayleighJones1992 (10/5): Lovely room and bed - Stayed over night for an event at the grand theatre. Not a far walk in the city centre 10 mins max
Room was spotless and looked like it had recently been done out. Best mattress I’ve ever slept on so comfy
Most staff were friendly but one in the restaurant had a chip on shoulder asked for a straw and she got another member of staff to fetch me one whilst she stood there at the till. Food was good both in evening and for breakfast
- bobfY4502BW (4/5): Staff and breakfast experience really poor!! - On arrival the staff seemed ok, not at all interested or welcoming but neutral however each time we walked passed them they were constantly whispering and seemingly uninterested in anyone but themselves. The room was standard for a Premier Inn (we stay all over the country most weeks for sports) so no complaints there. The biggest disappointment was breakfast and in particular the waiting staff that acted very bizarrely. Before acknowledging our presence she decided to"finger" all of the pastries pushing them around into a certain order. She then came over to us and we told her room etc and allergies response to which she sniggered and then asked the same questions again. We sat where told roughly and got it own menus. Then came the really bizarre behaviour. As we say looking at the menu there was music playing. She proceeded to sing very loudly to each song while cleaning tables and doing her own thing. Half of the juices had nothing in them, no milk for cereals and fingered pastries were our starter, plus the most awful concert??? We finally ordered breakfast with another snigger, are and left. Basically the hotel and food is good, however whoever recruits the staff needs firing. Clearly as a City Centre hotel they just don't care about making you feel welcome. My family and I felt uncomfortable from minute 1 until we left due to all the staff. SO disappointing.....
- ragman1960 (10/5): Excellent location, wonderful breakfast. - A few years since we stayed here, still an excellent location and the breakfast is worth the price, had a good time with friends and a great location for the city centre.
- sarahwY2955RF (10/5): Lovely hotel and staff - Perfect location, close to the University we were visiting and good local amenities. Car park was easily accessible. Both the outside and the inside of the hotel were clean and well presented. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and well looked after. It had everything we needed. Good value for money and quiet too.
- Humblebumble007 (6/5): Disappointed - Check in was ok, room as expected room a bit chilly. Bit annoying having to pay for parking small car park near to entrance full, had to park a fair distance in other part of car park. Not good as it was raining and wooden gangways to walk on.
The restaurant was the biggest downfall as we had to leave the hotel and walk the before mentioned gangway. A nuisance when raining.
Only about 3 other customers. Was asked if we had booked which we hadn't but was shown to our seats. I had the fish and chips the batter was overcooked as was the French fry chips. Not chips at all the mushy peas were not hot. Very disappointed. I must say tge lady server was wonderful she was the only one working that evening
Next morning we thought we would chance breakfast. We were waiting by the sign to be seated a lady came over and asked had we booked we said no. She said can we come back later, there were only two tables occupied. We said not really. She tgen said she was new and couldn't take payments. So had to go back out in the rain to reception they asked did she say you can have breakfast. Back to restaurant got a seat she asked what we wanted she didn't give us a menu to choose from. We went to get the continental while we waited for the cooked breakfast but to our astonishment the breakfast arrived basically straight away, so this was not cooked to order as the bacon was like cardboard and none of the food very hot. By time we left there was a line of of over 12 to 15 people waiting to be seated.
I wouldn't stay here again.
Park hall hotel and spa is fantastic.
- MattChampion (10/5): Super helpful staff (Leon) - We arrived late night with a large amount of audio visual equipment and LEON was super helpful in helping us transport it all to our room. Thank you for going the extra mile!!
- Samantha567654 (8/5): Fantastic staff member Peps in the Bluebrick! - Standard facilities as expected in a premier inn.
Breakfast at the adjacent Bluebrick restaurant which was rather underwhelming, but the absolute highlight of the day was Peps, staff at the Bluebrick. She was working very hard and efficiently, but did it with such a lovely and friendly attitude, singing and smiling as she worked, treating everyone with such respect and kindness, made everyone feel welcome even when it was quite busy. She was an absolute delight and made my day!
- Malc196 (10/5): Lovely hotel - We booked this hotel because it was close to the train station and very reasonably priced. Check in was quick and easy. The room was large and clean lovely comfortable bed and good shower will definitely stay here again.
- Eddie730 (10/5): Fabulous Hotel very close to the Railway Station - This Wolverhampton Premier Inn is lovely! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and just a 5 minute walk from the railway station. I recommend it.
Our room was on the ground floor. A comfortable bed, usb charging points by the bed, two chairs and a table, a well appointed bathroom and good use of hanging space/hospitality tray area. I can't comment on the WiFi nor the carpark as I didn't use them.
Breakfast was delicious and I recommend it. There is a lovely breakfast person on duty. They are greeting guests, coming to take your cooked breakfast order and then delivering breakfasts. I can imagine that at busy times, and at busy times of year that this means that breakfast can be a slow meal.
I'd strongly suggest that if you are in a rush then you go continental. You can just help yourself, lots of choice, you'll have a good meal. At your speed. In your time. You are fully in control of your timings.
Niggles?
Yeah - even with a 5 star rating and here they are:
#When arriving by foot, it isn't at all clear where reception is - it was dark when we arrived and we ended up walking all the way around the hotel before we stumbled across the main entrance;
#There is no decaff coffee in reception/restaurant/hospitality tray;
#Hot drinks machine in the restaurant is SLOW.
Apart from these, this Premier Inn is lovely and we can't wait to come back!
- gillianhW4854HF (10/5): 2 day visit - Was central to train and bus services, walking distance to town centre.
Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Location was quite
- Pioneer39207085148 (10/5): Excellent accommodation - Friendly staff, great clean room with a very comfortable bed.
This hotel is perfectly situated for all amenities.
Parking is not free.
- suefH7862NC (6/5): Hotel ok. Pub/restaurant no longer fully open - Hotel lovely but spoilt by the pub/restaurant no longer fully open. Breakfast service needed more staff for the amount of guests
- 169harmank (2/5): Disappointing Experience at Reception - We booked a room today and went to the reception. The receptionist Diljit and another lady behaved in a judgmental way. They looked at us, looked at each other and started laughing for no reason. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. we stayed for about an hour and then decided to leave she also asked us to write down our nationality on a piece of paper and we are not sure why this was necessary. Overall, it was not a good experience
- BudgetCountess (2/5): Clogged toilets, don't waste your money - no stars actually! - Really disgusting place.
The toilet was completely blocked and wouldn't flush. The reception staff couldn't have been more indifferent if they tried.
Dirty cutlery in the hospitality tray, still showing signs of previous use.
By far the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed at, and I've been to my fair share.
- brianS5557AX (4/5): Don't believe any price given! - Overcharged to the price that I was given when I booked the room back in February 2025, The reduced car parking rate, as promised was not honored too. Poor service.
- pauljH8168HN (10/5): Friendly welcome in nice quiet hotel - Stayed overnight after travelling from Cambridge to watch Wolves play. Very convenient location with plenty of parking available. Nice quiet room which was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee provided with a kettle to use. The WiFi was extremely good in my room. Delicious breakfast served by a friendly waitress. Welcoming friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Wolverhampton.
- Travel57813990185 (10/5): Welcoming and efficient for a solo business stay - It's a lovely new Premier Inn, clean and cosy. Ate in the restaurant and was looked after by Tracy who, although very busy, managed to be efficient, pay attention to individual customers and serve us all in good time.
- steverC4216NN (4/5): Poor service for disabled clients - Nice hotel but accessible rooms need to be maintained not a great experience would not feel safe if was alone.
The team are great and offer a great service but if you need WiFi forget it it’s non existent even when you pay for it
The breakfast was great although not great you have to walk across to restaurant so you get soaked if raining
- davidbC8709SE (10/5): Outstanding Service - The bluebrick premier inn was welcomed by Tracey the duty Manager she was outstanding and very warm and welcoming definitelywill be returning and also thank you to dalpreet 😀
- ChrisL3176 (6/5): Nice hotel, bad on site restaurant. - General -
Hotel rooms were clean and tidy.
Car Park -
I arrived at 1700 and car park wasn't too bad with lots of spaces remaining.
Hotel Entrance -
Its not very clear where the hotel entrance is. Lights on the walkway were out and ther is no clear signage.
Phone and Wifi -
My EE signal was poor so I started off with the complementary WiFi and then spent £5 for ultimate WiFi, which was equally as bad. I tried to work out how to get my money back but gave up. Just don't bother.
Food -
Food is served in The Bluebrick restaurant adjacent to the hotel. It wasn't great and to be honest I was a bit shocked when I was asked to give feedback after such a poor experience. I went for dinner and the service was dire. There wasn't any atmosphere and at one point ther was 5 of us on our own tables sitting in silence. There is no music other than a TV turned up very loud in the bar area. I was skipped several times by the waiting staff and my request for the starter to be brought at the same time as the main was ignored.
The food itself once it arrived was good. Not bad, not amazing. Just watch the service.
- 735miril (6/5): Kind people functional - This is a basic hotel there is tea and coffee and cattle in the room The rooms are clean, reasonable size , location is good if u need the city / campus nearby the people at the nearby restaurant where breakfast is served are nice . Breakfast is ok. No lounge or common area . Leon at the reception was particularly helpful and kind to us despite the very late hour of our arrival .
- M3579EUgregp (10/5): Great experience with excellent staff - Excellent experience, staff were helpful and friendly on each occasion. Very good customer service from Tracey, Dalpreet and Gaby. Food was delicious and served quickly. Can happily recommend a visit.
- Wanderer44140323888 (6/5): DO NOT BOTHER WITH THE EVENING MEAL - I stayed here for a week while attending the university. The room was clean, tidy, and appears to have been updated recently. The beds were very comfortable and spotless, which made for a good night’s sleep.
Unfortunately, the free Wi-Fi was practically non-existent. every time you lock your device it logs you out. There was a paid option at £5 per day but I did not have hope. Additionally, there was no mobile data signal or phone service either.
Breakfast was average. At times it wasn’t hot (warm ish), or the wrong items were brought out. Unlike a standard Premier Inn where you help yourself, here you must order what you want and it’s brought to your table. This setup makes the “unlimited” breakfast feel somewhat limited, as staff don’t usually check back to offer more and just clear the plate.
Parking is £8 for 24h from time of checkin.
DO NOT BOTHER WITH THE EVENING MEAL
The biggest disappointment was the restaurant in the evening. Service was very slow, and several menu items were unavailable. On arrival at reception we said there was 8 of us wanting to eat to be told to check if they can serve us as it’s a large group. Our group of eight were the only diners there upon arrival, some meals arrived after 5 minutes, others after 40. Throughout this time other diners arrived and were served food before all of ours were brought out. On another visit, the restaurant was half full with four staff on duty, yet no one seemed to know what was happening or to be in any rush. We also weren’t informed about a 45-minute wait for food until we overheard staff discussing it where the manager told them not to seat anymore people.
When requesting a gluten-free menu, we were given a red folder listing allergens for each dish rather than a proper menu. It would be much more helpful to have a dedicated gluten-free or allergy-specific menu.
There are, however, plenty of good-quality restaurants just a 10-minute walk into the city that offer far better food and service.
- iain2eye5 (10/5): Banging food - Just checked in @ Wolverhampton Prem, new item on the menu Chicken Tikka Skewer and rolled with the curry theme and had a Katsu Curry for main…..wow!! Both full of flavour, perfectly cooked so if you over this way, definitely worth ordering, very tasty. Big shout to the Chefs Tom and Geeta, don’t know which of you guys made it, but it was banging 👍
- evonnedisciples (4/5): Needs improvement - Premier inn Wolverhampton City Centre was very disappointing. No choice of teas, or herbal teas in room, no hot chocolate, one Nescafé coffee sachet. No biscuits.
If you needed Reception you had to take the lift downstairs as there were no phones in rooms and no information in rooms of the number to ring them if needed. Also no details in room about WiFi password. No irons. We had to go to reception to get an iron and there were no irons available at check in and still none available next morning when we went for breakfast.
Breakfast was held in a building across a ramp which meant putting on my boots and coat as it was cold and raining.
It was £137 for the night plus £10.99 for breakfast . The breakfast wasn't that great. There was a long queue to be seated for breakfast. The coffee was nice but a small selection of cereals. You ordered breakfast which was brought to tables, this caused a delay.. it would have been quicker if it was buffet. The vegetarian sausage and vegetarian "bacon," wasn't nice. Also the beans were horrid but the bread and eggs were fine. The chief "waiter," was stressed, unhelpful and not very friendly and when asked a simple question she complained about how she had to do everything. A bit unprofessional when all I asked was where were the forks?
The bed was comfortable albeit they were a bit high for people 5 feet and under. I had a good sleep. The ground floor bedroom bathroom smelt of drains.
The receptionists were nice.
For the price paid for the room it definitely was not worth it. We didn't enjoy Breakfast. I wouldn't choose a Premier Inn again based on our experience.
- aldofO4117BZ (10/5): Fly to UK ........always Premier Inn ......makes me feel at home :-) - I always choose Premier Inn as I feel at home ......Secured, safe, comfort, fast check in and more, so if Premier Inn is available and good price I book straight away.
- CastleResident (10/5): 3 Night visit for Concert - Stayed here for 3 nights for a concert at the Civic Hall, Verity was very efficient on check in & out, and quite chatty eventually, the room (319) was as per a Premier Inn standard room (usually do PremierPlus), the bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and tidy, the Breakfast as ever was spot on (always go early 6.45-7.15am), Plated to order and excellent, brilliant scrambled eggs, and finally the piece de resistance was undoubtedly Peps who with her cheerful demeanor and singing talents made just being at Breakfast a pleasure.
- PaulCFC (8/5): Great but - Went for football, good location for parking (if get there reasonable time we were early 2pm ish) Supermarket close quick walk to town and Molineux. Reception gets busy we were there early so easy. The parking was confusing to understand but just go to reception and pay on the machine there.
They have a bar in the well known pub opposite but is only open for Premier Inn stayers.
But breakfast well .... we did not pay in advance as not sure wanted, the one lady serving after paying (She was fantastic all in stride cheerful BRILLIANT) got us in but 10 minutes later the queue wow not her fault took 35 minutes to get Brekkie ..... there was one person doing all the breakfast orders, clearing, taking to table ... you know every thing apart from one person cooking in the kitchen .... they were great have to say
Now the internet .... WIFI in and out so bad sometimes it would work for someone else but not another? Awful even 5g 4g but it seemed to be a problem in Wloverhampton itself
- J7666VFandrewr (10/5): Wolverhampton - wander no more this place was fab - Lovely hotel - great surroundings too, warm welcome at check in and lovely room. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had - John the chef did the best poached eggs :)
Looked after well in the restaurant by Tracey too, it was a great experience
- C7944LXsharonm (4/5): The Inn - At reception was fine kind and friendly apart from one question asked which i disproved of, room was ok bath i found abit high to climb out after having shower but all good. Breakfast on our stay very disappointing had to take photo of our raw croissant
- Keith1815 (2/5): Stay ruined by rude staff - Hotel was fine but the tone of the stay was ruined by the inexplicable rudeness of the reception staff at checkin. Some immediate customer service training would be advisable. Terrible way to to welcome guests.
- C6338KZhelent (4/5): Do not have food here! - Room was lovely, clean and just what we needed for 1 night for myself and young daughter.
However, do not pay for the food!
Booked our table for 5pm, turned up and was asked to come back in half hour as chef only just arrived.
Once we returned we were asked to take a table in the bar area.
All the chairs were torn.
The table we ended up at had not been cleaned from the evening before. There were peanuts strewn across the floor. I wish I had taken pictures as proof.
The toilets in the restaurant were also disgusting.
4 toilets, and 3 had not been flushed from the night before.
1 toilet seat was all broken and could not be used to sit on.
We had already paid for the meal deal otherwise I would have walked out. Having already paid we were really hoping breakfast would be better.
At breakfast we were told to go and take a seat and we would have our order taken.
20 minutes passed and I eventually asked if we could order.
Once the breakfast arrived, everything was overcooked. The hash browns had no softness to them as they had been cooked so much. The bacon also overcooked. The sauces were nice but small. The poached egg was also overcooked so the only runny yolk was what was on my plate.
I have never had an experience like this and will certainly not return.
It wasn't even a case of you get what you pay for as it isn't really cheap.
- 866suer (10/5): Great quality for a very reasonable price - This hotel is very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money! The rooms are well equipped, the bed is comfortable at a great price point.
- HolidaymakerfromHove (6/5): Weekend in wolverhampton - A well located hotel close to the station and town centre.Room was clean and tidy and comfortable. However as with every review I have done for this group the Wi-Fi is appalling.
- B4959EBanthonyn (6/5): Good Stay - good hotel and has neem refurbished recently. Not the best of locations. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful
- marink246 (2/5): Impolite restaurant staff at breakfast. - Very rude and impolite Indian or Pakistani staff in the restaurant at breakfast. I was there with two children under 16 and wanted to purchase a full breakfast which included 2 children under 16 eating for free. An Asian staff member told me that there was no such option. This happened on 28th September.
- Parmos4life (8/5): Lovely hotel , avoid the bar and restaurant. - The hotel itself is what you’d expect from a premier inn , comfy beds , lovely rooms . Staff are great , it’s right next to main train station and town center . The adjoining restaurant and bar though , it’s about as appealing as a dentist waiting room , avoid ! There’s plenty of places nearby . I didn’t bother with the breakfast , it’s the premier inn, I’m sure the foods fine x
- 74VickiD (4/5): I won't be staying again - Reception not very well signposted from main road. Customer service was very poor upon check in and check out. They couldn't order a taxi for me unless I paid cash! I couldn't. Not a nice place to walk alone.
- Wrathmonk (10/5): Quality Service - From start to finish the staff were superb. The check in was seamless and parking arrangements sorted without fuss - sorry, didn’t manage to click your name! Tracey and Gab on evening duties in the bar/restaurant and Peps on breakfast were just the happiest, friendly and enthusiastic souls going. Food was well prepared, very tasty and delivered without delay (although I prefer both the cold and hot options to be on the buffet rather than just the cold, particularly if time is tight and there are a lot of orders going in!). Room was spotless. Very happy customers!
- whitty8105 (10/5): Peps the waitress is amazing. - Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, clean rooms and loads of parking, Peps the breakfast waitress always greets with a smile and brightens your day ( what a lovely lady, thankyou).
- Q2512XXashleyw (10/5): Pep’s number one !! - The Food is great Peps is the best always friendly , and sets a positive for every morning setting everyone up for the day.
- robgL7771IY (10/5): Fantastic and friendly service. - Excellent service, despite the fact it was busy Tracey and Lee were fantastic, funny and welcoming. Good food, friendly service. I’m now trying to think of additional words as I can’t leave this review unless I write at least 200 characters.
- kevinpB3173FH (10/5): Great spot next to station, clean, comfy we're v. happy - Very comfortable, great mattress, great aircon, the singing waitress at breakfast was FABULOUS :) (and so was the full English brekkie). Station walking route is longer as the council have shut the shortcut, not the hotel's fault, but just to advise if you didn't want to or can't walk far.
- Ricky Kwok Kei (8/5): - Nice room in a reasonable location. Needs to work on manning of the restaurant.
- andrewdZ9482RO (2/5): Appalling customer service no empathy very very unhelpful attitude from staff at check-in desk smug spiteful rude! - Check in staff appalling attitude cancelled one of our party's room for rolling their eyes and shrugging. Unbelievable!
- U1769PVchrisj (10/5): Loved it - Found the staff very helpful and the check in process was very smooth and the staff helped a lot. The bedroom was very nice and the location was ideal. Just what I needed and I would come again.
- 722hazels (10/5): - Very comfortable stay. The evening service at the restaurant was excellent. The food was very tasty. Breakfast was also great, the hot breakfast was cooked to order and very enjoyable.
- Relax37105767722 (2/5): Appalling - Hotel fine, restaurant appalling, whoever runs the restaurant clearly never eats there. Stayed there last weekend , room fine as always, but the restaurant was down to two staff, one in the kitchen and one in the front. Long delays in getting served. Breakfast was worse, no cooking staff at all so full breakfast became toast. Will never stay there again.
- Q1544CZdavidb (10/5): - Lovely peaceful breakfast, nice coffee and food. very nice staff - Peps and her colleagues - a good start to the day ahead
- andreabT3309VT (10/5): Hotel great, restaurant shocking - The hotel is conveniently located for the railway station and town centre (5min walk) and appears to have been recently refurbished. Quiet rooms despite being in close proximity to the railway station. Plenty of Shops and restaurants nearby! The rooms are fresh and have air conditioning which is a huge bonus. The blue brick restaurant where breakfast was served was however appalling . Booked in for breakfast and on arrival was told we’d have to bear with them as they were busy as everyone had turned up the same time!!! The hotel was clearly full as there was a sporting event nearby but they clearly hadn’t accounted for this when staffing the restaurant! After a 25 min wait to order breakfast it eventually arrived a further 30 or so min later! My son ordered two fried eggs. I can’t even fathom how two fried eggs could look so bad! They were inedible and I would feed them to an animal! I ordered a cooked breakfast which was terrible and I spent half the morning on the toilet after eating it! The continental breakfast was non existent! No bread for toast! No pancakes or anything pastry wise! Juices empty, coffee machine not working as needed emptying I basically paid £10.99 for a bowl of cereal!!!!!!. The staff (all two of them) were fighting a losing battle to be fair! They did their best but it was impossible for them to cope adequately! Probably the worst place I have eaten in a long long time! Comes
To something when Wetherspoons is 1000 times better for a quarter of the price! Shame as I would have considered their evening meal and breakfast deal had it not been so bad! Would rather starve than go there again!
- Excursion23771194441 (10/5): Great customer service - Visiting with my family lovely clean room. Tracey at breakfast brilliant customer service lovely and friendly brilliant with the children.
- A4424EInickj (8/5): A Mixed Bag - The hotel is very placed, the shower was lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive. But, the Pillows were very hard, but the bed was comfortable. The food was undercooked with re-used oil used for the dinner, clearly. The breakfast was slightly undercooked and didn't look great
- K5839NMmelanied (10/5): Great service - Lovely comfortable hotel with easy access to the city.
Breakfast was great. Fast and very friendly service from Peps, who went above and beyond to serve our party - even arranging for some of our party to have cooked breakfast taken to their room. 😊
- Simonkabradko (4/5): To start with it as a positive outcome it's very clean however if you're here in long-term, not so much - I am writing to share my concerns about my recent stay at your hotel.Firstly, the airflow system is poor. There are no open windows, and the air feels very dry and stale. This made my stay uncomfortable.Additionally, my phone signal dropped significantly when I entered the hotel. While I appreciate the free Wi-Fi, it was slow and not reliable. Paying £5 for “unlimited access” that only gives one gigabyte feels inadequate.I have been in my room for four days, and my bin has not been emptied, nor has my room been cleaned. I understand it’s a budget hotel, but cleanliness should still be a priority.I also noticed a lack of staff, which affected service quality. The barmaid was working double shifts, running between the hotel and another bar. She did her best, but it’s clear there aren’t enough staff to assist guests properly.I observed staff members spending time discussing TikTok videos instead of helping guests. When I asked for my room key, I felt my concerns were not taken seriously, especially after paying over £600 for my stay. I expected my room to be cleaned and the bed to be made with fresh sheets after six days.Due to these issues, I won’t be returning to Premier Inn in the future. I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for your guests.Thank you for your attention.
- M3579EUgregp (10/5): Another lovely experience with great staff! - I was seated straight away, order taken promptly once I’d decided what I wanted. All food was delicious and the restaurant was busy but not crowded. Fiona was outstanding! She seated guests quickly, was taking all orders, bringing food out and clearing tables alone! She was like wonder woman, and friendly throughout! Really impressive to watch, and she even had a lovely smile for me when I was finished! Well done Fiona 👏🏻
- O7818DWfaithh (2/5): Terrible service! - I would rate this a 1. My experience here with my friends was extremely disappointing. The service was poor and left a lot to be disappointed.
- rude staff,
My one friend and his younger brother shown up first to check in, when they arrived they was greeted my a lady yesterday early afternoon the 13th July and told they wasn’t allowed to check in as there is no legal guardian, which is in correct because he is responsible for his younger brother because of there situation, and she was stating very rudely that they was not allowed to stay and will be getting a refund they explained everything to her and she just got more and more rude as the time went on. So they went out side and phoned the HR of the hotel and spoke to them and they said don’t worry this will get sorted go check in and you can stay as you are the responsibility for him so they went in to get the card and she was still very rude towards them. They got into the room and waited for the rest of us to get there, I then got there later on I walked up and there was no one at reception this was later on in the day near night time then finally I was greeting my a male employee I checked in fine as there was one booking. Then when the last of us got there there was there of these and they asked who is the legal guardian and the older sister said her and they allowed it without any questions or hassle. Now we find this very unfair to the first booking and they was treated completely different as it was the same situation with older siblings being responsible for them.
- check out,
When it became time to check out the first two lads checked out first and accidentally dropped the phone as the door closed and they had to leave early because they had to get to a football match that they where playing in at the stadium so I went down to ask if I could go and get the phone and I was greeted with a very rude lady who said I couldn’t get the phone as it wasn’t my room which I understand as it’s the rules but I don’t expect the rude attitude I was given so I left and he had to run back from the stadium to collect the phone which made him late and miss the first half where he was the main one playing in the first half. She went up and received the phone and was asking us questions about the phone which yet again I fully understand but not with the attitude that came with it. We finally received the phone and all got ready to check out we checked out fine as no one was there and just putting the card in the box.
But finally from my review we are all dissatisfied with our stay and we will be considering not staying again and recommending others to not stay.
- AaronG1325 (8/5): Good hotel better service! - A massive thank you to Peps! Without doubt the best server ever. Cheerful engaging and singing for our whole visit. I would book here agin just to listen to her 5 stars
- aimeelZ2178JO (10/5): Love staff member peps! We all need a peps in our lifes! ☺️ - Hotel staff lovely and helpful, restaurant staff mix of amazing and unprofessional, peps was amazing every morning greeting with the biggest smile and always checking in to ensure we were ok even when feeling a little under the weather kept coming to check in and offered support which was awesome! Some more staff could take some training in customer skills from her and then the restaurant would be in better working order.
- deonneg2025 (8/5): "Peps Made Our Stay – Warm Service After Room Mix-Up - We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and tidy, which we appreciated. However, we were slightly disappointed to find that the twin room we had booked through the company website was not available upon arrival. Instead, we were given a room with a bed and a settee that converted into a bed.
To their credit, the hotel acknowledged the inconvenience and offered us a complimentary breakfast, which was a kind gesture. The breakfast itself was hot, fresh, and enjoyable. A special mention goes to the server waitress , Peps, who was absolutely wonderful—always smiling, attentive, and quick to offer more. She truly made a positive impact on our stay and is a real asset to the team.
- Roving22092786954 (10/5): Great stay - Great service, friendly staff, comfy bed and room was clean and tidy. I visit very regularly to visit family and it’s a good location that suits my needs very well. I will always book with premier inn as o have never had a bad experience. Five stars
- adesinmisolam (2/5): Poor welcome at reception - The lady at the reception asked for our Nationality saying it was an Immigration request. I had NEVER heard of that before at any other Premier Inn I have ever been to and that was so racist to say the least. There was nowhere on the form that required Nationality and she said "yeah just write it anywhere on the paper"! Horrible reception and welcome to the hotel
- daniellebD9012CI (2/5): AWFUL EXPERIENCE FOR MY SONS BIRTHDAY - In August 2024 I was due to come over for my sons 12th birthday we had gotten Chelsea and wolves tickets delivered to front desk then in the day coming up to it in Knew something was wrong as signed for them but then misplaced them these tickets cost me nearly €500 and they couldn’t be found I have being promised a refund and my credit card interest keeps going up nearly 10months later and no refund has being issued and I’m being completely ignored have tried to get in contact so many ways !
- K7036TVdw (10/5): Another decent experience - The conversation during check in was pleasant
The room was as expected, there were no issues during the night
The service & food during breakfast was flawless.
Employees like Tracey and Nicola are why I choose premier inn over competitors.
- andylO7919SB (10/5): Tip top hotel - ............,....Great hotel .......friendly staff .......and very good food......... comfy beds ........pretty good location..,........ ..a short walk from the train station ...,.........stay and you won't regret it ...........

Brighton Fan - UTA 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️
Oh and premier inn was good 👍 Comfy beds & the shower could have been a bit hotter
A definite place to stay
- michellepW7808YS (10/5): Premier Inn and Blue Brick restaurant and bar highly recommended - Lovely place to stay. All staff were great. Beds very comfortable. Blue brick on the side of hotel was a very comfortable place to eat and drink.
Peps could not do enough for us. Very pleasant lady. Tracey, Fiona and Phil were also amazing in the evenings. We were well looked after. Highly recommended place to stay
- audreygY5478ON (10/5): Came to visit family. - Really nice location and very friendly staff. Restaurant was not serving evening meals as the chef was out sick but made up for it with breakfast. Every morning just got better and better. Thank you for a great stay. I will definitely be coming back.
- 532myrnah (10/5): Premier Inn Wolves CC - breakaway. - Hotel was very well laid out, beds were so relaxing. Could have done with mini fridge in the room to keep bottles of watervetc cold. Very clean rooms.
Breakfast at next door restaurant was faultless, staff were very attentive and explained what was available and no long waits for cooked breakfast. Staff rating would be 10/10!
- Rollo158 (10/5): Surprisingly good hotel - The room clean and warm and looked nice, the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The bed was fantastically comfortable, in fact I want one of their mattresses. The hotel is great location for the theatre and city centre and close to public transport routes. The parking was easy and although an extra cost it was in total all very good value for money. We even got a complementary bottle of wine 😁
- melonied914 (10/5): Great breakfast - Best breakfast and great service from Toby, Tracey and Fiona. They went out of their way to accommodate my gluten free requirements - they also had Schar muesli a rare find! Definitely recommend. Would also say is near West Park park run, perfect after run refuel.
- beanyMeltonMowbray (10/5): Night away to see a gig at KK'steelmill - Great location,

- emmagD2590NN (2/5): Poor overall experience - Check in queue was large and painfully slow. Reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Room was hot, stuffy (the windows don't open) and stank of disinfectant.
We had pre booked a meal deal to find the restaurant was shut for refurbishment that weekend, so had to find somewhere to eat last minute in the city centre. Why advertise the meal deal and send us emails about it if you knew the restaurant was shut?!
Complained to premier inn but they did nothing and have yet to refund us for the meal deal.
- ragman1960 (10/5): Excellent location - Excellent location just around the corner from Wolverhampton train station
Easy check inn , restaurant closed at the moment but after an overnight stay we had a wonderful breakfast, room nice, clean with a bath, double bed and bathroom with shower, great staff and great food.
- CastleResident (10/5): Quality stay for Concert in Town - Stayed for 3 nights (Fri-Mon) , had early check in as requested, room was clean and tidy (316) , lifts worked well, had 3 very good nights sleep found the area to be very quiet. Had breakfast on 3 occasions, the food was excellent (especially the scrambled egg) thank you to Tracey & John for the Friday & Monday the lady in charge on Saturday was also extremely helpful, all in all a very enjoyable stay and only 25 minutes walk from the Wulfrun Hall with a couple of stops on the way especially at the nearby Great Western Pub which was excellent, and only 5 minutes from the Station.
- DebbieC213 (4/5): Disappointing - Cleanliness was questionable. Some sort of substance on the side of the bed and on the curtains. Dirty towel left in room and I had to request another. No chair in my room so was unable to use the desk. The toilet paper is awful!! Like crepe paper you get in public toilets. I’d expect better for the price I paid. Did not raise with reception staff as they didn’t seem too bother when I asked for a towel to replace the dirty one and made no enough to ask how my stay my was on my departure. I arrived later in the evening after work and was out early the next morning so as the bed appeared clean, didn’t want the aggravation of asking to move rooms. Very disappointing as a Premier Inn is often a fail safe booking.
