Guest Reviews
- Explore06457773763 (2/5): Not impressed - Poor Service. Old Hotel. Had various issues with the room due to cleanliness and due to the older hotel the room was very dated and lacking modern facilities. I would say I also had problems with the heat as it kept not working in these cold weathers.
I went to reception on new occasions about how the room was up to plenty of standards the lack of toilet paper in one of the rooms and every receptionist I’ve spoke to just made excuses to say this building is old and expected me to agree with that, even though I paid for a room, when I asked to either a move rooms or move to another hotel in the local area, the team members refused and said unfortunately they won’t do that. It’s very upsetting. Every time I walk past the reception or try to speak to staff members regarding numerous issues including some bad service at the restaurant the staff are completely on their mobile phones continuously watching videos playing on them talking to other people while myself and another guess of walking through the office area. Very dated hotel in need of major refurbishment and clearly lacking in good leadership as the staff have more interest in playing on the phones watching videos that had trying to assist their guests. I have racist complaint with your management head office team.
- T4773JVchrisi (10/5): 10/10 Front of House - I want to express my gratitude for the outstanding care I've received from Jamie on the front desk during working night shifts. Jamie has been incredibly attentive and supportive, always ensuring i have everything i need as im usually still in bed when the rooms are cleaned. Their warm and friendly demeanor have made a big difference in my experience. Thank You Jaime for looking after me!
- D7316GLmichelleh (10/5): Best experience! Best premier inn - I could not of been greeted by a friendlier, funnier receptionist than the one at Hayle. Jamie greeted me with the most welcoming smile. The room was so clean! Spotless in fact, the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed. Including the corridors. I have booked for next week already.
- 994sunshine16 (10/5): 5⭐️ hotel and service - Arrived at Hayle to be welcomed by the lovely Jamie, she was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean tidy and well located for seeing the local area. Plenty of parking and restaurant next door. In the morning we encountered Haydon who also was friendly and very knowledgeable with what to do in the area. We will return and thank you Hayle PI team for a fab stay 💜🌜⭐️
- christinewV1193ZJ (6/5): Good location - We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, the room & bathroom were clean. The bath was very high to get into for a shower. We booked to eat in the Brewers Fayre next door in the evening & there were more items off the menu & it was a struggle to get anything to eat. Breakfast was fine.
- danielpU8645EH (10/5): 10stars - Place was amazing.lovely location and very clean room. Staff were really polite and helpfull especially Jamie joy and Tilly. Thanks and we will definitely stay here again if visiting area again. Thanks again guys 🤩🤩🤩💯
- stevepN1761NX (10/5): FANTASTIC - The staff were excellent, and the rooms were excellent. Any problems I had they sorted straight away. I had to swap rooms.
- beasley91 (4/5): Dreadful - Very slow check in. Room stuffy and very hot. No air con
Only a small, very noisy fan. Window only opened a couple of inches, despite being on ground floor. Lots of noise from room above, despite 'quiet time'
To top it off, after a terrible sleep someone tried to get in our room early morning
- 20kaib (10/5): Friendly staff, great location, lovely hotel. - Stayed 3 nights at the Hayle Premier Inn to see an old work colleague that recently moved to cornwall. The staff were lovely and friendly, had the pleasure of speaking to Tilly, Joy and Jamie during my stay, all were friendly, chatty and knowledgeable of the local area and happily suggested good restaurants to try and things to do. The location is wonderful, out of the way of everything so very quiet and relaxing but easily within a commutable distance of the town and surrounding areas. Overall a great place to stay and very friendly and helpful staff always on hand.
- A1837GQmariel (4/5): Not a great experience, staff were pleasant but place needs a good clean - Room felt dirty. Dust on curtains and carpet needed a good clean and hoover. Worst Premier in I’ve stayed at. The food in the brewers Fayre was terrible. Would not stay again.
- Vincenzo (6/5): Giusto dinpassaggio - Hotel appena fuori dall’autostrada. Personale non molto cortese. Lo stato della struttura e discreta.
- C3548GJjanicea (2/5): Filthy - Filthy dirty and tatty room, was there for a family wedding otherwise would have gone straight back home. Slept on top of bed after seeing the state of the room,no one offered to come and see what I was complaining about or look into it,just gave me a card with the website details absolutely disgusted
- Q2104TOlukes (2/5): Don't stay here! - Stayed here before our actual holiday elsewhere and would never come back.
Restaurant meal deal is a scam. Didn't have half the menu for dinner or breakfast. Food looked like it had been in a fight with the chef. Tables were sticky. Beds were wonky, lights flickering. Purchased ultimate WiFi but they told us afterwards the mast is down for months.
Everything about the hotel is dirty and run terribly. Dont come here
- C9066XHmichaelp (10/5): The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean and comfortable. - The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was a cool air fan they supplied, was very good as it was a very warm night.
The staff were very good at the front desk too.
- Malmstraveler (10/5): Unexpected Pleasure! - We stayed here for 4 nights while attending a nearby wedding. Premiere Inns do what they say on the tin; reasonably basic, decent sized room & incredibly comfortable bed. No AC which was not expected, but a good fan had been placed in the room & was on, cooling the room nicely on the hottest weekend of the year. That leads me on to the staff, brilliant! They were all friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. In particular, Jamie went over & above the norm. Amazingly helpful & a lovely personality. If that lady wants a career in hospitality, she will go far!
- DSMNBMK (8/5): Clean, comfortable room. Reasonable prices. Needs AirCon! - Clean, comfortable room and friendly receptionists. Pub next door was fine foe a meal and drink at reasonable prices. Free parking was an added bonus.
One downside was that there's no air con. We stayed on a very hot night and the efficient fan in the room helped, but it was still very sticky!
- Nickythompson1 (2/5): Unpleasant - AVOID The Premier Inn at Hayle. Room 23 smells stale. The bathroom is in urgent need of, at best, a thorough cleaning & preferably complete renovation. The paintwork is old and flaking, the bath taps are old & rusty & have stained the bath. And the soap dispenser is rusty & filthy - bring your own soap. See photos.
- X9118PVmikeb (10/5): Great value - An ideal overnight stay for me while visiting relatives in the area
The hotel itself is very clean the rooms are more than adequate
Comfortable beds, clean towels, the room was spotless
The receptionist Jamie was lovely very helpful and cheerful
The evening meal was nice and well cooked
The staff were polite and I did not feel rushed to leave once I had finished
Breakfast was as always amazing again the staff were very friendly and attentive
The pub/restaurant itself could do with a lick of paint to freshen it up but other than than perfect
- kentcouple31 (2/5): very disappointed, poor all round - first time ever had a bad stay at a premier inn!
we booked this has it advertised a play ground for our three year old! it was closed! and had been or days. there was building work going on for a new power cable.
room was ok first glance but the more you looked the grumpier it got! the window had bird poo all across it and had not been cleaned in months/maybe even years. mould in corner of room. we had booked two nights but asked if we could leave after one and get refund, told NO! then told power cut in morning as they put new cable in so we would miss the pre paid breakfast asked for refund again told cant do it and the icing on the cake we went out for 6 hours to the beach as we left we asked the manager himself to refresh our room and returned and nothing had been done! even make up room tab was still on door. passed to four plus people on their helpline. not happy at all.
- J1896DUbilll (4/5): Very disappointed. - Bathroom water pressure was very very poor. Nearly 5 mins to fill wash basin. Extractor fan in bathroom almost non existent, bathroom mirror was totally misted up after shower. Nowhere near as good as previous experiences at Premier Inn. Pricing also difficult to follow, 4 nights stay all at different rates, why ?
